tries to stop you but her words fall short as you run in yelling into whatever the threat is without a second thought. "i- wait- er..." and youre gone, leaving pomni to hurry and try to catch up with you. she probably has to drag you to safety, assuming this isnt a case where you got all glitched up by an abstracted circus member.. shes gonna have to work herself up to get you to chill out; perhaps ending in a whole emotional thing where she just. explodes? perhaps

RAGATHA:

just because you cant get hurt doesnt mean shes not going to fuss over you. if there were a need for it i think she would keep a pack of Band-Aids on her. however, because you guys cant get hurt in that way, she tries to keep you in bed when you inevitably get knocked a little too hard and need to rest it off. dont even think about trying to get up out of bed, shes going to give you this stern look that only a few percentage of people can muster.

zooble would do similar stuff as jax, but when you actually. go to do the dangerous thing they just pull you back. "dude. i wasnt being serious"

her comedy mask probably falls off from the sheer shock from how easily you just. launch yourself into things. on one hand she worries for you, but on the other hand she cant help but feel a little jealous; i mean shes just ribbon and a mask, shes not really... tough... strong.. durable... she wants to be able to run around and do the things you do but theres that fear of being immediately broken down or overpowered, you know? didnt mean to get silly there; anyways i think she would try to keep in you bed to sleep off the soreness, like ragatha

he was 5'3" previously, he's now more like five feet maybe a little bit less. if you were to measure him and mikey back to back, mikey would be a tiny bit taller. you can't really tell yet, though, since donnie currently can't stand, and up until now he was constantly on tip-toes. he's also just very underweight right now, which makes him seem even smaller. as he recovers and gains some weight back, he'll seem a bit less itty-bitty.

thank you! ; w ; also while i don't think he's ever, like, straight up wiggled his fingers at a boy, i do think he occasionally gets a little fidgety/twitchy with his hands and fingers when he has a crush. maybe also tends to do little arm/shoulder touches with his outstretched fingers as well when he's flirting. u w u

It's completely gone! his tummy and hips are now just like the other exposed parts of his body, like his arms and legs-- just skin and scales. I don't think it ever actually came up in the main part of the comic, but is illustrated in his reference image in the masterpost! Also don't worry, no ill-effects from being crop-topped. It'll just take a bit of getting used to. (If anything, it's a bit of a boon at the moment for the rest of the fam. A lot of medical care is a lot easier without plastron blocking the patient's entire torso.)

Oh gosh. It's hard to say because it's such a spectrum... It would have to be a pretty nasty injury for the witchdoctors to not be able to do something about it. But assuming they can't... Big Mama would never outright ask the Gems to perform on a serious injury, but the twins would definitely feel pressure to continue performing for as long as they possibly could, and to keep recovery time as short as possible. If they had to take time off to heal, they would, (and have in the past,) but they'd definitely be impatient to get back on the field. If the injury is truly so bad that one or both of them can no longer perform, they'd probably both retire, (though extremely reluctantly, and doing so would be incredibly heartbreaking for them and cause them a lot of grief and guilt,) because neither would want to go on without the other. There might be some pushback from Big Mama, though, and the uninjured party could potentially be convinced, with enough time and enough conversations, to make a comeback...

Poorly. It'd probably go about the same way it did for Donnie, except worse the second time around. They'd probably both be in trouble for it-- Leo for keeping things for her, and Donnie because she (correctly) assumes that he's 'influenced' Leo somehow, since he did the same thing first.

lmao april is maybe in a TEENSY bit over her head, bless her. splinter definitely struggled over whether or not to bring her with him to see big mama. he tried to convince her to let him escort her back home once he realized where he had to go, but of course she wouldn't hear of it. thought about having her wait outside, but... is so reluctant to leave her alone in the hidden city... knew she would probably pushback anyway, too, so...

the twins will definitely have a ton of therapy and healing to tackle in the future <3 my poor sweet baby boys....

OLD BULLSHIT DUMP

its time to dump a bunch of stuff i have no other place for but i want online somewhere! its a total fucking shitshow wahoo

first is an alien nine fan comic (its read right to left if it wasnt obvious, oops). this was made as a for an alien nine discord i lurk in. they had missed yuris birthday, and some discussion was had about what present is best to get her. most of the options were aliens?? anyways take this as the anti-kasumi propaganda that it is.

next is two separate love web doodles. uh for anyone who doesnt know i have a half joke love web AU where cybermare and manon just fucking hate each other, and its just sad and awful for no good reason. im sorry shadok, i am physically unable to let blorbos be happy. second image is more of a doodle but i like it. and the first image i thiiiink was made when i was planning out a little one shot comic i never finished. for the 1 of you (oretal) who are maybe curious, i had a bunch of dialogue written out, the comic would have been a really tense conversion that culminates in a shouting match, i had this really cool idea where the comics color palette gets darker and darker as the sun goes down and their little apartment becomes so dark that its hard to see but neither of them want to bother turning on a light (many such cases). i care about these two way more than i probably should, uh thank you silly deer lady for the blorbos.

the next one is a drawing ruru chan (you saw the alien nine bit of this post, you know what kind of fucking blog this is) i keep forgetting i made forever ago. i ended up hating it and never finishing it. i still dont want to bother finishing it but i like it enough now to post it. shinsei kamattechan is one of my favorite bands and i really like this dumb melodramatic song a lot. noko is one of the realest ones going and i hope i can draw something i actually really like one of these days to express my love properly.

lastly i wanted to post this absolute dumb bullshit fuck ass stupid technique. i was commissioned by a friend to make some custom buckshot roulette cards (he is paying me in sandwiches), and i decided that i liked the idea enough to go whole hog at least a little bit. this is just showing the process for the rendering technique im using in krita. i will be posting the final images once theyre all done (my deadline is fucking thursday, pray for me girlie). this method of rendering is super janky but its fucking worked so far! to any aspiring item key artists, please just render shit in blender, save yourselves. looks kinda nice tho once its on a card.

i feel like im being interviewed lol... and well i've completed p5(r) 3 times + i'm starting my 4th right now so clearly i have a lot of thoughts so i don't know how to boil it down into a sensible easily communicated response to a tumblr ask haha...

basically i love everyone...um. in short (p5(r) spoilers):

joker: the most trans in any direction character, stylish, fun, mostly-silent swag. i love protagonists. joker can hold multitudes. insert the behind the mask lyrics. i think about 3rdsembadend a lot. also "canon" names wise i prefer akira by a fair amount if that matters. keeping them unnamed in my comics is a deliberate choice though haha

mona: people need to stop being mean to him he's literally a cat. my brother loves him :) little guy... yeah okumura palace sucks but most of the others have shitty moments too...lol. he's literally a little guy what more do you want. ask me about my thoughts on his gender

ryuji: my best friend!! i think i enjoy him more and more over time he's so ride or die. just a swell dude. such a bro. simple in a good way. aftermath aside his moment in shidopalace is so iconic of him

ann: my second favorite 5 character i love her so so so much. maybe her relevance drops hard post-kamoshida but do i look like i care. she makes me happy :) and also she will forever be iconic for the whole "he can't suffer if he's dead" thing. there are types of characters that i like.

yusuke: okay. confession. the reason yusuke's barely showed up in gomics (he was in the background One time) is because i'm bad at drawing him and worse at writing him (i'm aware the standard of writing for these things is low (lol) but i just can't channel his vibe. being an artist and Like That doesn't even help). i love him though!! he's so funny and his confidant rules. etc. one of those characters that i don't think of 24/7 but when i do think about him it's like. explosion

makoto: she'll figure things out.

futaba: little sister obtained...!! she's my everything. like...dude. i don't know how to put it into words to be quite honest she's just so real. so real. so real!! her palace was good :') she's really fun and resonates so well emotionally... mental illness represent and stem kid solidarity (i do not have the capability of hacking into the government). iconic that they gave her the male velvet suit.

haru: she really needed more screentime i know that's not a new thing to say but it's true she gets overshadowed SO bad. i adore haru... it's. um. the like. reservedness? like she's been holding things back. and strength. and the "i am no longer your subservient puppet". it's interesting how she doesn't get proper resolution for her palace-related troubles like the others (read: dad got assassinated)...and yeah the gap moe of her capacity for violence also. #girl

goro: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. yeah. um. he's my favorite. anyway

sumire: i like her a lot, just more in theory than in practice if that makes sense... why did they put her hair back up and steal her glasses... i think her inclusion in sae's palace is kind of nonsensical but i get it i guess it's for returning players and all. love the cinderella thing she has going on. she's sweet. she has so little time to really shine which is a bummer. i like her. she's a good contrast to the other two in 3rdsem and funny also.

