The grydscaen: The Prophet series was written in 2011 and is about the Emperor of the Pacific Territories, Ameliano "Lino" Dejarre's teenage son, Amiael Saren Aiken a spiritual Prophet medium trained in esoteric magic banishing demons on a mission to protect the Pacific Territories Elite and those in power.

Go figure - The Prophet trilogy was written as part of the NaNoWriMo competition for November Novel Writing Month but has been held back for years for various reasons until it was deemed the right time for Amiael's magic to be set free. This is a sneak peek of Amiael in his ceremonial Prophet robes from the original lineart I drew for the cover of grydscaen: Prophet Revealed.

Desgning new logos for the cyberpunk grydscaen series to kickoff new round of hacker character designs WIP for the "grydscaen: hack the mainframe" RPG trading card game. First logo up is for DNA data pirates, the Black Holes lead by militant rebel leader code named Gryphon. About designing the logo. All logos will be black and white with a single highlight colour for each group with the Black Holes colour as neon blue. Next design will be the bio hacker subversive activity group Velvet Hour with the new 18 year old host charaacter Nier ishida younger brother to Sakama Ishida the Psi Faction Night Team Lead and psychic operative who can use "witch blood" spiritual medium power which was first highlighted in book 10 of the grydscaen main series called grydscaen: imperium.

From the Fringes: Eyes Wide Front

Six days till release of volume 2 of the new grydscaen: scout manga 2 on the last day of the month 30 June 2021.

Just picked up the limited first print run from the local printer today and loving seeing the book in print. This volume has been a real great hard process and it is even more exciting because we are also in production for episode 2 of the grydscaen: scout anime web series which is based on chapter 4 of the manga in volume 2. Iam the Art Director for the web series which is using my artwork in the manga for the storyboards for the anime. We have moved from the character design phase into the background design process.

I wanted to share the intro splash page for the manga with you here featuring the Level 9 Homeless Hacker ROM whose name mean "Read Only Memory" spraypainting a wall in the Echelons which the Zone Police will definitely be after him for that.

Creating grydscaen: scout remnant manga.

I drew this picture of Faid Callen today the leader of the Packrat hackers and wanted tro share a buit about the process of creating chapter 5 the battle art in volume 3 of the grydscaen: scout remnant manga. I got a new set of mechanical pencils wtih 0.03mm lead which really help with drawing details. I am using extra hard 4H lead which I love working wtih becasue I can feel the paper and it catches all the nuances in the curves of the lines and I can feel what Iam drawing. Makes such a big difference since I found these pencisl.In chapter 6 we have the battle art between Faid and Kaizen the Immaculate and I am o learning how to map out drawing figt scene. There are many fight scenes in the grydscaen novels but actually drawing one and getting the pacing right is very different that writing a fight in a novel or short story. Can't wait to see this chapter animted in the grydscaen: scout eve anime web series adaptation which will start production in winter 2021.
