Hii everyone!! Thank you so much for requesting!! I am glad oyu enjoy my work <33 I would like to apologize again for how long this took =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪‧̣̥̇) I have no excuse for myself, and also I still have a lot of requests to do so stay tuned <33 (itll probably take long but shush)
MASTERLIST!!
Might be OOC!! and is short!! :((
cw: mentions of toxic family members, no use of y/n, use of she/her pronouns but really minimal since i mostly use 'you'
ʟᴇᴏʀɪᴏ, ᴋᴜʀᴀᴘɪᴋᴀ, ᴋɪʟʟᴜᴀ, ɢᴏɴ (sᴇᴘᴀʀᴀᴛᴇ) x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ
It was at that moment knew, you messed up, at least in your eyes.
・・・・・
Some minutes ago, you got a call from your lovely family member, just friendly chit chat right? Wrong!! Again and again it turned against you. It always ends like this. No matter what you try, you will never be enough for them. And lately there has been so much going on too...
・・・・・
And that is why you ended up bawling your eyes out besides the bed in your current accomodation, with him next to you.
ʟᴇᴏʀɪᴏ ᴘᴀʀᴀᴅɪɴɪɢʜᴛ
A sob left your throat and you looked at him with teary eyes. Why did he even bother to stay? Yes, he is different to you. He cares, but he cares enough to stay? To stay when you are at your lowest. You turn to take a look at him.
"Why are you still here?"
You sniffle as you slightly lean into his gentle touch on your back. He only continues caressing you gently, and then leans in to gently wrap his arms around you.
"I am here for you because i care...silly"
And so, he stayed by your side for a long time. Enough for you to partially calm down. Everything is good now. He's here.
ᴋᴜʀᴀᴘɪᴋᴀ ᴋᴜʀᴛᴀ
As you sob softly- actually not softly at all, you bawl your eyes out, after finally breaking down your oh so happy facade you always let on, you might actually hear someones steps towards you, slowly pushing your head upwards to look at the unwanted intruder.
"Oh...not him please...he can't see me like this"
You thought, but it was too late. He has already sat down beside you, worried. Why was a person that is so dear to him, crying on the floor, looking as if their whole family got murdered, their cat got ran over and they lost all their money due to gamling. Which, obviously, isn't true, but you might or might not look like that.
He silently sat next to you. Keeping you company, occasionally caressing your back. After all, thats what you did when he was in your place.
ɢᴏɴ ғʀᴇᴇᴄss
When Gon saw you, his best friend, bawling their eyes, not just because they watched a sad reel, or a sad movie, perhaps a sad book. No. No sign of that around. He knew something must have happened. And so he approaches you without a second thought, crouching down beside you.
"Hey...what's wrong?"
But you continue sobbing! he just wants to help, but how. And then he leaves! Really? Why does everyone leave you? That doesn't even sound like Gon. But then he returns. Carrying a bunch of snacks...such a sweet gesture right? And!! He stayed.
ᴋɪʟʟᴜᴀ ᴢᴏʟᴅʏᴄᴋ
It's not as if he knew what to do when he saw you breaking down right infront of him, even if you didn't know about him. It is not as if he got a lot of comfort when he was a kid ya know? Yet, he tries. He stays. And speak gently into your ear, how it's all gonna be okay. How he wont leave. How he will stay.
Later, when you calm down, he will awkwardly offer you some of his choco robots, not much tho!! It's still his after all....

Headcanons of Kurapika, Killua and Gon with a female s/o who is like Nezuko. And they see her fighting someone for the first time
nezuko!s/o

Anime/fandom: Hunter x Hunter
Characters: Kurapika, Killua Zoldyck, Gon Freecs
Warnings: I don’t proofread
A/N: gorgeous baby
Hunter x Hunter masterlist | Main masterlist
Kurapika
He’s wary of you, it’s normal for him to be careful with anyone who looks suspicious, he has a clan to avenge, he has to be careful
And the bamboo and super strength of yours is quite suspicious, of course. Although endearing and adorable.
Once he learns your past and how you weren’t always a man-eating demon, but was forcibly turned one and had your family die, he feels so much sympathy for you
He’s no stranger to having loved ones die so he vows to help and protect you as long as you’re with him
He thinks it’s sweet how you won’t eat humans and also is at first astonished to how far your powers can go when he first sees you in action, he’s sure there’s stars in his eyes as he watched you go all out when you fight, putting in your all
He eventually becomes a closed off person, locking himself away for long hours in the dark and it becomes a perfect time for you to comfort him comfortably without fear on being burnt by the sun
Its moments like these he feels truly blessed to have you, and he whispers to you to find a way to turn you back as he goes through the journey to avenge his clan, he promises and kisses your cold hand.
Killua Zoldyck
He’s obviously intrigued by you, you look like you can bring some fun into his life and you have proved you have
Hes a Zoldyck, he’s not scared away by your demon features like your sharp teeth that pierce through the bamboo, or your strength or how you hide away away from the sun.
He teases you as you hide from the bright sun but it’s never harmful, and he only picks at how small you look in the corner and who’s the sun is your biggest enemy.
“Your body looks so small, hey— think you can shrink any smaller so I can carry you in my pocket.”
He wouldn’t mind if you actually humans but he definitely sees you in a better light because you don’t, you still have so much humanity in you despite what’s happened it’s admirable and he strives to be as brave as you. Pushing through despite everything that’s happened to you.
He thinks you look badass fighting and will cheer you on even if it’s just you training, and he definitely uses your strength to have fun as he rides on your back.
He’s happy to have someone who’s strong and admirable like you in his life, and he swears to help you, and who knows, maybe Alluka/Nanika could make you turn back to being human.
Gon Freecs
He’s a judgemental-free boy, he was right and thinks you look super cool. He looks at you with twinkle in his eyes when he sees how easy you can scoop him up into your arms.
He thinks it’s cute how carefree and kind you are despite being a cannibal demon, you chose to be kind instead of giving in to urges your instincts Ms hunger your body has been forced into.
He could praise you forever, and he still will even while rushes you to a dark place, away from the sun, carrying you in his arms as he looks at you with his bright smile, running off as the both of you laugh.
He feels sympathy when he finds out how you became a demon what happened to your family, and it makes him respect you even more that you push through to be good.
Gon hugs you tightly in the dark room, as if you’ll die on him if he lets go, and declares he will help you as you mean so much to him

How would Gon and Killua react to finding out their girlfriend is being bullied, and she didn't tell them about it.
Some girls in my painting class are teasing and mocking me and my friends almost every day, and I need some comfort 😔
(For anyone that has requested, i am getting to you!! I am sorry as well-, mental health problems HAS BEEN DRAGGING ME BY MY WIGG. Anyways.)
my poor bby:((, dwdw i’ll get u some comfort🫶 (together then one at a time !)
Killua , Gon X Reader !
Warning ; no really pronouns for reader ! and just saying you for reader .

Kilgon x Reader — ( Reader getting bullied . :( )
. 1 ; Killua was noticing that you were sorta distancing yourself , of course he had to tell gon about it . But he also planned to watch you during school hours just to see what you were doing , dragging gon into it and so there they both saw some girls and one boy. Gon was really confused as he just thought you guys were just talking before one of the girls pushed you back into a locker, mocking and calling you names. The others laughed along before dragging the girl away as well. Of course sorta talking shit about anyone. That was the moment the two of them realized the main reason why you were distancing yourself was because of them, normally killua had the thought of absolutely scaring them while gon thought of doing rock paper scissors but since you guys were still in school, they didnt wanna get in trouble.
. 2 ; Gon thought it would be good to wait to see if you would tell them afterall, if you got even more distance thats when he had to let go pf that thought and talk to you with killua. Killua Straight up mentioned to just drag to them and get you cleaned up if you were hurt since, getting pushed into a fucking locker would hurt and talk to you then, but killua’s talking was just scolding the fuck out of you and then saying the romantic and sad shit after that.. like he normally did. Gon just convinced killua to go with his plan instead of scolding you which he didnt think would be theee best idea after you just got shoved into a locker…
. 3 ; But after you didnt tell killua and gon, yes you werent that distance like before just a bit more open with them but yet another week or so you got more distance. something did happen then, and soo. Killua and gon did killua’s plan but more tame as, gon didnt want you to be scared but killua just wanted to help and gon saw that of course. Killua and gon at lunch went to find you and found you quickly, as you were in your locker. Putting away your books before getting tapped on the shoulder by gon and you turned around as you tilted your head.
" Can you come with us ? "
" Yea, come on . "
killua added on before gently grabbed you and dragged you into a random class room. Gon followed you two as he closed the door, he sighed softly before walking to you while killua putted you up on a desk.
" so , we know you have been getting bullied. "
" and didn’t tell us ! "
Gon was grabbing something from his bag, grabbing it as he was checking if you had any scratches or bruises while killua looked at you with disappointment.
" i- guys. "
" No , Love you didnt tell us. I can understand if you were scared but love . "
" you could off told us , we would of helped ! "
Gon stood up from kneeling. He tilted his head before holding your cheek and kissing it as he stared at you.
" You’re amazing, you know that? Just because those.. girls and that boy? Said shit, doesn’t mean you’re not amazing! "
" they are just really really stupid to think they could bully you even- "
" kil. No . "
" as much as i do wanna see them scared , killua no - "
" i was jokingg.. "
" no you weren’t . "
" yea i wasn’t . "
. 4 ; Yea after that, killua did scare them. Not enough that they would report him but enough that they would leave you alone nd plus, he too, you and gon out to get ice cream which you three had a playful fight about which ice cream flavor was the best..

I cant complete this, im sorry!! But i hope this makes you feel more better, as idk if this is what you wanted my butterfly but 😕 i’ll fix it soon if u dont like it!!

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔

Headcanons | Gon Freecss x Gn!Quiet!Reader | Romantic Fluff (Reader doesnt talk a lot, just smiles, frowns, blinks, head tilts etc.)

♡ The first time you talked to Gon, he was bouncing off the walls and grinning from ear to ear
♡ He was so excited to finally hear your voice, so happy to hear you talk to him
♡ And your first words being 'I love you' just made it 100x better for the little gremlin
♡ He doesnt push you to speak, but he does wait patiently for you to do so
♡ Whether it be when you're asked a question or asked to give your opinion, he looks at you like a puppy and sorta deflates when you just shake your head or wave the person off
♡ Of course, as said before, he doesnt push you to talk
♡ He doesnt know why you don't talk a lot, but the little actions you do are so cute, and he can't help but coo
♡ Hes rubbing his cheek against yours and gushes about how cute you are
♡ He loves hugs, that's a given, but when you hug him, bury your head in his shoulders/neck, and mumble things to him -- he's in heaven
♡ Hes listening to your every word and treats it like its a gift from the gods
♡ When you tell him you talk around people you're extremely comfortable with, he gets all excited and bouncy
♡ Hes so happy to know that you trust him and are comfortable enough around him to actually talk to him!! Makes him all shaky/pos
♡ He does the little flappy thing with his hands when he gets excited too, so whenever you talk he does that
♡ Hes just a happy little boy that respects your wishes for being quiet and only talking when you want to <3
♡ My sweet baby :( <3

there's barely any tags for my baby :(

Unspoken Tension / Quiet Obsession (Illumi Zooldyck x Reader)