(Kind of a follow up to my silly little comic since I had WAY too many thoughts and I couldn't fit them in because I wanted it to stay light hearted)

My personal take on komahina is that they both absolutely end up falling in love at some point, but Nagito would never allow Hajime to date him.

(Warning, it’s kinda long)

Not only would he feel like Hajime is too good for him, that Hajime would be wasting his precious time on trash, but it would also make Nagito too happy, and Nagito has a bad tendency to link his happiness with his ultimate luck. It would make him think that the joy of dating Hajime would cause catastrophes, so the best, most hopeful thing he can do is avoid dating altogether. In his head, he’s doing the reasonable thing ! He's shielding everyone from his bad luck ! But he would still love him so he would absolutely tell Hajime how much he means to him and hang out and even flirt with him…. so long as he doesn’t reciprocate. Which would probably upset Hajime at first, thinking he’s being played with.

It would require serious mental wrestling to convince Nagito that it’d be ok for him to date anyone, let alone the Ultimate Ultimate. You’d need to convince him that his happiness isn’t always tied to his luck. Dare I say, you’d have to make it so that him being treated with respect and even affection isn’t an exception anymore, just a normal part of life, thus not something he'd feel overly lucky to have. (That one would be more of a collective, long term effort though)

It’s a very arduous task, especially with how unconvinced Nagito probably would be. ESPECIALLY especially if you take into account the fact that you’re on a goddam timer because of his illness.

There is a possibility that Nagito feels more of an equal to the others post game though, since they were all bad guys and thus, all much closer to his own perceived level of trash (not a particularly good way to think, but it's a start nonetheless) I can see everyone working on themselves and their guilt and learn to forgive themselves for the horrible things they all did, and Nagito on the side being like “you all are doing such a good job!” Without realising that he could apply this to his own existence… though he would probably think it can’t apply to him. In his head, he'll forever be trash.

At the end of the day, I think the quickest way for them to make this happen is for Hajime to bring up his talents and basically tell Nagito that his luck is nothing compared to his own luck, and therefore can’t hurt anyone with it. Althought it's probably the most convincing argument in Nagito's eyes, one might wonder if it's really the best solution for these two, especially for Hajime who most likely has his own bagage to unpack regarding his talents. Like, first of all, is Nagito in love with him or the hope his existence apparently brings to the world? Or maybe even Izuru? There's just.... So much to take into account man

Tl;dr komahina is a really cool concept and they totally fall in love but the real challenge is HOW they end up dating because i can't see Nagito allowing that to happen so easily. To me it would either take an extraordinary amount of hard work AND/OR use Hajime's talent flex. But then is that really a good solution when Hajime probably has a complicated relationship with his talents?

Not saying that it's impossible but yeah. It's so hard to pinpoint how ! And I still feel like I'm missing some parameters !

(Not bashing on anyone else’s interpretations btw, just sharing my own, these two have invaded my brain as you can probably tell)

i forget if ive complimented your art before but im going to now !!! u have such a gorgeous way of making your lines fluid and im honestly a little envious of how well you can convey movement- and the way you utilize composition (most notably in your comic art, but this is present across all your works) makes your drawings / the accompanying writing especially readable and clean which is smth i also wish i could achieve with traditional art, and im sure it took lots and lots of practice !!

The Irken is named Swyn (she her) !! She's Miyuki's clone in my au :3 (one of multiple ... But I'm still figuring out that concept SO‼️🗣️) She was made off planet using Miyuki's DNA after her death, and her creator (some random smeet scientist I haven't worked on) got caught(you aren't allowed to make Irken smeets without permission off planet or at ALL because Irk is stinky and full of poop head control brains BTW all Irkens are asexual so don't be weird) AND SWYN GOT ABANDONED ON ACCIDENT !! it's okay thougjt because..... INSERT DRUM EXCITABLD SOUJD HERE.... TENN FOUND HER !!! she adopted Swyn along with her gf Tak , and THEY ARE A HAPPY LITTLE FSMILY !!! Sizz Lorr is there too because he is Tak's adopted father 🫡 found family FOREVER .

The second alien in the comic is named Meer (she they) !!!! She's a Fluxative (IZ OC species), a species of REALLY GOOD shapeshifters . However , the Irken Empire killed most of them in an Invasion. My Irken scientist OC, Nova(not shown or mentioned in the comic) who is Zim, Tenn, and Skoodge's Unit Sibling finds Meer when Meer is a literal smeet baby thing and takes her in to take care of her, and when Nova is assigned to RESEARCH *NOT* invade Irk, she brings Meer with her caude Meer is like her daughger :333

When Swyn is like 16 (I am a believer in Irkens aging like humans just with longer lifespans and I can and will defend my point) she and every Irken that lives on Irk finds out she's Miyuki's clone, and of course she's not very upset, but now has the pressure of living up to Miyuki's legacy, which would be extra difficult, since Miyuki was the VERY BEST TALLEST in IRKEN HISTORY.

Tallest Sleedge ( she her , also the main Tallest at the time in my au) essentially peer pressured Swyn to become Tallest as well, due to Swyn being almost exactly like MIYUKI was in ALL WAYS . Miyuki was something the Empire needed again. But Swyn is very conflicted on it....... SO YEAH !!!! skipped over a lot of things but that's SORTA WHAT THJS COMIC IS ABOUT

Hello all you happy weirdos and I hope you have your bologona, your mediums sized root beer with free refills and your twinkie weiner sandwitches ready because this post is going to be long. It's also a break from format: I usually review movies, tv shows, comics. In fact I reviewed Weird Al's first movie UHF earlier this year. It was awesome. I usually don't dip into music itself but with the momentous arrival of Weird Al's wonderfully insane parody of biopics Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, I just had to do something for the occasion. And while Al's done ton of voice work so I had plenty of options from the beautifully meta choice to cast him as Wreck-Gar in transformers animated, to his ponytastic turn as Pinky Pie's future husband Cheese Sandwitch whose basically Weird Al but younger and a horse, and of course his starring roll in the criminally short lived Milo Murphy's law among MANY others I intend to cover at some point. (especially since I just realized while writing this next year is his 40th anniversary) , I decided to focus on the man himself.

