I just realized you drew a picture of a little gunpowder carousel in your Halloween doodle xD fuck my brain is so weak for not noticing it immediately, but I love it! So I have to ask: who is your little banana-wearing dude? He looks kind of like a cat man, is he a tabaxi or something? Also I definitely didn't send this ask to the wrong person by accident at first! I definitely got it right on the first try because I'M GOOD AT THINGS xD

It was very good (and yes definitely my kinda thing lol). Lots of GunpowderCarousels' stuff is good, personally I like: Without a Trace, Quiet Moments, Trapped in One of 'Those' Rooms, Two Words, and The Courgette (a funny one).

See the thing with me is that I firmly believe that all of the BG3 companions have a praise kink - all of them are desperate for validation and I will personally hand-feed it to them.

I think the funnier thing is that everyone who reads my work is like "wow this writer has a praise kink; she definitely likes to be called a good girl!" To the point some have asked me. And I can firmly say you are wrong: I love to call people a good girl; the way people just fall apart at the words is top-notch. It's very fun to write and makes for good eatin'. And I love to make sure my BG3 babies are given the validation they crave and deserve.

3. NoTP?

I don't think I have a lot of those anymore, so it's not exactly a NOTP, but I'll say I absolutely cannot find any joy in shipping Shadowheart with any man, including the companions. That's somewhere I don't go whatsoever.

9. Write a recommendation of someone else's fic you enjoyed!

These days I mostly read Critical Role fanfiction, however I'd say for BG3 you can't go wrong with A First Time for Everything by @gunpowdercarousel, where Lae'zel learns how to cuddle with Shadowheart :) It made me "aww" audibly multiple times.

24. What's your favorite thing about [character]?

I'm gonna say it for my girls.

Lae'zel: She is markedly nicer than any other gith lol. Like for a githyanki, she is a model of patience, kindness, softness. It would make her ashamed but from the get go she has something different about her. The gith socialization didn't completely destroy her good heart.

Shadowheart: best ass in all of Faerun I love how petty she is lmao, that girl can drop a mean zinger just like that I adore her

Karlach: Easy peasy, it's her optimism. She never gives up and she lives every moment like it's the last (till it eventually is…). I admire that a lot about her and it makes her breakdown in act 3 all the more impactful.

Minthara: As I've played more with her in my team I've realized she is much more open minded than I'd anticipated after act 1. I don't know if I expected a Lae'zel clone or something, but she really often has unexpectedly nuanced takes on moral situations, is able to show sincere compassion and understanding, etc. She is far more morally complex than just this drow killing machine image of her.
