With the Gregale Project being postponed until the investigations on Dr Kane's abuse have concluded, Griffin and the Gregales are moved for their own safety to temporary accommodations to the Atlas owned facility of Linguère in Senegal, to await a decision to be made on what is to occur with them. However, the Atlas facility is the last place they wish to be, especially when the scientists in charge of the Libeccio Project they have been placed with, seem to be bending the rules and are eyeing up the Gregales to use them in their strange project. There’s no time or room for soft feelings or hesitation in Atlas, and the Gregales must decide if they should stay or if they should try and escape the facility.

The raptorial shriek he got in response was not the kid he knew.

Her deep brown irises were narrowed to animalistic slits, teeth bared as she tried to wrestle him out of the sky. She was looking for a meal, and she had found one.

"You're better than this, Skip, snap out of it!"

He couldn't take his eyes off hers; the silver accents of her uniform bottoms and the primal look in her eyes was harrowing. To become feral was like a disease, starting slow until it overtook your mind completely. He had seen many synths succumb; not even the highest-ranking Diamonds were immune to it.

But his kid...

They spiralled towards the dusty grassland below. Not sixteen hours ago they were skipping rocks, the pastime that had borne her name, and now she didn't know him.

She warned him, she warned him days ago, he knew it. He had joked and she did not laugh.

"Skip, please!"

One of those renders is a little throwback to one of my fave illustrations with Griffin :3c

I am very proud of those feathers lol

The hair was made with Blender's new hair curve system! It was challenging to learn as I don't have a lot of experience with geometry nodes, but it was fun and it does give out prettier results than the older particle system. I still used the latter for the feathers, though.

for reference, Gordon is 200cm (6'7) tall with an 8m (26') wingspan, while Percy is 165cm (5'5) tall with a 4.5m (15') wingspan.

Ok here is my pie in the sky deepest desire rework hall of the novice. have it give a b a s i c overview of each class at, say, 50, idk. Literally just "this is what this button does! it should be part of your main rotation!" or "this button is a dot, it will apply a status to the boss and you only want to press it again when that status is about to run out." And to incentivize people to do it they lock, like, a casual glam version of artifact gear behind it. Like street wear style or maybe, like, what a novice would wear. but cute. I have to believe this would at least help

Today is my Hatchday!!! Got a bunch of awesome gifts including a Camera! Can't wait to try it out later on once I've charged it fully.

Got some posters and plenty of books as usual. Also got an incredible drawing of one of my SB OCs in the Stormbite discord server by @akaiitori so that's made my day even better. Thank you so much for that!

So, I legit just woke up and decided to draw my buddy a headshot for their Stormbite OC. AND it actually came out better than I was expecting, with only one minor edit!

Skip n Omen references? I think?? I just wanted to draw them (plus bonus savannah who i somehow mistook for an a6m zero (i don't know why i thought that)) I gave Omen clone trooper armour because 1. it looks cool and is fun to draw and 2. is the only type of """futuristic""" armour I can reasonably draw that doesn't look either ancient greek or unreasonably medieval

i know you mostly only look at bad books but may i reccomend the storm series as a pallette cleanser? it's a very good book series with two books out rn: stormbite and silverbird, it touches on some strong topics (carefully and thoughtfully though) and it's pretty neat if you like somewhat sci-fi series

oh it's been on my list for ages, I've followed the author for years! At one point I will, I just have so many, so so many books around to read still....

two: she is a very complex character, her story is based around freedom and hope, although tragedies do end up happening a lot, yet she keeps going

3: she's a bird person/avio and they are cool asf, that should be grounds enough (jk jk)

spectrum is tan skinned with long dark brown hair, which has some coloured streaks in it, she's 5'8 tall and has a wingspan of around 19-20 feet in length, her tail feathers are of a long fan shape and reach just above her ankles,

her feet and legs are birdlike, with scales and sharp talon-like claws, her wings are high speed type wings, spectrum’s shoulders and back are almost fully covered in feathers, same with the back of her neck plus her cheeks and ears, the color of her feathers and wings are a dark gray which fades to a lighter gray near the tips with black banding, the undersides are a light cream color

spectrum's eyes are pale blue, her color-shifted feather and streak colors are almost rainbow-like, they go from blue to green/yellow to red

she can usually be seen wearing a dark blue, almost black shirt with a white jacket with light cream highlights, her pants are a dark gray-ish blue or wearing a simple core uniform

Why should you vote for Greta Du Pont? Well, for starters, she’s one of the only canon Good Parents in Entropic Float (A visual novel series in production, the first of which is already available), but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. In her first appearance, you may learn that she’s an eccentric older woman with impeccable, bombastic mom energies, but there’s a lot more than that to this lady.

She’s Japanese, but her ex-wife took her surname in the divorce, so now she uses Du Pont instead, because she’s extra and always has been. She has something of a fancy witchy flair to her, leaning on an upper-class childhood to instead get a little bit camp with it. While she used to be a businessman, the power of science is amazing and now she’s a desserts witch instead (transgender style). Confections are her passion, but her family is her priority. She’s been estranged from two daughters for some time now due to cirumstances beyond their control, but also saw the opportunity to step up and care for the orphaned children of some of her best friends.

Visual Description: Greta is a 58 year old woman who dresses in a witchy style, with long skirts in black, white, and red. She wears her hair in low twintails, and it’s mostly white, but her bangs are black. This is a natural trait she’s had her whole life. She’s also on the heavier side, a testament to how long now she’s been able to follow her love for creating sweets!