Unspoken Tension / Quiet Obsession
Pairing; Illumi Zoldyck x Reader
Anime: Hunter x Hunter
Synopsis:A woman with secrets, a man with control. Illumi Zoldyck finds her, and their silence lingers with something unspoken.
Warnings: slow burn, dark themes, rough sex, fingering, comfort in Illumi's way
You’ve always kept to the edges, moving through life unnoticed. You’ve had your share of battles—physical and otherwise—and learned early that blending in was as important as any skill. Your past is a blur, just fragments you’ve pieced together, like a puzzle you can’t quite finish. In the shadows, you thrive, and that’s enough for now.
There’s always been a quiet certainty that when the time comes, you'll be ready. You’re waiting for something, though you can’t say what—maybe a clue, or someone who knows more about you than you do. Tonight, it’s just another evening, another bar, another meet-up. But your instincts tell you something’s off.
The bar was shrouded in shadows, the faint flicker of a red neon sign casting eerie shapes on the cracked floor. You pushed through the heavy door, the creak of its hinges slicing through the muffled hum of conversation. The smoky air wrapped around you like a warning, but you ignored it, your heels clicking softly as you approached the bar.
Two men sat at the far end of the bar, framed by the flickering light. One of them lounged lazily, a grin stretched across his lips—Hisoka. Beside him, the other man sat perfectly still, an eerie contrast to Hisoka’s theatrics. Illumi who absentmindedly wrapped his hair around his finger while Hisoka teased him, clearly enjoying the moment.
Illumi’s needle hung from his robe as usual, while his other hand rested casually on his knee, ever ready to strike if necessary.
“Illumi, don’t be so dull. Where’s the fun in that?” Hisoka chuckled, looking amused.
“Be quiet, before I make you” Illumi replied, rolling his eyes in annoyance, still sipping his drink.
Hisoka’s gaze snapped to you almost instantly when he sense your nen, knowing exactly that you are Y/N, his grin unfurling like a blade hidden in silk. He adjusted his suit jacket with deliberate flair, the faint gleam in his eyes hinting at both curiosity and danger.
‘Well, well, look what we have here,’ he purred, stepping toward you with unsettling grace.”
“A lovely lady, all alone and ripe for the picking.”
He extended his hand towards you, offering it with a gentlemanly air, though a glint of mischief danced in his eyes. Illumi remained seated, his gaze flicking between you and Hisoka, his needle twitching slightly, as though he were anticipating whatever might happen next.
You raised an eyebrow at Hisoka’s bold approach, your crimson lips curling into a smirk. A small part of you felt uncertain—there was something about this situation that didn’t sit right. “And just what do you think you're 'picking'?” you asked, your voice calm, but with an edge of challenge. Despite the unease creeping at the back of your mind, you accepted his hand.
Hisoka's grin widened at your firm handshake, a spark of amusement lighting up his eyes. “Oh, my dear, I’m not sure yet. But I have a feeling you’re going to make this evening very... interesting,” he said, leaning in a bit closer, his voice turning husky. “Care to join me and my friend for a drink? We can discuss the possibilities.”
Meanwhile, Illumi remained passive, watching the exchange with interest. His eyes flickered between you and Hisoka, seemingly impassive. His needle quivered faintly as though waiting for the right moment to strike. When your gaze met his, Illumi simply studied you with his trademark unreadable expression, the coolness of his stare sending a chill through the air.
Your eyes lingered on the Illumi’s needle, his cold presence making your pulse quicken. There was something unsettling about the stillness in his posture—it was like he was watching you with the precision of a predator. A chill ran down your spine, and despite the intrigue it sparked, you couldn’t deny the sense of danger radiating from him. Your heart beat a little faster, the unease creeping up on you, yet you couldn’t look away.
“You seem... interesting,” Hisoka said playfully, glancing over at Illumi with a mischievous glint. “Our friend here looks like he’s already sizing you up. No need to worry about him,” he added, with a wink.
You turned to Illumi, your gaze steady, though you felt a slight unease at his intense observation. The silence between you two was thick with unspoken tension. His presence was imposing, yet you couldn’t look away.
“Well now,” you said, breaking the silence. “A drink won’t hurt.”
You slid into the stool next to Illumi, crossing your legs and leaning back slightly, still feeling his piercing gaze on you.
Hisoka clapped his hands together clearly pleased with your response. “Excellent choice! Another round for us, bartender,” he called, signaling for more drinks.
Illumi remained silent, his posture relaxed but alert. He regarded you with the same intense focus, his gaze sharp, as if assessing you on some deeper level.
“So, tell me” Hisoka said, returning to his seat beside you after collecting the drinks. “What brings a stunning woman like yourself to a place like this? Looking for adventure, perhaps?” Hisoka’s question was light, but the underlying curiosity was clear.
You took a slow sip of your drink, never breaking eye contact with Illumi. His attention was making you feel uneasy, but you stayed composed. You couldn’t help but wonder: why was he playing with that needle? What was his deal?
After a moment, you turned to Hisoka, offering him a small, confident smile. “Just passing through, waiting for a friend,” you replied smoothly, your voice calm but with a hint of mystery. “What about you two?”
Hisoka chuckled, sipping from his own glass. “Just enjoying the finer things in life: good company, fine liquor,” he said, winking at you playfully. “Perhaps a little entertainment, if you’re in the mood.”
Illumi, on the otherhand, didn’t respond verbally. He simply tilted his head slightly, studying you with a gaze that felt as though he were trying to see through you. The needle twitched once more, drawing lazy circles in the air, as if testing the limits of the tension between you.
The silence stretched on, uncomfortable, until Illumi finally spoke. “Your friend had better hurry,” he said, his voice cold and flat. “This isn’t a safe place for someone like you to linger.”
His words were cryptic, but there was an edge to them, something that made your skin prickle.
You glanced at Illumi, your eyes narrowing. “Someone like me?” you asked, not sure if you were being threatened or warned. Hisoka, sensing the tension, stepped in to break the silence.
“Now, now, let’s not jump to conclusions,” he said with a soft chuckle, placing a calming hand on Illumi’s shoulder. “Our guest seems perfectly capable of handling yourself. Aren’t you, Y/N?”
Hisoka’s tone was light, but there was a subtle edge beneath the words, as though he, too, were aware of the growing competition for your attention.
You noticed the way Hisoka’s touch on Illumi’s shoulder seemed both friendly and possessive. It was clear they had some sort of complicated relationship, and you were caught in the middle of it. But what caught your attention, is that they know your name, but you decide not to speak about it.
You raised an eyebrow at Illumi’s comment, trying to keep your cool despite the unease settling in your chest. “I’m not sure I understand. Are you perhaps… threatening me?” you whispered, your voice steady, even though the tension in the room was making your heart race.
Illumi’s lips curved into a faint, mocking smile. “Threaten you? Oh, no. I'm merely offering... a warning.” he purred, his tone oozing with condescension. “Consider it a courtesy.”
Hisoka quickly intervened, his voice soothing. “Pay him no mind, Y/N. My friend there speaks in riddles sometimes. It’s just his way of showing interest.”
Despite Hisoka’s attempt to downplay the situation, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something more complicated was at play here.
You looked at Illumi’s mocking smile, the chill creeping up your spine at his tone. You turned back to Hisoka, trying to ease the tension. “I’m not sure I buy that,” you murmured to yourself, then smiled at Hisoka, attempting to lighten the mood. “But thanks for the intervention.”
Hisoka chuckled, clearly unfazed by the tension. “Ah, always so perceptive, aren’t you?” He raised his glass in a toast. “To new acquaintances and the intriguing games we play, hmm?”
The tension between the three of you remained thick in the air. Illumi leaned back in his seat, watching you intently, his needle still tracing lazy patterns in the air.
“So, what do you do for a living?” you asked, trying to shift the focus back to Hisoka. You could feel his eyes flickering over you, sensing your curiosity.
Hisoka grinned, clearly pleased by the question. “Oh, I dabble in many pursuits,” he said. “Collecting rare artifacts, attending underground fights, savoring exquisite cuisine...” He paused, letting the words hang in the air for dramatic effect. “And occasionally, I provide a... more exclusive form of entertainment for those who know how to appreciate certain... unique talents.”
His words were playful, but there was a sense of pride in them, as if he relished in his dangerous lifestyle.
As you turned to Illumi, you could feel the weight of his silent gaze. His presence was suffocating, and you sensed the layers of his mystery, but he didn’t respond.
“What about your friend?” you asked, your tone casual, but with a trace of challenge. The air between you two thickened.
Hisoka’s grin widened, but he avoided giving you a direct answer. “Illumi here is a man of many talents,” he said vaguely. “He has a... certain calling in life.”
Before you could ask more, Illumi stood up abruptly, the scraping of his chair on the floor making you tense.
“Enough idle chatter,” he said coldly. “If you’re done prattling, perhaps our host has something more stimulating in store for us.”
He turned and began to walk toward the exit, leaving an unsettling silence in his wake. You watched him leave, feeling a mix of relief and confusion. His mention of a "host" caught you off guard. Who was he talking about? The way he spoke suggested something far more serious than a casual meeting, but you couldn't place the connection yet.
“Well, that was certainly an interesting introduction,” you said to Hisoka, trying to shrug off the discomfort.
Hisoka chuckled, unbothered by Illumi’s abrupt exit. “Yes, Illumi can be a bit... intense,” he said. “But don’t worry, he means no harm... unless provoked.”
Hisoka leaned closer to you, his breath warm against your ear. “I find your reaction to him quite fascinating,” he said, his voice low and intimate. “You’re more than just a pretty face, aren’t you?”
You turned your gaze back to Hisoka, intrigued by his words, but still uncertain of where this night would lead.
“Well, I've faced worse than his eccentric personality,” you smile jokingly.
Hisoka’s grin widened, clearly amused by your bravery. “Is that so? I’d love to hear more about these ‘worse’ encounters of yours. Perhaps over dinner, hmm?”
He signaled the bartender for another round of drinks. As they waited for their refreshments, Hisoka continued to regale you with outrageous tales of his adventures, each one more bizarre and captivating than the last.
Meanwhile, Illumi re-entered the bar, his expression as inscrutable as ever. He slid onto the stool next to you, his presence subtly overwhelming. Despite the physical space between you, you couldn’t escape the weight of his gaze, as if he were silently dissecting your every movement.
You glanced at him as he returned, going back to the host he’d mentioned earlier—but of course, you had no idea what he meant by that. There was something about the way he had said it, a certain expectation, as if his presence here was tied to more than just a casual meeting.
You noticed Hisoka’s quick, subtle gesture when Illumi sat down—a nearly imperceptible nod, as if confirming something without words. It didn’t escape your attention, but you couldn’t quite place its significance.
“Okay, I’m done,” you say calmly, though clearly irritated. “Do you have a problem?” you ask, looking at Illumi, bracing yourself for whatever might come next.
Illumi’s eyes narrowed ever so slightly, his expression unreadable. However, there was no sign of anger or aggression in his demeanor. Instead, he tilted his head and studied you with a curious, almost intrigued look.
“Problem?” he repeated in a low, measured voice. “Hardly. I simply find your... audacity rather intriguing. Most would have fled in terror at the sight of me, yet here you stand, unflinching.”
He leaned back in his stool, his posture relaxed, but his gaze never strayed from you. “Tell me, what drives someone like you to face danger so directly? Is it bravery, stupidity, or perhaps something else?”
The question lingered, heavy with a subtle menace. Illumi’s gaze pierced into you, as if trying to read something in you only you could answer. Hisoka observed the interaction, clearly fascinated, eager to see how you’d handle Illumi's probing.
You took a deep breath, trying to remain composed despite Illumi's unrelenting stare.
“It’s none of your business,” you respond firmly. “And... why should I be terrified of you?” you meet his gaze without flinching, even though your heart races slightly faster.
Illumi’s lips curled into a faint, knowing smile at your defiance. “Brave words,” he murmured softly. “We’ll see how long they last.”
He reached out, his fingers brushing against your wrist in a fleeting, chilling touch. The sensation sent a shiver down your spine, a mix of disgust and morbid fascination. “Perhaps I should demonstrate just how terrifying I can be,” he purred, his voice carrying a dark, unsettling promise.
Before you could react, Hisoka placed a hand lightly on Illumi's shoulder, his voice a smooth contrast to Illumi’s ominous tone. “Now, now, let’s not scare off our lovely guest just yet,” he chided, a playful edge in his words.
Turning to you, Hisoka flashed that signature, teasing grin. You quickly pull your arm away from Illumi’s touch, a sense of unease growing in your chest. Your heartbeat quickens, his aura undeniably dangerous, but there’s also something about him that draws you in. Still, the feeling of being unsettled and annoyed lingers.
“Thanks,” you say to Hisoka, giving him a brief but grateful look while keeping your attention fixed on Illumi. “But I think I’ll leave now.” You stand, meeting Illumi’s intense gaze one last time.
Hisoka rose to his feet with a sweeping bow. “A pleasure, Y/N. I do hope our paths cross again, though perhaps next time in less... tense circumstances.”
As you made your way to the door, Illumi remained seated, his gaze unwavering as he watched your every movement. “Until next time” he whispered, his voice carrying a dangerous promise.
Once you exited the bar, Hisoka whistled lowly. “Quite the spark between you two,” he said, his eyes flicking to Illumi. “I hope you can handle the flames to come.” Illumi remained silent, watching the door with a slight, unreadable tilt of his head. A faint, almost imperceptible flicker of something crossed his face—perhaps a mix of interest and calculation—but he didn’t comment. Hisoka smirked, sensing the night was far from over.
You stepped outside into the cool evening air, the wind brushing against your face. Your thoughts raced with everything that had happened—Illumi, Hisoka, the odd tension that hung in the air between the three of you. Something about them—about him—kept you intrigued, despite everything telling you to stay away.
The following days passed in a haze. Between training your Nen and trying to keep your mind focused, the encounter with Illumi and Hisoka lingered at the back of your thoughts. You went through your routines, honing your skills in the solitude of your own space, but a nagging thought kept surfacing: Could this strange connection with them somehow serve your ultimate goal?
Your instincts told you to stay cautious, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that this was the beginning of something much larger.
That night, just as you were about to slip into restless sleep, a knock at your door shattered the silence. Your heart raced, pulse quickening with anticipation. Hesitant, you approached the door, peeking through the peephole. A shadow loomed outside.
"Illumi?" you whisper, barely above a breath. The knocking continues, more insistent this time.
You hesitate, every instinct telling you to stay safe. Yet, curiosity overwhelms you. Slowly, you open the door just a crack. When you see Illumi standing there, you freeze for a moment, unsure what to do. Part of you wants to slam the door shut, but the other part... is intrigued.
"How do you know where I live?" you ask, your voice a little more uncertain than you'd like to admit. "What are you doing here?" You keep your gaze locked on him, your body on alert.
Illumi steps inside without waiting for an invitation, closing the door softly behind him. In the dim light, his presence feels almost suffocating—like a predator watching its prey.
"You shouldn't be surprised," he murmurs smoothly, his voice like silk. "In our world, secrets aren't hard to uncover. Especially when someone as... captivating as you is involved."
He steps closer, his proximity sending a ripple of heat through your body. The danger in his every move is undeniable.
"I came to extend an invitation," he says, his voice low, mesmerizing. "Tomorrow night. A private gathering. It will be... an experience you won't forget."
You swallow, trying to hold your ground as his gaze locks onto yours. His presence, so close, sends an electric current running through your skin, leaving you with a chilling sense of unease—and, for some reason, something else.
"I don't think so," you respond, trying to keep your composure. "I don't trust you yet to accept an invitation from someone like you."
Illumi’s lips twitch into a small, calculating smile as he watches you. His gaze is cold, yet there’s something predatory in it. "That’s precisely why you should consider it," he says, his voice low and steady. He reaches forward, his fingers grazing the side of your face with eerie precision, his touch cold yet deliberate, sending a shiver down your spine.
"We’re not used to being dismissed," he continues, his voice unwavering and cold, yet there’s an underlying intensity. "Especially by someone with potential. Consider it a test—a way to prove you’re worth our attention. A challenge, if you will."
He leans in slightly, his breath cold against your ear. "If you prove yourself, the rewards may outweigh the risk," he says, his voice steady but carrying an unsettling weight. He pulls back, his gaze lingering on you for a moment longer before he turns to leave. "Until tomorrow night. Don’t take too long."
You watch him leave, your heart still pounding in your chest, the intensity of his presence lingering in the air. You hate that your body responded the way it did. Part of you feels intimidated, but there's also an undeniable temptation, a pull you can't seem to shake.
The next day, you're pacing your apartment, anxiety gnawing at you. The offer, the invitation, the mystery—it's all too much to ignore. Despite your better judgment, you're drawn to the dangerous allure of Illumi and Hisoka. By the time the sun sets, you've made up your mind.
You arrive at the mansion on the outskirts of town. The eerie quiet of the place sends a chill down your spine, but your curiosity pushes you forward. Inside, you spot Illumi waiting for you, his piercing gaze immediately locking onto yours.
"Well, well," he drawls, his voice like velvet. "Look who decided to join us. I must say, I'm impressed."
You stand tall, despite the nervous flutter in your stomach, meeting his gaze with a steely resolve. "Impressed by what exactly?" you ask, raising an eyebrow. "I must admit, I find your... choices somewhat intriguing." You don’t dare voice your true thoughts, though a part of you feels the pull of his presence.
Illumi chuckles softly, a sound that sends an involuntary shiver down your spine. "Oh, my dear," he purrs, his eyes dark with quiet amusement as he circles around you, "it’s not just my... choices that draw you in, is it?" His voice is smooth, dangerous, a predator’s calm before the hunt. "It’s the power I carry, the silent threat, the allure of what lies beneath the surface."
He steps even closer, so close you can feel the heat of his presence. Stopping behind you, he leans in, his breath grazing your ear. "But don’t worry," he murmurs, his fingers cold as they gently cup your chin, turning your head to face him. "I won’t hold it against you. In fact, I find your boldness... rather intriguing."
With a deliberate motion, he guides your chin to face him fully. His cold fingers send a shiver through you, contrasting with the warmth of his breath against your skin. "Shall we proceed?" he asks, his voice low, commanding, almost hypnotic.
You try to hold your ground, though it’s hard not to react to his proximity, to the way he takes control of the space between you. "Let’s get this over with," you say, your voice betraying a hint of unease, though you strive to sound unaffected. "Lead the way."
Illumi's grip tightens slightly, a silent reminder not to challenge him further. "As you wish," he responds, releasing your chin with a fluid motion before stepping back.
He leads you down the mansion’s corridors, each step echoing through the vast, silent halls. When you reach a heavy door, guarded by silent figures, Illumi unlocks it with a key, revealing the eerie blue light spilling from within.
"Welcome to our little sanctuary," Illumi announces. "Inside awaits an experience beyond your wildest imagination."
You step inside hesitantly, immediately feeling the weight of the atmosphere. The air is thick, pulsing with an almost tangible energy, and the blue light casts an ethereal glow over everything.
"What is this place?" you ask, your voice tight with uncertainty. "And who else is here?" You glance around, sensing eyes on you from the shadows, though you can’t make anyone out.
Illumi senses your unease and speaks with a calm, almost possessive tone. "This is a sanctum for those who appreciate the finer things in life," he explains, guiding you deeper into the room. "The company is... eclectic. But don’t worry, they mean no harm... for now."
He looks at you, his gaze unreadable. "As for the others, let's just say you've caught the attention of some very... interesting individuals." He places a hand on the small of your back, his touch sending a shiver down your spine. "We’ve been discussing the possibility of adding you to our little family."
Your breath catches. "Family?" you repeat, your voice wavering slightly. "I don’t even know what you do. I’m not sure I’m interested in joining your... family."
You glance around again, noticing how the shadows seem to shift, as if alive, watching you.
Illumi’s grip on your back tightens, his voice low and cold. "Oh, you’re already a part of it, whether you like it or not," he says, his tone calm yet firm. "Once you've crossed paths with us, there’s no turning back."
He leads you to a raised dais at the center of the room, motioning for you to sit. "Sit," he commands. "Now."
You obey, though the feeling in the room only grows heavier, more oppressive.
From the shadows, Hisoka emerges, a wicked grin on his face as he looks you over. "Well, well, look at our little bird perched so prettily," he says, his voice dripping with dark amusement. His gaze shifts to Illumi. "She looks like she belongs here, don't you think?"
You feel a shiver of dread as Hisoka's gaze locks onto you, his eyes gleaming with excitement. Part of you feels threatened, yet the way Illumi stands near you, his eyes fixed on Hisoka with a certain quiet possessiveness, makes you feel... somewhat protected.
Hisoka steps closer, his grin widening. "In a world full of mediocrity, we seek out the extraordinary," he says with a mocking tone. "And you, my dear, are a rare gem indeed."
Before you can respond, Illumi places a hand on Hisoka’s shoulder, signaling for him to stop. "Enough games," he says quietly, but with an edge to his voice. He turns back to you, his demeanor shifting to something more serious, yet still oddly intimate. "We’re not merely what people assume us to be. We are... curators of chaos, seekers of the sublime."
You listen to his words carefully, still trying to wrap your mind around everything. You're intrigued, but more than a little scared. There's so much you don't understand.
"So, what is it you want from me?" you ask, voice barely above a whisper. "What is your game? What are you, assassins?" You joke, but oh dear, their gaze tells you everything, and you freeze, realizing the truth of their job.
Illumi’s smile grew, a thin, calculating line that didn’t reach his eyes. "Assassins, mercenaries, enforcers—labels are irrelevant when you're dealing with the best of the best," he said, his voice a low purr. "We’re not concerned with ownership; we’re more interested in partnership."
Hisoka snorted, his grin widening. "Partnership implies equality, sweetheart, and you're nowhere near our level. But don’t worry, we’ll bring you up to speed."
Illumi placed a hand on your knee, his touch surprisingly gentle considering the deadly nature of their profession. "Think of it this way—you'll be part of an elite circle, operating on the fringes of society. No ordinary life for you anymore, my dear. Just the thrill of the unknown, the rush of adrenaline in the face of danger..."
Your heart pounds in your chest as you realize they are indeed assassins, and it troubles you more than you intended. You feel in danger here—there’s no way out. The mansion is full of people waiting for you to join their group, but... why?
As you overthink, staring at them intently, you suddenly realize something that terrifies you. You've heard of an assassin family—the Zoldycks—and you can't help but ask, a tremor running through you.
"Illumi... what's your full name?" You look at him, hoping for honesty, feeling tense and drawn to this dangerous man, almost seeking his comfort despite the fear bubbling inside you.
Illumi’s smile widened, a devilish glint in his eyes. "Ah, you've done your research," he purred, leaning in closer to you. "My full name is Illumi Zoldyck."
He watched your reaction intently, savoring the shock on your face. "Yes, I come from a long lineage of assassins," he continued, his voice low and hypnotic. I’m the shadow that moves unseen, the force that shapes outcomes without lifting a finger. I’m a master of control, an architect of fate—everything I touch bends to my will."
Hisoka chuckled darkly, interjecting, "And a total psycho, if you ask me." Illumi shot him a withering glare, but then focused back on you.
"But enough about us," Illumi said, his tone shifting to a more intimate cadence.
Your eyes widen at the revelation, a chill running down your spine. You knew about the Zoldycks, but never thought you would meet one, especially not one so close to you right now.
"A Zoldyck..." You mutter under your breath, trying to process the new information. You look at him, feeling a mix of fear and fascination as you’re drawn to him. "Why do you need me to be part of... your group?"
Illumi doesn't answer directly about your role in the organization, but he can’t help but feel drawn to you in a way his family wouldn't approve of. Though cold and calculating on the surface, there's something different when it comes to you. He won’t show this weakness, of course.
Illumi leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers as he regarded you with an unreadable expression. " Let’s just say... you’ll fit nicely into the framework we’re building. There’s always a place for the right person."," he replied cryptically.
Hisoka, ever the provocateur, couldn’t resist inserting himself into the conversation. "Yeah, she's got the spark, the fire in your belly. We could mold your into something truly exceptional."
Illumi’s gaze flicked to Hisoka, a warning glint in his eye before returning to you. "Of course, it’s not just about our needs. We believe you have potential—a latent talent waiting to be unleashed."
Hisoka paused, studying your reactions closely. "So, what do you say, my dear? Are you ready to embrace your destiny and become part of our little family?"
You swallow, feeling like a pawn in a game you don't fully understand. The allure of power, of being part of something bigger than yourself, is undeniable.
"I... I’ll think about it," you admit, your voice barely above a whisper, torn between fear and curiosity. You can't tear your eyes away from Illumi.
Hisoka, ever the provocateur, couldn’t resist inserting himself into the conversation. "Oh, my, you're torn between fear and curiosity? How delicious! I can't wait to see what you’ll choose... or maybe I just want to watch you squirm."
Illumi’s gaze flicked to Hisoka, a warning glint flashing briefly in his eyes before returning to you. There was an undeniable intensity in the way he looked at you, like he was considering you, weighing you, perhaps even contemplating something more. "Of course, it’s not just about our needs. We believe you have potential—a latent talent waiting to be unleashed."
Illumi rose from his seat, towering over you, his eyes boring into yours. "I’ll give you time until tomorrow night."
Afterward, you head home, your mind consumed by everything that happened. As you think, your thoughts drift to Illumi.
As you departed, Hisoka called after you, his voice echoing through the mansion's grand halls. "Don’t take too long, darling! We’re eager to see what you'll become!"
Illumi, meanwhile, remained standing, his piercing gaze following you until you disappeared from view. Once alone, he allowed himself a fleeting moment of introspection, his thoughts drifting to the enigmatic woman he had encountered.
Despite his usual composure, there was an unfamiliar warmth simmering within him, a sensation he couldn’t quite define. Illumi pushed the feeling aside, focusing instead on the task at hand—molding you into the perfect asset for their organization.
The next evening, as planned, Illumi awaited your arrival, his demeanor as cool and collected as ever.
You arrive at the mansion, nervous and troubled by the decision you just made. As you step inside, you see Illumi standing there, looking calm and collected as always. Your heartbeat quickens.
