So like, it only JUST OCCURRED to me that, since they're planning on expanding the Sonic films into a full on cinematic universe, there exists a very real possibility that we could eventually get a solo Tails movie! (Or maybe a mini series like Knuckles, but we'll see)

But if that happens, if we do get a Tails movie (or mini series), how frikkin awesome would it be if it was based on Tails Adventure?? :D

Just imagine our fluffy lil genius fox boy going up against a whole army of kooky birds using only his wits and various gadgets!

And come on, how great would it be to see this magnificent crazy bastard fully realized in cinematic form?? (I wonder who could play him? lol)

Egg Empire

The Egg Empire’s forces are a combination of Eggman’s forces before and after the Genesis wave. Some forces are designated to various continents while others are utilized for certain operations or more specific targets, unless mentioned the more or less serve the same purpose as they did in the comics

The leader of the Egg Empire is a large computer orbiting space. Many assume it to be an alien intelligence, in reality it is the digitized mind of Dr. Ivo Kintober now know as Robotnik. Many of Eggman’s more talkative henchmen man the space station while commanders are contacted through terminals on the surface or other Orbital stations. He is the creator of many of the Mecha’s used by the Egg Empire, many of which are based on various robots from the franchise. Many of the faction act independently and see the Empire as more of an Alliance than a chain of command Including the Battle Birds, Conquering Storm, and Dark Legion

Their Initial assault on the planet was to roboticize many of the citizens and use them as the cores for various larger robot drones called Robians, however the Bem appeared and neutralized the process to prevent it from spreading to other worlds. The After effects play out the same as in the comics, with many former commanding robots taking to joining the empire solely to protect the former Robians and undergo the cyberzation process. Those who underwent the process are noted for having greater piloting performance than normal humans, Mobian Races are used by the Egg Empire to propagandize the procedure

Random Sonic Forces headcanons

Cream, Vanilla, and Gemerl are part of the Resistance, they just weren’t shown onscreen. Cream and Vanilla are medics in the army, so they stay off the frontlines. Vanilla especially forbid Cream from fighting on the battlefield. Gemerl is one of the troops, he just was fighting offscreen with Espio.

Blaze was caught up in her own dimension shenanigans along with Marine and that’s why she wasn’t in Forces. 

The Resistance didn’t track down and use the Chaos Emeralds due to how long it would take to find them as well as not having enough resources to spare in finding them. Besides that only 5 people total in the world are capable of even accessing their powers and only one of them (Silver) was physically and mentally capable of fighting and using them. (Sonic being captured/presumed dead, Knuckles currently being commander, Tails in the middle of a breakdown, Shadow appearing to be on the side of the enemy.) Plus trying to locate them might have drawn the attention of Eggman, who has more resources and manpower to track them down and they didn’t want to give Eggman another advantage besides the Phantom Ruby. 

Sonic was in charge of a team of troops named the “Swifts” or “Sonic’s Swifts” made of the fastest and agile in the army who got their name by making quick, smash and grab moves and tactics. He’s sorta a father/big brother figure to them. 

Angel Island is one of the Resistance's headquarters and best defended locations. Many refugees were taking shelter there during the war. It was a last resort location to retreat to should Eggman crush all of the other bases. 

 Sonic’s torture consisted of copious amounts of waterboarding and electrical torture, besides just being left in a cramped cell alone, for months on end.

Silver was the second in command of the Resistance. 

GUN was heavily demolished in the time skip after Sonic’s capture. They were caught off guard and did try to preemptively stop Eggman afterwards, but failed. The few remnants left work in tandem with the Resistance, with Rouge (and later Shadow) as their liaison. 

The Resistance has both humans and anthros in its ranks.

Fang the Sniper was hired by Eggman during the war to be his go-to assassin, paid handsomely to shoot down any high ranking Resistance members.

Bean the Dynamite and Bark the Polar Bear were helpers of the Resistance. Bean even became their main expert on explosives and munitions. 

The Babylon Rogues semi-worked for the Resistance as couriers/scouts, using their Extreme Gear, to dodge, evade, and briskly deliver information back to base. They didn’t like Eggman taking over the world and obviously didn’t want to become robot slaves in his empire, but they weren’t super patriotic about the Resistance and were mostly in it for themselves. 

The ships the Resistance uses were actually stolen from Eggman’s fleet and repainted. 

