You & my partner have gotten me on the Martlet x The Roba pairing train so I gotta ask; was there an 'O h.' moment for either of them when they had the realization?

YEESSS ONE OF US!! ONE OF US!!!!

i think they would both have an “o h” moment. i think martlet would have it during the period between clover dying and the barrier being broken. the crew spends a lot of time together, broken with grief, and struggling to support themselves. so martlet travels from snowdin to the dunes a LOT. suddenly her big ass house is too big, shes so separated from her friends so far away. she has dalv, but he wasnt there for clovers death and didnt see what she did. ceroba knows the feeling well. so i think martlet spends a lot of time with ceroba at her house; doesnt move in, because she cant bear to let go of her house, but spends a lot of time there.

you would expect martlet to have a big exciting moment of realization but i think she would just. realize it on a random day. and THEN she would freak out and immediately avoid ceroba and talk to starlo. who tries his best to stop martlet from panicking and mitigate damages but they both realize how stricken and traumatized ceroba still is from chujin and kanako and clover so. they cant really do anything about it. so unfortunately now starlo is subjected to martlets ramblings and lovestricken conversations like shes a teenager wirh a first crush

CEROBA HOWEVER. DOES get a big “aw fuck” moment. when they get to the surface she asks martlet to move in with her; it just makes sense, now that they’ve spent so much time together. might as well. so martlet moves in and just fits right in, taking care of kanako and ceroba when she needs it, being handy, and just generally being a good roommate! and then ceroba watches martlet teach kanako how to woodwork, both of them struggling to read martlets blueprints and stumbling around trying to find a single nail and she cant help but laugh and realize how happy she is. how she never thought she would see her family happy like this again after chujin. and then she realizes that.. she feels the same way about martlet as she did chujin. she sees a partner (platonic at the time, anyways) helping raise a child and live in her house and show affection to anyone and everyone, even her, and she realizes she loves martlet

and then she ALSO dumps all this info to starlo who sits there like “my god my dumbass bisexual friends dont want to talk to each other”

Y/N had been dating her boyfriend Sam for almost five months now. She was very happy in her relationship with the very sweet and loving blond boy.

Today was the day she met his family for the first time. To say she was nervous was a massive understatement. She was scared that they would not like her. You see, she had met his friends a couple of weeks ago, and the meeting had gone anything but well. They had not liked her very much, and she was afraid that this meeting with his family would go as teribly as the one with his friends had gone.

Sam nervously held Y/N's hand as they walked into the living room of the Traphouse to meet his friends. All the boys as well as Devyn were there. Colby greeted them with a hearty laugh and a pat on the back, but the rest eyed Y/N with skepticism.

"I'm so glad you're finally meeting everyone," Sam said, smiling at Y/N. "Hey guys, this is Y/N."

His friends offered polite smiles, but the atmosphere grew tense. "So, Y/N, what do you do for a living?" Colby asked, breaking the silence.

"I'm a YouTuber," Y/N replied. "I love gaming and sometimes exploring abandoned places with Sam when he's not filming for the duo channel."

"Ah, sounds exciting," Corey said, unconvinced.

Later, as they drove to Y/N's apartment, Y/N said, "Your friends don't seem to like me much."

Sam tightened his grip on the steering wheel. "They just need time to get to know you. They'll see how amazing you are."

She had at one point overheard thwm say a couple times that she wasn't good enough for him.

One that hurt the most is when she overheard a conversation between Sam and Colby.

Colby: *grunts* Sam, she's not what I expected.

Sam: What do you mean?

Colby: I don't know, man. She seems... different.

Sam: Different how?

Colby: It's hard to explain. Look, I just think you can do better.

The reason that one affected her so much is that she knew how much Sam valued Colby's opinion.

Y/N snapped out of her little trip down memory lane when the car stopped and sighed. They still hadn't warmed up to her at all.

Now she was sitting in the car now in front of Sam's childhood home, and she feared his parents would feel the same.

She had been right to worry. She had not even been in the house ten minutes, and they had already been looking at her with disapproval in their eyes.

She knew that if they made him choose, which they inevitably would, then he would choose them, and she would be alone again.

"I don't want to cause any problems," she confided in Sam after they had both taken a shower and were cuddling in bed together.

"I don't know Sammy... If I'm just going to cause problems between you and your family and friends, maybe we shouldn't be together." She said in a soft voice.

Sam immediately pulled her into his chest and shook his head. "No. I will not lose you because they are being stupid." He said with determination in his voice.

She really didn't care much for his other friends, but she wanted Colby to like and accept her.

Sam and Colby had been inseparable since they were 14 years old. They shared everything together - from their love for adventure to their quirky sense of humor, and she knew that. i have a great appreciation for the game RAIN WORLD, but i do not play it. my partner however does. and something we conflict about is scavengers

simply put, they are funny guys. less simply put they are very complex and intelligent entities you can encounter and interact with, influencing your "reputation" with them and all future scavengers you encounter. however, in spite of this complexity, they are not the best decision makers.

they are very skittish (and have some funny AI) and are easily disturbed. they usually react to these disturbances by throwing whatevers in hand- often being a spear, or perhaps a full on bomb.

and to clarify when i say easily disturbed i mean Easily. By anything.

