Normally I see that you are going insane over that sentence, but let me tell you guys, how they translated “an old flame” in my country. They translated it quite literally as “burnt out flame”, making the whole sentence to sound it like she is talking about Will visiting her in the meaning of her being an old, not passionate anymore lover being left behind by Hannibal, and not about Will visiting Hannibal. However right after this sentence comes that one, so...

I would like to thank the translators from my country for translating it that way and ignoring the fact that as a whole “old flame” means “a former lover”

In the Senti-Mari AU, sometimes Marinette, Kagami, and Felix all swap amoks and try to see who can resist the commands the best. Alya or Adrien have to hold the Peacock Miraculous and referee. So it's just

15. Rec a fic you wrote or posted in 2023

I am proud of them all, however. I need to tell you guys about Everything I did (I did for you).

He would have stayed there forever, if he could. This was how it was always supposed to be: the two of them together, united by something stronger than blood — stronger than magic.

Adrien knew he was stalling, crushed by the enormity of the truth. He just needed a few seconds more.

“I think your father has the Peacock Miraculous,” he finally whispered. “And I’m going to take it back.”

Probably the fic I put the most work into, from a technical perspective. As you can tell from the summary, this is a role reversal focusing on the Senticousins. In a universe where Colt kept the Peacock, Felix has no choice but to remain compliant to protect his cousin; while Adrien is willing and eager to cataclysm a bitch.

If you’ve read my meta posts before, you’ll know that I associate Adrien with water and Felix with fire. In this fic, the imagery is flipped, and actively trying to kill them — a representation of how unnatural these roles are for them.

But… They are also forced to express their love in a way the other understands: Felix through self-sacrifice, Adrien through unspeakable violence. As such, their relationship is a lot stronger that it is in canon as of S5.

If this was Gray’s job he would’ve made $1,393.84/week assuming a 38 hour work week, and full-time workers in Australia earn an average of $1,769.80/week not including overtime, bonuses, and commissions. But the job listing is part-time so he wasn’t even working 38 hours. I checked similar job listings like Staging Operator and Lighting Operator and they made less. In conclusion, I set out to prove that Gray didn’t have to turn to a life of crime and I accidentally proved that he did. But maybe there’s a better electrician job at the Sydney Opera House that isn’t available so it wasn’t listed?