Illumi greeted you with a nod, his eyes assessing your appearance and demeanor. "You've decided, then?" he asked matter-of-factly, his voice devoid of emotion. "Come, let's discuss the details of your new role."
Without awaiting a response, Illumi turned abruptly, his movements deliberate and fluid as he led you deeper into the mansion. His steps echoed in the silent corridors, and you couldn't help but feel the weight of his presence, like he was drawing you into a world you weren't sure you were ready for. The maze of corridors felt endless, each turn more isolating than the last.
"I assume you have some experience with combat, " Illumi said, his voice low, almost assessing. His gaze lingered on you for a moment too long, a subtle but deliberate scrutiny. "We'll start with a physical test. I want to see what you're capable of. "
As Illumi finished speaking, the door creaked open behind you, and Hisoka leaned in casually, his grin widening as he sized you up. 'Well, well,' he purred, 'Let’s see if our recruit lives up to the Zoldyck legacy. "
Following Illumi, your pulse quickens, a mix of nervousness and something else, something unfamiliar. The door to the training room swings open, and the cold gleam of weapons lining the walls hits you like a slap. This was no ordinary training facility—it was a shrine to death, and you were about to become a part of it.
I... yes, I have some combat experience,' you reply, trying to sound confident, but your voice betrays a hint of uncertainty. His gaze, slow and deliberate, traces over you—making you feel both exposed and oddly... seen. You force yourself to stand tall, though your heart races under the weight of his scrutiny.
You notice Hisoka observing you with keen interest, his grin widening as he watches your interaction with Illumi.
With a deep breath, you brace yourself, feeling Illumi’s eyes still on you, studying, calculating. His nod is almost imperceptible, yet his gaze remains sharp and intense, like a predator’s. 'Let’s start with something simple—agility, reflexes. Show me what you can do.' His words, though neutral, hang heavy in the air, a silent challenge."
He pointed to the obstacles ahead—hurdles, balance beams, pendulums swinging with mechanical precision. 'Your task is simple,' Illumi said, his voice calm but firm, 'Cross without making a mistake. Only the ground should feel your weight. Understood?'"
Before you could respond, Hisoka chimed in, "And remember, sweetie, speed and precision are key! Show us what you're made of!"
Illumi glanced at Hisoka, his expression a sharp mix of annoyance and something else—something colder. But he didn’t waste words. His gaze snapped back to you, every ounce of his attention now fixed on your every move. "On my count," he instructed, raising his hand. "Three... two... one..."
You nod, taking a moment to observe the obstacles before you. Your mind races with strategies and tactics, trying to decide the best approach.
As Illumi starts counting down, you spring into action, moving swiftly across the floor. You leap over the hurdles, balancing carefully on the narrow beams, and dodging the swinging pendulums with quick reflexes.
Halfway through, you feel a surge of adrenaline, pushing you to move even faster. With a final leap, you land safely on the ground, panting lightly.
Wiping the sweat from your brow, you look up at Illumi and Hisoka waiting.
Illumi watched your performance with a critical eye, noting your speed, agility, and overall technique. When you finished, he gave a slight nod of approval. "Not bad. You managed to complete the course without major errors."
Hisoka, on the otherhand, was practically bouncing with excitement, clapping his hands togetyour gleefully. "Bravo, bravo! What a delightful display of athleticism! I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed."
Illumi raised an eyebrow at his friend's exuberance but turned his attention back to you. "Next, we'll assess your marksmanship skills. Follow me."
Without a word, Illumi turned, leading you to a shooting range tucked in a quiet corner of the room. The stark silence of the space was almost oppressive, broken only by the faint sound of your breath. 'Prove your worth,' he said coldly, 'Handguns, rifles, knives. Show me what you can do.
You follow Illumi to the shooting range, feeling a mix of confidence and trepidation. You’ve handled guns before, but not in a formal setting like this. Nodding, you select a handgun first. Illumi helps you check the weight and grip before you aim at the target, his touch on your hand making you unfocused for a second. Taking a deep breath, you squeeze the trigger, hitting the center of the bullseye. Next, you move on to the rifle, your aim steady and true as you fire off round after round, each bullet finding its mark except one. Finally, you pick up a knife, flipping it expertly between your fingers before demonstrating your throwing skills. The blade embeds itself in the wood of the target.
Illumi observed your performance with a calculating gaze, his expression unreadable. When you completed the tests, he stepped closer, inspecting the target results.
"Decent accuracy with the handgun and rifle," he remarked, "but room for improvement. That stray shot could’ve been fatal in a real-world scenario."
Hisoka, however, seemed entirely unbothered by the minor flaw. "Pfft, a single miss? Hardly a concern, darling! With practice, you’ll be hitting your marks every time."
Turning to you, Illumi continued, "Your knife work is satisfactory, though perhaps a bit flashy for our purposes. We prefer subtlety and efficiency in our assassins."
He paused, studying you intently. "Overall, you demonstrate potential, but you still lack the polish and discipline required for our organization."
You listen to Illumi's critique, a small part of you stung by the criticism, but you push that aside, focusing on his words of guidance instead.
"Okay." You nodded. His cold, enigmatic demeanor makes you so aware of your surroundings.
Illumi's gaze lingered on you for a moment longer before he nodded curtly. "Very well. We'll continue your training tomorrow. For now, rest and prepare yourself mentally for the challenges ahead."
With that, he turned and wanting to leave, leaving you alone with Hisoka. The latter grinned at you, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Don’t worry about old Illi’s harsh words, sweetheart. He’s just trying to whip you into shape."
Hisoka sauntered closer, his presence overwhelming in its intensity. "I, on the otherhand, think you’re perfect just the way you are. Though I do hope you’ll indulge me in a few... extracurricular activities tonight."
He leaned in, his hot breath tickling your ear as he whispered, "I have a feeling you’d look stunning drenched in blood."
With that, Illumi shot Hisoka a glare, making him leave. Hisoka already knows that his friend Illumi is interested in you, but he doesn’t say it directly. Illumi doesn’t understand why he’s drawn to you—the cold, calculating, and emotionless man on the surface. He can’t help but make you squirm and tease you in his own way, but he mostly focuses on the mission ahead.
Illumi’s glare held a clear warning, and Hisoka knew better than to push furtyour. With a playful smirk, he bowed mockingly before turning on his heel and departing, leaving you alone once more with the enigmatic assassin leader.
Illumi returned his attention to you, his expression unreadable. "Tomorrow, we will focus on strategic thinking and adaptability. Be prepared to face unpredictable scenarios."
Without another word, he dismissed you, his actions as abrupt as they were efficient. As you exited the training room, you couldn't shake the sensation that Illumi's interest in you went beyond mere professionalism—but the cryptic nature of their interactions left you unsure how to interpret his intentions.
Later that night, Illumi entered your quarters without awaiting an invitation, his usual composed façade slipping for the briefest moment as he took in your appearance. The fleeting flash of desire in his eyes earlier seemed to intensify in this intimate setting, and despite his attempts to suppress it, he couldn’t ignore the pull.
"I trust you're resting adequately," he stated, his voice low and measured. "Tomorrow, we'll be engaging in close-quarters combat drills. Your agility serves you well, but you must learn to harness your strength more effectively."
As he spoke, Illumi’s gaze roamed over your form, lingering just a moment longer than necessary, his eyes tracing the curves of your body beneath your attire. The air between you thickened, heavy with an unspoken tension. It was a strange feeling, as though his usually tight control was slipping—something more primal simmered beneath the surface.
"Remember," his voice trailed off, his eyes still lingering on you as he tried to steady his breath. You can practically feel the heat radiating from his body as he stands closer, his presence overwhelming in the small space.
You swallow, trying to maintain composure under his intense gaze. His voice is cold and calculated, but you can’t ignore the thrill that runs through you at the sound of it. You nod, acknowledging his instructions about the upcoming training session.
The air between you both feels electric, charged with something neityour of you can fully control. As Illumi draws closer, his proximity seems to suffocate you, making it harder to breathe. Your senses heighten as he stands just a little too close, a small distance remaining between you—but not enough to ignore the intensity of his presence.
Illumi’s internal struggle was evident. His disciplined assassin’s mind was still sharp, but it was no match for the growing pull of his desires. He had been raised to control everything, to compartmentalize every part of himself—sexuality included. Yet, for some reason, you seemed to be different. This thought frustrated him; he couldn’t allow such feelings to complicate matters. But even as he thought this, his body betrayed him.
Illumi’s gaze darkened as his fingers tightened at his sides. He clenched his jaw, struggling to maintain control.
"Illumi...?" You look at him, hating yourself for the way your body seems to lean toward him. His presence is consuming, and despite your attempts to fight it, you find yourself wanting him closer.
Illumi’s resolve cracked under the weight of his desires, his stoic mask slipping away. A low growl rumbled in his throat as he closed the space between you, his hands reaching out to pull you flush against his hardened body. His touch was rough, possessive.
"You should not intrigue me so," he hissed, his breath hot against your ear. "It complicates things unnecessarily."
But despite his words, his hands remained on you, his fingers pressing possessively into your waist, his body hard against yours. The hunger in his eyes was unmistakable, an animalistic hunger he could no longer suppress.
Your breath caught in your throat as his arms wrapped around you, pulling you tightly against his muscular frame. The danger he embodies is palpable, but it only draws you closer, your body betraying your better judgment. You can feel the pulse of his heartbeat, the heat radiating from him, and yet, you can’t pull away.
His words, laced with frustration and desire, hung heavy in the air. You can sense the internal battle he’s fighting, the need to keep control clashing with something far more primal. You can practically feel the tension between you, the undeniable pull that neityour of you wants to acknowledge.
"I could say the same thing," you whisper, your voice barely audible, yet the words seem to carry a weight of their own.
Illumi’s grip tightened on you, his thumbs brushing along the sensitive skin of your lower back as he ground his body against yours. "Then perhaps we should indulge in these... complications," he purred, his voice dripping with dark promise.
With swift, practiced movements, he spun you around, pinning you against the wall. His lips crashed onto yours in a fierce, demanding kiss. His tongue forced its way into your mouth, claiming you with a ferocity that left you breathless. His hands roamed over your body, exploring every curve, every inch of you as though he couldn’t get enough.
The intensity of his passion overwhelmed you, leaving you gasping for air. You clung to him, returning his kiss with equal desperation, lost in the whirlwind of sensations, pleasure, and danger that only he could provide.
You gasp as Illumi’s kiss deepens, his dominance taking over as he pulls you closer, his movements quick and forceful. The danger and excitement mix within you, the fear of what might happen next blending with a yearning you can’t deny.
His skilled tongue dances with yours, igniting a fire within you that spreads throughout your entire being, you moan softly into the kiss, surrendering to the overwhelming sensations. Ilumi's hands explore your body with a hunger that mirrors your own, leaving trails of tingling pleasure in their wake, you arch into his touch, craving more of his intoxicating caresses.
Illumi's lips left yours, trailing scorching kisses along your jawline and down the column of your neck, his teeth grazing your sensitive skin as he nipped and sucked at the tender flesh.
One hand slid beneath your shirt, palming the soft mound of your breast as he continued his assault on your senses. His thumb flicked over your nipple, coaxing it to peak before pinching gently, drawing a sharp gasp from your lips.
"We shouldn't rush this," Illumi breathed, his hot exhalation fanning across your damp skin. "But I fear my restraint is wearing thin." His fingers deftly unfastened your pants, sliding inside to stroke the slick heat of your core. "Tell me to stop, if you dare."
You barely register the sound of your pants being undone until his fingers slip inside, stroking your already drenched folds, making your knees buckle slightly, you can believe this the composed assassin Illumi you know, but you can’t help but feel aroused by him/
Illumi's fingers delved deeper, curling inside you to stroke your inner walls with a practiced ease that belied his typically reserved nature, his voice a low rumble filled with dark satisfaction. "Your body knows exactly what it craves, doesn't it?"
As he spoke, he added a second finger, stretching and filling your with a slow, deliberate rhythm. The wet sounds of their intimacy mingled with your ragged breathing, creating a lewd symphony that only served to fuel Illumi's desire. Though Illumi was never one for excessive words, but in this moment, he can’t help, his voice brough
"You should see yourself now," he whispered, his eyes locked onto yours as he worked your tighter. "So compliant, so eager for more. It's almost...beautiful." With a sudden twist of his wrist, he found that secret spot deep within your, sending shockwaves of pleasure coursing through your veins.
You cry out, unable to contain the intense pleasure, your back arches. The way he is so talkative, speaks so confident, so hynoptic, sends a thrill through you, even as a part of you wonders how he can be so bold, so unashamed of his desires.
“Illumi…” you gasp as you grind further on you his hand.
"Yes?" Illumi purred, his fingers never ceasing their relentless pace as he sought to unravel you completely. "What is it you desire, little assassin? Speak, and I might grant your request."
He leaned in close, his lips brushing the shell of your ear as he whispered, "Perhaps you’d prefer to break under my control, against the wall, with nothing but the sound of how you crumble to my mercy?" You gasp at his filthy words, your eyes widen of this part of him, almost possessive.
Illumi's free hand slid up your side, his palm sizzling against your overheated skin as he cupped your breast, kneading the soft flesh roughly. "Or maybe you yearn for something more...depraved?" His thumb circled your nipple, tugging it into a tight peak that sent jolts of electricity straight to your clit.
Your breath hitches as Illumi’s words paint vivid images in your mind, each one more tantalizing than the last, his touch is addicitive, possesive, every caress igniting a fresh wave of desire within you, making you tremble.
Illumi's fingers picked up speed, plunging in and out of your quivering channel with a ruthless precision that bordered on violent, he groaned "I wonder how many times I could make you cum before you collapse from exhaustion."
He grind on your behind, bitting down on your shoulder, hard enough to leave a mark, as his other hand slipped beneath your shirt once more. His nails scraped across your ribs, leaving red welts in their wake, before he reached your breasts. Rough palms squeezed and kneaded the supple mounds, tweaking your nipples into stiff peaks that throbbed in time with the pounding of your heart.
"Illumi, please... "you manage to gasp out, your voice barely above a whimper.
"Yes, what?" Illumi demanded, his tone sharp with impatience. "Speak clear, Y/N"
His fingers curled inside your, rubbing that sweet spot with a maddening persistence. "Do you want me to fuck you harder? Deeper? Make you scream my name until your throat is raw?"
His fingers plunge deeper, faster, the brutal rhythm threatening to consume you whole. you can feel the coil of tension building within, making you close to your climax.
You start screaming, feeling how your orgasm wash over you and with a swift movement, not letting you relax, he spun you around making you gasp, pressing your back against the cold metal of the wall, the rough surface provides a stark contrast to the heated, intimate contact of his body pressed against yours as you gasp. One hand gripped your hip, holding your steady as the other fumbled with his belt, freeing his throbbing erection.
"I’ve decided I’m going to take what I want. Now," his tone sharp, positioning himself at your entrance.
His words are filthy, depraved, and they only serve to stoke the flames of your arousal higher, you can feel his hardness prodding at your entrance, a thick, pulsating promise of the pleasure to come.
“Yes, Illumi, fuck…please“ you admit breathlessly, your resolve crumbling under his touch and words.
With a feral snarl, Illumi surged forward, sheathing himself to the hilt in one powerful thrust. You cried out, your back arching as you felt him stretch your open, the sensation bordering on pain but suffused with overwhelming pleasure.
“So willing” Illumi hissed, his hips snapping against yours in a relentless rhythm. "This is what you needed, isn't it? I want to hear you admit it.”
“Yes…” You nodd desperately, feeling so intense and trembeling.
“Good. “" He leaned in close, his lips brushing yours as he spoke, his hot breath mingling with yours. "And I'm going to give it to you over and over again, until you're begging for mercy."
A strangled moan escapes your lips as Ilumi fills you completely, the feeling of being so thoroughly claimed sending shockwaves of ecstasy through your entire being.
Each forceful thrust drives you closer to the edge, the friction of his hard length against your sensitive inner walls pushing you towards a precipice from which there's no return.
“yes.. Iillumi please, “you pant out, your voice a broken, pleading thing as you lose yourself in the relentless pace of his hips.
"Please what,Y/N?" Illumi taunted, his start gripping your throat slightly, moving your head towards him, as he drove into your with renewed vigor. "Tell me what you need, what filthy things you want me to do to you."
He captured your mouth in a bruising kiss, swallowing your moans as his tongue dominated yours. At the same time, his fingers found your clit, pinching and rolling the sensitive bud with merciless precision.
"Come," he commanded, breaking the kiss to nip at your jawline. As if in response to his words, your orgasm crashed over your like a tidal wave, ripping your apart and rebuilding your anew in its aftermath. You screamed his name, your voice echoing off the walls as your pussy clamped down on his shaf.
Your mind goes blank as the intense waves of pleasure wash over you, Ilumi's relentless stimulation pushing you past the point of no return.
Your screams mingle with the sounds of flesh slapping against flesh, the obscene squelch of your arousal coating his cock as he continues to pound into you even as you come undone.
Ilumi's command hangs in the air, a dark challenge that only serves to heighten your awareness of his own impending climax, you can feel him twitching inside you, his grip on your hips becoming almost painful as he struggles to hold back and you push into him more so you can help him.
With a guttural roar, Illumi buried himself to the hilt one final time, his cock pulsing as he unleashed a torrent of hot seed deep within your spasming depths. Each powerful spurt seemed to go on forever, painting your insides with his essence until you are filled to bursting.
As the aftershocks of your shared climax subsided, Illumi slowly withdrew, his softening member slipping free of your abused hole with a wet pop. A trail of cum dripped down your thigh, a visible testament to the thorough breeding you just received.
"Well, that was satisfying," Illumi murmured, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction as he admired his handiwork.
His sharp eyes studied you for a moment, his stance unwavering. "You’re in no condition to keep standing like this."
Before you could spleak, he moved swiftly, placing a firm hand at your back to guide you toward the bed. His touch, though not gentle, was steady and unyielding. "Lie down," he commanded, his voice a low murmur.
You feel utterly exhausted, your body spent, yet vulnerable—vulnerable in a way you never thought you would be with a Zoldyck. The fear lingers that it was just a fleeting, intimate moment for him, and you long for the comfort of aftercare. You're conflicted, unable to predict his next reaction, fully aware of his cold, enigmatic, and stoic nature.
You look at him, unable to control the vulnerability in your expression. You can’t help but wonder, despite his personality and history, if you’ve become important to him—though it doesn't show on the surface.
Illumi’s gaze softened, if only for a heartbeat, as he took in your vulnerable expression. It was the briefest of cracks in his otyourwise impenetrable facade—a fleeting flicker of something raw, something human beneath his usual cold exterior.
Without a word, his fingers brushed over the marks on your neck, a touch so delicate it almost felt alien—so different from the relentless passion they had just shared. The contact was soft, almost tentative, sending a shiver through you, who couldn’t help but feel the weight of this quiet intimacy.
But just as quickly as it had appeared, the tenderness faded, replaced once more by his usual aloofness. "Get dressed," he said sharply, his voice regaining its customary chill. With his usual precision, he began to gatyour his discarded clothes, a stoic figure once more. "We have matters to attend to."
Your heart skips a beat at the brief, unexpected softness in his eyes—a connection so fleeting, so fragile, that it leaves you aching for more. But the moment evaporates as swiftly as it came, and you’re left questioning if it was ever truly there or just a brief illusion, a crack in the facade that closed too soon.
Can… you stay a little longer? you ask, a quiet uncertainty in your voice, hesitant of how he’ll respond.
Illumi freezes for a moment at your request, his assassin’s discipline momentarily faltering. The connection between you is something unfamiliar, something he hasn’t had to process before. His mind is caught between his hardened, emotionally detached instincts and the surprising intensity of the bond you're offering.
Illumi paused, his hand hovering just above his shirt as he considered your words. The room grew heavy with the tension of his contemplation. Finally, without a word, he sat down on the bed, his posture rigid, but not dismissive. He was clearly weighing something—something beyond his control.
"You want me to stay," he said flatly, his voice cold but with a slight edge of curiosity. His eyes never left yours. "Is that because you enjoyed our...interlude? Or is it something else entirely?"
There was a flicker of vulnerability in his gaze, a brief crack in his impassive exterior that he quickly masked. It was evident that You’s unexpected emotional intimacy had caught him off guard, forcing him to confront feelings and desires that he had never fully acknowledged before.
Your heart races as you watch Illumi sit, his presence overwhelming, as always, but now more than ever, it pulls you in despite the tension between you. His words cut through you, making your emotions feel more tangled, and you realize just how much you’ve invested in this moment—how much you’ve allowed yourself to feel.
"Yes... and no, " you admit softly, your voice barely above a whisper, stepping closer, but still unsure.
You reach out, pausing, as if to test the waters, before carefully placing your hand on his knee. A quiet hope stirs within you—that this small touch, this tentative gesture, might offer the reassurance both of you are craving.
Illumi’s muscles stiffen at your touch, a sharp breath escaping his lips as your fingers make contact. For a long moment, he doesn’t move, just staring at where your hand rests on his knee, as though trying to process the strange new feelings this simple connection stirs within him.
Slowly, cautiously, he places his hand over yours. His touch is deliberate, firm, and warm, but there’s a hesitation in it—a carefulness that reflects how much he’s struggling with the emotions that you’ve brought to the surface. "I see," he says quietly, his voice low, but there’s a shift in it. "In that case, I suppose I can spare a few more minutes."
Illumi stands, his hand hovering briefly before he reaches for you. When he pulls you into his arms, the gesture is stiff, almost as if he’s testing how to navigate this unfamiliar territory. His arms wrap around you, but the embrace feels tentative, as though he’s still unsure of what to do with the warmth he’s suddenly feeling.
In the stillness of that moment, Illumi’s heart races in his chest, the thundering beat a stark contrast to the icy calm he’s always projected, betraying the chaos he’s desperately trying to suppress.
As Illumi pulls you into his arms, a sense of calm washes over you. His warmth is solid and grounding, a stark contrast to the heat and chaos of your previous encounter. You rest your head against his shoulder, savoring the closeness—the simple, quiet connection that feels like it might be more than just physical.
Though your emotions swirl within you, you keep them in check, not wanting to overwhelm him. Instead, you focus on the steady rise and fall of his chest, the soothing sound of his heartbeat that seems to anchor you both in this rare moment of peace.
"Thank you," you whisper, your voice barely audible over the pounding of your own heart.
Illumi’s arms tightened around you, holding you tight. The soft pressure of his body against yours was a sensation he hadn’t known before, and it both unsettled and captivated him.
"For what, exactly?" Illumi asks, his voice cool, but with a subtle hint of curiosity. "I'm not used to such gestures. Explain to me, why do you feel the need for this?"
But even as he spoke, Illumi didn’t pull away. Instead, his body stiffened for a moment before he leaned in, his lips brushing your temple in a brief, but telling gesture. It was a small act, a flicker of something he rarely allowed himself to show—soft, but unmistakably affectionate. It wasn’t much, but in that fleeting touch, something subtly shifted between them, a crack in the ice that had always surrounded him.
The press of his lips against your temple sent an unexpected shiver down your spine. The tenderness of the gesture, despite his usual stoicism, made you ache for more. You leaned into him, feeling a warmth spread through you, and for a moment, you allowed yourself to savor the intimacy that had quietly bloomed between you, fragile but undeniably real.
"For being here," you reply softly, your voice tinged with vulnerability. "For trying, even if it’s not something you're used to."
"Don’t get used to this," he murmurs, his tone strangely quiet, almost as if he's speaking to himself, not wanting to admit the slight shift inside him.
Illumi’s grip on you relaxed just slightly, his thumb stroking gentle circles on your back. Your words, simple as they were, had touched something within him. "Trying," he muttered, his brow furrowing slightly. "Perhaps that's an understatement for what we’ve done. But with you… it feels different. Necessary, almost."
He trailed off, his words unspoken, but the emotion behind them clear. Illumi was used to being distant, to keeping his feelings locked away. But with you, that wall had started to crumble—piece by piece, allowing something deeper to emerge.
Your heart swells at Illumi’s honesty, his words a raw admission that makes you feel even more connected to him. You press yourself closer, wanting to bridge the emotional gap between you, to share in the understanding that seems to be growing between you both.
"I feel the same, Illumi," you whisper, your voice sincere and filled with unspoken understanding.
Illumi's breath caught in his throat at your words. The sincerity in your voice reverberated through him, stirring something deep he wasn't prepared for. For years, he'd hardened himself against the idea of emotional connections—intimacy had always been something distant, too complicated to allow. But with you, the tension was palpable, like something he couldn’t push away, something he wasn’t sure how to control.
Slowly, almost reluctantly, he leaned down, his lips brushing against yours in a kiss that was gentle, but with an intensity that spoke volumes. It was a stark contrast to the fierceness of their earlier encounter, but somehow, it felt more consuming—this kiss was softer, but it lingered with a weight he couldn’t ignore. It felt different, like a shift, like something he couldn't quite put into words.
As the kiss deepened, Illumi became painfully aware of every touch—your body pressed against his, the softness of your skin, the way your breath matched his, shallow but steady. Every movement seemed to pull him in deeper, and for once, Illumi couldn't escape it. The intensity of the moment overwhelmed him, but it was a feeling he found himself craving—something he hadn't realized he'd been missing until now.