Weird Al is one of my faviorite musicians and I say that without a tinge of irony and with all the pride I can muster in my spleen: Weird Al has lasted this long for damn good reason, being able to deftly copy the sounds of a day and parody or homage them with expert skill, while also able to make his own unique compositions from stylistic parodies to just plain original ten minute epics and fun polka mashups of the last few years of music. He's also one of the genuinely sweetest and nicest guys in the music buisness: he's kind, respectful of the artists he parodies (asking permission after the whole Coolio thing but their Coolio now so it's Coolio), and just one of the coolest dudes around. He's done everything with 14 albums, countless singles for other projects, 2 films, 2 tv series (he didn't write milo but he did STAR in it and was in almost every episode so I count it), voice work and more. He's my hero is what i'm saying so join me under the cut for this ill advized self indulgent mega list honoring the man's career

A few things off the bat: This list is my opinon. I shoudln't have to say that but it's the internet equilvent of that warning thing from the start of Jackass: no one whose going to get frothingly upset at this list is going to listen to it but I have to put it in there. These are the songs I consider the best of the best. This also means some cuts got made, and as such two albums aren't represented here: His self Titled Debut and Even Worse. BOth aren't bad albums and it killed me to have to cut "Such a Groovy Guy and "I Think I"m a Clone Now" respectively, but even with 27 slots this was a VERY hard list. So with that said

27. Like a Surgeon (Dare to Be Stupid)

Starting us off we have one of the classics. This one's simple, silly and hilariously dark as our narrating character is apparently so horrible at his job a lot of people have implicitly died. It's a shock Dr. Nick hasn't recrecorded this with his good friend mr. mccraig

26. Cavity Search (Bad Hair Day) Bad Hair Day is one of Al's best albums, a nice bit of mid 90's greatness and the start of the growth that would lead to his monumental later albums. It's the most represented on this list with FOUR songs, the most of any (though many have three so don't worry), and each one deserved. This one made me check out the original song and while a mostly goofy little bit about dentistry parodying U2's Batman Forever theme.... a sentence that reminds me why I do this job, somehow, it's still solid with Al nicely mimicking Bono.... though how he surivived the amount of smug he'd have to injest to do that is beyond me. 25. Attack of the Radioactive Hamsters From A Planet Near Mars (UHF) UHF was a great film and naturally had a great if very loose soundtrack. Only three songs actually show up in the movie: the title track, "Let Me Be Your Hog", and "Money For Nothin (Beverly Hillbillies) and a few sound clips. That didn't stop the album from being as good as the film though and this song is proof.

This song is classic al sillyness, being all in the title which we hear plenty. It's every bit as glorious and stupid as it sounds, in particular them coming in ships "shaped just like cuban cigars". Sure they destroyed the world and are are going to turn us all to goop but you have to admit their pretty cute. The guitar for this flim is impressive. It's a 50's b-movie al style and I badly hope he makes it into a real one some day. Speaking of which...

24. Nature Trail to Hell in 3-D (In 3D) In 3D was Al's breakout album and for good reason: while he'd make far better albums as his career went on, In 3D is where he starts to have the polish we've come to know after the rough but charming first album. It only has one entry on this list but said entry is a doozy. I already loved Nature Trail to Hell when I first heard it but becoming a horror fan makes me love it all the more as Al lovingly spoofs the 80's slasher boom with a fake trailer, with Al talking about all the gory things that are going to happen in such an over the top way you can't help but burst a spleen laughing, and the angelic chorus of NATURE TRAIL TO HELL IN 3D! just clinches it for me. Another one that really could be a film. Given the reception Weird's getting it's not out of the question.

23. Handy (Mandatory Fun)

Mandatory Fun was sadly Al's last studio album, with Al moving onto singles. We did get a soundtrack Album for Weird, but from the looks of it it's mostly the score, a few updated versions of old classics for Daniel Radcliff to lipsynch to. I can't blame him, the album format simply dosen't work as well for Parody these days and he's clearly found other stuff to do, but I do miss getting a guaranteed bit of al weirdness every three years and only got to enjoy an album coming out twice. Thankfully Mandatory Fun is a great note to go out on and showed he still got it. Case in point we've all long since forgotten Iggy Izalea.. but his parody of her breakout and only hit "Fancy", Handy, is still a banger, with Al having terrific flow and a wonderfully stupid premise of rapping about plumming. The speed he ratttles things off at sometimes is insane.. though FAR from the fastest he'll rattle off about handy man stuff. We'll get to that.

22. UHF (Straight Out of Lynwood UHF)

UHF was a film that deserved a catchy theme and damn if it didn't get it. It's a simple "watch the station" type anthem that dosen't make complete sense as that's not the stations name, but dosen't have to as it's well done, hilarous, original and will NEVER leave your head. Belivie me i've had 20 doctors try.

21. Amish Paradise (Bad Hair Day) I might get some flak for this one. Not for putting it on the list, but for putting it so low. While I feel there's 20 songs better than this one it dosen't make Amish Paradise any less awesome. Taking a serious rap number about gang violence and a good song in it's own right and making it into an Amish Brag Rap that lightly pokes fun at the Amish while not really bashing them takes the kind of mad genius Al is to put together. His suprisingly impressive flow at rap also shows again during the section at the end "Raised a bar on sunday, then i'll raise another!'. IT's once again Al taking an utterly stupid idea and not only making it work but making it a stone cold classic.

20. Do I Creep You Out? (Straight Outta Lynwood) And not one entry later i'm going to say something that's going to annoy a LOT of you: White and Nerdy isn't on this list. It's excellent and al once again shows off his impressive flow and ablitlty to talk let alone rap at a speed few can match, but ultimately I just found other songs were better. That said it's album, Straight Outta Lynwood is well represented here and is one of Al's best if not THE best. Relistneting to it for this album I forgot just how solid it is and how many classics it has. This one I admit is partly for personal reasons: see the song being parodied, the THANKFULLY forgotten "Do I Make You Proud?" was EVERYWHERE and played CONSTANTLY on radio stations, at weddings, funerals, public bathrooms. You could not escape this incredibly schmaltzy, incredibly stupid song. It was long, droning and it was terrible. So it's no shock that not only did Al do it better, but made it hilarious. Do I Creep You Out? isn't Al's first stalker song, the other being Melanie, but this one is less creepy by being more over the top. The stuff the narrator does is IMMENSELY creepy, but the shchmaltzy tone makes it still work today despite stalking being taken as seriously as it should and to Al's credit it's clear he takes the creepy shit his character is doing seriously... he just makes it funny by putting it in the context of a schmaltzy love ballad. It's what he does.

Oh and if your wondering about the image Al did the video with Jib Jab, who you also rightfully forgot and who i'm not bothering to research as the quality for the video is low, but it still works for the image of Al dressed as Aaron Hicks.

19. Foil (Mandatory Fun) Another great song from the final stretch for Al, Foil works entirely thanks to it's bait and switch. The first half is about foil, seeming to be another of Al's food based parodies.. until he starts rattling off about conspiracies. The abrupt shift combined with the contrast with the nice light tones borrowed from Royals makes this a modern classic. The video dosen't hurt either, with Al going nuts on air, Patton Oswalt playing a lizard man and catchy backup singers. Good stuff.

18. Captain Underpants Theme (Captain Underpants: The Epic First Movie Soundtrack) The only song not from one of Al's Al-Bums on the list is this banger of a theme song for a mediocre film based on a classic book series. Given Al was brought up in the first book, it's only fitting George and Harold's patron saint did the theme song. Naturally Al tackles it with all his enthusiasm and ham, perfectly matching the property. Summing it up as a "freaky bald dude in his underwear" is fitting. It's cheesy, it's smooth as hell, and it's perfect. It's a shame the cartoon that followed didn't use this awesome as hell theme and hopefully if there's ever another film they don't repeat the same mistake.

17. Ringtone (Alpocalypse)

Alpocalypse was the first Al-Bum I got to listen to after it came out and it was a great one to start on, with tons of all timers, parodies of stuff I knew at the time, and general fun. The cover of Al as a horseman of the apocalypse just clinches it. Ringtone was always going to be a faviorite of mine as it parodies one of my faviorite bands: Queen gets the Al treatment for the third time, but unlike his previous parody and tribute, this one just uses the style to create the tale of a man who picked a really rotten ringtone. Al once again talks really fast and it works, and combined with his deft and smooth as hell Piano work makes for a breezy, rediculous rock opera sounding track.

16. I"ll Sue Ya (Straight out of Lynnwood) I don't really know Rage Against the Machine well, but I absolutely Love al's parody which itakes angry white boy rock and puts it to frivolous lawsuits. if that sentence dosen't make you laugh I question how you got this far itno the article. The increasingly stupid lawsuits (my faviorite being "I swallowed a nerf ball and nearly choked to death), combined with the angry tone just make this majestic to hear.

