Jace - I did. I didn’t forget about her, or what she did, but I don’t care anymore. She can marry the asshole for all I care. 

Morgyn - I have to say, I wasn’t expecting this. I thought you would be an absolute wreck. 

Jace - I was a fucking mess, Morgyn. The people that brought me here, they were the ones to fish me out. 

Evanora - They seem really great, bestie.

Jace - They really are… [sighs] I thought I would be alone dealing with all of this mess, and yeah I do know I was the one that chose to leave, I know you would have been there for me too, and believe me, I miss you all like hell, but… Glimmerbrook is just too small. I would run into them, and I wasn’t and still am not ready for that. So when I found that town and found them, I didn’t feel so lost anymore. Those people helped even without knowing what the hell was wrong with me. 

Grace - Really? They don’t know why you left?

Tommax - What’s keeping you from telling them? 

Jace - Honestly? [chuckles] I don’t know. At this point, they are my friends, and I love them… I guess I’m just afraid they look at me like I’m broken… That I’m not “Jace” anymore, but just a dumb guy who got screwed over.