YES I ABSOLUTELY CAN !! I've been waiting for a main 4 request !! I CAN FINALLY POST intrams r coming to a close so praise the lord 🙌 I promise I am working yall

⊹₊⋆ Lovey-Dovey!ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
⊹₊⋆ Gn!Reader x K.Zoldyck, G.Freecss, L.Paradinight, K.Kurtaᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
༉‧₊˚. Start !༉‧₊˚.

༉‧₊˚. Killua Zoldyck !ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
• Let's start with some pre-dating head canons !
• Honestly, seeing Killua's personality, he'd be really low-key about it and casual for some reason..
• You literally wouldn't think he likes you to that extent, but your label as his "best friend" Says numbers to him.
• Killua definitely confessed during his vulnerable moments, having a solemn and sad expression as he spoke. "The way you treat me compares to no other, but.. With my background, can I really be with someone so pure?"
• His words left you perplexed. What did his words mean at this current situation? "What are you saying..?" You mumbled with a raised eyebrow.
• "I'm saying I like you." Killua mumbles, a tint of irritation and vulnerability in his tone as he sighs.
• Post-dating head canons !
• The whole week you've been dating, everything was low-key. You were both casual with hints of romantic teasing gestures from him.
• Killua isn't the clingy or touchy type, but he'd always snake an arm around your shoulder and let you lean your body against his if he wants to feel your presence.
• Additionally, if he's feeling protective or in a scenario where you guys are in an unknown territory, he'll hold your hand and guide you.
• Killua isn't also the one to say direct praise, since he's known for not saying a simple gratitude to his friends, so he just gives you a small smile or nod of acknowledgement.
• The ways he shows his affection– is simply with the small actions he does. Whether it's the smallest. Placing a hand on your back and rubbing it, making you link your arm in his, and other stuff.
• Also, Killua absolutely LOVES admiring your expression or your appearance in general. His favorite thing to constantly look at? Your eyes. He probably thinks it's super cliche, but; he's simply a sucker for em. He loves seeing your true feelings and the bright shine of your eyes, it makes him fall for you again and again.
• His favorite activities he loves doing with you is probably just to spend quality time. Walking around the forest, sitting around a bond fire with your group, and more. That's his ideal.
• While Killua isn't verbal about his affection, you can easily tell that this boy is deeply in love with you and your whole being.

⊹₊⋆ Gon Freecss !ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
• Gon is and would probably be the clingy type AT THE RIGHT TIME.
• He vocalizes his feelings a lot! Even an idiot would know that you're his beloved!
• "yn!! How're you doing?! Hope you're doing great!! I love you a bunch!" That's almost your wakeup call at this point.
• Pre-dating scenarios !!
• With how sweetly he treats other people in general, you assume that in a scenario where Gon is in a relationship he won't be that serious.
• But ohhh boy were you proved wrong when he confessed.
• "Did you know? I really like you. You're an amazing person.. You're super nice and everything, so uh.." He sheepishly confessed, rubbing his nape with a soft smile on his face.
• He seemed so genuine with his words, and we all know that Gon is honestly such a bad liar.
• Post Dating head canons !!
• my GOD does this boy give random trinkets.
• Oh he saw a flower while Killua and he was walking? Boom, flower crown. Oh he found a twig that formed into a heart shape? Boom it's in your possessions now.
• In contrast to everyone, Gon's super adventurous; his favorite activities he'd do with you is to travel around the world, a more realistic idea is travel to a place where you both haven't gone to yet.
• Gon isn't all that clingy as well, again– Gon is pretty clingy at the right time.
• The said "right time" is where he sees you after such a long time. Pulling you into a long and warm hug with hushed words of assurance from your tongue, Gon feels absolutely loved.
• He loves your whole being so much, he'll absolutely cherish every moment with you.
• His favorite thing about you isss I would say.. Your emotions, probably. Your emotions are his kinda! Seeing you down, he's also down. Seeing you happy brings a bright smile to his face, and he'll relish every happy moment with you.
• Gon will always and never forget to say a reminder that he'll forever love you to his heart's content. He'll never fail to voice his feelings, why would he? He knows you love him as well, and the affection he has for you is immeasurable.

༉‧₊˚. Kurapika Kurta !ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
• Ouu this guy.. He irritates me to no end.
• He is SO quiet with his feelings and he's so naturally distant, naturally you'd also distance yourself from him.
• Why would you even try?! Clearly, he's "uninterested" And wants to keep things casual. Of course, this pains you because you really want to take things higher.
• Months passed, he started growing busy with his job as a Bounty Hunter. You thought you could use this as an opportunity to move on!
• But y'know what they say. Distance makes the heart grow fonder.
• Both sides missed each other dearly, with no one to chat with and share their inner feelings, yn soon grows lonely.
• With no one to listen to and have no company of the one he trusts the most, Kurapika grew regretful.
• When they both met again, Kurapika didn't hesitate to cup your hands ever so gently with a look of subtle desperation in his eyes.
• "yn.." He softly calls, his voice was like a thousand melodies that sang only for your ears to hear. His expression was so very vulnerable, it made you love him more.
• "I'm so sorry." He apologizes, removing his hands from yours and gently pulling you into a hug, placing a firm yet soft hand on your scalp and having an arm wrapped around your shoulder.
• Everything escalated from there, and in a hypothetical situation, you became a Bounty Hunter too! ( if you had no plans for the other Hunter titles )
• His favorite activities to do with you is to lounge around, read a book with your fingers intertwined and have you leaning on him for support.
• With you, Kurapika believes he can achieve the life he wants. After gathering the scarlet eyes of his clan.
• Kurapika's loyalty lies with you and no one else, rest assured. He can forever guarantee your safety if you're with him.
• Similarly to Killua, Kurapika isn't vocal about his affection. But he would whisper a soft "I love you." And a "I'm sorry I can't be there for you."
• Kurapika is known to be really distant, so you have to be patient with him. And he loves you so dearly. Imagine loving someone so hard to love? Kurapika believes he was truly blessed to have a significant other like you.
• His favorite thing about you is your voice, no doubt. He can listen to your emotions even when he has his eyes closed.
• Kurapika isn't one to trust easily, so seeing him close his eyes to listen to you?? It's an achievement. He's basically lowering his guard and trusting you with his life in a literal sense!
• Additionally, he loves watching you do your hobbies. The way your lips form into a smile filled with purity, the complete opposite of what he does. The way your laugh sounds like an elegant butterfly garden– it was a weird way to explain it. But in other words; ethereal.
• You'll forever, and I mean EVER be the love of his life, the light of his life, his everything. He'll sacrifice a lot for you, and that's a given.

⊹₊⋆ Leorio Paradinight !ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
• Ah, yes. This man.
• Low-key? Not in his vocabulary. He likes you? Oh it's painfully obvious– well I mean it's not like he's trying to hide it, really..
• It's amazing how you two clicked! Leorio with his very odd-feminist tendencies is... Eh.
• But hey! You two worked it up in the end, and he's madly in love with you. That's great, really!
• Leorio LOVES to flaunt you off. "Look at them! My gorgeous soul mate!" He exclaims with heart eyes, leaving you baffled at his volume and growing embarrassed at the amount of looks you're getting.
• Yeah! He always says an exaggerated "I love you!" In many instances, Leorio will alwayssss give you a lil smooch somewhere on the face.
• Honestly, Leorio isn't ashamed at all. Why would he? He'll freely show his affection to the one he views his soul mate– someone who is destined to be bound to each other.
• Despite Leorio's reputation, he's quite a gentleman. He's willing to sacrifice a lot of his time for you, and mind you– time is crucial for medic students.
• He respects your boundaries more than anyone else's. If he accidentally crosses the line with one of them, he'll give a genuine apology and makes it clear that those weren't his intentions at all.
• Leorio's favorite activity to do with you varies– he lovesss taking you out on small lil dates, like library dates to just sit in silence and bask in each other's presence, or an extraordinary one where he'll take you to a club and have fun.
• He ends up passing out drunk leaving you to take care of him and listen to his endless complaints the next morning– but he repays you by being extra nicer the next day.
• His favorite thing about you would be– well, your torso. NOT IN THAT WAY.
• It's simply his favorite because he can easily snake his arms around you despite your size.
• He's.. Well, clingy. He loves lovesss having his hands around you. He refuses to keep his hands to himself if you're around.
• But all in all, Leorio's a great person. He's willing to drop everything he has to heal you if you're in pain or try to find something for you. He's that committed, I promise.

Hi ! Can I request a famous cook reader with Kurapika,Killua,Gon and Feitan?
HXH W/ a FamousCook!Reader

Characters: Gon Freecs, Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika Kurta, Feitan Portor Type: Headcanons, Gn!Reader
I FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE GRADIENT TEXT OH YEAH
Warnings: none
Gon Freecs & Killua Zoldyck
these kids literally beg you to cook for them all the time
they both can eat a LOT; they're growing boys and your food is good so you can't blame them
every time you are available there is a new food request and you would be evil to tell these sweet boys no especially when they ask you so nicely >:(
if Killua actually liked his family he'd hire you to be a personal in home chef
the white haired boy probs likes to brag about you to Leorio (or anyone else who will listen, really)
he just likes the eating part but Gon on the other hand can be a big help
he will go out and find the freshest ingredients for you every time he has a request because he is such a sweetheart
you need fish? he will go catch some for you. you need a very specific herb that only grows on the side of high cliffs? gear up Killua, they're going rock climbing
Kurapika Kurta
he never really cared much about cooking and saw it more as a chore if anything
before meeting you that is
he's not the best cook and knows enough to get by and survive; meaning he doesn't really pay much mind to taste
but when he tries your cooking for the first time; a well renowned PROFESSIONAL; he cannot go back
like no wonder why your famous this shit is DELECTABLE
he may ask you politely to cook for him every blue moon but he usually waits until you offer or show up with something new for him to try
since you both are usually busy with work, most of the time when you use him as a guinea pig for new recipes its in your restaurant's kitchen, way after closing
it's almost like it becomes your guys' weekly date night ^__^
Feitan Portor
another one who only cooks for survival and still barely knows what he's doing..
pls don't let him anywhere near the kitchen he will burn the entire building down
he is only allowed to watch from a safe distance. do not let him near any kitchen appliance.
if he REALLY wants to help though maybe he can chop veggies or something
the guy really knows how to use a knife...
you probably have to cook for him all the time if you care about him getting enough nutrition because this guy probably just survives off of packaged stuff