Infinite’s real name is Zero. 

The Battle Kukku Empire fought against Eggman for awhile before being forced to surrender. The Great Battle Kukku XV arranged a pact of surrender with the doctor and agreed to supply his soldiers and forces to fight in the Empire in exchange for not being robotomized and keeping their free will. Speedy worked secretly as a mole for the Resistance, smuggling information to them during this time, hoping his onetime rival Tails would receive it and help free his people and country.

There were other robot designs used in the war, we just didn’t see them.

Metal Sonic was actually involved in the war, the times we saw him just happened to be the illusion copies.  

All of the Deadly Six are dead. Chaos is also still “dead”, having ascended to the afterlife with Tikal at the end of SA1. 

 Honey the Cat worked with Amy in communications trying to give hope to the world’s and Resistance’s discouraged masses. Together they created “Radio Free Rose”, the voice of the Resistance for anyone to tune into for survival advice and directions to the nearest Resistance refugee camps. 

Witchcart and her minions, Bearenger, Focke, and Carrotia were in Eggman’s Empire as part of his Egg Fleet. 

Eggman and Infinite’s final plan for the destruction for the Resistance was called “Operation Sunny Side Down”. 

Eggman’s army had humans and anthros besides the illusion copies.

Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel were Resistance members, both fighting on the frontline as well as providing aid to the many camps for refugees fleeing Eggman occupation. 

Many wisps joined the Resistance freely to provide their power to the Wsipons, but some were forcibly captured and extracted of energy to give ammo to the wispons. Some Wisps were even forcibly corrupted into Void Wisps to produce the requisite energy for the Void wispon. A dark secret many higher ups in the Resistance try to ignore or hide out of shame. 

There are other Wispons besides Burst, Lightning, Cube, Void, Hover, White, Drill, and Asteroid. We just don’t see them since the other Resistance members are using them. 

There was an offscreen fight between Sonic and Infinite where Infinite pulled out his sword (called the “Forever Edge”) and attacked Sonic with it in a sword fight to the death. Sonic barely manages to survive it and escape using his sword fighting skills he gained from the Arthurian legends. . 

All of the other species in the concept art were involved in the war, including the dragons. We just didn’t play as them. 

The Avatar (or at least Buddy/Gadget) was born and raised in Sunset Heights/”the City”. 

Eggman Nega is the ruler of the world in the far future, Ivo Robotnik having made a dynasty of the Robotnik family line. This is one of the reasons why Silver travels back in time. 

Shadow is now pretty widely hated and has bad publicity in the world due to the copies of him being seen causing havoc in the world for 6 months. 

The Post-Forces section:

The war for the planet would go down in history as either the “Egg War”, or the “Phantom War” .The battle that finally took down Infinite and Eggman in the Eggman Empire Fortress outside the Imperial Tower is called “The Battle of Mortar Canyon” 

There is a manhunt for Eggman and Infinite after the war which every government in the world is a part of. Though they’re probably hiding out in a remote cave somewhere in Shamar, or at least Eggman is. 

Besides going out to see the world as per usual, Sonic also left to search out and help rebuild other settlements across the globe. Part of this is an attempt to keep his mind preoccupied and off the crushing sense of guilt for all of this happening in the first place from not being able to stop Eggman and Infinite the first time as well as serving as an escape from his mental traumas from the war/his time as a POW. 

Therapy. Lots and lots of therapy happens for those involved in the war. Sonic tries to ignore his mental trauma and hide his issues from the rest but they know better and basically drag him kicking and screaming to group talks among themselves on how to deal with everything they’ve seen and faced and how to deal with them in a healthy way to start healing. He eventually appreciates them doing this and how much they care about his physical and mental health although he never outright tells them so. 

The field of robotics takes a huge blow in reception to the public due to what Eggman did and many now choose different fields of study and research while the people in the field are now looked at with suspicion towards them and their creations.  

The top brass of the Resistance receive medals of honor after the war, along with several soldiers who went above and beyond the call of duty.

Siamese Dream headcanons

GBK has very poor paternal instincts. It's not that he doesn't care for Speedy, but due to his heritage and position, he tends to treat his son more like a soldier than a son. He is proud of how far Speedy has come, and it's not like he's outright abusive or anything, it's just that he knows how to captain better than he knows how to parent. Because of this, Speedy did end up largely neglected, and raised more by Dr. Fukurokov and the rest of the crew than his own father.

