So, I did the Gregales prosthetic wings as feather bookmarks a while back when I was reading Gregale. I got the idea while reading Libeccio to do another set for them but with their natural feathers! I've since finished Libeccio and have started re-reading Gregale(with my Death feather bookmarks from my Loving Reaper pair) and have started on the progress of the Natural Set! It's just pencil outlines and pale yellow for markings while hoping between references, but they're gonna be really fun!

Plus it's good for me to do more based on actual birds, or characters with bird bases, on occasion along with all the other character ones I do for fun.

Here's the Natural Set in its current state!

I do find it fun and refreshing that these all are softer in shape than my usuals are. It's nice for a change lol.

For example, have this other progress photo of another set I was working on!(It's also a test batch for a different type of paper in my big sketchbook. Testing for coloured pencil and how it compares to my usual paper, and thickness of the bookmarks once laminated. I do all of these by hand and have so many in the air at all times. I don't know how I only just now started considering testing other things to see how they work.)

There is no actual black emerald in canon, it's just here because I had another one drawn and wanted a black bookmark. The grey one is just the depowered form of the Chaos Emeralds and us there because yes.These have been both fun and an absolute pain to work on, largely because of all the detailing to help them look like gemstones. It's fun, but it's such a long process to do by hand with pen.

With the Gregale Project being postponed until the investigations on Dr Kane's abuse have concluded, Griffin and the Gregales are moved for their own safety to temporary accommodations to the Atlas owned facility of Linguère in Senegal, to await a decision to be made on what is to occur with them. However, the Atlas facility is the last place they wish to be, especially when the scientists in charge of the Libeccio Project they have been placed with, seem to be bending the rules and are eyeing up the Gregales to use them in their strange project. There’s no time or room for soft feelings or hesitation in Atlas, and the Gregales must decide if they should stay or if they should try and escape the facility.

My Other Conlang

I've talked about Léna and Kkeṛhaqom on this blog, but never mentioned my most fleshed-out conlang, Rhodian. You can read all about it here but in short, it's a fictional Romance language heavily influenced by Doric Greek.

Anyway, I've been translating my favourite novel, The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet into it, and this has been my favourite paragraph so far. The first paragraph of chapter 2 is as follows:

Translation: Living in space was anything but quiet. Grounders never expected that. For anyone who had grown up planetside, it took some time to get used to the clicks and hums of a ship, the ever-present ambiance that came with living inside a piece of machinery. But to Ashby, those sounds were as ordinary as his own heartbeat. He could tell when it was time to wake by the sigh of the air filter over his bed. When rocks hit the outer hull with their familiar pattering, he knew which were small enough to ignore, and which meant trouble. He could tell by the amount of static crackling over the ansible how far away he was from the person on the other end. These were the sounds of spacer life, an underscore of vulnerability and distance. They were reminders of what a fragile thing it was to be alive. But those sounds also meant safety. An absence of sound meant that air was no longer flowing, engines no longer running, artigrav nets no longer holding your feet to the floor. Silence belonged to the vacuum outside. Silence was death.

Sky was already crowned king. Time is his Zelda's cousin. Malon is a descendant of the last Gerudo king. Wind's heirloom shield is a symbol of the noble house he comes from. Wild became Zelda's bodiguard partly because he was from a noble family. Similar for Wars. Russl got Twi from the castle. Dunno about Four.

Four's paternal grandfather may be a common blacksmith, but his maternal grandfather is Gregal the Great, a nobleman of the wind tribe who's family once resided in the Palace of Winds before monsters, then Vaati, overtook it

Severa is pretty convinced she is a lesbian. Unfortunately, she also is of the mind that a crush now and then means little, and that she might just be full of shit, especially as she has had drunken forays with both genders and those claiming neither.

Valdeaulin was, at one point, pretty certain he was straight. He wed his wife at barely 19 and had not thought about sex with another person, let alone another sex. Years after her death, he would likely simply shrug if someone asked him: now in his 40s, he has had men in his bed, but it was for lust and not for love. He's not certain his tastes in romance and sex align anymore.

All that to say, I do think Valdeaulin has fucked both Severa and Gaius. Severa had happened just once in their tenure at Terncliff, as they share a tiny home and often drink together. Unfortunately for Valdeaulin, Severa is gobshite at pleasuring penises, at least while she's sloshed. Unfortunately for Valdeaulin, she's come to the conclusion she still very much prefers women. (It had nothing to do with his whiskey dick, but she's been unable to convince him otherwise.)

Windstille has grandchildren if so what age are they and what is the genders if you don't mind me asking as I saw something saying he had grandchildren

Hello!

Technically they are not his grandchildren - they are his apprentices, but Windstille treats them as if they were his own flesh and blood. They call him Grandfather as a sign of respect.

They are a small pack of Air ghouls, and they all are organists too. Windstille taught them to play and repair the church organs.

There are six of them: Talwind (he/him, the oldest of them), Khamsin (he/him), Gregale (he/him), Meltemia (she/her), Breeze (she/her, an OC of my friend), Levant (he/him, the youngest).

(They all are named after different types of winds)