If Gon wasn’t stubborn enough, there was you.
You originally planned a date both of you could enjoy while watching the sunset near strip of beach. You got ready, all excited until your boyfriend (who was some place else) decided to send a message saying he was gonna have to cancel for his own reasons being, not able to make it in time.
You weren’t gonna let that happen were you?
Texting him back, you typed that if he isn’t home by the time you both were supposed to leave, you weren’t going to talk to him. Childish behavior? Definitely. But even after planning it for so long, you weren’t gonna let him ruin the night. No doubt about it.
little did you know... you did end up not talking to him. In better words— ignoring him.
The black haired boy knew he messed up the second he came home to find you no where. He tried to get ahold of you, texting and calling only to realize that you were staying at your parents house. avoiding him.
2 days went by without seeing him and slowly, you were losing hope that he would apologize. You finally decided to be mature about the situation and come back home since you’ve grown tired of acting upset towards him. When you did, the first thing you saw was a big bouquet of flowers, and goodies being surrounded by balloons.
You smiled and looked over at the boy, standing nervously. “I know I messed up so I wanted to make up for it! I hope you can forgive me”
you rushed towards him, arms on either side before you enveloped him in a hug. “Ofc I can baby”
A faint but clear whisper escaped your lips. “I love you”
“I love you too”
—𝑲.𝒁𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒚𝒄𝒌 ☾ ⋆*・゚
It all started over chocolate.
One afternoon, you came home with the joy of finally getting to eat the chocolate you’ve been craving for all day. You opened the cabinet, only to be seen with the treat gone.
There’s only one person that lives with you so you quickly sprinted to the room you shared with the Silverette.
Entering, you see a body under the covers. “Did you eat my chocolate?“
No response.
“KILLUA!”
A groggy noise was heard from the boy that was now waking up from his nap. “Stop yelling!”
“Then answer me” you asked annoyed. not even 2 seconds pass by and you didn’t bother to wait for an answer as you stomped away.
you left the house once again, making it to your car as you went to the store to get chocolate for your self. Your mood lightened up much more after getting your snack.
Realizing it was getting late, you were deciding whether to head home or stay some place else. You didn’t wanna see the Brat’s face again- Not after you specifically told him to not eat your chocolate, yet he did.
Making up your mind, you decided to stay inside your car for the night. It was now 7:36 p.m and you know that the area around you wasn’t the best place to camp at. You went home and parked the car in the driveway only to stay inside of it.
You didn’t even get to shut your eyes when your boyfriend suddenly appeared outside of your car, tapping on the window.
“Get inside” his muffled words reaching your ears.
You ignored him.
“Y/N”
No response.
“Stop being so difficult!”
You turned on the car to lower down the window at eye level. “Then you shouldn’t have eaten my chocolate..”
He looked at you with a black stare. You don’t know what was going through his head but you sure were being made fun of when a chuckle escaped his lips. “Come on, get inside I’m not letting you sleep in there”
You decided to give in, only cause of the discomfort your body was going through.
“I’m still not sleeping with you.” You pouted as you made your way behind him walking towards the entrance of the house.
“Sure you won’t”
—
Later that night, you ended up in bed with him.
—𝑲.𝑲𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒂 ₊˚ʚ ₊˚✧
When you got devastating news that some one had died in your family, you’ve been grieving in silence not wanting to speak up about it.
Kurapika took in notice and started worrying. Sooner or later, he finally spoke up on your sudden concealment. “Hey Love I’ve noticed you haven’t been your usual self lately.. are you okay?”
You looked away from the TV to Kurapika’s figure that stood not to far away from yours. Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath, you finally answered. “Y-yeah I’m okay…”
Oh but he knew you weren’t. “You know you’re open to tell me anything right?” and without a response, you stood up and walked to grab your belongings to leave. “Y/n!-“
Slam!
The blonde male felt defeated in trying to get you to open up. He really did try his best to be there for you but you always turned him away.
—
It’s been over 2 days. 2 days and Kurapika has been trying to contact you. phone calls, texts, emails— anything to get a response.
That night you left his apartment to go to yours, tears streamed down your face. You felt guilty with how you left him in such a rude manner with no reply, yet you really couldn’t speak up on such a sensitive topic without him seeing you cry.
You felt like he would view you as a weak person and always find you putting your own problems on him to fix. You didn’t want that.
As you got up to use the bathroom, a sudden noise was heard from opposite of your main door.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Your footsteps quickened to the front door, opening it to see— Kurapika..?
“I’ve been worried sick.” He wrapped you in a tight hug. You didn’t have time to return the gesture when he pulled back so quickly, “tell me baby, are you okay? Are you sick?”
“Kura-“
“been trying to get ahold of you, I thought you got kidnapped!”
“Kurapika-“
“Come here” he hugged you again a little bit tighter than before.
“Kurapika I’m fine!” You pulled away lightly to face him directly. “Its just— something came up”
“Oh. Do you not want me to know? Is it personal?” The blonde male pondered. A smile tugged at your lips due to his concern. “It is. I would rather not talk about yet.. if that’s okay”
“Yes ofc baby” he brought you closer to caress your head. “Can you come back home? I really miss you..” this caused a giggle to escape your lips “yeah i will, I missed you too”

It’s already been 3 days since you last slept with leorio. The reason being over him coming home late at 2 in the morning after a boys night all drunk and drowsy.
You would always be okay if he came home late, but only if he would let you know through text. This time— he didn’t and it pissed you off.
That same night, you slept on the couch upset, not speaking up on your feelings. You tried to avoid him, expecting him to know why you were distressed the last few days. No words being exchanged, only him trying to get a sentence to come out of you.
At first, he didnt know what you were upset about and kept begging you to come back and sleep with him. It only irritated you more that he didn’t remember.
Since you’ve been sleeping in discomfort you finally decided to remind him in some sort of way that would make him apologize.
You were in the kitchen, finishing up the dirty dishes when your boyfriend came back home from work. Hearing the door slam shut, you finally decided to speak up. “Leorio-”
“Baby I’m so sorry!” He broke you off your sentence. Did he finally realize what he did? “I completely forgot to text you that night and there’s no excuse.” You turned around to face your boyfriend when suddenly, you were enveloped in a hug. Arms wrapped around your torso, circles being rubbed by his thumbs on your lower back.
“Is that why you wouldn’t sleep with me?” He pulled away, still having you in his grasp while looking down at you. “maybe..”
By the tone in your voice, he was relieved that he finally found out what was bothering you. “I’m sorry again baby, I promise it won’t happen again.”
You smiled at his genuine words and finally hugged him properly. “Can’t believe it took you this long to figure it out” you giggled.

Random thoughts on how I think a potential lover could change Chrollo:
🕷️I feel like Chrollo is the type of person who walks a fine line between craving connection and rejecting vulnerability. His emotional detachment doesn’t mean he’s indifferent to others. He expresses a clear sense of responsibility for the Troupe while simultaneously maintaining a certain distance. To me, this paradox reveals that he craves connection but cannot afford to be vulnerable without risking his authority and identity.
If he were fully detached, he wouldn’t care about Uvogin’s death or go as far as holding a requiem to honor him. But if he were fully vulnerable, he wouldn’t be able to maintain the ruthless control required to lead a group like the Troupe.
That said, how he would treat a potential love interest depends very much on who they are to him. For his potential s/o to move beyond mere curiosity and become someone he genuinely cherishes, they would need to be irreplaceable in his eyes—someone no one else could ever replicate or replace.
This person would have to be able to pull him away from his habitual detachment, drawing him out of his constant way of analysing the people around him. They wouldn’t just capture his attention but anchor him in the present, making him live in the moment/lose himself in the emotion he’s feeling in the moment.
But it’s very likely that the same qualities that draw him in would also shake him. Someone with the power to make him lose himself in the moment also holds the power to change his worldview. For a man who survives by maintaining intellectual and emotional control, being vulnerable a would threaten the stability he’s built around himself and the Troupe.
At first, his instinct would likely be to push him away. I don’t think this would be due to indifference but because their influence on him represents a loss of control, something he cannot afford when his leadership hinges on his ability to stay emotionally untouchable. Letting someone see or discover his unfiltered core means risking the detachment that enables him to make the kind of ruthless decisions the Troupe’s survival demands.
Though I can definitely imagine how someone who makes him feel something beyond duty and cold calculation would eventually become a pull he cannot resist, no matter how much he tries to maintain his distance. 🤭
It’s likely that this relationship would redefine his existence. For once, he would have something outside the Troupe’s mission that holds genuine value. This could manifest in subtle ways like small acts of protectiveness or moments where his calm facade cracks, or even instances where he prioritizes their safety over the Troupe’s objectives. If that person were in the troupe themself, his actions would ultimately go against his motto that nobody is more important than the whole.
꧁༺ I can fix him he’s so majestic god help me I’m obsessed 😔 ༻꧂

Hello! If you don't mind, I'd like to ask for a few headcannons of Kite, Wing and the main four (aged up Killua and Gon) with a s/o who seems like they're very weak and mild, but are strong and intimidating af during battle. Fem!reader if you can please.
Thank you!! (*´ω`*)
Thank you for being the first requester!! <3 I will never not be in the mood to write some HxH <3 Even though this wont be spicy, all characters in this are/aged up to be 18+ (Also probably gonna leave out Kurapika and Leorio this time around, probably gonna keep my limit at four characters per post)
•°• KITE •°•
+ This man was HIGHLY against bringing you along on one of his little adventures. Weak or not, the places he went were highly dangerous and he would never forgive himself if something happened to you.
+ It took a lot of convincing but he eventually agreed. But you best believe he is gonna be glued to your side and watching your surroundings like a hawk.
+ Just in a brief moment of being distracted by talking with you, Kite was attacked by a poacher with powerful nen abilities. Kite was about to attack the man, but something flashed past him before he could react.
+ "How DARE you hurt Kite, you asshole!!" With that battle cry, you used your abilities to take down the poacher with ease. Which left a confused and awe-struck Kite, standing in silence. When did you become so powerful??
+ Kite snapped out of his daze when you returned back to him and started worrying over his injury. Kite just gave a smile and shook his head. Looks like he had absolutely nothing to worry about with you by his side. You had each others backs.
•°• WING •°•
+ You had been training for a while with Wing and during that process, eventually started to date as well. Unfortunately for you, this made Wing a bit more protective over you.
+ It also was starting to seem like Wing was slowing down your training a bit. When approached about it he would just give the same "I just want to make sure you are fully prepared and ready" talk.
+ You hated to go behind his back, but you had to prove him wrong. You signed yourself up against a powerful opponent at Heavens Arena, making sure the fight was as soon as possible so that Wing could not interject. + When Wing heard your fight announced, he was both furious and terrified, especially when he saw the other opponent. Did you really have to pick out the strongest looking fighter just to spite him? He wanted nothing more than to jump on that stage and stop it before it even could begin.
+ Right as Wing was considering taking action, the fight had already begun. As the fighter barreled towards you, Wing found himself clench his eyes shut tight. The sound of surprised cheers made him chance another look, just to find you beating the shit out of the other fighter. It was a complete shock to him watching his sweet s/o give such a brutal beatdown. But at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a swell of pride.
+ When Wing found you after the fight, he made sure to give you a earful of how your actions were very irresponsible and dangerous. But once he was done, his face soften to a smile. "...And I'm sorry for doubting your abilities. You are very powerful and I can not wait to see you grow even stronger"
•°• GON •°•
+ Gon was never really attracted to people for their strength, but their hearts is what caught his attention. So when he met you, he never viewed you as strong or weak, just a good person with a big heart. And that's what lead the two of you to dating.
+ Though finding out you had nen abilities alone excited him. Gon wanted to know everything about your techniques. What did it do? How does it work?? How did you train to perfect it??? He's just in awe.
+ Even knowing you possessed nen powers, he never really associated it with you being a fighter. He didn't exactly view you as weak but he also didn't really expect you to single handedly beat up a group of powerful hunters.
+ The group was causing problems with a local villager and right as Gon was about to give them a piece of his mind, you got there first. He wasn't sure what was more surprising, the profanities spilling from your mouth or the fact that you took on all these skilled hunters with such ease.
+ You best believe when the fight is over, he's going to be drowning you in praise and even more questions. "Wow!! You keep getting more amazing with each day!! You're so cool Y/N!!" If you have not already gotten your hunter license, he's definitely going to beg you to give it a shot.
•°• KILLUA •°•
+ Similar to Gon, Killua isn't attracted to people for power alone. Yes power can impress him, but he prefers to be around people who love and appreciate him for who he is, flaws and all.
+ Which you do. You know all about Killua and all the awful things he's gone through, as well as all the good times and friends he has met. Meanwhile, there is still something he had yet to discover about you.
+ Killua had needed to get something from his home, but did not want you to get involved in any of his families shenanigans (God forbid if his mother found out the girl he was dating was in reach). He instructed you to wait a bit of a distance away from the gate and he'd be back as fast as he could.
+ After a while though you started to get impatient and wondered if he ran into any trouble with his family again. Anxiety started getting the better of you, leading you to make a trek up to the gates.
+ Right as Killua was about to exit, he nearly jumped when the gates had opened before he had the chance to touch them. And to make it more surprising, it was the 6th door out of the 7. All of his family had been home, so who..?
+ You ran through the gate and gave him a hug. "Good! I was starting to get worried about you!" Killua couldn't even respond for a moment, he was still in shock that you had managed to open all those training gates without much effort. At the same time, he couldn't help but smile in knowing that his s/o he loved so much was secretly so powerful.
+ "So you want to tell me what sort of training you've been through to be so strong? I might have to get some tips from you, heh"

Anywaysssssss
THANK YOU FOR REQUESTING!! IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY TO SEE THAT PEOPLE ENJOY MY WORK!!

⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴
⋆ You would be just a new hunter trying to make some good money while also putting your skills to use, so you became a bodyguard. That is how you two met
⋆ My bb is obsessed with revenge but thats okay, he later became obsessed with you too
⋆ Somehow you would get closer cuz u got that mc energy (ik that Gon is the mc but you slay sooo)
⋆ This would be the Fell first (you) and fell harder (kurapika) cuz oml
⋆ He would probably notice that you caught feelings for him, but dw he will soon notice his feelings soon.
⋆ After more time of knowing you, he would notice more of the small things you do, both for him and other people.
⋆ The sweet smile you give people that pass by, or just you asking him if he slept well made his heart speed up.
⋆ His heart also sped up when you offered to help him get his revenge and get the eyes of his clan memebers back
⋆ After he completed his revenge he would confess to you <3
⋆ He would be so sweet!!
"You aren't feeling well love? Do you want me to cook you something delicious? Coming right up!!"
⋆ He would want children, so if you cant have children or cannot, you would maybe hire a surrogate or adopt, but i am not sure how would adoption work if he would wanna pass the scarlet eyes too, cuz yk, genes...
⋆ Oki so, you two would meet in med schol and lemme tell you, he would be SMITTEN
⋆ You would start hanging out as study partners, and later have actual cute study dates in cafés.
⋆ Honestly, i feel like he would confess quite soon, but it would be really romantic and all, like good food, candles and all that.
⋆ Honestly he is so underrated?! Like whaaaaaaaaa, like yeah he was sorta weird, especially in the trick tower but still!
⋆ He is so husband material tho, not only is he nice, loves you, but he is also able to provide, hunter priviledges ig...
⋆ He would also want children, but only after marriage, and if you are okay with it, but more likely to adopt, since he knows there are a lot of children who are growing up in bad enviroment
⋆ Omg such a baby <3
⋆ You are his friend from the Hunter exam, and you also passed on your first try, so you are quite strong, and you travel with him and Killua
⋆ You both would be really oblivious, acting all sweet and lovey dovey together, so much everyone always assumed you two were dating, even Killua, so he decided to confront you two about it.
⋆ You ofc both denied it, and after seeing Gons embarrassed face, you wanted to tear Kill to shreds, how dare he embarrass Gon! Little did you know that the smoke coming out of Gons head wasnt from embarrassement, but from thinking.
⋆ Did he really like you?
⋆ 𝕪𝕖𝕤
⋆ After he thought it through, he was quite sure that he did like you. He just randomly ran up to you and yelled that he loves you
"(name) I AM SO SORRY I HAVENT REALIZED IT SOONER BUT I LOVE YOU SO MUCH PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME!!"
⋆ sweetie
⋆ You would be another kid from Whale Island, and you wanted to take the Hunter exam with Gon, but your parent/guardian, didn't let you yet because you weren't strong enough at the time. How can they tell? They used to be a hunter.
⋆ Then after Gon and the main group saved Killua from his crazy ahh family, he wrote you a letter that they were going to the Heavens Arena, and your parent/guardian let you go because it is a training opportunity, and also an opportunity to get you to socialize- urmmm
⋆ So that was when you met Killua
⋆ You two mostly bonded when Gon got hurt in the fight, cause you both love and cherish the little bean, and also while learning nen<3
⋆ After some time, he started to wonder why does he feel weird when talking and spending time with you (hmm its killua x reader, i wonder why...)
⋆ When you got to the 200 floor and fought some guy, he looked as if he was about to win, at that moment Kill wanted to kill him, but you did it instead<3 lovely<3
⋆ After that, you went to the Whale island again, and he met your parent/guardian (moving fast aren't we Kill?~) and they would be your second biggest shipper, cause Gon took the first place.
⋆ Somehow, you convinced your parent/guardian, to let you go with them to york new, and maybe also hang out with them till the next hunter exam, but the second part of you could do was only allowed after they got to know you would go with Killua >_<
⋆ First date in York New, only thanks to Gon (ily bb)
⋆ I can see that you two would either get together before the Hunter exam, or during the chairman election arc, idk
⋆ Either way! Alluka would ADORE YOU!!
⋆ His fav thing about you would be when you scold him for eating too many choco robots...because you care<3

A Mistake (Ging x Gon's Mom)
Chapter One: The Before
Synopsis: There was only ever one thing Ging regretted in his life, and that was what happened with you. You didn't think you had it in yourself to forgive what he did. Yet despite it all, you always end up finding your way back to each other.

