Thank you! Going to go with Kelsa Kine, the daughter of Ryscha (my Hero of Tython) and Lana Beniko.

17. Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people?

Kelsa is an introvert. She actually deals with crowds really well. They let her blend in and become nobody which is often useful to her when acting as a smuggler or mercenary.

24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?

Her cousin, Élise Kine. The pair were inseparable when growing up and even after losing their parents and the Alliance. But eventually Élise betrayed Kelsa during a job so she could steal a holocron. Kelsa now tries to avoid her cousin but when they do cross paths they clash violently

To a much lesser degree she is an enemy of both the Empire and Republic. Although she is only an enemy of the Sith and Empire because of her heritage and potential power while the Republic and Jedi only see her as a nuisance because of her criminal activities.

Hm I guess there’s two ways of approaching this list. The top 5 games I’ve played this year, and my opinion on the top 5 best games released in 2020...

I haven’t played AC:V yet, but based upon all I’ve seen of it, I know I’m gonna like it, even though I was skeptical of the setting. Also I know adding a re-release to this list is sorta cheating but I gotta be honest, not many games grabbed my attention this year, and if they did, they turned out to be lackluster (Like Cyberpunk :/)

WIP Wednesday or Whenever

Not technically Wednesday my-time anymore but!! that’s why it says “Whenever” lmao.

Ashara blinked. Then she felt a tug at her heart and her expression softened considerably, “Altrethir--that... He wouldn’t have?”

The Sith’s gaze fell before them, out into the pool of water before them. “Once more, the evidence is much too obvious for my liking. Which then leads me to think that perhaps Theron wants us to know. He is dropping hints, though subtle, in hopes we pick up on them. But then that opens up the question of why he is going through with all of this.”

“He did a lot of undercover agent stuff in the SIS. This could be a similar kind of mission, maybe one that he’s got to keep quiet about.”

Altrethir hesitated, his lips gently pursed thoughtfully.

“Either way, I’m sorry – this must be incredibly difficult for you to go through.”

“It has been... challenging,” Altrethir sighed. “I know there is more to this, but logical reasoning hasn’t shielded my heart from aching.”

“What will you do?” Ashara asked, her tone gentle and quiet.

“Continue things as normal, but I shall be ever more observant of his behavior, attitude, and wording.” And if Altrethir was lucky, he could even get some questions answered in the most subtle of ways. “And I shall be prepared to play whatever role I’m needed to.”

World Building Thing

Thanks for the tag @palepinkycat! You know what? I am going to talk about one of my Dragon Age OCs, thank you!

I’ll tag @joystick-enthusiast​, @a-muirehen​, @blitzindite​, @gothwarlocks​ and anyone else interested in sharing some information about their OCs.

In my current (work in progress) multi-warden world state, Lara Cousland plays a much larger role in the Ferelden Civil War than just using the Warden treaties and then following Eamon’s political plans.

Being the daughter of a Teyrn, Lara was one of the most powerful and well known individuals in Ferelden (game was dumb for not acknowledging this). She used this to unite a large part of the Bannorn before the landsmeet even happened.

Lara's main political ally was not Eamon but her aunt, Bann Jessamine Mac Eanraig of the Storm Coast (an OC as we don’t know what Eleanor Cousland’s siblings were named). It was on Lara's order that the raiders of the Storm Coast sailed around the coast to evacuate Gwaren, which Loghain had abandoned. This gave Lara and her coalition a huge boost in the number of troops they had and also further served to highlight Loghain’s failures as a ruler. Bann Jessamine would also begin to raid Tevinter ships, saving many elves from slavery and helping to gain the support of many Alienage elves who joined the army to help fight the Darkspawn (though my Warden Tabris was also largely responsible for gaining Alienage support).

Part of her forces would go on to harass the growing Darkspawn horde in order to buy her more time to unite Ferelden and to save citizens still trapped in the south. She would also personally lead part of her army in several small yet significant victories against Loghain’s forces as he tried to forcibly take control of the Bannorn.

Her actions gave many of the Banns a figurehead that they could rally behind so when she finally did march to Denerim for the Landsmeet, she already had most of the Bannorn on her side or at least more sympathetic to her than Loghian.

So, while she might have ended up placing Alistair on the throne, everyone in Ferelden knew that victory in the civil war and against the Darkspawn were because of her.

☕ Give us one (or more if you feel like it) of your OCs deep dark secrets! Why do they keep it hidden? Spill the tea!

Ooh a difficult one! Lidian really isn’t a fan of secrets, since they often make things a lot harder than they should be, but there are some things she tends to keep to herself. One of the biggest ones is probably that she actually really dislikes politics. Helping at peace talks was a big part of her job at the Order, and she would gladly mediate if it means bringing people a step closer to peace, but the sheer arrogance and stubbornness she encounters in most politicians can drive her crazy. On the other hand, a good outcome can really lift her spirits, and even though she has often said she’d quit this entire politics business and go full shadow, she couldn’t get herself to walk away from it entirely. It would however be unwise to let it be publicly known how much she dislikes politicians because then she can forget about ever getting any of them to agree with her again.

🌙 If your OC could have one wish come true what would it be and why? Would there be consequences to this wish or would they regret it once they get what they want? What would they give in return for this wish to come true?

So this ties in with the backstory I have already completely thought out but have yet hardly written anything about for Levak. If there’s one thing he could wish for it would be that his brother and sister were still alive. They were both killed within two years of each other when the three of them were trying to survive on Nar Shaddaa. More than anything he wishes they could’ve been there with him when he bought his first starship and finally made the jump to hyperspace. As for consequences, he often wonders what would have happened if they had not died that young. He’d have a lot less nightmares for sure, but who knows where he’d be right now. Levak would probably give about anything to be able to talk to them again, but somehow the thought that he might never have met his current friends if all that hadn’t happened scares him too. He does not want to lose or hurt his companions, but apart from that there is nothing he would not give up if it meant giving his siblings the chance to see the stars as well.

Being a smuggler, you would think you would meet Daesha on Nar Shaddaa. But you actually find her on Tatooine, smuggling medical supplies to a Twi’lek settlement. She joins after you help her smuggle the last of her shipment, defending it from pirates. She would mainly be a medic but is always willing to show off her aim, of course. Conversations with her would mostly entail talking about past jobs, how she became a smuggler, and why she operates the way she does. She has a few short side missions that mostly entail delivering smuggled goods to those in need. She would be a romancable companion, for both male and female PCs.
