a lovely bonus to the hermits being forced to listen to the Goatleader’s messages is that I am being encouraged, motivated even
to grind, optimise, automate, and thrive!
Doc is right, I will rise and grind and I will not be left behind. I can always grind more for our glorious perimeter !!
#hermitcraft#hermitcraft s9#Docm77#GOAT#I am motivated#and then the perimeter gets covered over lol#and they didn’t just disable the speakers did they?

i really hope this year is better. Last year I was constantly sick and more than half of my school hates me for being annoying and short. This year, things will look up for me. Fuck you, hate me. I’ll find people who enjoy my company. Hell, even if I’m completely alone, I’ll still have all these amazing people on here to help me through it. I just gotta keep going.
Grind, Optimise, Automate, Thrive amirite my people
You are going to laugh until your stomach hurts again. You're going to be in awe of a sunset. Watch your favorite show while you eat your favorite food. Find money on the street. Discover a great band you haven't heard of before. You will find your way back.
#It wasn’t funny but she laughed so hard she almost cried#They’ve musta been together almost 40 nights

VERY ACCURATE DOC AND STRESS DYNAMIC LMAO she just wrecks him 😭
doc is a retired member of the corporation. he’s enjoying his retirement tomato farmer arc, he doesn’t really care anymore, but he’s called back after multiple failures. gem is now a cure which makes the cures harder to fight. so doc yawns, puts on his grind optimise automate thrive shit, and goes to fight them.
he’s surprised to see pearl, and pearl’s surprised that doc recognised her even though she’s reformed. apparently doc and pearl knew each other before, and while doc wasn’t into the inner workings of the corporation, he was one of the few who showed genuine kindness to pearl. but then he retired and she never saw him again.
“lol,” doc says as he grind optimise automate thrives his way into defeating most of the cures. “this fighting shit is easy! who—“
and then stress beats him up with a steel chair. she’s terrifying. and doc instantly regrets everything.
but doc also doesn’t really give a shit. like man, who cares about the genesis block? that sounds lame anyway. also pearl seems to be doing way better which he’s happy about. so after a few halfhearted fights (which is a thin disguise for catching up with pearl), doc resigns. he’s like. fuck it i’m going back to my tomatoes lmao. who cares about the genesis block. and the cures are like ^_^ okay byeeee! enjoy your washed up old man activities! ^_^
at the same time, human doc has been hanging out with human ren. neither of them know who each other is. ren saw a new guy in town and was like :D my dude!! you look so handsome! good to see you!! <3 <3 <3 and doc rolled with it. they still think of each other fondly. ren thinks about the handsome fella who coincidentally appeared at the same time doc did and then disappeared when doc did. doc thinks about the harmless pathetic lil guy he met in town that was totally not in possession of the thing he was looking for.
the cures catch ren wistfully sighing as he stares out of the window. when they ask him what’s wrong, he shows them a selfie of himself and human doc and mourns “losing the handsomenest and smartest man he’s ever known”.
“oh,” pearl says nonchalantly. “that’s doc.”
“EXSQUEEZE ME???”
“… you didn’t know?”
“THAT’S ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. RD.”
ren instantly retreats into mascot form out of embarrassment. iskall and stress can’t help sniggering.
meanwhile, doc grows his tomatoes peacefully, blissfully unaware of ren’s crisis. life goes on.
update on hermitgals precure au: i’ve decided to make the mascot kingdom the hermit kingdom and they protect the genesis block (?) which is the macguffin that facilitates communal creation and sharing of art and inspiring each other with their own creations in their peaceful hermit kingdom, which then ripples out to the human world.
the evil corporation (yes it’s a corporation) wants to steal the genesis block so they can control all the art output and mash it together like a soulless meat grinder for capitalist profit. pearl is a particularly creative person, the evil corporation viewed her as a big threat to their evil monopoly, so they straight up brainwashed her from birth. she still broke free because her adventurous and free spirit cannot be contained!
i’ve decided to make ren have a human form because the logistics nightmare of making the cures carry the mascots to safety every time they fight is… not good lmao. anyways he can be a human because he’s the king and the tiny crown of the dog gives him extra powers. he easily transforms back though. his main job is to run to safety with iskall and protect the genesis block. (eventually he lends the crown to cleo in a cleo-related arc and they’re both 🥺)
towards the boss fight, the corporation captures four cures and drains their vitality from them and keeps them captured/ otherwise frozen, and gem is the one who has to save them all and she laments about being so powerful that she’s the one who’s left behind 🥺 (but there is at least one mascot with her for moral support)
i want to make stress turn evil temporarily so everyone’s gonna be disheartened that their cheerful pink cure has succumbed to despair but they save her with the power of love and hugs.
the cures throw ren around like a stuffed doll and hold him up by the scruff of his neck. he’s just a guy. false keeps on forgetting she can’t punch ren in human form because he’ll transform back if he’s weakened.

DocM77 isn’t scary! Look at these lego pants his kid (Doccy) made for him, which he suggested to add to the skin.

If he actually goes around with this derpy looking skin in s10, I wouldn’t be surprised.
You know he was wearing a maid skin for a bit, as well as pink butterfly wings (which was also a Doccy idea). He has crocs on his skin too, which were added after becoming a dad.
And the reason he can clear out so many blocks is because he has a whole team of people (The Hivemind) constantly helping and working on the most optimised (notice the word) designs! He has a whole technical community in his corner!
The GOAT motto is simple! Grind = early game resource gathering and grinding to somewhat insane levels. Optimise = Optimisation of said resource gathering, make the grind easier for yourself. Automate = get yourself some Automated redstone farms to grind those resources instead. Thrive (Together) = Thrive because you now have all these resources right at your fingertips due to hard work, you can create with them! - The together is a later addition, represents the community.
That being said he has already threatened (/lh) the new Hermits and said that he’s going to embrace the villain arc next season.

I gotta be honest, I gotta own up to my fears
DocM77 scares the living daylights out of me, like on a very deep level.
#docm77#I couldn’t help myself#he is fav#yes he’s scary#but he’s also silly#and cute#and a good dad#uses fanart as his thumbnails to support the community#all is used only after asking for permission#he constantly reassures the community that he wants to help them out#doesn’t want anyone to feel obligated to keep making fanart for him#also I did see your additon to this saying it was a big goof op#I understand this is all in good fun
