Gross Ways Caretaker Could End Up Catching An Illness From Sickie~ A Prompt List:

1. Taking a big, wet, uncovered sneeze right in the face (bonus points if mouth was open)

2. Making the unfortunate decision of cleaning sickie's diarrhea accident without gloves

3. Getting just a liiiitle too close to puking sickie while trying to comfort them and getting barfed on

4. Catching coughed up phlegm with their bare hands out of instinct, wiping it off and getting busy, then forgetting to sanitize their hands before they unknowingly touch their face

5. First promising not to get too close to sickie, but caving when sickie is really chilled and letting them sleep in their bed with them. Personal space= gone.

6. Sickie hands them a full, snotty tissue and they take it without thinking it through

7. Sickie complains that soup tastes funny so caretaker gives the, "really? Let me see?" And proceeds to use the same spoon as sickie before they can catch themselves

8. Couple sickie and caretaker decide to live dangerously and kiss anyways, only for sickie to start uncontrollable coughing into caretaker's mouth

9. Sucking the snot out of miserably congested sickie's nose with one of those nose Frida thingys

10. At first thinking sickie isn't contagious (allergies, food poisoning, etc) and letting them get all up in their space for comfort and cuddles and then a few days later realizing the hard way that they were, in fact, contagious.

Once it's over there is kind of a melancholy that sets in, you know what I mean? This last year, 2023, was just fantastic. There was just so much work and so many different places that we went, and then finally we ended it off with The Game Awards performance. There was a launch party in Finland and then I came back and I was like... where is everybody??

yeah zoro and luffy knew usopp would come around and apologize post-w7, but the agony leading usopp to apologize bc his friends - the friends he had just fought with against the world government, and for some minutes he had taken off his mask and been part of the crew again as himself - those friends now really set sail with their new ship and their new shipwright, two better replacements for merry and him, and they ignored him, they didn't listen to him, they didn't want him back, they didn't need a liar, a burden, a weakling, a coward, and there's shame and other emotions with anger being the easiest one to handle, they leave him they leave him they leave him, and no matter what he can't let it end like this, not after everything they went through, he had to be honest at least in the end, but honesty was hard and they were leaving without him, they didn't need him, they had a new ship, they had an excellent shipwright that would take care of their new ship, so much better than he ever could, and franky was such a great guy, they wouldn't even notice him gone, and even though there were things he could do that he others couldn't, it didn't matter in that moment bc they were leaving, without him, sick of his lies and cowardice and him, they were being attacked and finally nobody had to watch out for him, protect him, save him, he would have been no help there on the ship at all, so there was really only one thing left to do before he was all alone, alone like he had never been since his mother died and that nearly broke him but he didn't have time for that right now bc *his crew* was leaving and he had to say sorry, he had to-

and suddenly he is on the ship, with the crew, with everyone and he's crying and luffy's crying and there are a lot more other tears than anyone would have expected while fleeing from the marines attack together together together, they didn't leave him, they didn't not want him back, they wanted him-

i think it helps because art is kind of just more eye-catching than text - but i also think if you want to make a text-based ask blog then nothing should stop you! i mean, who makes an ask-blog for success. there's so many other things i could be doing if i wanted to be successful. you do it because you want to do it!

I love how one of Loki’s strategies for speeding up the throughput multiplier timeline was “there needs to be less banter and camaraderie”, but apparently the only solution he found to successfully combat this was to literally take everyone’s jokes out of their mouths a half second before they say them, like the worst kind of killjoy.

To Walk a Mile In Each Others Shoes: The Homewreckers

The horns itch, around the base where they're growing in, and it is driving BDubs crazy.

Impulse is not at all sympathetic. "Scratching will only make it worse."

"I'll make you worse," BDubs grumbles back, still scratching. Impulse laughs and throws a damp rag at him to wrap around the irritated areas. Not having potions sucks.

Impulse doesn't usually spend a lot of time with Nature. Its just not usually something he focuses on.

But now the moss is talking to him.

It turns out that plants (is moss a plant?) are horrible gossips.

He glances at BDubs, yeah that makes sense actually.

It definitely helps with the home-wrecking endeavors, he'll give it that. Even if its a bit unsettling waking up in the morning to find lichen crawling up the bedposts and not just on BDubs' side.

He builds the house quickly and tries to ignore the stirring unease every time the sun begins to sink behind the horizon.
