do you have any canonically autistic characters? or other disabilities?

yeah hahahahahahahahhahaa OK but for those new here yes I do! In order, below: Mary, Capella, Ollie, and Zapara are autistic. Ollie and Zapara also have ADHD in addition to autism.

- Crowven and Mitzi have ADHD

- In terms of physical disabilities--Capella has a prosthetic hand. Vis is blind. Nana is deaf.

Mary's mother Marina is mute. Rune has prosthetic legs(sometimes) and also uses a wheelchair. Griindel uses a mobility aid.

In my current game project I'm working on, the protagonist Allie is deaf and uses a hearing aid.

I thiiiiiiink that's all I have to share for now? Apologies if I forgot anyone but I'm trying to keep this limited to characters that have appeared in games already!

As many of you may have seen, I (as an anon) asked Arcadekitten if I could make a tournament of her characters, to which she said yes, so here we are!

Griindel fom Blackout Hospital is a transgender man who has had top surgery already!

Acanthibar is a transgender man! As a teenager he binds (left) and once he's an adult (right) he's had top surgery!

uhhhhh update, couldn't sleep so I got the other two endings 👍

Took me a total of like seven or eight hours but that was so worth it omg

Also, why is Griindel so scrunkly? That's just a funny guy. Didn't think I'd like the anglerfish dude as much as I did lol

hihi I wanted to know if there was any inspiration behind Griindel's design! I think hes super cute and his whole theme reminds me of Queen Chrysalis from MLP and Abyss Monarch Cookie from cookie run ovenbreak

Hello do you have any oc's that are ambulatory wheelchair users or use crutches or canes or oc's with hidden disabilities also do you have any demon/angel oc's sorry about all the questions

Rune has prosthetic legs, but still uses a wheelchair to avoid over-exerting himself or putting too much pressure on his body. However, he can stand and walk if he needs or chooses to!

Griindel's staff doubles as a mobility aid! He needs it to help him with walking.

BIG OL BH SPOILERS.

You got 5 seconds to high tail it out of here before I show you the entire plot of a game that I played a few months. Very amazing game btw.

I feel like we stay on the same characters for the appreciation train, so Let's ask about some BH characters!

Where did Mallory get Catsby? Was it a gift from a loved one? Is there a story there?

Why does Gus like Marshmallows on burgers? (The monster /j)

How did Griindel get into his current position, protecting the spirits at the hospital? (Nobody tell Rune about that one)

Which is another question. What did Rune do? How? What?

I don't have a question about the Australian, sorry

Is Lucky a good boy?

And finally, just what happened to Aubrey and how did Reginald devise the mix up with Mary? (To be assumed that he was fully at fault, which I believe the game states but I could always be wrong)

Catsby was a gift from her family! Probably her parents or grandparents. He's her favorite toy! ===

Gus can eat just about everything!! And anything!! I think he loves all sorts of wacky food combos!! ===

I imagine when Griindel died he encountered the very many troubled spirits of the afterlife, and his caring nature took over and he took to trying to look out for them and keeping them feeling safe. He got into the medical field because he cared about helping people, after all. ===

While I can't go over too much about his decision to do it, accomplishing it wasn't that hard. Most people haven't seen Mary and there's not much public information available about her. If you look at the picture frames in Dr. Tetra's office, one of them is empty. That's because he just took the picture of himself and Aubrey out of the frame. Aubrey herself is fine. I imagine she's already been discharged from the hospital before the beginning of the game.

I have two questions involving some of you character designs

1. At first I was confused (not to the point where it bugged me) with Griindel being a male with what I know about Anglerfish since the males don't have the light atena and you seen to know a lot about animals which I've noticed with your character design and world building and then I later found out he was a trans male, was that something you had in mind when creating his character?

2. Semiaquatic Circus Spoilers...I think?

I noticed Clyde's pants look like a clydesdale's hooves, I thought that was a cute little detail!!! Was that intentional? Also, clydesdales are one of my favorite horses and their fluffy hooves are my favorite feature on them along with other horses with that same feature

Griindel is funny because he kinda started as a design I was mindlessly doodling in college, then after I finished drawing him I was like "Ooooooh wait a minute...female anglers have the light! You're trans!" which was fun. ===

Yes it was!! ♡ I knew I wanted another big/tall clown who could also be a different type of clown (in his case, rodeo clown) and a clydesdale felt like the perfect fit!!
