Love how these two images show how the original Pokemon idea of "Gotta Catch Em All" has essentially changed to "Catch What You Want and Have Your Own Adventure" We're now into 1K+ Pokemon so that idea is a hefty suggestion for most people😅😅

I find it ironic that I used to work at a comic store between 2016-2108, while Nezu-Chan was suppressing my interest in any Marvel movies after Avengers Age of Ultron. I don’t even what movie Marvel Studios was filming between Madison and Park Avenues on 32 Street, and if it was either 2016 or 2017, when I missed out on running into Benedict Cumberbatch checking out the comic book store while I was having lunch across the street. As far as I could estimate, they could have been shooting either Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnorak, or Avengers Infinity War. The store didn’t relocate to 3rd Avenue until April 2018.

Twitter told me that Ash and Pikachu won’t be on the Pokemon show anymore, and even though I haven’t been watching since about 2001 that sure got me in the feelings!

Pokemon’s a thing that I have been able to connect with people of all ages about since 1998, and I’m not gonna stop! I’ll have to get familiar with the new characters though. 😁

This painting made me realize something- this famous frame doesn’t even include Pikachu’s famous tail. Because it’s actually about LOVE 💖💖💖

Guys can we just take a minute to say goodbye to the legend of childhoods himsel: Ash Ketchum. Pokemon journeys ended and so did Ash's final journey. He was a big part of many childhoods buts it's time to say goodbye...

After 25 years Ash Ketchum Departs from the Pokemon Anime Series

For the first time in 25 years, Ash and Pikachu will not be the main characters in the Pokemon Anime series. The final episode featuring Ash and Pikachu will air on January 13th, 2023. A brand new Pokemon series is set to air sometime in April 2023.

okay so even though the Ash and Goh goodbye was ages ago, i still wanted to say something about it.

So, basically, looking back at all the goodbyes Ash has had in the past with other friends, I just noticed that they seem to be the one thanking him, and saying the kind of stuff along the lines of 'I'm glad i met you', in different ways I guess. (Like Lillie literally just says it, or Serena...yeah did that 👀) as shown...

Long story short, when it's time for Ash and Goh to say goodbye, i love how bittersweet it is and how they both have that fond look on their faces too, like neither of them really want to end their journey. This isn't even the point I'm trying to make rn but it's so cute kjhadzjs

ANYWAY (look at their smiles oh my god i cant) We find that in the end ASH is the one who suddenly announces to Goh, first as well, 'I'm glad i met you.' and he even goes on to say 'Thank you' after that as well.

I honestly thought that was so sweet, bc especially after Ash has travelled to so many regions he's used to being the one to be thanked by other people and it just kind of shows how much important Goh is to him. Even Goh was surprised and the bit where he said he might cry made me want to cry too 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

OK even though i wanted to maybe have a more better goodbye (maybe i'll talk about that in a later post) this was a very sweet moment that my attention latched onto <33

I MISS THEM SO MUCH BUT I HOPE WE SEE THEM AGAIN

The future is in the palm of their hands after all <3