15. Living With a Hernia (Polka Party) Living in America was an instant classic, as was it's rediuclous and entirley out of left field performance during Rocky IV. So having already parodied Rocky himself, the song was a great fit. Once again it's al taking a direction in making fun of the song you wouldn't think, using Brown's deep voice and cries as signs of a medical condition. Making this joyous song about Hernias was a bold strategy but it paid out. What really sells this one for me is that Al does one hell of a james brown, perfectly capturing the legendary singers shouty voice. The best Al Parodies are where he really sounds like the artist (while still having his own distinct voice as part of it) and this is one of his finest examples.

14. Party in the Cia (Alpocalypse)

Another one that shows the simple formula al uses: Take a popular song, find something totally batshit that contrasts with the beat. The fact he uses this formula a LOT but it hasn't gotten that old speaks to his creatvity and borderline insanity: anyone could parody Party in the USA, it was everywhere, Miley Cirus was an easy target at the time, and it was annoying. But making it about the CIA and having cheerful lyrics about "tourturing the folks we don't like" and "hand me that microfilm buddy will you, i'd tell you why but i'd have to kill you. Al just has this weird brand of humor that's unique, can get suprisingly dark but is also fairly wholesome. He'll sing about waterboarding sure but in a goofy cheerful way that makes it go down easy. He did the same with the end of all of humanity. It's just who he is and why I loves him so much.

13. eBay (Poodle Hat)

Another easy target as Ebay had become a big deal by 2003 and the Backstreet Boys had just finished being one (As a young me can attest). Ebay comes from Poodle Hat, easily one of Al's most underated albums. It probably dosen't help Eminem blocked the album because he didn't like Couch Potato making fun of me. While I do like some of Em's music come on man.... you dressed up like robin the year before this. Which was objectively funny (and I say that as a fan of all 5 of them)

But you can't wear this and then get mad when someone pokes fun at you for something different. He didn't block the parody but like.. blocking the video didn't do good for the album and is still one of the few dick moves i've seen directed Al's way.

Anyways Ebay is great, perfectly summing up how it feels to shop ebay and spoofing joes like me who buy "useless crap" off there all the time. We salute you for giving us a theme al. Granted I have no real desire for a Dukes of Hazzard Ash Tray but given in the past few months i've bought several books, a deck of yugioh cards, and more I'm not exactly that much higher up.

12. Waffle King (Alapalooza) Alapalooza has a great cover, name and Freddy Mercury Tribute Polka.. and not much else. It very narrowly made the cut, as it'sone of al's weaker albums.. but it did manage to give us one glorious banger. In the style of Peter Gabriel, Al embodies a weirdo who fines the perfect waffle recipie and then goes mad with power as everyone marvels over it and bows to the waffle king. Al really gets to ham it up here and the fun chords and wonderful chorus really sell this one. Plus as the late great Richard Thompson once said Waffles are just comedic gold and given Weird Al was able to make an entire song about it without coming off obnoxious, he was right god rest him.

11. Everything You Know Is Wrong (Bad Hair Day) A simple one: this one's just Al getting every bit as weird as he can while breaking reality over his knee to a catchy upbeat tune. If this dose'nt sum up his whole career I don't know what does.

10. Smells Like Nirvana (Off the Deep End) Off the Deep End came while Al was in a bit of a slump. As detailed in his autobiography, Al was having a bit of trouble getting his mojo back and was desperate for a number one to go with his latest album. After being gently rebuffed by Micheal Jackson, who didn't want to ruin the message of his song black or white (especailly when he could do it just dandy himself), Al thankfully caught a break that revivied his spark when he heard one of the defining songs of the ninties.. and coudln't make a single word out.

Smells Like Nirvana is more about how Kurt Cobain was not the easiest speaker to understand, something we all can relate to. From talking about "Marbles in his mouth" to making a few jabs at the band themselves, the song is a faviorite of us weird al fans for a reason, and the video only helps. Putting Al in a Kurt Cobain outfit was never not going to be pure comedy gold. Add in weird sound effects and Al perfectly matching the beat and tone of the original despite not remotely using Cobain's mumbly and you have a classic that the late great mr. cobain himself UTTERLY loved and rightfully felt was his we made it moment.

9. The Saga Begins (Running With Scissors) Another one and done album, I still love Running with Scissors (Jerry Springer ONLY didn't make it because some of the outdated language used to imitate Jerry can be hard to listen to), and it still got in with one of Al's crowning achievments. It would be enough to set the plot of the Phantom Menace to American Pie, turning one of the worst movies ever and one of the longest most boring songs ever (don't @ me, it's way too damn long and should know it), into one of Al's best. Like most Al Stuff something that probably shouldn't work works perfectly. The chorus of "My my this here anikin guy maybe vader someday later but he's just a small fry" works so well. It somehow tops his already brilliant parody of Lola , Yoda. (which BARELY didn't make the list)

What's most impressive though is HOW the song came about: through what he could dig up through fansites and only went to the pre screening. And George Lucas , famously not someone to listen to critics... smiled and loved it while Al himself cheered as "i'm going to be a jedi" happened to be a line in the film. PUtting in this much work to perfectly get a song down about a movie before it actually HAPPENED and getting it right is just one of manyr easons this man fucking rocks.

8. This is The Life (Dare To Be Stupid)

Dare To Be Stupid had more to offer than just the title track and while I already shared one great song from it earlier, it still has two more in the tank. And while you can probably guess the next one This is The Life is a criminally underated song, the tale of a smug man bragging about how rich he is. Al's fast upbeat tone, the fun lyrics and just general goofiness make this one of my faviorites and always a joy to listen to while mocking the hell out of the one percent.. which Al probably is at this point but that's okay man we love ya anyway.

7. Dog Eat Dog (Polka Party Polka Party is a decent Al-Bum, but it's easy standout is this stylistic parody of one of my faviorite bands: The Talking Heads. Like my hatred of "Do I Make You Proud?", i'm not hiding my bias here: while I always liked this song even before being a Talking Heads Head, just how spot on it is and how Al somehow mimicks Dave Byrne's hammy yet entirely calm style of singing. Even for him mimicking Byrne is an Achivement

Dog Eat Dog, while hilariously spoofing office life, really feels like a lost Talking Heads song. Singing about how much you love the office and jelly donuts and need your liquid paper, where's your liquid paper sounds exactly like something David Byrne would do and thus it's only inches into parody.. but in a way that works. David Byrne would do this and that's why it's so damn funny.

6. I Was Only Kidding (Off the Deep End)

Off the Deep End was pretty great, but it's triumph was not mocking Nirvana (though it was still awesome), but an original number by Al where one supreme dick tells his girlfriend his deep declrations of love were one joke. The sheer manic Al's character takes in this incredibly cruel act combined with the implication he gets shot for his bullshit makes this great enough.. but once again adding in a choir elevates an al song from good to

5. The Night Santa Went Crazy (Bad Hair Day) Bad Hair Day ends it's reign on this list with a classic. Do I really have to explain why this one is so fun? Dark? yes. Violent? Yes. Utterly hilarious yes. While Santa is evil is an easy take and santa going serial killer has been the subject of several films jollily tlaking about how he murders everyone in sight and his wife's selling the movie rights just works for me. It's right up there with other christmas classics for me.

4. Dare To Be Stupid (.... guess) A supreme ode to idiocy with a catchy beat, nice squeaky and hammy vocals alternating when needing, and a manic pace that never lets up it's no wonder that this is one of the best tracks in the already all timer Transformers the Movie Soundtrack and still went on to headline it's own album. IT's fast paced, non stop hilarious, and throughly stupid. It's the best. Well not really we have three more to go but it's one of them.