It wasn't well known you'd ever had a husband. Just like it wasn't well known he'd ever had a wife. Only people in your closet circle knew about it. And even then, fewer knew you had a kid with him. It wasn't your doing, God no. If things had gone your way, your family wouldn't have been broken up. But as fate would have it, things were always complicated when it came to Ging.
—------------------------------
The two of you had grown up on Whale Island together. You were the only other kid besides Mito around. Yet despite that, you and Ging were never really friends. In fact, to most it looked like you hated each other. To a certain extent, you did.
Ging was standoff-ish, even as a kid. He never wanted you or Mito to hang around him. Often shooing the two of you away. His dismissive attitude sparking your hostility towards him. If he'd climb a mountain, you'd climb it in half the time. If he caught a monster in a lake, you'd catch two.
Ging noticed your attempts to one up him, striving to get under your skin just a little more. If you discovered a new plant on the island, he'd undermine it with an even bigger discovery. If you made friends with some of the crew from a visiting ship, he'd connect with the captain.
Everything you two did was to spite the other.
But somehow you'd ended up together anyway.
—-------------------------------
W H A L E I S L A N D: J U S T B E F O R E G O N ‘ S A R R I V A L
Another letter had come in. Just in time for Gon’s 12th birthday. It was signed with your signature. Mito eyed it with dread. A sinking feeling in her stomach. Sooner or later, she'd have to give them to him. She promised you, after all. But what if he decided he didn't want her as his mom anymore? Wanting instead to chase after you like his father. How would he react knowing his real mother wanted to see him all this time?
With a heavy sigh, she stored it away with the others. The sound of knocking quickly catching her attention. And when she saw it was Gon on the other side, her worries temporarily melted away. He'd brought a friend this time. ‘They’ll probably be out the whole day,’ she thought with a fond smile.
With that in mind, she quickly put both boys to work. Making sure they were all cleaned up before letting them explore the island. Yet something unexpected had happened. Gon presented her with his own hunter license. The very same her cousin had gotten. The type you'd gotten.
She tried not to let her dismay show. Playfully bending the license, though she knew it was practically indestructible. A part of her still hoping it would tear. These things had taken enough of her family. She returned it back at Gon’s protests. Laughing at his pouty expression.
One very reminiscent of yours.
Both boys left soon after they ate. All the while, Mito was eyeing the drawer she put your letters in. She knew it was time. Gon was an official pro hunter. There was nothing stopping her now from giving those letters, and yet… Yet she was still stalling.
She was stalling on giving out a few things. Ging's included. She tried to get rid of Ging’s box. Tried everything to destroy it. And when she couldn't, she gave up. But she never tried to get rid of your letters. Never anything that was yours.
It was getting late. The sun had barely finished setting. She decided she'd bring some food to the two boys. They must've been hungry being out for so long.
It must have been a natural talent in the family. To always be able to find the person they were searching for. You and Ging would always find her when she would hide away. And he'd always go out of his way to find you when you didn't want to be found. Here Mito was some decades later, somehow knowing just where Gon ended up.
The two boys were near the edge of a cliff. A small fire burning to keep them warm. She went to take a step forward, stopping when she heard one of them talk.
“You never told me what your mom does.”
She could hear Gon let out a heavy sigh. Unknowing his mother had fallen into the exact same occupation as him.
“It's hard to ask about my dad, but asking about my mom's even harder,” he responded.
As much as Mito resented Ging, she loved you. She would have answered a thousand questions about you.
“It's just that since Aunt Mito raised me all by herself, it feels weird y’know? Like it's wrong or something.” Gon continued.
He was ashamed to ask about you? She never wanted him to be scared to ask her anything. Especially if it was about you.
“When I was little, Aunt Mito told me that both my parents died in a traffic accident. She thought if I learned my dad was alive and a hunter, that I might end up just like he did. So…”
“She didn't know how right she was, huh?” His friend commented.
“When I found out about my dad, I dunno? I guess I kind of decided that if he was still alive somewhere, my mom must've been the one who died.”
Wrong. You were perfectly fine. And maybe a small part of her regretted telling that lie. But how could she possibly explain what happened? Tell him his dad had lost custody of him on purpose during court? That it was his fault his own mother couldn't get to see him?
“Ever since then, I've thought of Aunt Mito as my mom. The only one I've got.”
She didn't know she was crying until her tears dripped down.
“So there's nothing for me to ask. And I don't need to.”
Such a beautiful moment she was blessed with, and yet… it was tainted by guilt.
You'd wanted Gon.
You never wanted to give him up.
You tried to get him back.
It wasn't fair.
Not to you.
All she could think of was how badly Ging had fucked up.
She made a decision the next day. To finally tell him the truth about everything. And if he still didn't want to learn about you after, then truly she'd done everything she could. The only one to blame would be her idiot cousin.
She started off with the easier stuff. Things she knew Gon wanted answers to. That wouldn't hold as much weight to recount. Everything pertaining to Ging. That stupid box he left which she had no idea how to open. Stories of their childhood. How she was always chasing after him. How she yelled and fussed after him, only for him to essentially brush her off. How as much as she resented Ging for leaving, couldn't help but feel like things fell apart as soon as he was gone.
She left it at that for a while. Giving Gon time to process everything while she psyched herself up to talk about you. He'd gone back to his room with his friend, and Mito found herself back at the drawer that contained your letters. Twelve of them perfectly sealed and unopened. Her hands were shaking as she picked them up.
—----------------------------------
The two boys sat excitedly around the tape recorder, triumphant smiles at finally getting that damn box open. And as the tape started to play, Gon could feel his heart stop. Was that really what his dad sounded like? After all this time, it was Ging talking to him. Despite his crude words, Gon was brimming with fire. Wanting more than ever to find him now.
“About your mother-”
He shut off the tape just as Mito entered. She was clutching something close to her chest. A regretful expression on her face.
“What are those?” He questioned.
“I told you everything I knew about your father. It's only fair I tell you everything about your mother, too.” She explained.
And before Gon could protest, she finally handed over your letters.
“I don't even know where to begin, but make no mistake, she never wanted to give you up.”
He looked up at her in shock.
“My mom's alive?”
Maybe it wouldn't have been enough by itself to make him care. But the letters in his hand and the way Mito spoke about you did.
“I promised her I would give these to you. She sent one for every birthday. I think that if you ever wrote her back, she'd waste no time responding.” It was said with a bittersweet smile.
If she'd given them sooner, you probably would have.
Gon opened the first letter, he and his friend skimming over the text.
To Gon,
Happy First Birthday!!!! (Or well, second, but I'll write that one after this.) I'm your mom, and although you can't read yet, let me tell you a little about myself. For starters, I'm a hunter. Just like your clown of a father and maybe someday you. No pressure, I'll be proud of you no matter what you become. Anyways- I’m an underwater ruins hunter. I study civilizations lost to the sea, recover sunken vessels, and occasionally discover some pretty gnarly sea creatures. (Unwillingly if I might add.) I was born on Whale Island and spent most of my childhood there. When I was twelve, I left to take my own hunter exam. Now for the elephant in the room…. I'm obviously not there with you. I wish I could be. But I trust Mito will raise you well. For now, I'll be writing you every year. You don't have to respond, but just know I love you very much.
Your Mom, Y/n.
He didn't know what to expect. Surely not for you to be the complete opposite of Ging. You wanted to see him? You didn't expect him to be a hunter? You encouraged him to reach out to you?
With every letter he read, he became more fascinated. Your words were gentle, often telling him to chase his own dreams. Sometimes you'd write about what you did. Things you discovered and what you hoped to find next time. He thought he'd be okay without knowing anything about you. Perhaps Mito being the one to bring it up changed that.
“My mom was a hunter too, huh? But she seems so different from Ging,” he commented, looking up when he finished the last letter.
Mito let out a drained sigh before speaking.
“I don't know exactly what happened between them, but I do know your dad did something to stop your mom from seeing you.”
A curse, she thinks you called it.
“She asked me to take care of you. I would have done it anyway, but something about her trusting me…”
She remembers hearing a knock at the door. Opening it only to see your broken expression. She wanted to be mad at you. Not only had you gone and gotten knocked up, you did it with Ging of all people. The man who she wanted nothing to do with at the moment. That wasn't what sparked this feeling of betrayal. This hurt. You didn't even bother to tell her anything.
You'd been absent from her life for at least two years. You used to visit every few months. And you never hid things from her. But this? A relationship with her stupid cousin and a two year old kid? She wanted to slam the door in your face. Then the feeling disappeared at the sight of you crying.
“Please,” you sobbed. The only person who'd ever made you cry was Ging.
“Please take care of my boy!”
She knew it wasn't your idea to give him up. Not when Ging left the boy without looking back, and you were right in front of her pleading to take him in.
“Raise him like he's your own. I … I wish more than anything things were different. But I can't fix it this time. So please, please love him. Make sure he grows big and strong. Teach him right from wrong-”
“I promise.” She cut off. Her own eyes tearing up as she watched you fall apart.
“My first memory of your dad was his back. My first with your mom was of her face. Smiling so sweetly at me,” Mito started.
“She was my best friend, and I loved her like a sister. She was always butting heads with Ging. Your dad thought she was a pain, and your mom thought he was a jerk. To anybody with eyes it looked like they hated each other. Even I was convinced.”
She could see both boys listening intently. Waiting for her to continue.
“But despite all their petty arguments, they really did care about each other. There was this one time…”
—-------------------------------
W H A L E I S L A N D : 2 1 Y E A R S A G O
You didn't know how many times you'd found her like this. Hysterically crying her eyes out because she'd lost sight of Ging. But you did know you were sick and tired of him leaving her to fend for herself. He didn't have a shred of sympathy for anyone but himself. You'd put him in his place one day. For now…
“Ging left you again, huh?” You asked.
Mito looked up at you tearfully. Little hiccups escaping her from her place on the ground.
“Yeah.”
You crouched down to swipe the tears off her face. Flashing a soft smile and offering up your hand.
“Well who needs him? C'mon, let's have our own adventure.”
She took your hand without hesitation, letting you pull her up and clinging tightly to your arm. She could always count on you to make her feel better. A smile of her own making its way to her face as you pulled her along.
“Where are we gonna go?” She questioned.
“Mmmm. Oh, I know! But I can't tell you.” You put a finger to your lips. Eyes filled with amusement watching Mito pout.
“Why not!” She gave a small stamp of her foot.
Deciding you wouldn't tease her further, you responded truthfully.
“Cuz, it'll be a surprise.”
Something special for her. So maybe the person she wanted to spend time with could care less about her. That didn't matter now that you were here. You were absolutely right. She didn't need him.
You led her deeper into the forest. Stopping just short of a clearing with what had to be the prettiest flowers she's ever seen. Blues and reds sprouting from every which way. A small pond in the center with frogs sitting by the edge. Her eyes widened in awe at the sight.
“How did you find this place?” She asked.
You plopped down on the grass. Laying back and spreading out your limbs.
“Well, you discover something new everyday if you look hard enough.”
You gestured for her to join you. And without fail she did. Laying contently besides you while looking up at the clouds. Her senses flooded by the sweet smell of flowers. You stayed like that for a while. Basking in the serenity of the clearing. An idea came to you then. You nudged her shoulder lightly.
“Hey…Let's come back here tomorrow and have a picnic.”
“Really!?!”
You laughed at her excited tone.
“Yeah! I'm getting better at cooking. How about I bring the food, and you bring the blanket?”
You looked over to see her beaming at you. Your bright grin matching hers.
“Sounds good to me. If I tried to bring any snacks, Ging would find them and eat them.”
You sat up at that. Raising your fist to the sky with a shake.
“That jerkface. I'd give him a wallop if he tried that.”
She sat up with you, not bothering to hide her giggles when she spoke.
“Are you gonna give him one today?”
“For making you cry? I'll give him two!”
Your conversation was soon interrupted by a loud growl. The two of you froze. You turned your head to see a foxbear stalking forward. Instinctively you stood in front of Mito. Trying your best to figure out a way to make a break for it. The girl behind you still on the floor unmoving.
It took another step forward. Teeth bared in warning. You could outrun it, you were sure you could. But Mito couldn't. And if you carried her, you wouldn't be fast enough. You had to get its attention long enough for her to escape. It lunged forward before you got a chance to speak.
You’d grabbed Mito and rolled as fast as you could out of the way. The foxbear slamming its head on a tree. You grabbed the younger girl by her shoulders.
“Mito, get out of here! I'll distract it!”
She seemed to snap out of her fear for just a brief moment. Looking fast between you and the animal that regained its bearings.
“I can't leave you!” She cried.
You didn't have any time to argue, so you said something you hoped would get her moving.
“Then go get Ging! Hurry!”
You shoved her before she could argue. Watching as she broke out into a sprint. You let out a sigh of relief. It was gone as soon as it came, feeling the looming presence behind you.
Mito ran as fast as she could through the forest. Shouting for Ging as loud as she could. Once again crying hysterically the longer she looked. She bumped into something hard. Falling backwards and looking up to see what it was.
“I thought you gave up for the day? Well, whaddya want?”
She sobbed harder at the sight of Ging. Doing her best to speak coherently through her tears. But all he could make out was ‘Y/n’ and ‘Help.’
He rolled his eyes at the mention of your name. Cutting off Mito from her panicked rambling.
“Look, whatever happened to Y/n is her problem. Besides, she's always running her mouth about how much better she is than me. She can deal with it herself.”
Right at that moment your scream reverberated through the forest. For the first time since Mito could remember, Ging went pale. His eyes widening as the blood in his veins froze. Then all at once he started running. Sprinting as fast as he could in the direction of your cry.
Mito did her best to follow after him. She'd never known Ging to be scared. And she never would have known if it weren't for the slight tremble in his hand as he aimed his fishing pole. His body stuttering upon seeing your crumpled up form. The foxbear looking up at him with a growl.
He ran to the side opposite of you, using the tip of his fishing pole to smack the back of its head. He signaled for Mito to grab you. Continuing his onslaught as the foxbear grew more frustrated. It made a lunge for him. Ging dodged at the last second and made a run towards you and Mito. Picking up both of you and sprinting back towards the village.
Your body felt light, and he tried not to notice the limpness of it. He tried to ignore the warmth seeping into his clothes. The houses were barely in sight when he started shouting for a doctor. For anyone to help.
And he internally cursed you. Just what the hell did you get yourself into. You were gonna die. You couldn't die. You were supposed to be here. For him.
It wasn't long before you were taken in by a doctor. You were rushed in for surgery. The medical professionals stopping both Ging and Mito from entering the room. So they waited outside instead.
Mito eyed him from her peripheral. His shirt was soaked with your blood. She half expected him to yell at her for your condition. For being reckless. He was oddly quiet instead. She also thought he would have left by now, thinking you were the healer’s problem. But he was right outside your room.
The hospital wasn't really one. Not like Whale Island had much technology to begin with. It was a five room house with basic first aid. An old man with some medical experience and a few helpers. Still, it was better than nothing. The doctor came out after a few hours. The two of them looked at him expectantly.
“She lost too much blood. It's a gamble if she'll pull through. But as of right now, it doesn't seem likely. You two should go home and get some rest.”
With no other choice they left. Or rather, Mito left and Ging said he'd be right behind her. She didn't expect to see him the next day in your room, having cracked open the door silently.
He stood by the side of your bed. Watching the rise and fall of your chest unmoving. His hand clasped in yours.
She was sure what he said next wasn't for another soul to hear.
"If you die…I'll never forgive you.”
His hand tightening ever so slightly around yours.
“So get better. Don't be a wimp and just bleed out."
He didn't bring it up. Not even to rub it in when you made a full recovery. In fact, it was as if that moment of softness never happened.

“So they still fought after that?” Gon questioned.
He thought his dad would have been a little nicer to you after that. Seems he was wrong.
“Ooh yeah. A lot. I never told your mom about that either. So naturally they continued on as usual. That didn't mean she didn't have her own soft spot for him as well.”

Another day, another spat with you and Ging at each other's throats. He tried to walk away at first, not in the mood to be scolded right now. But you followed persistently behind him.
“You can't just disappear for a day! Everybody was worried about you!” You shouted.
Everyone huh? He shot you a glare over his shoulder.
“Even you?”
He watched smugly as your cheeks puffed out in irritation.
“Oh yes. Totally worried and not at all annoyed by your reckless behavior! Can't you stop being stupid for one minute.”
His amusement disappearing at your insult. He turned around to face you.
“Then why are you here? Quit nagging me and just go away!”
“It's not like I found you first on purpose! You think I like wasting my time!”
His head started to hurt. Maybe staying in that cave overnight had been a bad idea. Not like he'd ever admit it, and surely not to you of all people. You'd never let him live it down.
“Funny. Considering your entire life is a waste of time!” He taunted.
“Real original. At least I'm not the one who doesn't know what a shower is!”
But the longer Ging continued to argue with you, the worse he started to feel. The ache in his head became a ruthless pounding. His vision going in and out. He doubted an animal bite was the cause. He must've been exposed to something.
“Another thing- hey. Are you okay?” Your tone immediately shifting upon seeing him struggle to stand.
You reached to put a hand on his forehead. He quickly slapped it away. Trying to create space between you two.
“M fine. Maybe if you shut up for once…. World wouldn't…be.. spinning.”
He collapsed onto the ground. The last thing he heard was your concerned cry.
“GING!”
You rushed over to his side, panicking at his rapid breathing. You quickly hauled him over your shoulder and ran back towards the village. They stared at you in shock as you hauled around the unconscious boy.
You'd brought him to the same doctor you'd been at. And like you, the chance of recovery was slim. They didn't know what he'd been exposed to. You did your best to recall where you'd found him. Listing off whatever you thought would help. With nothing to do but wait, they'd sent him home on bed rest.
Mito would check up on him everyday. Surprisingly, you joined her. She'd never seen you so downcast. Especially over Ging. If anything, she expected you to brag about how you were right. How Ging was stupid enough to somehow get infected by a new sickness. Not you being the one to give him his medicine. (His own dad having been gone for some time now.)
He hadn't been getting better the past few days. And as she silently opened his bedroom door, she couldn't help but freeze in her tracks.
Ging's hand was clasped tightly between yours. You were looking down at him with a frustrated expression.
"You're pathetic if you let this sickness win. Aren't you supposed to be strong?”
She was sure she wasn't supposed to be hearing this. But you didn't seem to notice her.
“Then beat this thing and get better! If you die…I'll hate you forever."
And when he made a miraculous recovery, you didn't bother bringing it up either.

She continued sharing stories about you and Ging. It felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders. With every new fact about you, Gon’s eyes brightened. There was still a part of her that was worried he'd start chasing after you next. That he'd stop thinking of her as his mother. She knew it was selfish, but she'd raised him all on her own.
“I'd like to meet her one day. But she wouldn't be able to replace you.” Gon admitted.
She had nothing to fear after all.
—-----------------------------------
You don't know why you were thinking about him. About your childhood. You supposed the setting had something to do with it. You were currently traveling on a boat to get to your next sighting. Then you'd spend about a week doing dives. Truly you loved the sea. You could never get enough of it as a kid. Wanting more than anything to leave that island to explore it.
For so long you'd only ever stare across the horizon. You'd pick up whatever washed ashore and observe it. Try to figure out where it came from or what it was. You were able to spread your wings as a hunter.
A damn shame the man who encouraged you to do it was a dickhead.

