Hi hello! I was just wondering what camera you use to take the photos you upload? They're really pretty! I know nothing about cameras/photography but I always love seeing the things you upload for some reason :) they're neat

actual picture of my face reading this ask. this is SO so lovely, anon.

the good news is: it’s just a phone camera! i have an iphone 12 pro, an addiction to portrait mode, an adobe lightroom subscription, & a lot of photographer exes (& one photographer girlfriend). i also got the summer grace photography preset pack that makes some really gorgeous prepackaged faux film edits. (it’s expensive, but gpresets pretty regularly runs 15-30% off sales if you’re patient.) sometimes i get a $3.99 week subscription to the focos app & edit a batch of photos at a time.

other than that? it’s literally all about practice. i have a terrible memory, so i take a lot of photos bc they help me fill in the gaps. at some point, i started paying attention to which ones looked good to me & then i starting figuring out why they looked good. the rest came one little breakthrough at a time.

That moment the doctor told me I was 20weeks pregnant I had that sense of fear ,dread, how could I have let this happen again kind of moment .
