Perfect for the start of November, I’m taking a cue from my Gratitude box. (Link in profile.) One of the cards in it asks why you’re grateful for a difficult person. . I love this challenge. It forces us to recognize the complexity of people. Even someone we despise - a politician, a celebrity, a frenemy - can leave a positive impact on us if we look for it. And finding it balances us. And keeps us from being too much of a dick. . My three things? 1. They are funny sometimes. 2. They nudge me out of my comfort zone. 3. They know how to focus all eyes on them. . So come on.