3. Genius in France (Poodle Hat

Al wrote a few epics in his later career, Starting with Albequrque (which isn't on the list, dont' throw things please and thank you) But while all four are great, again please don't throw things, I gave it to my faviorite. Al has managed to make one joke premises into 80 joke songs, it's most of this list in fact but making a 13 minute epic with switching song types about french sterotypes and idiocy jokes that never lets up and I can never not nlisten to the whole thing. That's a true genius, even if it likely wasn't recorded in france. Every time I get bored, the song switches up to keep my attention, and comes up with some new and clever way to make fun of the singers intellgence or french sterotypes. It never stops. If you listen closely you'll still hear it playing on the ends. A true masterpiece that al rightfully still plays in concert that I don't feel nearly gets the love it deserves.

2. Close But No Cigar (Straight Outta Lynwood)

Yet another style parody of a band I like. What a shocker. I don't have the devotion to Cake I do to Queen or The Talking Heads, but their still neat and Al for the 90th time this list perfectly apes their style. It's stuff we've seen if good stuff

What elevates this one is the subject, being about a guy who keeps seeming to find his dream girl only to get hung up on some very stupid flaw like using infer instead of imply or one earlobe being too big. TH ebuild up to WHAT he's going to have his problem, the kicking chorus nad the cool as hell breakdown all make this one that's close to number one.. but no cigar. Also yes the video is good if sadly made by a pedophile.

Hardware Store (Poodle Hat)

Number one goes to a true classic. one every al fan knows by heart.. well at least up to the part where he fucking explodes, rattling off about 80 diffrent objects in the span of two minutes to the point even HE can't do it live. Before that it's the simple but charming tale of a guy whose excited his town's getting a hardware store. The dorky midwest charm of just being excited something new is opening is something I relate to and this song captures that beautifully. Granted i'm not a tool guy but whatever you like you can relate to seeing "all this stuff " and rattling off a list in your head, and the sheer joy, infectious chorus and of course that fucking bridge make this number one eaisly. What is a book/comic/fanfic you've read and loved that you would recommend to someone else?

I'll try and answer all three but it's making me realize I haven't read a proper book in years, but I'll do my best to do some recs!

Book-wise, all I'm coming up with is books from my childhood, so the Animorphs series (the kids turning into animals books. Forewarning as the books deal with a lot of issues, specifically trauma and ptsd, so fair warning as it might read a little bit differently reading it as an adult-ish person compared to when reading it when you were a kid 🥺) and the Two Princesses of Barmarre by Gail Carson Levine, more famously known for Ella Enchanted (also a good recc, btw) but I liked Two Princesses better. It's about two sisters that are like night and day in personality, but are very close to each other. When the braver and bolder of the two is struck down by an illness, it's up to her sister to find her own courage to save her. It's a sweet story and a good read, from what I can remember of it.

Comics... Imma cheat a little since I don't really read American style comics as I've been a weeb since practically birth, so I'll recc some manga instead!

Fruits Basket is one of my go-tos and has been for forever. Another series I would recommend is Alice 19th by Yuu Watase (more famous for Fushigi Yuugi which was also a childhood fave of mine, but again, I really like Alice 19th too). Magic Knights Rayearth by CLAMP is also a fave mine that I would recommend.

Fanfic-side, while it's not a fandom kinda fic, Cindy by NiteWrighter on ao3 always makes me laugh. It's a Cinderella story retelling, but it is so hilarious, you gotta read it!

Fandom fic style, No More Kisses by Nospringonions. It's a Hakuouki fic with Okita and Chizuru and... this is not a happy fic. It ripped my soul out and stomped on it with how much this hurt. People die in there (tho not who you're expecting to, based on who I said above, Hakuouki fandom, iykyk). For something less, uhh... soul crushing? Burning Down the Night by Tasebi. Fluff and smut with IkeSen Hideyoshi, yeah, less soul crushing than the Hakuouki one

You don't become a multiversal villain from a happy fucking childhood.

As you get older you realise the villains in comic books usually had it fucking right, and the heroes were blinded by 'goodness' and all that crappy bullshit. Heroes will say they've been through a lot, that they've been through trauma. Please, don't make me laugh. You think just because Steve Rogers was frozen for a couple of years he's seen trauma? You're pathetic if you sympathise him.

Villain is such a nasty word school yard taunts really. I'm just a person who see's things clearer than others, someone who's been to all corners of most universes. Yeah, you see some shit being as old as I am.

I was alone in my penthouse in the middle of New York City, I can travel the multiverse I can go wherever I want. But I like being here where the Avengers are, it's always fun to mess with them in some way or another.

I sat down in my favourite green leather chair and sighed. I had a glass of whiskey in my hand as I swirled it gently.

I groaned trying to ignore the voices in my head.

"Big surprise, the villain is mentally ill." I growled looking down at the glass in my hand.

"We aren't all villains in this one body, some of us are some of us aren't. Yeah this body is basically just a hotel, I lost count of how many different souls there are in this body. Good thing is, we can change how we look, depending on who's in control we can change to how we see ourselves. Which sucks sometimes because two of us are children, easier to hurt if we get captured. Only reason we are all here is because of one girl, Molly. She's the owner of this body, when she was five she went through something, something that changed her forever. Somehow she had the power to reach to all different sides of all different realities and take souls. Drawing them into her one body so she could escape to the safety of her own mind. I'm one of them she stole, I used to be an all powerful vampire that ruled an entire world. Now I'm a soul trap in a body with countless other souls, but I can't help the nag in my mind to protect Molly. I mean that's why we're all here isn't it?" I say as I chuckle to myself.

"No dear, I'm not talking to myself. I'm talking to you, the person reading this. What? I'm an inter-dimensional all powerful being, you think I can't break the forth wall?" I say with a smirk still looking down at my drink.

"But I guess you've had enough of me haven't you? Maybe I should let you meet the one you've been waiting for. I'm sure you've heard of her." I said standing up and closing my eyes.

"Say hi to Nova for me." I whispered before relaxing my body feeling her slowly take over my body.

Nova's POV

I gasped and opened my eyes seeing I was in my body again, long brown curly hair with purple streaks and a small body, I looked weak but I wasn't at all. I looked around the penthouse and groaned.

"Shadow you better not have hurt anyone." I growled looking around for any type of blood or weaponry.

"Calm down, I just pissed off the Avengers a little." Shadow said in my head making me roll my eyes.

"You need to stop pissing them off. What happens when they catch us? What if they use a power dampener on us and they draw out Molly. She hasn't been in control since...well you know." I muttered grabbing Shadow's whiskey and pouring it down the sink.

"You're so tense, just chill out." Shadow growled before disappearing into our mind.

Out of all of us I'm one of the eldest, before Molly summoned us all here I was an immortal warrior. I had lived a very long time and now I'm here, with all these different souls in one body. Sometimes I miss my old life but I understand I have a mission here. I protect most of us, well being a well trained immortal warrior with magic, I tend to be the best protector.

There's so many of us, it gets exhausting keeping track. So, I just try my best to remind everyone I'm the one that leads.

But I suppose Leo is the one that takes care of everyone, he takes care of me when I need. I'm immortal of course I have trauma that I have to deal with, Leo helps me with that. He was a royal guard before all of this, he protected a princess in another reality. I suppose that's why he loves protecting us so much.

I could go on forever about all of our stories, but I guess they can tell you that in time.

I didn't really know what to do with myself, maybe I could take a bath. I wandered into the bathroom and found the luxurious large white tub.

"Oh man, I definitely deserve a relaxing bath." I whispered to myself finding some bath salts, I remembered I had stocked this bathroom up with bath bombs and bath salts. I'm old fashioned, I still love taking baths rather than showering.

I eventually filled up the tub and looked into the warm pink water slowly stripping off my clothes. This was one of the universes I liked going to, a nice penthouse in the middle of New York and I always had the chance to see the Avengers. Yeah I know, the immortal warrior is a superhero nerd.

I settled into the bath and sighed feeling the warm water on my skin.

"Nova, I sense something." Gal whispered in my mind, I sensed something as well.