W H A L E I S L A N D : 2 1 Y E A R S A G O
You remembered hearing the announcement and not believing it. Ging's dad was gone, lost somewhere out at sea. They weren't close, but it affected him all the same. You saw the way his eyes widened in disbelief. The way his hands clenched as people offered their condolences. How he started distancing himself from everybody.
He'd go into the forest and wouldn't come out for days. You knew he wasn't taking care of himself. Seeing his disheveled appearance and sunken in cheeks. You don't know why you felt bad for him. All you two did was yell at each other. But you just couldn't stand to see him so dejected.
Maybe it was because you could relate to him to some extent. You'd lost both of your parents when you were four. And although every family friend offered to take you in, you opted to stay by yourself in your home. The last thing you'd wanted was to be pitied.
You had a feeling Ging was similar. Too proud to accept any help or admit he needed it. He wouldn't want your sympathy. But you at least wanted him to eat. To stop neglecting his health.
It wasn't hard to find him. Somehow you always managed to do it. He was slumped over up against a tree. You don't think you've ever seen him so…so upset. You approached him slowly, watching the way his head shot up at the sound of your footsteps.
“You've been roughing it up like a caveman for days. Don't you think it's time to go back home?” You asked.
He took note of the softness of your voice. You've never spoken to him like that before.
“I'm fine.” He brushed off.
‘You don't look like it,’ you wanted to say. But you didn't want to push him. So instead you'd said-
“Well if you're going to be stubborn. Here.”
You extended out the basket you'd brought. A pleasant smell emitting from it. You could see the cogs turn in his head as he tried to figure out what was in there.
“Don’t go getting the wrong idea. I had leftovers is all,” you justified.
He snapped out of whatever daze he was in and turned his head away.
“I'm not hungry.”
You frowned at his words. You always hated how stubborn he could be. Two could play at that game.
“You look like garbage. You know you can't lie to me. And if you're gonna stay up here, at least feed yourself.”
The thought occurred to you that maybe he came up here because he didn't want anyone to see him grieve.
“Or if you don't want anyone to see you, you could crash at my place.” You added.
Your hospitality didn't sit right with him. You of all people were being nice. Why? Because you felt bad? You were the last person he wanted to be pitied by.
“Are you gonna tell me you're sorry too? That you're here if I need somebody to talk to? How you can't possibly imagine what I'm going through?” Frustration evident in his tone.
“I'm not-” You tired to argue, but everything had been too much for him.
“Well save it.” He snapped, eyes boring into yours.
“I don't need your damn help and I don't need your sympathy. But you can never leave me alone, can you?”
You two were no strangers to arguing. But something about this one felt different. It felt more heated. More weighted. The venom of his words making you tremble.
“You're just an annoying thorn in my side that I can't get rid of. I hate you. I hate your voice. I hate the way you look. The way that you walk. I hate everything you stand for.”
He didn't know why he was so angry at you. But he couldn't stop.
“Make yourself useful for once and get the hell away from me!”
You stood silently taking it. Nails pressing hard into your palms. For a second he thought you would cry. Instead you'd dropped the basket you were holding. Voice eerily quiet as you finally spoke.
“I can't wait until I get off this island. I'll have the pleasure of never seeing you again.”
You left after that, leaving him once again in silence. He thought he would've felt better after you were gone. He didn't. For some reason, he couldn't shake the look on your face. The hurt. You'd never let anything he said get to you before. So why this time?
He shook his head to rid the thought. But he just couldn't escape you. The smell of the food you'd brought wafted tantalizingly in his face. He could feel a small pang of hunger in his stomach.
Damn you and your persistence.
The more he tried to ignore it, the more prominent his hunger became. Inevitably, he gave into the rumbling of his stomach. Not wanting to admit he was somewhat thankful you'd left the basket. Or that you'd been right. He froze when he saw what was inside it.
These were all his favorite foods. Packaged with care and enough to last him for the day. You didn't have leftovers, you'd actually gone out of your way to cook for him. A twinge of guilt coursed through him.
He'd been awful to you, and yet you still made sure he was taken care of. Hadn't you lost both of your parents too? More than anyone, you probably did know what he was going through. But you didn't want it to seem like some charity case, so you tried to play it off instead.
And he'd thrown it back in your face.
Man, he really owed you one, didn't he?
Just like that his grief, his frustration was gone. In its place the want to make things right with you. So he spent the whole night trying to figure out how to make it up to you. You loved the shoreline, so he started there. Picking up things he thought you would like. Fossilized parts of starfishes, a few janky shells, pieces of coral. He overheard you talking about sand dollars once, so he found a few of those too. Maybe he'd even catch you a new pet. Everything he collected placed haphazardly into your basket.
He knocked on your door first thing in the morning. It was still early enough that nobody would see him give it to you. Why did it matter if people saw him?
He half debated just leaving the basket at your door. But he decided against it, figuring you'd just think it was Mito who left it. The silence stretched out before him. You sure were taking your time, weren't you? He knocked again.
He felt like an idiot standing out here. People would see him at this rate. How humiliating it was to apologize to you. He twisted your doorknob next, surprised to see it unlocked. He'd scold you for that later. For now, he let himself in.
“Hey, you awake yet?” He asked softly.
Once again he was greeted by silence. He decided to just get it over with. No point in stalling.
“Look, maybe I went too far yesterday. I don't…I don't hate you…And uh- thank you for the food.” He quickly added.
Silence. He walked further into your home. Face burning a bright red. You were really gonna make him say it, weren't you?
“You're really that mad, huh? Fine. I didn't mean to snap at you, okay?!? I don't even care about my dad that much. He's never here. Not like you. So just come out already!”
And when you still didn't respond, his heart dropped. Something wasn't right. You'd never skip out on a chance to tease him. Something on your table caught his eye. A note. It shouldn't have shocked him to see it addressed to Mito. Though he never should have expected you to write him anything in the first place.
‘I'm gonna be out for a while, so don't panic when you can't find me. I'll be fine. Take care until then.’
Okay. So he'd just have to wait until you came back. No big deal. He could wait here for you.
You didn't come back.
You'd been gone the whole day. Mito came by to see you. And when he showed her the note, she tried to wait for you too. But when it got dark out, she started crying. She always did when something happened to you. She loved you like family. It wasn't like you to be gone for so long. Still, he wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt.
By the third day, the entire island was searching for you. No stone left unturned, every nook and cranny you could possibly fit into was searched. There was no sign of you.
You left.
He was sure you did.
You always talked about getting off the island. Then there was what you said before you walked away from him. That you couldn't wait to leave. He asked all the crew members by the dock if they'd seen you. He checked every shore he could find at least twice. Asked if any boats had left recently. No luck. You'd made sure there was no trace of you.
How was he supposed to explain to everyone it was his fault you were gone?
He was scouting on the edge of a cliff when he saw something. A stone skipping in the water below. He tried not to get his hopes up. Tried to stop the pounding of his heart as he made his way down. Hugging the base of the mountain while scooting a few inches at a time. Finally, there was an opening. He never would have seen it if it weren't for the rock you tossed.
You hadn't seen him yet. Holding yet another small rock and throwing it across the surface of the water. You looked…fine. A canister of water by your side with a small fire going. He had no reason to be worried about you.
You knew he was there. Even without seeing him you knew. You weren't mad at him, per se, but you were hurt. You could tell he was just lashing out. Taking everything negative and aiming it at you because it was easier that way. That didn't excuse what he said. It didn't mean you wanted to see him. Or anyone for that matter.
You wanted to be alone for a while. Just to collect your thoughts. But since he was here, you couldn't help but be snippy with him. He had no right to bother you when he'd been so cruel earlier.
“I thought you wanted me to leave you alone?” Sarcasm dripping from your tone.
He stood shocked at your words. Regaining his composure only to scold you right after.
“Don't start with me! You've been missing for three days! What the hell is wrong with you!?!”
Had you been more observant, you would have noticed the worry in his voice.
“Me? Says the idiot who leaves for weeks at a time! You can't get after me for doing the exact same as you!”
“Like hell I can't! The entire island’s been in a frenzy since you left!”
“Well you found me! Now go away!”
He was getting nowhere with you. So he tried someone who could.
“Mito thought you were hurt or worse!”
At that you went quiet. A guilty expression crossing your face. He knew you loved her just as much as she loved you. He took your silence as a sign to continue.
“Look, when I do it, it's expected! When you do it, it's like her entire world ended. Damnit, you have people who care about you!” He cared about you.
“And you don't!?!” You snapped.
It was like his brain short-circuited at that moment. You cared about him? Was everything he had been feeling what you'd felt too? Worried about how the other was doing. If they were okay.
“Why are you here Ging?” You asked.
You sounded drained. He couldn't blame you. He'd felt drained too.
“It should be obvious shouldn't it?” He rebuttaled.
But as always you saw right through him.
“No. Why are you here?”
He didn't know how to answer you, so he didn't. You curled into yourself at his silence.
“I don't want to see you right now.” You said quietly.
He sat down next to you stubbornly.
“Too bad. I'm not leaving until I take you with me.”
You scooted away from him.
“Then we're stuck here because I'm never going anywhere with you again.”
You let out a scoff, directing your attention to the fire in front of you. It was an awkward sort of silence that filled the cave. You didn't want to speak to him, and he didn't know what to say. He looked at you from the corner of his eye. He had no idea how to fix this. He was never the best with people. He knew how to get on your nerves. Not how to soothe them.
So he sat there for an hour or two, trying to formulate a sentence in his head. He eventually gave up. Maybe being honest would help. And if it didn't, then you two would be stuck down here a long time.
“It was off putting, you know?” He started.
“Hmm?” You gave a small hum, still refusing to look at him.
“To have you be nice to me.”
He could see the way your hands clenched. Okay so maybe those weren't the right words.
“Well, it'll never happen again.”
Definitely not the right words.
“Not like that. Ugh!” He tried to diffuse. Face starting to burn with embarrassment. And when you finally turned to stare at him, it only worsened.
“Like what then?”
He took a second to collect his thoughts. Letting out a heavy sigh before speaking.
“I don't want to be the boy who was pitied.”
Your face scrunched up at his words.
“Who's father died so everybody better step on eggshells around him. All the ‘sorries’ and ‘we’re here's.’ I can't stand any of it.” He confessed.
You had a feeling that was the case. It was why you tried to be subtle about your kindness. Look how far that got you.
“Then for you to show up with food, to offer me your place to stay…It didn't feel like you. It felt like everyone else.”
At last, your features softened.
“I just don't want you to change. You don't tell me what I want to hear. So having you care about me just felt off.”
He turned his head towards you when he was finished. He was surprised to see you move closer to him. You didn't look mad anymore. You were trying to figure out how to respond.
“I just…”
And he waited for you. Just as you'd waited for him.
“You're so strong, you know? So stubborn and determined. I thought nothing could shake you.”
You thought that highly of him, huh? It had him feeling a little worse for what he said to you.
“Seeing you so dejected….It was hard. You're always full of energy. The boy who can never resist a challenge. The sulking kid who sits in one place? That's not Ging Freecs.”
You met his gaze with a small smile.
“I don't want you to change either. And I know you didn't mean all that stuff. You don't have to say you're sorry.”
A feeling of relief washed over him. He decided he hated it when you were mad. Really mad at him. The silence was more comfortable this time. The tension in the cave not as thick. He'd almost say it was nice.
“I thought you'd run off the island. I don't know why, but it scared me. The thought of you not being here anymore.” He admitted.
You gave a playful nudge to his shoulder.
“I would have loved to see the look on your face.”
And once again he was embarrassed. He'd never tell you he was worried. He'd rather have his eyes gouged out than admit that.
“What look? The look of relief.” He taunted, but you only laughed the remark off.
He pouted and turned away from you. Through your giggles you could tell he was flustered. You knew he didn't like being vulnerable. Hell it was a miracle he'd told you as much as he did. You decided to humor him a bit.
“I was scared too. I thought you'd kill yourself up there. That's why I brought you food in the first place.” You explained.
He was grateful you'd somewhat changed the subject. Taking attention off him for a moment. But something in the atmosphere changed. Your amused expression was replaced by something more somber.
“I'm gonna leave this island eventually. I don't wanna be stuck here all my life.”
Eventually. Not yet. It was comforting to hear. He nodded at you to continue, sharing in your sentiment.
“There's something I want to do. Something I want to find.”
“What is it?” He asked.
“You're gonna laugh if I tell you.”
“Promise I won't.” Because truthfully, he wanted to be here with you. A part of him beaming at the fact you were telling him something personal.
“You know about the legend of Atlantis right? The lost sunken city? I'm gonna find it. Or a city like it. Most myths are based in some truth, right? At the very least I can discover lost pieces of civilizations.”
You spoke excitedly, but when you met his gaze, you shied away. Preparing for him to poke fun at you.
Had it been coming from anyone else, he would have thought they were crazy. But something about it being you made him believe it. It made him want to root for you. Before he could say as much, you continued. This time with more determination.
“In two years, I can take the hunter exam. I'll be able to get the funds I need for dives. Maybe grants for research. I'll be able to start my life. But…I know people will probably think I'm crazy. I'll be underestimated for being so young. It'll be hard.”
He could see you were on the fence about it. Wanting to chase your dreams, but at the same time worried about what everybody else would think. He doesn't think he's ever seen you self-conscious before. You were always so sure with everything you did.
“If anyone can do it, it's you.” He encouraged.
Your eyes widened. Then all at once you beamed at him.
“So you think I should go for it?” You asked hopefully.
“Yeah. Besides, I'll be the one to leave first. If I'm going after what I want, why shouldn't you?”
You were temporarily shocked hearing he'd wanted to be a hunter too. Then again it was Ging. He was always chasing something new. He fit the role perfectly.
“And what is it that you want?” You asked.
He couldn't believe what he was about to tell you. Something he'd never confided in anyone about before. He supposed it was only fair since you did it first.
“There are these ruins. I want to restore them. Well, not quite. I want to find out what's inside them. Nobody's been able to get in there before. Something about it being too dangerous and the ruins themselves being too fragile. I'll start up a nonprofit to get things going. It won't be easy either. But it's what I want.”
He looked at you with an unshakable resolve. The same one reflected in your eyes.
“Then you better make sure to get it.” You said.
He remembered what you said the day he snapped at you. Asking him to go back to the village. Back home. After being away for so long, no thanks to his own behavior and worry for you, he wanted nothing more. He stood up and offered his hand to you.
“I'm ready to go home now.” He prompted.
You smiled and took his hand.
“Then let's get going.”
You got back to the village by nighttime. Staring up at the stars as you made your way to your house. Ging followed right behind you. When you got there, you offered for him to come inside. Initially, he accepted your offer. That was until you found your basket on the table.
“What's this?” You asked.
Ging actively avoided your gaze while you looked through the contents of the basket.
“Mito thought you were sick and made you a basket.” He quickly lied. Face burning a bright red.
You raised a brow at his flustered expression.
“Well tell Mito I said thank you.” You already knew it was him who left it.
“I will.”
He went to leave, trying to escape what'd made him so embarrassed. And just before he opened the door, he hesitated.
“Don't ever do that again.” He lectured one last time.
You gave a roll of your eyes.
“I didn't need you to find me. I was perfectly fine. And besides, I left a note.”
“Just don't do it, okay!?!”
Eventually the time came when he was supposed to leave for his hunter exam. He of course rubbed it in how he got to become one first. Very much enjoying how it got under your skin.
“Being a year older than me doesn't make you better! You know damn well I'd ace it on my first try!”
“Sucks to suck. It doesn't change the fact I'll be a hunter before you. Maybe I'll even get a head start on your search.” He teased.
“Don’t you dare! I'll kick your ass!”
“Oooh. I'm so scared. How's it feel to be in second place?”
“I hope you fail and have to take it next year with me! Then I hope you fail again!”
Your angry expression disappearing when he started staring point blank at you. It felt like he was observing you. You fidgeted under his gaze.
“What? Is there something on my face?”
At that, he continued his way towards the boat that would take him to the exam site. He flashed you a cheeky smirk over his shoulder before speaking once more.
“You're such a nag. You know, no man's ever gonna wanna marry you if you keep at it?”
You could feel your face burn. Chasing persistently at him while yelling.
“Oh yeah? Well you're a lazy bum! No woman's gonna wanna put up with you and clean up after your messes!”
“Psh! I could bag any woman I wanted.”
“Bag this!”
You put him in a headlock. Grip unrelenting as he pleaded for you to let go. Ultimately giving up and letting you rough him up. It'd be the last time he'd see you for a long while. He could feel it.