Eggman Enterprises

Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik

Dr. Eggman is, in his own words, the greatest scientific genius in the world, though that has come into question in recent years-- after all, with all the aliens the world has come to know, perhaps it's more accurate to say he's the greatest genius in the universe! But, like any good scientist, he uses his mind for good. What's more virtuous a goal than a perfect, worldwide theme park wherein everything is under his own control? No lines, no hunger, no fear, no individual thought-- it would be a paradise! (Also available in Classic flavor!)

Metal Sonic

Metal Sonic is Dr. Eggman's right-hand 'bot, and the stoic enforcer of the Eggman Empire. Don't let his silence fool you, however, because underneath his metal shell is an introspective and determined robot, who constantly strives to improve himself. Sometimes that drive gets him in trouble with his creator-- there was that one time he tried to rule the world on his own-- but any rebellious intentions have long since been scrubbed from his programming, and now he is a perfect, cold, calculating, nigh-unstoppable menace to all he encounters. (Also available in Classic flavor!)

Sage

Sage is among the bad doctor's greatest creations, and is his dearest (and only) daughter. Though she was originally programmed as a mere invasive AI, she has developed into a very personable young girl. Dedicated to the protection of her father and the propogation of the Eggman Empire, she has been integrated into the EggNet, and commands the digital side of Eggman's evil escapades. This doesn't mean she's nonpresent, however, as she can project a hard-light hologram in the physical world nearly anywhere that has a connection point to the EggNet.

Orbot & Cubot

The mechanical Abbot and Costello of the Eggman Empire, these two serve as Dr. Eggman's bumbling personal assistants. Orbot tends to play straightman to Cubot's bumbling fool, but let it be known, neither are particularly competent. Not that they seek to impress in that regard anyway-- unless Metal or Sage are involved. They desperately wish to make good impressions on their "siblings", which tends to get them into even more trouble than when they don't try at all.

Team Hooligans

Fang the Hunter

The brains behind Team Hooligans, Fang is cutthroat bounty hunter living in the Mirage Saloon Zone, not that he ever stays in one place for long. His jobs tend to take him all over the world, especially when he does work for the diabolical Dr. Eggman. Indeed, Fang will take most any job if it pays high enough. The man'd even sell out his own mother for a pretty ring.

Bark the Polar Bear

Bark is the brawn and the heart of Team Hooligans. He is a calming presence around his two fellow criminals, and though he is one of the most wanted men in the world thanks to his association with Bean, those who get to know him tend to feel he isn't that bad a guy, he's just fallen in with a bad crowd. Whether they're the right crowd for him or not, however, he is fiercely loyal to his team, and will fight to the last to keep them safe.

Bean the Dynamite

Some say he's a duck, others say he's a woodpecker. What does the man himself say? He's Bean! Beanaldo Remington Beaksworth IV, to be exact! Yes, Bean isn't a particularly stable person. In fact, some would go so far as to call him insane. Which makes him very dangerous when he uses his trademark bombs. It's unknown exactly how he creates those high explosives as if from nothing, but then, much of Bean's existence defies explanation. All anyone knows is that he's the Hooligans' wildcard, and he's better left avoided at all cost.

Battle Kukku Empire

Great Battle Kukku XV

Don't let the name of his army, or his swaggering steps fool you-- the Great Battle Kukku is more of a pirate captain than an imperial ruler. His crew? The Grand Battle Kukku Armada. He is the self-proclaimed ruler of the skies, and will raid any town, facility, or ruins to sustain that rule. He also has the ability to create bombs at his leisure, much like a certain Dynamite Duck...

Battle Kukku XVI / "Speedy"

Speedy is the second in command of the Battle Kukku Empire, and the son of the Great Battle Kukku. He prides himself on his fast flying, boosted even further when he wears a special flight suit developed by Kukku chief science officer Dr. Fukurokov. He believes the skies belong only to the birds-- even bats and bugs are lesser in his eyes. But the one being he truly hates is one Miles "Tails" Prower-- no wingless mammal is welcome in Speedy's skies!

Dr. Fukurokov

Dr. Fukurokov is the greatest mind the clouds have ever seen. It's arguable whether he rivals Dr. Eggman in intelligence, but he frankly doesn't give a hoot if he does or not. Eggman may have more powerful tech, but none can match the developmental potential of Fukurokov's machines! Ultimately, Dr. Fukurokov is a curious and inquisitive creature by nature. He is always ready to study, and always willing to adapt. Just...make sure you don't pronounce his name wrong.

