Roy/Jamie prompt: Jamie is having the monster of all panic attacks. He vaguely feels someone pulling him into the boot room and the next thing he knows, he's being squeezed to the point of pain and his nostrils fill with the scent that is distinctly and none other than Roy. Jamie just melts and hangs on for dear life while Roy murmurs assurances and gives him sweet kisses all over until Jamie is calm enough to explain why his panic was triggered.

Heart wrenching.

Sorry it’s a bit short!!

Jamie can’t stop shaking. The attack is over now but the tremors stick around. Roy keeps kissing his hand. “Baby? Wanna talk about it?”

Jamie shudders. He starts playing with Roy’s fingers. “My dad. He called me. Said he knew about us. Was gonna out us.”

Roy inhales. “I can kill him.”

Jamie laughs. He turns around and crawls into Roy’s lap so he can tuck his head into Roy’s neck where the cologne is strongest. “Oh fuck no he’s not worth it. I just hate that he brought you into this.”

Roy kisses Jamie’s head. “You’re my boyfriend Jamie. I’ll do anything with you. For you.”

Jamie sits up and kisses Roy. “You’re fucking lovely. I love you.”

Roy smiles at him, he brushes Jamie’s hair out of his face. “I love you too. You okay to go home now?”

Jamie nods. He stands and pulls Roy up. “Home sounds good to me.” Roy pulls him into a hug. “Alright baby. Home. We’ll pick up food on the way.”

Jamie bounces in place. “Chinese?”

Roy laughs. He grabs Jamie’s hand and leads him out of the room. “Anything you want.”

When they get home they end up on the couch, Jamie has his legs tossed over Roy’s. They’re eating out of the boxes, watching reruns of Batman.

“If you really want to say fuck your dad take a photo right now and post it.”

Jamie blinks. “What?”

Roy smiles at him. He runs a finger over Jamie’s knee. “I want to come out with you. Have for months. Fuck your dad for moving up the schedule but I’d never regret this.”

Jamie can’t help it, the tears run down his face. Before he lets Roy help it he grabs his phone.

He snaps a photo of Roy holding his legs and the box of food in his lap. He captions it ‘date night with the best boyfriend.”

He shows the phone to Roy. He gets a smile but Rou takes the phone and adds another photo.

It’s one Jamie took yesterday of them kissing in a reflection of an elevator. “Really get our point across.”

Jamie grins as he hits post. He sets the boxes of food on the table.

He crawls into Roy’s lap. “I love you thank you.” Roy kisses him. “Don’t you dare thank me for doing something that comes so easy to me. I love loving you.”

They slide down flat onto the couch. Jamie might’ve had a horrible day but this night is turning around fast.

My biggest question about Robotnik needing Shadow to track down Sonic is… doesn’t he know where Sonic and the entire cast live? He can just call a drone strike on his house and be done with it.

I haven’t the foggiest, hon. I’m sure that there’s a good reason for that. Also, apparently there’s a reference to Dr. Robotnik and Sonic begrudgingly teaming up at one point in the film. Dr. Robotnik calls Sonic “Dork-u-pine.”

Hopefully we’ll get a clearer idea of what happened later today when the event calms down. I’ll keep looking around in case I find anything new.

hai koipalm my beloved friend koipalm i think that time they had a kid together is pretty up there on the list (<- biased cause i like gyeolie as well) and also the time they slept in the same bed and then didn't talk about it ever again and the tour guide/tourist roleplay was very. and then when they were fighting in the dungeon against riette + those other two s-classes or whatever and shj was like "do you know how to dance" and hyj was like "what the fuck are you talking about" (he did not say that). also that time shj tried to drown hyj in a fish tank. both times that shj said that he would fall for hyj /romantic. hyj convincing shj that they know each other by listing off their shenanigans together and shj was like "are you saying that i fell in love" (related to the fish tank). and when they conned the japanese amaterasu guild members together (related: shj knowing hyjs coffee order better than hyj) and also when shj did aegyo at the pool because he can't act his age. and of course we can't forget the #insanegirl conversation they had at the flooded dungeon gate about being close for a week, and when shj hugged yj after everyone came out of the weird dungeons safely and of course the cleaning should be water cleaning chapters ft. shj handing over the coat to yerimie to protect her. and him being cranky about meeting the fake yoojin during the fog chapters. and we're not there yet but when hyj was being kidnapped again and shj wouldn't [redacted] even though he Should have. :) :) :) :). also "hyunjae-hyung". and also when hyj's fear resistance got lowered and shj tried to intimidate him but yoojin called him a cunt and lied about green onions (<- related to the kid they have together)

