Ok so Nathan is a halfling from Absalom. In Absalom slavery has recently been abolished, and Nathan is a freed enslaved person from Absalom. His backstory hasn’t changed too much, because I wanted to keep this au not too far from canon. Like not unrecognizable.

Nathan is an alchemist, with a specialty on healing people. He’s not a cleric, although they are the stereotypical healers, because I wanted to keep him distinct from Josiah.

I’m also wondering about Buck. I just have no idea what his class should be. I think I might make him a changeling, but that’s a heritage, not a class. I’m completely open to suggestions!

On the topic of JD, I was going to make him a half-elf. But then I had a thought that was really interesting to me. What if he was an android? Androids in Pathfinder are alien robots from a spaceship that crashed onto the world of Golarion long ago. They could theoretically live forever, but voluntarily undergo something called renewal, in which the die and their bodies become host to a new android soul. JD has recently come into an android body that has gone through renewal, and is still pretty young. He’s from Numeria, which is where the spaceship I mentioned earlier crashlanded. Numeria is a place full of barbarians fighting robots, of technology juxtaposed against those who hate it. In keeping with his canon backstory of being from a city, he’s from Starfall, the biggest city in Numeria. I imagine his bond with Buck is even stronger in this au, since he was literally born only a short while ago.

Jd is fascinating we’re you thinking Jd finding the crew on his own or perhaps rescued from the wreckage (would he have memories from his old life or his body having phantom memories?)

Hey everyone, sorry if I haven’t been active here as of late. Lots of RL stuff goin’ on. Like me suddenly changing jobs that could actually be life-changing for me! It will have a much shorter commute which will save lots on gas bills, which is huge for me! That, and working on Saturdays to catch up on my hours sense I had been missing work, what with getting sick and all. It’s still a bit unclear to me what my schedule’s gonna be like for me once I start this new job, with me potentially taking a graveyard shift. So I’m gonna have to take a long break from streaming ‘till I get everything figured out.

Neopets is so funny right now. It's a 24-year-old website and half its pages haven't been updated in 15 years. Its ostensible audience is children. The core active audience appears to be nostalgic 20-40-year-olds. Old code means no accounts or pets can ever be renamed. The virtual pound is full of virtual pets named after Justin Bieber. It has an economy and inflation is rampant. New ownership is combating this with the stimulus of random super-rare items via daily quests and events, while the equivalent of Neopian Upper-Crust complain that their investments are deflating. You can't say seaweed or grapes.