Witchcarters

Witchcart

A crystalmancer with a sharp tongue and an even sharper hat, Witchcart may limit herself with the rails she sets up, but don't underestimate her! With her magic wand, she can turn anyone who would dare oppose her into crystal! Still, she's somewhat of a lesser villain compared to Dr. Robotnik, content to pull low-level jobs like kidnapping Flickies or taking over a single small island. She's less "horrible evil" and more "mischief-maker".

Hocke-Wulf

Hocke-Wulf is something of the brains behind the Witchcarters' operations-- ironic, considering he seems to have lost his own mind somewhere along the way. This laughing fool is surprisingly tech-savvy, and is in-fact responsible for making all the tech that the Witchcarters don't just steal from Eggman, and refitting all the tech that they do!

Bearanger

What Bearanger lacks in temper control, he makes up for in strength. Far from the brightest bear on the block, and kind of just frustrated all the time, Bearanger is the clear muscle of the group. He's the one with the strongest grudge against Tails, save Witchcart herself, and that is not unique. Bearanger has a lot of grudges, even among his own teammates. He will never forgive Carrottia for eating his clearly-marked smoked salmon sandwich.

Carrottia

Carrottia is the...heart? Of the Witchcarters' team? No, that can't be right... perhaps she's the working hands? Oh, definitely not. In fact, it's unclear what exactly she contributes to the group, if anything at all. She's far more content to lazily float about in her Carrot Cruiser and half-heartedly carry out the orders she's given. She's quite lackadaisical, and spends much of her time asleep, even when she really shouldn't.

Other

Surge the Tenrec

Suffering from psychosis, amnesia, various traumas, and a bad case of the old identity crisis, Surge is a cyborg created by the vile Dr. Starline to not just kill, but replace Sonic the Hedgehog. Ever since the dear doctor's death at the hands of Dr. Eggman and a particularly vengeful boulder, Surge and her companion have struck out on their own. Driven mad by hypnosis and months of psychological abuse, her only goal now is to burn the entire world down, sift through the ashes for the bodies of the ones she loathes the most, and hang them up on the wall as trophies for her grandest accomplishment.

Kitsunami the Fennec

Kit is the Tails to Surge's Sonic. To that end, he is endlessly devoted to her, even at the cost of his own personal safety and wellness. He will do anything she says with a polite "yes ma'am!", and without her has a tendency to shut down and shut the world out. Don't let his appearance and demeanor fool you, though. He is a living weapon just like his partner, and his control over ice and water makes him a very dangerous foe on the rare occasions he lets loose. He is prone to outbursts of hellish fury when he believes Surge to be hurt or worse, and would tear down the world itself to protect her.

Mr. Tinker

An alternate version of everyone's least favorite doctor, Mr. Tinker is everything Dr. Eggman is not. Kind, caring, humble, and beloved by his community. Though a mad scientist by the name of Dr. Starline tried to revert him to his old, evil self, somehow Tinker managed to survive the torture and conditioning and was rescued by Sonic and friends. Now, he seeks only a humble life helping to fix the gizmos and gadgets of those around him, with no sign of the Eggman ever returning. He has been having these awful nightmares of late, though...

Clash the Clydesdale

Hailing from the Special Zone, Clash is a thug with no morals or qualms. Tall in stature and short on temper, she has little patience for those who obstruct or vex her.

Her physical strength, though not properly measured, is comparable to some of the strongest individuals in the world (not including those of mystical origins or those that have been otherwise enhanced). Though her abilities are great, her overconfidence often gets the better of her and she tends to rush into situations without thinking them through.

She also has a preoccupation with proving her physical abilities and will sometimes align herself with more ambitious individuals just for the chance to test her mettle against others who would oppose such forces.

I’ve recently come to the realization that there is a surprising lack of anthro horses in the Sonic franchise. I honestly cannot recall seeing one in any form of Sonic-related media. So, I decided to make one myself.

The decision to have her originate from the Special Zone was inspired by Fang/Nack in the games. Her tall stature and “Popeye arms” were directly inspired by Battle Kukku XV’s design.

I had difficulty deciding what color her outfit should be, but I eventually just settled on purple (my favorite color).
