gus and juliet could have been SILLY in love, they could have had one of those nerd marriages, jules could have gone undercover and got way into character and gus could have told shawn "it's part of her craft, shawn, you have to let her work," and gus could have got taken out on safecrackring class dates, and they could have finished each other's sentences, and they could have been soooo princess (gus) and knight (jules) coded, and they would have been such dorks the whole way and devoted to each other and to shawn, and it could have been great!

Okay but I need more people on the Gus x Juliet train. There’s not NEARLY enough content for them and they are literally the EXACT same person. As much as I like Shules, Gus and Juliet have always made more sense to me. They’re nerding out over comics and fandoms, having the same Wonder Woman brush as a kid, their love of fancy vocab words (thinking of the scene from Shawn and Gus of the Dead at the end when Jules and Gus both scream and move in sync when planning Vick’s celebration), when they’re in sync making baby noises and faces at the babies in the hospital after Vick gives birth, the entirety of Mr. Yin presents… (when he goes into the tunnel with a gun to save her even though he’s usually so frightened of everything plus the way he screams her name and then literally fights back a clock to save her), I’m actually OBSESSED with them.

In 3x03, Lassiter tells Jules, “So what if I seriously considered planting evidence on my wife’s new boyfriend?” and then 8 episodes later in 3x11, when the guy asks “oh, so you think he’s capable of it?” (Lassiter shooting someone), Shawn responds with “no he doesn’t. At most Lassiter would plant evidence,” and I’m supposed to believe they’re not boyfriend coded???