"I know, I just got in the bath." I whined out, I decided to just stay in the bed as I heard a knock at the door.

"Argh. Just come in!" I shouted out unlocking the front door. Trust me if by any chance it was a murderer I could take them. The bathroom door opened and I looked up to see Captain America and The Winter Soldier.

"Well, that wasn't expected." I muttered as they awkwardly looked away.

"We're sorry, we were looking for someone. We thought this might be their apartment." Bucky said as I chuckled and slowly stepped out of the bath and grabbing my towel.

"It's just me in this place." I muttered wrapping the towel around myself. I knew they were here for Shadow, she had somehow drawn them to you.

"We're looking for a villain by the name Shadow." Steve said as you chuckled a little.

"Well, I'm Nova. It's nice to meet you I suppose." I muttered looking up at them blushing a little. They may have been two of my favourite Avengers.

"I'm Steve and this is Bucky. We're sorry we bothered you." Steve said as I froze all of a sudden.

"O-Oh god." I whispered noticing I couldn't move my body.

"G-Go." I whispered as they looked at me in confusion. I could tell someone was taking over, I just didn't know who.

"Are you alright?" Bucky asked as I fell to my knees.

"I'm sorry." I whispered as I looked up at them, suddenly my eyes turned to black and I was pushed back inside our mind.

Our eyes turns black and our body went to a shadowy figure as they screamed.

Oh no, it was The Other.

"What the hell?" Bucky whispered as they stepped back a little.

The Other screamed and screamed at them.

We didn't know where they had come from, just that they were stuck within our mind. Bound by chains with an animalistic personality, we all just knew they were tortured and traumatised.

"We need to calm them down." I whispered within our mind as The Other launched at Bucky, he quickly dodged and threw them to the floor.

"Fuck. I have to take control, I'm sorry." I whispered as The Other screamed and fell to the ground, I had to forcefully take control.

They screamed in pain as the body returned to how I looked.

I gasped and looked up at the two men noticing I was naked.

"I think it would be best if you came with us." Steve said as I quickly summoned clothes around my body.

"Please, I mean no harm. I'm sorry about that." I whispered looking up at them.

"We won't hurt you, we just think it would be best if we knew who you were. And that you're definitely not Shadow." Bucky said as I thought for a moment. We couldn't go to another reality yet, we didn't have enough power.

"C-Can you promise me something?" I whispered slowly standing up.

"What is it?" Steve asked, they would probably say no but I needed to know.

"If I go with you, you have to promise you won't put anything on me that will take away my powers. I-If you do...it could go terribly. Please promise me you won't do that and I'll go with you." I whispered looking up at them as they looked down on me.

"You could be dangerous." Bucky spoke up as I nodded.

"You can put something on me that dampens our power, but you can't get rid of it completely. It would be dangerous for us with no power." I tried to explain as they nodded.

"Alright, we can work around that." Steve said as I nodded.

"Can you promise us you're not going to hurt any of us?" Steve asked as I smiled a little and nodded.

"I promise Steve, I'll come peacefully. A-And then explain all of this." I whispered looking up at them both.

"We'll take you back to the tower." Steve said as I nodded and followed the out of my apartment.

"Are you tied to Shadow?" Bucky asked as I headed into the elevator.

"I-In some ways." I whispered awkwardly. How the hell was I going to explain any of this?

"I-I can tell you more when we're somewhere safe." I muttered as the two men nodded.

"We understand, we can talk about all of this when we get to the tower." Steve said as I nodded and closed my eyes. Praying I could stay in control.

I could feel Molly crying and screaming, pretty much all the time but it still hurt to hear. I felt so weak and vulnerable, not to mention alone.

You followed the men down the streets of New York until you reached the Avengers tower.

I was a little intimidated. Usually Shadow handled any interaction with the Avengers.

I followed them into the elevator and crossed my arms over my body.

"Will I be punished for being...different?" I whispered not looking at the two men behind me.

"No you won't be. Unless you're a killer, but even then we don't do torture." Bucky said as you smiled a little.

"I haven't killed anyone...in this universe at least." I whispered the last part making sure they wouldn't hear me.

I could feel I was starting to lose control, I could feel my body shaking. The elevator doors opened into the main room of the tower.

"I-I feel like I'm going to lose control." I whispered feeling tears in my eyes.

"What do you mean?" Steve asked as you saw other people gathering around.

"Like what happened before. B-But I don't know who will come out this time." I whispered to them looking around the room.

"Oh no." I whispered as my eyes rolled back in my head and everything went black.

Shadow's pov

Well, would you look at that. I'm in the Avengers tower. Thanks Nova.

"Well, well the Avengers. It's great to see you all." I said smirking at them all. Steve grabbed me from behind and kept my hands behind my back.

"I knew someing wasn't right, were you just pretending to be Nova so we would help you?" Bucky growled making me chuckle lightly.

"No, Nova is real. We all are real, there's many different souls in this one body. I'm the one that has been terrorising you all, Nova and the others have done nothing. So, if you want to be angry, be angry with me. Not them." I said trying to play nice, it felt disgusting.

"We're putting you in a cell, Tony get those power dampeners." Steve said dragging me back into the elevator. I could easily get out of this but some part of me wanted to see where this went.

Steve, Bucky and Tony dragged me down to the cells. Just before they put the cuff around me I groaned. I knew Nova would handle this better than I could.

Nova's pov

I gasped and looked around to see Steve and Bucky in front of me, they clipped a cuff around my wrist as I rolled my eyes.

"Of course Shadow made me deal with this." I muttered quietly before they shoved me into the cell.

"Can't believe I fell for that." Bucky muttered as I looked at him.

"You didn't fall for anything, I'm not Shadow. We're two separate beings that happen to share a body. What Shadow did has nothing to do with the rest of us." I muttered looking down at them. I could see they didn't believe me.

"You can explain it in an interrogation tomorrow Shadow." Steve said as I glared at him. I hated being called that.

"I'm not Shadow!" I screamed at them as they looked at me in shock.

"We aren't the same person, don't you dare say that again." I growled at them, they just ignored me and walked away as I slid down the wall and hugged my knees to my chest.

This was weird, I felt trapped. Usually if I felt trapped one of the others would take over, but because of the power cuffs I couldn't.

"Leo?" I whispered out.

"I'm here." I heard Leo whisper in my head as I smiled softly. Leo had always taken care of us all, especially me.

"I feel so trapped, not just because of the cell. But these cuffs stopping us from changing." I whispered aimlessly playing with my hands.

"I know dear, but it's going to be okay. I know how strong you are and I know you can handle this just as good as any of us, if not better. These men seem like they could understand all of this if you explained it." Leo replied making me smile.

"Thank you Leo, I guess this cell isn't so bad. I've seen worse."

I woke up the next morning in the uncomfortable small bed in the cell. I felt so weak and vulnerable. I sat up in the bed and sighed softly before I heard footsteps. I looked up to see Bucky and Steve as I slowly stood up. Steve came in and handed me a bottle of water as I quickly drank it all down and wiped my mouth.

"Thank you." I muttered before handing the bottle back to him.

"Come with us, we need to talk." Steve said as I nodded and followed them out of the cell, they led me down a hallway and into a small room. I knew how this went, I sat at one end of the table and waited for the other two to sit down.

Steve sat in front of me and Bucky behind him.

"I'll try to do my best to answer your questions, but I don't know much. Shadow did all of this not me." I said looking into Steve's eyes, I knew they weren't buying it.

"What's your motive?" Bucky asked as I looked up at him and sighed.

"I don't know she never told me, none of us know why Shadow does all of this." I replied making Steve smile.

"Alright, I'll play. If you're not Shadow then let us talk to her." Steve said making me sigh.

"The power cuffs stop us from changing, so unless you take it off you're dealing with me." I growled at the two men as Bucky chuckled.

