Flytrap is rolling in it’s busy season. I’m pretty sure last year was peak, but it’s still pretty busy this year. . Last year, I was flummoxed. I didn’t have enough product, kept scrambling to produce more, and didn’t se or do much all month. . This year I’m better prepared. My days have been more relaxing thus far. I spend an hour or two reading every morning. And we started doing @hellofresh for the season (which my husband cooks - and really enjoys) so a lot of my normal chores are lifted. I also did a lot of meal prep this fall so if I don’t want to cook a big meal, I don’t. . What about you? Are you busy right now? If so, can you commit to an hour of quiet “you time” every day this week? The perfect hump day story session. . For me, a huge professional weakness has always been diversity. I’m competent at many things, but an expert at none. Corporate America is a great place for specialists to really excel, but an okay writer, designer, marketer, and brander could never get my legs in that environment. .
