We've been hard at work coming up with new ideas. Today we're releasing the Tailfin body shape. Inspired by the culture of the early rock and roll era - space age, surf music and cars with...well... tailfins.

We're not surprised by this, but many people think this is one of the most comfortable guitar body shapes ever. It can be played in any position, included seated across your knee or angled like a classical.
Available in Tele format, Strat format, two humbuckers, or Jazzmaster/ Jaguar, we can make it for you or pick an off the shelf model.

Story time 1
So back when I had just started learning guitar, I wasn't aware that you're supposed to change the strings, let alone know how to do it.
One day low and behold, a string broke on my guitar, and i had no clue what to do about. Instead of looking it up, I had the absolute genius idea to ask my dad to drive me to Guitar Center so that they can "repair it."
So we drove all the way there, and went inside and talked to one of the employees explaining that a string is broken etc etc
Now this motherfucker knew that neither me nor my dad had any clue about how guitars worked and shit, so he takes advantage of that and says "oh, it'll cost $50 and it'll take a week for us to repair it" (not verbatim what he said, but you get the idea.) We could tell something was off about it, so I asked what the process was for replacing the string, and he said something along the lines of "you'll need to replace all of the strings, and its incredibly difficult to do, and you might end up breaking the guitar."
Now this guitar had a floyd rose bridge, and these things are as you know, NOTORIOUSLY difficult to tune and replace strings on, but still, it is NOT that fucking hard lmao. It takes around like 20 minutes to to it, depending on how quickly you're trying to get it done, and you'd have to be an absolute idiot to manage to somehow break it in the process. I cannot even think of a way you could accidentally do that.
So I ended up just buying a pack of strings and doing it myself. Surprise surprise, it was not very difficult.
Years later, I still can't fucking believe that guy so blatantly tried to scam me, it's like actually crazy that he not only thought it would work, but actually tried to do it
Did he expect me to just, not find out it was bullshit?? Cause the only way I can rationalize it is that he thought I would keep coming back to get the strings replaced and just never find out that I'm being scammed.
Anyways, if by some crazy chance you're reading this, go fuck yourself lmao

i keep seeing people say "oh eddie would be x in a modern au" "eddie would be y in a modern au" and im ???
a modern day eddie would still be a metalhead dnd player who's probably read the LoTR triology more than once; he'd just also own all the movies and know a bunch of useless trivia about the actual filming and production.
he'd probably still be a drug dealer, still gets held back a year in high school, probably has a second hand phone with a cracked screen that he only uses to listen to music, skips class because his teachers don't like him, runs a dnd club either in the drama room or the art room, either forges notes to get out of phys ed or just doesn't show up, he strikes me as someone who enjoys the process of burning music onto cd's so he probably has a bunch of mixtapes in his glove box and steve would hate driving with him bc his car wouldn't have an AUX port or anything so he'd either have to listen to the radio or eddie's music
a modern day eddie would still be eddie, he'd just have the luck of getting to experience all the nerdy shit that comes out after the 80's and also modern technology

Cars wear out over time. Guitars on the other hand, hold up, and stand the test of time. Therefore, IMHO, guitars are better... Free guitar strings with each guitar purchase.... https://reverb.com/shop/jamesguitarshoppe

"Such an incredible piece, beautiful photo from My Chem’s early days playing the mighty Warped tour. I was gifted this from Lisa at the Last warped tour when it was displayed on the grounds and the Future Violents played. It's strange because I don’t really have any photos of myself displayed around my house, that would kinda make me feel weird if I did… not to mention all the therapy my kids would probably need later on in life. So I just kept this in a closet downstairs because it's too cool to ever get rid of, so I hope it finds an awesome home with someone who will appreciate it and display it like it deserves. Lisa Johnson is very talented and I think she would be psyched to have a fan own this piece of her work. Signed." - Frank (reverb store listing)