"You really think we're believing all of this? You obviously have power, so you kept shape shifting so we couldn't find you." Bucky said as I groaned and rested my head on the table.

"I'm going to kill Shadow for doing this." I muttered a little before I heard Molly screaming making me wince in pain.

"What's wrong?" Steve asked as I held my head in my hands.

"It's Molly." I muttered trying to breath through the pain. Molly had a scream that could get us all to feel her pain.

"Who's Molly?" Bucky asked as I looked up at him.

"She's the original, the one that owns our body. She was a human, somehow she had the power to summon all of our souls here to protect her." I tried to explained as Steve looked at me in curiosity.

"So, you have multiple personalities?" Steve asked as I chuckled a little.

"It's an over simplification but more or less yeah. Just with power and we all had lives before Molly summoned us." I muttered as they nodded.

"How did a human girl summon all of you here?" Bucky asked making me sigh.

"We've all been trying to work that out too. Something happened to Molly when she was five, something that broke her and made her powerful enough to summon us all here. To protect her." I explained as the two men looked at me in thought.

"Honestly that's a lot of information to take in. But even if you aren't Shadow she needs to be punished for what she did, and that means you all get punished." Steve said making me sigh.

"I'll leave this reality, you won't ever have to deal with us again. We can jump realities, just let us go and I'll promise we won't return." I tried to bargain with them as they both looked at me.

"We can't let you do that Nova." Steve said as I glared at him I grabbed the cuff and used all my power to break it off my wrist.

"I warned you." I growled before everything turned black.

War's pov

I gasped and opened my eyes as Nova's body faded away, my black short hair flowed out as I looked at the two men in front of me.

"You guys are fucked." I said smirking as they stood up ready to fight them.

"And who the hell are you?" Bucky asked as I smiled.

"They call me War." I growled as flames engulfed my body.

"They call me when someone needs to burn." I growled as I glared at them.

"I don't think so." Steve growled pressing a button on the wall of the room as I screamed in pain and fell to my knee's.

Nova's pov

What's going on? I knew something was happening, I was watching everything from inside our mind.

"No..." I whispered as War was pushed back into our mind.

"What the fuck is happening!?" War screamed as looked to see our body was changing.

"They got rid of our power, Molly is coming out." I whispered in disbelief, she hasn't been out in so long, since the incident.

"This can't happen."

Molly eventually came out and looked around in fear, her body changing into it's original form, a terrified five year old girl.

"What the hell?" Bucky whispered in disbelief. Suddenly Molly let out one of her screams, in made the two men drop to their knees.

"She's calling The Monster." I whispered watching the scene play out before me. Suddenly a large shadowy figure began to form in the room as the two men looked up. A hideous monster began to form as Molly continued to scream. The Monster was something Molly controlled, none of us knew if it was a being or just something she created, but in last resort moments he would come out and protect her. Killing anyone in the way. The Monster was about to fully form before Bucky reached up and pressed the button again. We regained our power and I took control of our body once more, returning to my usual looks. I couldn't help but start to cry, Molly's emotions were effecting us all.

"You promised!" I screamed as they regained their posture.

"We're sorry, we didn't believe you. But we should've." Bucky said slowly approaching me.

"Stay away! You promised you wouldn't do that! You have no idea what you just did! Molly hasn't been in control in hundreds of years, our one job is to make sure she doesn't ever have to come out. And you just ruined that! She's going to be so upset and terrified, because of you two!" I screamed at them, I could see the guilt in their eyes.

"I'm leaving." I growled before storming through the door, but Bucky grabbed me.

"Don't make me kill you." I hissed lowly at him making him sigh.

"We want to help you Nova, this place could be safe for you. We can better handle all of this, you could have a safe place to live and heal, where you're all allowed to come out whenever you want. We're sorry for what we did, and we're sorry we didn't believe you. Either you stay here and let us help you or we shove you in a cell and never let you out." Bucky said as I tried to not cry.

"I'm scared." I whispered as Bucky looked at me sadly.

"I know doll, I can imagine you've all been running for a long time. It's time to stop running, we can figure something out. Let you live out your 'punishment' here in the tower, we can help you all have a safe place to live." Bucky said looking into my eyes, no one had ever offered us somewhere safe to live, no one had ever seen anything but fear and disgust in us.

"Why would you do this for us?" I whispered making Bucky smile softly.

"Because we understand you a little better now, we know you just need somewhere safe to be. Deep down don't all of you just want to be cared for a loved by someone?" Bucky whispered making tears fall down my cheeks.

I couldn't find the right words, Bucky smiled and gently wrapped his arms around me as I froze. It had been so long since I had felt any kind of affection.

"Let us help you Nova." He whispered as I slowly wrapped my arms around him in return and cried onto his chest.

"I'll go talk to the team." Steve said as Bucky nodded and watched him leave still holding onto me tightly.

"I haven't felt any kind of physical touch for so long. I'm a monster, why do you want to help me?" I whispered as I felt his hand go through my hair, I wanted to melt in his arms, his touch was so gentle and kind.

"Because I understand what it's like to have no one, to keep running away from everything. Yes you all did bad things in the past but I now understand everything more. I understand why you're running and I understand you just need a safe place to be yourself." He whispered as I nodded and slowly pulled away wiping my tears from my face.

"H-How will the team react? I'm not exactly an angel a-and all of the others, I don't know how they will react." I muttered beginning to panic.

"Doll, take a deep breath. Everything will be okay." Bucky said making me nod and smile softly.

Tony had set up a spare room for me, we had talked it all over and we decided I would talk to everyone else inside our mind and let them know that this was a safe place.

They were pretty understanding considering, I thought they would riot. But I think Bucky was right, we all just wanted to be cared for and loved. There was something about Bucky that drew me to him, I felt like when I was with him I could breath easily.

I decided I would let Kara meet them all today, she had been over excited about the news. I stood in front of the team and took a deep breath as my body changed into a black haired eight year old girl.

I decided to stay at the front of our mind so I could watch how she would react to everyone.

She gasped and smiled brightly.

"The Avengers!" She shouted with glee making them smile.

"You must be Kara." Steve said as she smiled and nodded, she ran up and hugged Bucky tightly making him smile.

"And you're Prince Bucky." She said giggling, it made me laugh a little, she looked so happy and at ease.

"Well, if I'm a Prince that would make you a Princess." He replied as she smiled up at him, she went around the room and gave each of the team a hug making them smile. She came back to Bucky and hugged him again as he smiled.

"You're welcome to come out anytime Kara." Steve said making her smile.

"Thank you Mr. Steve." She said making Steve chuckle a little.

"Hey, why don't we play hide and seek?" Tony suggested as Kara gasped and cheered.

"Yes please!"

I had watched the team play hide and seek with Kara for a good two hours before she got tired.

"Do you want to go rest and Nova can come out sweetie?" Bucky asked as he held onto his hand and nodded.

"Yes please, bye bye Bucky." She whispered before closing her eyes and letting me take over again.

I opened my eyes to see Bucky in front of me smiling, the rest of the team was around as I smiled.

"Thank you all so much." I muttered before hugging Bucky.

"She was lovely, we don't mind one bit." Steve said as the rest smiled.

"We can't wait to meet everyone else." Bucky said as I pulled away and smiled up at him.

"I'm sure they're all very eager to meet you all."

Synopsis: As if getting thrown through the multiverse, trapped in an attic (albeit a cool one), mind-controlled to manipulate his grieving sister, and subsequently dragged out of Westview “for his own safety” by the FBI wasn’t enough, Peter Maximoff has now been shipped off to New York to live with a glorified baby sitter like some tragic orphan in a comic book until they find a way to get him back home. Things are not always as they seem, though, and this change might just be for the better.

Synopsis: After a month of adapting to his new universe, Peter Maximoff can confidently say that he likes his new life more than his old one. Sure, he misses home sometimes, but he’s been far too busy flirting with his new roommate to spend time crying over the things he’s lost. Everything is smooth sailing until a strange journal in his roommate’s study leaves him with more questions than he knows what to do with. Now he’s on a mission to discover who he’s really living with before she has the chance to turn against him.