BUT my top #jinjae moment is sung hyunjae's birthday party for sure. yeah the whole thing. yoojin throwing a tantrum because he didn't get an invite. the fucking pink yarn. sung hyunjae blowing up the cruise ship and yoojin desperately trying to minimise the damage beforehand because he just KNEW that shj was gonna try something. sopping wet pathetic meowmeow of a man sung hyunjae crawling out of the ocean and not knowing how to eat convenience store kimbap. hyj getting him a piece of cake and singing happy birthday. becoming partners (in business). "it felt like the first time i saw sung hyunjae as a person" <- THIS. AND THEN THIS CONVO -> "please don't laugh, i might become fond" "hadn't you been quite so, already" "absolutely not" "i've already become so, you see."

in conclusion, sung hyunjae fell first. thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Jason never got to be 16. makes me sad.

Not to deny that Jason not being able to make it to 16 in his first life is sad, but I mean he did technically end up making it, and he made it to 17 and 18 and 21 and so on and so forth, it just happened "in round two" so to speak.

What I think is sadder though, is that depending on whether he was 15 or 14 years old when this happened:

There are one of two ways he would've spent his sixteenth year.

Option 1 (if he was 15 at the time of his ressurection):

Or Option 2 (if he was 14 at the time of his ressurection):

Saw someone say that Nia keeping secret was validated by Tyrils whole dilemma and shit behavior about it and yeah soooo true but also I think that. It shouldn't have been part of MCs plot. Like what if it wasn't MC who was told to keep her shadow secret but MAL.... like they have spent most of the year together they worked closely on the ophranage so plenty of time to build more trust between each other and Mal acting weird and closed off would be at least somewhat justified... as well as his sort of immunity to shadow attack like what if Nia had the ability to shield him bc he knew about her powers and didn't need explanation. Like I'm actually so pissed off that they created unnecessary drama for MC when the set up was already there that would have had deepened two LIs arcs and test their bonds with the group and MC.. but no its always annoying variation of liar reveal

I read this ask yesterday I think and have really been contemplating how I want to respond to it because I have so many thoughts and don’t want this to turn into a lengthy, disorganized mess 🤦🏽‍♀️ But anyway, from an objective standpoint this does make sense. And I do hate that MC was held responsible instead of Nia. (Although it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I thought everyone would be angry with us, which would’ve put me off Mal specifically even more considering his behavior so far — more on that later though. But it was really just Tyril if you picked one option and Nia herself if you picked the other based on some screenshots I saw. Which bitch, how is MC betraying your confidence when you’re literally standing in front of everyone looking like lit charcoal on a damn grill??? The secret’s already out! But I digress…). However, I know that Nia being coddled is a part of her arc and is contributing to her current shadow state and overall growth regardless of how annoying it is.

Back to your main point though, on a personal level I don’t think I would want Mal to be the one hiding Nia’s secret because I feel that would create a lot of potential for romantic undertones and he’s already been showing less genuine concern for MCs who are romancing him than he should anyway imo. He keeps saying he thought we were dead/going to die, he’s happy we’re back, things were so hard without us, etc., yet his actions don’t actually align with that. He wants to protect everyone so much to the point he’s willing to “sacrifice himself”, but he barely reacts to MC continuously being placed in near death situations? Idk it just feel like we’re priority #974127 on his list.

And then there’s the whole “you slept through it” situation, which I know I keep bringing up but is so serious in my eyes! He gets to diminish and dismiss what MC went through — something we don’t get to do when he’s crying about how hard it was throughout that year and us being ripped from the group was what caused the hardship in the first place! Like imagine if we were like “You didn’t have it that hard, Mal. You got to move on, continue to rob the rich, and open an orphanage while I was strapped down getting my blood drained and no one came to save me” 😐 And the sad thing is that I know it will never be addressed because it was something they used as a throwaway line to punish people who didn’t have the Inspire skill. (Which why you would make a character say something that damn cruel to the MC who is his friend or love interest as a throwaway line is beyond me, but whatever). Either way, my point is that it’s already bad enough that MC still feels like an outsider in the group (to me at least). So Mal being so closed off because he and Nia were keeping secrets on top of everything I just mentioned would be even worse imo
