Happy New Year 2019!

A few days late, but here we are.

So, I’m anxiously waiting to hear news about an audition tape I sent in last night for a local show.  I was asked two days ago if I would be interested in doing the show and now, I’m waiting.

The wait for a cast list is always excruciating, no matter what it’s for.

Though, if I don’t get chosen, I’ll be okay with it.  I have a lot of things I want to do anyway.  No biggie.  ...okay, in all honesty, I’ll have my butt hurt moment, then get over it. 

My issue with my accident is finally settled. It’s all over and all has been taken care of.  I plan to put my settlement to good use, mainly to help me with all my future music goals and I might even invest.  I want a way to earn money when I become a mother other than working, so this could be a start.

Managing the market with a baby on my knee.  There.  Boom.  Not that I’ll be that awesome overnight, but I have Florizel to teach me :) 

The plans I have will still be in motion, just a bit slower if I end up getting into the show.  Just need a plan of attack I can follow through on.  I plan to get music up and my game finished.  I want to work on other things too, but those are the biggies.

If I can do that, I’ll have accomplished something greater than myself.  I have to accomplish something big, prove my worth.  I’m not sure if it will be a new job, but at least I can try to make something of my music.  My friends will help me as well, so that’s a plus.

Perhaps I could gain a following...would be nice.

Still waiting for a list (I’ve been writing this post over the course of the day), so I’m kinda wondering if I’m cast at all.  Got my hopes up for nothing.

It’s all good.  I’m used to disappointment.  When you do theatre, you get used to it pretty quickly.  But there is still no news, so I’ll hold out a little hope until then.

Back to the grind.  Less than two hours until freedom.
