Green Book has been criticized by a part of the audience as it is quite focused on Mortensen's character, who eventually plays the role of a white savior. In our opinion, the story is more about friendship rather than racism. The two characters learn from each other and grow together despite their differences and being white vs colored, something that could be particularly troublesome in the 60s - not common for sure.

Это было отличной прокачкой, столько эскизов людей я не рисовала никогда! Поэтому во время работы над этой картиной - меня охватило приятное чувство ностальгии, будто вернулся к чему-то знакомому и приятному! Once I had a large watercolor project where I drew pin-up girls for the calendar. It was a great upgrade, I never painted so many sketches of people! Therefore, while working on this picture - I was swept by a pleasant feeling of nostalgia as if I had returned to something familiar and pleasant! Я люблю делать вызовы самой себе, потому что считаю, что новые непростые задачи делают нас сильнее и умнее. Вместе с ними мы по-настоящему вырастаем! Greenbook to przyjemna i dobrze zagrana komedia, ale dostała Oscara za najlepszy film roku 2018, a w tym roku były aż 3 lepsze filmy, które bardziej zasłużyły na tę nagrodę - Faworyta, Bohemian Rhapsody oraz Narodziny gwiazdy.