something runs up to them a little too quickly? spear. something runs away from them a little too quickly? spear. something is standing completely still in a kindof weird spot? spear. you have bad reputation? spear. you have good reputation? spear. you need to pass through specific area? brother you best watch out, ive got spear

this skittishness and janky ui has led to them being ... maybe a little annoying to rain world players

so its a perfectly fair reaction to attack scavengers should you encounter them, especially depending on the run your doing. theyre just as likely to kill you on sight, so may as well return the favor

only one problem with this. I love them

theyre so funny AND cute. AND funny. theyre gangly things that run around and swing like gibbons and they are so funny and awesome. AND you can be friends with them. ypu should be nice, you can be friends with thwm. if you die thata a you problem. its not their fault your head is so un-resistant to spears. and they love pearls you should give pearls to them for being so cute and awesome. ypu can be friends. you should be so nice to them because they are so funny awesome

so now, the new rain world dlc is out. my partner is back to playing it for as much of the day as they can, seated next to me on the couch. good for them! happy. But they will be subject to my observation and commentary, right?

Th reason why i mentioned metal fight is that since i knew that show my entire life i had certain expectations on certain type of characters (ik bakuten came first but metal couldve been influenced by it and it was bcs there are similarities lol) (i mean king [from bakuten] looks almost identical to dynamis [from mfb] <- thats just one example) so i thought, while i was watching season 1, Kai Hiwatari was gonna be like Kyouya Tategami where hes with the team yes but doesnt see himself as a part of it and is there for himself only bcs hes a loner or whatever but then that thing at the end of the season happened he became a part of the team and the didnt have random unnecessary off screen character regression like kyouya did in the next 2 seasons (and also isnt an asshole abt it like when he left temporarily to battle takao in g revulotion he wasnt like “fuck you dumbass” like kyouya did basically 😭😭)….

That was so refreshing to see bcs thats not what i was expecting and thank god it exceeded my expectations 😭 thats why i keep saying kai is kyouya done right bcs he kinda is…. Though i find it funny when hes just standing in the background w his arms crossed or laying on the grass like damn bro wants to be cool so bad (not as cool as the frame of rei kon absolutely BALLING)

i need to tell you guys about Elion!!

Because I spend too much time on insta lately, yesterday I had a dream about elf who loved sun (or maybe even needed sun to function properly) and who becames vampire's slave. He doesn't get to see sun anymore, all his life now spent in darkness while his master feeds on him in every way. The vampire will also train him as a weapon!!!

And the process of it went like, I was in the bathroom and I was like "...Elion" and then I was like huh wow I really like it, it literally just popped up in my mind and then I was like LIKE HELION LIKE HELIOS THE GOD OF SUN THAT'S SO PERFECT and now I googled it and it means "sun" and "gift from the sun" PERFEC

anyway it's very sladick core and dark and Elion is my baby now

SAMS AU WHERE ECLIPSE WINS [OFFICIAL NAME KING ECLIPSE AU]

Sooo- I had yet another ideaa! Basically what happened was that in the fight against BloodMoon Eclipse won, however BloodMoon did not die. After that he threatened Moon and Sun one last time that if they do not give him the star he WILL destroy everything and everyone they know and love. Ofcourse the two of them tried finding a solution but it didnt work out so the only thing they had left to do was give Eclipse the star. The two were terrified as to what would happen to thwm as they knew that Eclipse is a dirty liar bitch. Lunar was scared too but atleast he would not get hurt by Eclipse as the two potentially could.

And so Eclipse reset the world, ofcourse Lunar, Sun and Moon had their memories intact and they were safe (somewhat) as Eclipse said. Eclipse waa now the Lord, Lunar was a prince and Sun and Moon were royality too but...not that high as Eclipse or Lunar, BloodMoon is a high ranked royal guard. Sun and Moon sort of work for Eclipse- Sun is in charge of the library or more like history records etc. and Moon is like a tech guy for Eclipse. Lunar got his own body! He stays in the palace/castle and wonders around, playing many tricks on both Sun and Moon but none that would harm them in any way, the same goes for Eclipse sometimes (Eclipse is annoyed by it) and occasionally for BloodMoon.

Now onto Kill code they did come to life, they grew inside of Moon and made their own personality just like in cannon what is different here tho is that when Moon and Kill code made a deal with switching for control, KC in that time has worked on making himself a body and when he was done he transferred himself into it . As we all know in the cannon Moon could not live without KC there was a risk of Moon dying or loosing his memories however KC managed to surpass that since he did not wish harm ir sadness nor stress upon Moon.

However KC did a little thing that Eclipse didn't notice, he put some kind of magic on Eclipse when he would even think about taking KC down Eclipse would be shocked by an elictricity making him glitch in the process. When the others found out about KC they were scared well except for BloodMoon he was very much excited to meet his father.

When KC had his own body he went after the newton star, he managed to steal it right under Eclipse's nose as he was talking to him. Eclipse ofcourse got furious and tried to take it back however KC played Eclipse on the father card he said that he doesnt want to take what is Eclipse's however KC also said that the fatjer of the family should make sure his kids dont get hurt. Eclipse tried to fight KC on that however KC used the star on him trapping Eclipse in one place. At the end Eclipse agreeded to KC's terms of KC being the Lord of the place watching over meanwhile Eclipse being the King who can do anything he wants as long as he does not hurt himself.

The meeting went suprisingly well even though Lunar was scared he liked KC. Sun....he was terrified under beyond...however KC gave him a cat as a calm down gift (as if he didnt have enough cats already..) and Moon...he at this point just didnt care-

Also- they have family game nights on friday!