In Defense of Salt AND Sugar: Aka ML Fandom pls chill out.

So I don’t talk much as those who follow me will say I tend to just stick to myself and my own things. HOWEVER, Ive gotten a lot of asks about why I write both Salt and Sugar for Miraculous Ladybug.

The short answer: Both salt and sugar are valid, fun, intriguing things to read and write and the point of writing is to entertain and be entertained.

The long answer: Salt isn’t inherently someone hating on your fav show and sugar isn't someone necessarily giving it a free pass either. Ya’ll are just dramatic as hell.

The LONGER answer:

I write salt because I LIKE Miraculous Ladybug, BUT the show has not lived up to its potential AT ALL. The show could be so much better and the characters are so flawed or full of holes that occasionally I feel FRUSTRATED and mad!

I hate that Alya a character who I was so excited about, gets shafted ignored, sidelined, or written like a jerk! She could have been this great detective working alongside her friend to unmask the villain, but instead she often comes across as pushy, obsessed with Ladynoir or Adrinette, and so damn easily tricked. Not to mention how when shes not gushing over her ‘ships’ shes pushed to the side and ignored. [or you know... LILA]

I hate that Marinette’s crush makes her do things that are so cringy and awkward i feel ill I hate that she’s constantly the only one making mistakes and ‘learning lessons’ when the show has all these other great characters that could use the spotlight and be the ones learning lessons. I hate that she’s so jealous and that she cant ever seem to catch a break as if the show is punishing her constantly.

I HATE that Adrien is a mary sue, how the writers say hes perfect and treat him as such, I hate that he gets to guilt Marinette into fixing everything and dealing with bullies, I wanted a funny, Ron Stoppable, naive boy who learns about real friendships and grows into a great partner. Instead he gets to be pushy and downright a jerk as Chat Noir ignoring his responsibilities, guilting Ladybug with his feelings, never taking no as an answer. He’s not a good role model for kids.

I hate that Chloe got built up to have a redemption arc several times only for the writers to decide that Chloe a teenage girl who needs some serious therapy [and actual reasonable punishment for her actions] is worse than Gabriel child abuse Agreste. She could have been a great lesson on compassion and growth and dealing with your own pain without hurting others. Instead the writers wrote her off completely.

And dont get me started on how the show treats Nino, Kagami, Luka and the rest of the cast. They may as well be a backdrop for the forced love square that we NEVER get a break from. Seriously I’m a sucker for romance but does it need to be EVERY damn episode?! Can’t we just get some wholesome friendship between everyone including Adrien and Marinette at this point like COME ON.

And i’m not even touching on the white washing, awful lessons on responsibility and forgiveness, awful lessons on well so much other stuff really, the guilt trips, the teacher, the fact that she show could be used to teach kids how to better handle negative emotions and the importance of open communication and not keeping quiet about injustice and/or your feelings but instead decided that the main priority should be a love square that gets force fed to us EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.

My point is the show has FLAWS. That doesn’t mean its the worse show ever and it doesn’t mean its not fun, and has a great premise and characters, and so when I write Salt I write it because i’m frustrated! Im frustrated with the show, with the characters, with the writing and so I vent that out with salt I write those characters as their worst selves because I cant stand how the show has decided to treat them and Im ANGRY and disappointed.

It feels good to write salt and to read it. It’s nice to see characters get called out for bad behavior, its nice to read about Adrien not getting the girl. Its nice to occasionally indulge in salt because it validates that the show is flawed and lets you get out that frustration.

BUT ON THE FLIP SIDE

Miraculous Ladybug is a lovely show. It’s a show that decided to give little girls a FEMALE HERO. And not just as a side kick or background character! No they made her the protagonist! Its so important to me that little girls see good well rounded female characters in media.

And even if the show is clumsy about it they are TRYING to build an expansive lore that tickles the theorist brain. And gets people invested in the world.

The show also made Marinette shy, and awkward, and clumsy something a lot of girls deal with during puberty as growing up can literally make you clumsier as your body adjusts. Having a character who tries to be positive and tries to find solutions who solves things with creativity instead of pure violence. Thats LOVELY for young girls to see.

Growing up I loved and admired Kim Possible, and probably would have loved Marinette, even if the shows not perfect I can admit its trying and I can see why people love it as much as they do! And why they write these fluffy sugary fics its the reason I WRITE fluffy sugary things.

Because even though I am frustrated and angry and disappointed with the show, I still see Alya’s potential and how great she is as representation to little girls who want a black female superhero so I write fluff where Alya’s loyalty, compassion, cleverness and her pursuit of justice are center stage.

I see how Adrien could be better and I want him to be better and I WANT him to be the naive funny comic relief the Ron Stoppable to Marinette’s Kim Possible. I want Adrien to grow and learn and spit in his dad’s face I want him to overcome the abuse and be happy. To show people that neglect and abuse doesn’t mean you will get stuck like that forever, that you can overcome that and be a better kinder person.

I want Nino and Kagami, and Luka and Chloe and the class to grow and get attention and have funny moments I want to laugh and make other people laugh! So I write prompts focused around comedy and shenanigans and where the characters get to be fun and silly and make decisions for themselves!

SO IN CONCLUSION:

I write salt AND sugar. I see the value and merit in both sides of the coin, and I respect how other people see the show. I know its easy to get angry with other people in the fandom who see the show differently then you do but please can we put down the weapons and just BREATHE.

Someone who writes salt might LOVE the same show as you, and they might in fact love it so much that they vent their frustrations in angst and salt and cracky fics. Let them vent about how they wish the show was better, leave their tags alone or block them if you cant stand to see it. But dont attack salt writers for ‘hating on your show’ when they might love it just as much as you do but want a way to vent out their feelings.

On the flip someone who writes sugar might NOT be forgiving the show for its flaws, they might see all the same flaws as you but decide to take that frustration and write fluff and fix it fics and sugar because they want to indulge in a version of their favorite show where everything is just... OK. Where everyone is well written and happy and the character development sticks. Stay out of their tags let them have their sugar, they aren't writing it to hurt you just like you don't write salt to hurt them.

So ENOUGH. Enough hunting each other down, enough sending each other hate, enough filling each others tags. Let people write SALT if they feel angry and vengeful and disappointment, let them have their tags, let them explore the dark side of the characters, let them rant and rave and be HURT when the characters they love upset them with their actions. Its not your place to tell them to stop, to tell them their feelings are invalid, to tell them that ‘adrien is sweet sunshine boy how dare you’ or ‘alya would never’ or ‘i hate your marinette leaves dupont au’. Just leave it be, heed the tags, and let it go.

AND ENOUGH. Enough hunting each other down, enough sending each other hate, enough filling each other tags. Let people write SUGAR if they just want something to feel happy about. Let them makes coffee shop au’s, let them make fix it fics where everything is just happy without needing 8 pages of backstory for why everything is just happy. Let them squeal and gush and talk about the ship they like and the fluff they see. Its not your place to argue with them that the show is flawed, its not cool to ruin their fun by accusing them of not understanding the flaws, to tell them ‘umm actual this character shouldn’t get to be happy’ or ‘wow this is so shallow’. Just leave it be, heed the tags, and let it go.

PS: Now with that said and done. I do have one final message for everyone - If you write/enjoy pedophilia, if you sexualize KIDS. Then get the fuck out of fandom spaces, stop fucking following me, and do everyone salt and sugar a favor by LEAVING. Your pedophilia and child sexualization aint wanted, aint ok, and I will fight you.

PSS: IF YOU HATE WHAT IVE SAID ABOUT SUGAR AND SALT FINE OK I RESPECT YOU REGARDLESS. ENJOY THE SHOW, STAY CLASSY, DONT HURT PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION.