P R E S E N T: S O M E W H E R E O N T H E A Z I A N C O N T I N E N T
Gon didn't know what he was expecting, he should have figured it wouldn't be that easy to find Ging. Still he couldn't help but feel disappointed his father had sent him on another chase. On the bright side, he'd been able to meet Kite again. The man who'd inspired him to become a hunter in the first place.
It was a hectic reunion to say the least. And after a small scuffle with some ants, the three of them situated themselves around a fire. The conversation centered on Ging for a bit. What he was like, how Kite met him, small things that only piqued Gon’s interest more.
“Do you want me to tell you where Ging is right now?” Kite asked.
Gon knew he was testing him. Already knowing what he'd say without hesitation. He was sure of it now. He was right where he was meant to be. Ging had his reason for sending him here, and he'd do his best to see it through.
"No thanks. I'll find him myself.”
Kite seemed content with his response.
"That's a good answer.”
Gon’s determined look reminded him of someone. He just couldn't put his finger on it at the moment. Yet as the conversation continued, the image became clearer. It wasn't until Gon asked about you did he realize it.
“Do you know anything about my mom?”
That's right. He had your unwavering optimism and determination. He should've known from the start it was you. He may have looked like Ging, but his mannerisms were yours. It really should have clicked he was your son too.
“Yeah, I know your mom. She's one of my closest friends.”
The way Gon’s eyes lit up, it was definitely you.
“Really!?! What's she like?”
He let out a small laugh at the boy’s enthusiasm. Oh where to start with you. There were so many things to say. More than he could about Ging because unlike him, you two had actually kept in frequent touch with each other. He knew the general vicinity Ging was in, but he knew the exact hotel you were staying at. That was one way to put it.
“She's the complete opposite of your father, for starters. Your dad struggles socially most of the time and he's extremely stubborn. He doesn't give up until he gets exactly what he wants. Your mom makes friends just about everywhere she goes. She compromises a lot when it comes to what she's looking for. But she'll always manage to find a way to get it anyways.”
Gon noticed his tone was a lot softer when he talked about you. Very similar to the way Mito reminisced about your shared childhood.
“She's always going out of her way for others. I remember the first time I met her…”
—---------------------------------
S O M E W H E R E : 1 6 Y E A R S A G O
The situation wasn't ideal. The two of them needed a place to stay for the moment, and for whatever reason Ging led them here. A small house just outside of York New.
Normally they'd take their chances with the elements, but the impending blizzard changed their plans. There was no way in hell they would be able to withstand it. Ging seemed pretty adamant about coming here, too. An almost excited look in his eye when the opportunity presented itself.
When you heard knocking on your door, you couldn't have expected who'd be on the other side. Opening it up and staring dumbfounded. A sixteen year old Ging stood with a ten year old kid in the cold.
“It’s been what? Four years? Nice to see you again,” he greeted.
“Die.” You quickly slammed the door in his face.
Now from what Ging had been telling Kite, you were his friend. He said you would greet him with wide arms or something. Be more than willing to open your home. Clearly he'd been misled.
“Wh-hey! It's freezing out here! Have a heart will ya! At least take in the kid!” Ging pleaded through the door.
And his motives may or may not have been selfish. Staying here for a night would give him the opportunity to dump Kite off at your place. But you didn't need to know that.
“Stop trying to guilt trip me!” He heard you faintly through the door.
“One night? C'mon. All the hotels are booked up. Look I'll even pay you.”
You looked out through the peephole just in time to see him wave a five dollar bill. And just when you were about to shoo him away once and for all, you saw the little boy shiver. Clutching his arms tightly to himself to keep warm.
Damnit.
You hastily unlocked the door. A hand on your hip while you moved to let them in.
“You better clean up after yourselves. Got it?”
Ging gave a salute.
“Yes ma'am. Let's go.” He gestured for Kite to follow him.
The kid followed behind him obediently. Hanging up his coat and looking at your home in awe. Ging leaned down to whisper something in his ear. He gave a small nod when he finished, walking further into your home to explore. Perhaps if you'd been a little closer you would have heard Ging say-
“Told you she'd let us in. Now don't go causing trouble. She's scary when she's mad.”
You let the duo situate themselves in your kitchen. You eyed the smaller boy with curiosity. He'd been dead silent since he walked in. Looking everywhere but you. He seemed to curl in on himself, as if to look smaller. Nerves perhaps.
“So who's poor kid did you abduct?” You questioned.
Ging gave a roll of his eyes before answering.
“I didn't abduct him. He just started following me around. I figured it wouldn't hurt to keep him as a student.”
“You? A teacher? That poor boy.”
“Hey! He's coming along nicely. He's already got the basics down. It's only a matter of time before I teach him nen.” He defended, crossing his arms at your jab.
You scoffed and continued on with cooking. You could see Ging enter your peripheral, a cheeky smirk on his face.
“Speaking of, how's yours coming along?” He asked.
“Like I'd ever tell you my ability. It's humiliating enough you recovered those ruins first.”
You knew those words were a mistake the second they left your mouth. Watching as he beamed before a smug expression replaced it. He used an arm to lean on your counter.
“So you were keeping up with me? If I didn't know better, I'd say you had a crush.” And to your horror, he wiggled his eyebrows playfully.
“Ha! Don't delude yourself. My department covers ruins too. It'd be weird if I didn't hear about it.”
He'd deny the slight disappointment at your words.
“Besides, how'd you know where I lived?” You continued.
“I asked around.” He said matter of factly. And as he realized what he said, his face flushed.
“Stalker much. If I didn't know any better, I’d say you had a crush on me.” You mimicked.
“Tch. It's not like that! I just…”
“Just what?”
He internally cursed you out for throwing his taunt back in his face.
“We'll probably be colleagues one day, so it helps to know where you are,” he justified.
You didn't believe him, but still you decided to give him a break.
“Sure. Now, go get cleaned up. Leave your clothes to thaw out. I'm sure I have something that'll fit you.”
“And him.” He gestured to Kite behind himself.
“Oh he can definitely fit in my clothes. Poor thing is so scrawny.”
You walked over to the smaller boy. Kite froze when you cupped his cheeks. Cooing softly at him. Your movements very much exaggerated.
“He's been starving you, hasn't he? C'mon, let's take care of you. It couldn't be easy living with such a brute.”
“Hey!” Ging called out.
You guided Kite to sit at the dining table. He didn't really trust you. And your overly friendly tone didn't help. But as soon as Ging left, he could tell it was for show. You smiled a little more genuinely at him.
“Hope you like soup, because that's what we're working with. Luckily, I should have enough for all of us.”
You didn't know whether to take his silence as a good thing or not. Who knows what Ging told him. Probably that you were a witch who'd put him in the oven.
“I don't bite, you know?”
He eyed you with a shy expression.
“I've got plenty of food, so you can eat to your heart's content. And don't worry about the dishes. I'll make Ging do them. It's the least he can do for showing up unannounced.” You tried to sway, yet he stayed quiet. Although you noticed he started fidgeting under your gaze.
“Not much of a talker huh? That's fine. If you need anything just let me know.”
The difference between you and Ging was night and day. Your presence was warm and inviting. You didn't try to pry into his personal life or poke fun of him. Serving him a bowl of whatever you'd been cooking with an encouraging smile.
He took his first spoonful. It was the first time you'd seen him show emotion since he'd been here. Eyes lighting up as he eagerly downed the entire bowl. You did your best to stifle your laughter, pouring him another serving when he was finished.
“You can sleep in my room, if you want.” You offered.
He momentarily looked up from his food. He was weighing the option in his head when Ging came out from your bathroom.
“And where am I gonna sleep?”
Your soft expression shifting into an annoyed one. Looking away from Kite to address him.
“The couch.”
“What!?! Shouldn't the host take the couch?” Ging argued.
“You should be glad I'm letting you stay in the first place. I get the spare room. My house, my rules.”
He huffed something under his breath. You gave a glare and pointed towards the sink.
“Dish duty. Go.”
“I haven't eaten had a chance to eat yet!” He complained.
“Well eat and then do them. I'm not your damn mother."
“No but you'll be a hag in a few years.” He mumbled.
“What did you say?!?”
“Nothing!”
He'd never seen his mentor so compliant. There was hardly any pushback before he was scrubbing the dishes. Ging liked to march to the beat of his own drum. So to see him do whatever you told him, it was shocking. Maybe he didn't want to piss you off. Though he had a feeling it was something else entirely.
Kite followed you to your room. You urged him forward, grabbing a few comforters and pillows from a closet. How long had it been since he slept in a bed? Too long. He practically sunk into the mattress. Smiling contently as he spread out.
“Getting comfortable?” You asked.
“Mhm.”
“I got you some extra blankets just in case. Here, let me set things up for you.”
He watched mutely as you organized the pillows you'd brought in. Reaching over the side of the bed to swipe a small stuffed bear. You put a finger to your lips.
“Don't tell Ging. I kept this from home. If he found out he'd be a jerk about it.”
It'd been a gift from Mito when you were little kids. You couldn't take a lot with you when you left Whale Island. But you’d wanted some reminder of home. No matter how small it was.
Kite nodded in understanding. Knowing just as well as you how insufferable Ging could be. You were in the doorway when he stopped you. Building up his confidence to speak at last.
“Kite.”
His voice was quiet. Quiet enough that you weren't even sure you heard it.
“Huh?”
“My name is Kite.” He wanted to say thank you, but the words died on his tongue. You smiled brightly at him anyways.
“Well it's nice to meet you Kite. If you need anything, I'm here.”
He could see now why Ging chose this place. Why he chose you. Kite decided he liked you after all.
And while he slept soundly through the night, a certain ruins hunter found that he couldn't. Tossing and turning before getting up to use the restroom. He opened up the door and stopped in his tracks.
You were snoring away inside the tub. His eyes softened at the sight. You'd taken care of them before yourself. It was just like you to be so stupid. So selfless.
You never had a spare bedroom to begin with.
—--------------------------------
P R E S E N T
“I didn't find out until a few days later what happened.” Kite continued on.
“And when I did, Ging told me not to bring it up to her.”
“Why not?” Gon questioned.
“He said she didn't do it to be thanked, but because she could. And if she wanted to make a big deal out of it, she would've.”
“I get it.” Killua said.
“If you're friends, then there's no reason to be thanking each other. It goes without saying to help when the other person needs it.” He explained.
“I still don't really get it. Isn't it nice to show appreciation?”
At the very least, Gon figured his father would have tried to do something nice for you in return.
“Think of it like this: I didn't ask you to come after me when Illumi showed up, but you did it anyways.”
“Well it was the right thing to do.” He said as if it were a matter of fact.
One thing was for sure, he was definitely your kid.
The sound of footsteps quickly caught their attention. Eyes trained to where the noise was coming from. They could see a figure emerge from the underbrush. A woman.
“I thought I'd find you out here. Not that I couldn't sense you, buuuut still.” You greeted the silver haired hunter, not yet noticing the two boys.
“Hey.” He offered you a wave.
And while he was perfectly calm, he could sense the shock from the boy in green. The disbelief.
“I figured I'd stop by to see how you were doing. I've got some spare time before my next job.” You explained.
As you came closer, you finally took in your surroundings. The grin wiped off your face when your eyes landed on Gon. You could feel your heart start to race. Stepping back instinctively and pointing at him.
“What's that?” You asked Kite.
“I think you know.” He responded.
You shook your head rapidly. There was no way. Your nen was still intact so it couldn't be him. Unless…
“No. No I don't. I'm just. Hallucinating! That's it! Oxygen deprivation is finally kicking in!” Your attempts to find any excuse not going unnoticed.
“Why is your mom freaking out so much? I thought she'd be happy to see you.” Killua whispered to the boy in green.
Though he didn't respond. Still in shock to finally see one of his parents. He watched as you continued to panic. His own nerves in complete overdrive.
“Ha, this has gotta be a prank right?” You continued to question the silver haired hunter. But everything came to a head at one singular word.
“Mom?”
Oh shit.

AN: They could never make me hate you Ging 😞😞😞. Anyways, this'll probably be a three to four part mini-series. I underestimated how much I had to write. We will now return to our regularly scheduled program, i.e. Moon and Sun. Thank y'all for your patience!!!

Gon X Reader !
No tw !! - May add some kissing on the cheek (only once):D
Gon was leaning again your shoulder as he waited for killua to be done with his fight, well. It’ll end very soon, like really soon but.. he just wanted to be close to you, he doesn’t know why himself but he just does! But you did let him be close to you so.. that must be okay to be close to you right? But anyways, he watched killua win which made him smile and moved up as he started to clap for killua and you did too!
He ended up spending the day either fighting or watching the fighting, mostly killua’s and yours! It was fun to see you fighting and he loved the way you fought and and-, well. Just liked the way you carried yourself! It was nice, and cool! At least he found it was cool.. and Gon wanted you to see him as cool but he was oblivious to the fact that you already did and that meant he liked you in a.. not sort of a friend way. But! Anyways, Gon and killua met up with you in your hotel room after your fight, Gon didn’t understand why you were hiding in the bathroom but didn’t question it until you walked out with some bandages on your arms, he looked at you concerned as you said and i quote.
“It’s from the battle, they were pretty bad since he knew nen and… he sorta burned my arms..”
You explained as you got on the bed, trying to go as gentle as you possibly can as you continued talking to killua and gon. Killua didn’t wanna question you as he already knew that you weren’t lying but gon was still concerned, after all! burning?! That still gotta hurt at least! After Killua said he was going to head to bed for the night in his hotel room, gon stayed back to stay with you which killua gagged at as he thought gon was about to say something love-dovey at least! But in reality, gon checked on your arms and kept saying
“I just care about you, you know? I didn’t even notice that he was burning your arms!”
“Neither did i actually..”
You said as you winced in pain, gon dugged his finger into the bandages. You couldnt blame him as you already know that he didn’t know what the fuck he was doing. But he was trying, at least!! So you could try to help him learn any way as he kept checking before he noticed he was close to you. You didn’t even notice that! He smiled before getting off the bed, not thinking anything of it as you were blushing and Gon went to find something cold in your mini fridge that was left in the hotel room, he found one ice pack which could do at least. Gon put it on one of your bandages then unwrapped them to put the ice pack under the bandages and rewrapped it, maybe he knew a bit?? Gon kept talking about his day with killua and how cool killua was fighting, he sounded excited as he stopped and kept talking. You were listening to every single word, as you already knew this but you liked it when gon spoke, and you did like it when killua spoke but not the way you liked it when gon spoke.. You didnt know why really! You liked killua and gon as friends, you should like it when killua spoke the same as gons but- you didnt.. it’s just weird honestly.
“You know, if you ever need someone to talk to gon, im here! So is killua.”
“Eh? Why are you saying this?”
“Oh shush, i just. Sometimes you’re out of your emotions and sometimes you don’t even think with your head so. Why not just say that?”
“But, Why noww?”
“Gon, you shut up and say thank you.”
“Thank you, thank you a lot.”
Gon giggled before saying that. It warmed your heart to see him smile, his own smile was so confident, so filled with light, so filled with love. Everything sweet honestly, you wonder how did you get so even lucky to be friends with him and killua! Someone who’s so happy and someone who’s so cool, and being friends with them both?! You always felt lucky. Being friends with killua and gon did come with some weird things like, killua being a Zoldyck and you and gon and kurapika anddd leorio having to get him out of the zoldyck manison and. Gon being absolutely reckless which.. you can’t say much since killua and kurapika called you both reckless but still, he was even more reckless than you! And that has to say something at least since you even find yourself pretty reckless!
Gon was getting ready to go and that i meant is him getting his bag and already being ready but he was still talking to you which you didn’t even mind afterall, it was nice hearing him talk! Of course it was. As you were saying bye, you felt to do something bold and so. You gave gon a kiss on the cheek and said bye and closed the door as fast as you possibly can. You were blushing alot and walked to your bed, being slightly embarrassed as Gon smiled happily and went back to his hotel room. He didn’t think much of it really, well he did but he only thought that you were being sweet as a thank you and he made sure to give you a kiss on the cheek back too as he didn’t wanna leave you alone without giving it but you already shutted the door.. but he already got dressed for bed and bathed as well since that was already his usual, mean-while you were already fast sleep. Literally, after showering before gon and killua got in your hotel room and getting dressed as you put your Bandages on. You didn’t have much to do besides sleep now! Which made you pretty happy as you got to sleep after a long but great day!

ANDD done, ik its short but like- i actually dont know what To usually do for gon if im honest😭 but im already done with this and probably gonna do a part two bc it’s fun writing cute stuff!!! I love it so much bro, and i love writing for gon:D im happy abt this tbh, It’s cute and at least sweet!! Got a lot more stuff for yall so get ready<3 mwah!! Love you butterflies!!

How about a hxh where the reader accidentally confesses to them, whichever characters of your pick.
It was an accident! I swear!!

Basic Idea: Accidentally Confessing to the HxH Boys!
Characters: Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio Mister Leorio x Reader!
A/N: Just to clarify! For Gon and Killua this is when they are 15, so no spice will ever be used for their characters since they are minors. I was sort of tired when I made this so it may be OOC 😓 (also Killuas reader is a nervous wreck bc I know how Killua simps be.)

hiii just saw you were a new account and decided to drop by 🙉 loving the account btww
as for a suggestion, how about some kurapika dating head canons? thank you🫶
DATING HEADCANONS
aka: how the hxh main 4 act in a relationship!
characters: kurapika, leorio, killua, gon
gn!reader
kurapika—
The way your relationship started was a slow ordeal. And by that, I mean, it was a gradual shift from friendship to something… more.
You fell first, but he fell harder type of relationship.
It took him a while to realize that what he felt was love, but when he did, he was quick to act.
Sitting you down and having an adult conversation about how he felt was how he confessed.
He’s a soft lover, and protective of you. It can feel a little overbearing at times, but really he’s just trying to keep you safe.
Not the most physical out of the four, but he often has his hand on your waist or holding yours.
It would have been a while into your relationship when he finally relayed what had happened to him as a child, with his clan & all.
He’s very open about everything about himself to you after that. You’d ask him to tell you stories about his family, and he would gladly oblige, avoiding sensitive topics.
His hands would be combing through your hair as you laid your head on his lap, looking up at him as he quietly told you about his mother. His other hand would be tangled in yours, drawing little circles on the back of your hand.
He lives for those hushed moments with you, tangled in sheets as he memorizes the details of your face, just talking about anything and everything that comes to mind.
leorio—
He’s a very sexual lover in my opinion, so you’d have to be okay with that before being in a relationship with him.
He’d probably confess his love to you on a whim, probably when you’re least expecting it. He fell first and harder, that’s just the way he is.
Genuinely thinks you’re the most beautiful person he’s ever seen, and he treats you like it too.
Takes you on romantic, candlelit dinners at least once a month. An allotted day, in which he makes sure you’re free from work or any distractions, for the two of you to get dressed up and go out.
He’d be insistent that he needed to be in your arms in order to go to sleep. He claims he can’t sleep without you, but you’d occasionally find him with his head on his desk, glasses lazily strewn aside while soft snores leave his lips.
Loves it when you tie his tie. He knows how to do it himself, yes, this is true. But when your hands diligently and softly pull the fabric together around his neck, he falls even deeper in love with you.
Listens to jazz music. I will die on this hill. Pulls you into his arms when you’re trying to make dinner, and sways with you to the sound of the song playing in the background.
killua—
His favorite pastime is being with you, playing videos games. It doesn’t matter what, even better if it’s some low-quality game for duos. It’s endearing how competitive he gets, jokingly betting that he could finish the game so much faster than you could.
His fashion sense infects your fashion sense, and before long, you’re wearing his clothes. Loves when the two of you wear matching outfits, or even just similar styles. Out in public, at home, wherever you are.
Dates with him usually reside in arcades, malls, or wherever you like to go. He never lets you pay for anything, insisting that it’s nothing, even if the sum is well into the thousands.
Sharing earbuds with him is also one of his favorite things to do. You two have a shared playlist of all of the songs you like. After a few months, you notice how he has begun adding songs he thinks you’d like, and you had been adding songs you think he would like.
Buy him candy, and he will serve his heart to you on a platter. The first time you bought him those beloved chocolate robots he had loved so much, he seriously considered marrying you. Only to be dismayed when he realized that people his age shouldn’t be getting married.
He’s very sarcastic. You’ll have to put up with some downright sassy responses if you want to be in a relationship with him.
Prefers texting over calling if you’re long distance.
gon—
He radiates energy and loves to be doing something at all hours of the day. This can be good or bad depending on the type of person you are, as he adores going on hikes and traveling with you.
Likes it when you brush his hair. He doesn’t know what exactly about it he likes, but he finds himself leaning in to your touch when you card your fingers over his scalp.
Picnic dates for life. Just being outdoors with food and his partner, he could die of happiness.
Wears earth-toned clothing. You find yourself stealing his tank tops most often, because he always buys pure cotton clothes. They’re just comfier, he argues, and not at allll because he loves how they cling to your scent after you wear them.
Isn’t on his phone very much. You’ll text him asking what you think you should wear that day, and he might respond two days later with an answer. It’s frustrating sometimes, but being with him is like a breath of fresh air from such an online world.
Always loses at board games. No matter what game, from Monopoly to Life, he just can’t fully grasp the rules. Hey, at least that means you always win.
His body naturally runs really warm, so you’ll wake up in the mornings find all of the blankets are on the floor. You don’t really need them when you’re stuck to him like legos when you’re cuddling at night.
guys…….. two weeks turned into an entire month and a half IM SORRRYYYY. anyways i keep getting requests for singular characters and i always turn it in to requests for all four because honestly there’s not enough content out there for characters like leorio and gon and they deserve love too.
as always, likes and reblogs appreciated but not necessary!
