Rosh is a successful football player and a member of Stockholm's fanciest gym. Simon is a music student who has been spending all his free time lately cooped up in his tiny, dark apartment playing video games.

Rosh has been trying for months, all winter really, to convince Simon to come with her to the gym. One day, when she describes the gourmet juice bar menu in exquisite detail, he finally gives in and agrees to accompany her on her guest pass.

Besides the lure of the juice, Simon has been single for a long time. He wouldn't say he's looking to meet someone, but he's not not looking, either.

After Simon changes into his gym clothes and orders an organic fresh-pressed citrus concoction, Rosh shows him around the massive, gleaming, state-of-the-art gym.

When they pass by the rowing machines, Simon can't help but stare at the man working out on the machine in the far corner of the room, right in front of a mirror that runs the length of the wall.

Tall. Fitted tank top and short gym shorts. Lean, toned muscles. Sweaty, carelessly tousled hair.

Rosh elbows him. "I didn't realize you had a thing for rich guys."

"Oh, uh...who uh... who is that?"

"That's Wilhelm." She says with a bit of a mocking tone. "His mother owns the whole gym chain. She makes serious bank. His family owns a ton of real estate too."

Simon frowns a little. "So...he works out here?"

"Yeah, he's always around. He does personal training, too."

"Oh," Simon says as he watches Wilhelm towel off sweat from his neck and biceps after standing up from the rowing machine. Wilhelm drapes the towel over his shoulders and then runs his fingers through his hair, pushing it out of his eyes. He suddenly makes eye contact with Simon through the mirror.

Rosh grins. "I can get you a pretty good discount on a membership, you know." Wilhelm slowly smiles, Simon locked into his stare.

"Uh huh," Simon says before tripping over a yoga ball.

I’m so sorry this took me literal ages to get to 🙈🙈🙈 but thank you so much for the prompt anyway! It was a fun one and I hope you like the result ☺️

“Back off, Simon is mine.”

The way Wille’s actually full-on glaring at Henry, cheeks still pink from their warmup sprints and eyes a full shade darker than usual, shouldn’t do anything to Simon other than make him giggle. But damnit, he can’t help the tiny, primitive part of him that preens at hearing his boyfriend stake his claim on him so explicitly, even if it’s for something as minuscule as a game of dodgeball. And maybe, just maybe, the deeper register that Wille’s voice has slipped into like second nature is also doing some things to Simon that he really should reevaluate when they’re not in the middle of gym class.

“Okay, okay, have him then”, Henry says with his palms slightly lifted, and only once Wille has turned his back to him to face the remaining players to be picked, Simon can see him mouthing a “Jesus Christ” in Walter’s direction.

“So” Simon hums quietly once he’s made his way over to Wille’s team, making sure to brush his shoulder with his own as he goes to stand behind him, “I’m yours, huh?”

He doesn’t expect the little “Very much” Wille whispers back to him, voice still holding that same, deep vibration, but oh my, is he not going to disagree.

Simon squealed and rolled away from Wille’s tickling fingers, but then immediately rolled back because that part of the bed was cold and it was much warmer next to Wille, even if his boyfriend was trying to suffocate him by tickling him to death. 

“You can’t– Aye! You can’t have me for breakfast!” he gasped out between giggles, trying to capture Wille’s hands in his to stop the attacks, but Wille’s hands were so much bigger than his, and Wille had gotten so much stronger since he started going to that boxing gym, that Simon was effectively powerless. 

Wille climbed over Simon and forced a punch of air out of him as he dropped his full body weight on top of him, pinning Simon’s hands back to the mattress and leaning in to nip at his neck. 

“Why not?” Wille asked, grinning into Simon’s skin as the man squirmed under him, still giggling and trying to escape. “You’re so delicious.”

“We spent all that time baking that brioche last night!” Simon whined, managing to get his hands free and wrapping his arms around Wille’s waist, pulling him closer, and then using some momentum to roll them sideways, which backfired a little bit, because he only managed to say, “We can’t let it go to wa–!” before they went tumbling off the side of the bed.

Future wilmon are constantly like "I hope you have a nice afternoon" "I hope you have a nice lecture" "I hope you have a nice time at the gym". And people who overhear it have no idea that those are love declarations.

Need a Wilhelm Rage Edit!

OK, you amazing editors out there...we now have at least 1000 edits of Wilmon kissing....and while that is nice (puss puss) I need something cathartic for those days when I want to SCREAM!

I need a good Wilhelm rage edit containing: Wille yelling at August in Season 1 in the gym, Willie leaping on his desk and threatening the court in Season 2, and of course, the crown jewel, Wilhelm raging at his parents in Season 3. And any other "mini-rants" you wish to add.

The whistle blew and Wille panicked. He didn't want to fight Simon, not today. Simon climbed out quickly and pinned Wille's hands above his head. A bold move, assuming Simon could keep him down. He glared at Wille, and the world stopped. Wille fastened his thighs around Simon's midsection and swung his body onto the hardwood floor with a crash. 

"Fuck," Simon winced, and regret surged through Wille until Simon sat up, fiery and determined, and lunged at Wille.

This was so much fun to write hehe. I know you probably meant for it to be a 5+1 but I had already written it this way ... Oops hehe. Why didn't wille want to fight Simon? Why the glaring? 👀

What is your favorite Wilmon moment for each season? :)

Hi Simon, and thanks for asking! I am so terrible at answering "favorite" questions because I overthink and fear committing to just one! So instead these are just moments that I love 😍 and as a personal challenge I am excluding kissing scenes (also I feel I've far surpassed my monthly quota of kissing gif usage).

Season 1. I just love this interaction so much. They're both peak adorable and so endearing. Wille's nerves and his intense eye contact. Simon's snarkiness and then melting into that smile. The talking to your teenage crush of it all. It gives me butterflies.

Season 2. Okay, two gym scenes. Well, this one is just so iconic, I could watch it over and over again. Jealous Simon, I love you. Get him.

Season 3. Since I've ruled out the hallway scene and the post-choir-practice nuzzle session, I'm going with lake scene my beloved. Beautiful, spectacular, exquisite. I love angst and I love this scene so much. I can't put it into words. Wilhelm watching Simon swim away 😭 The second time I watched this scene I was an absolute wreck and had the most cathartic cry.

This has nothing to do with wilmon, or not wanting simon to have a boyfriend, it's just an observation based on what would happen in reality. All the schools I've worked with or had contact with have rules about non-involvement between employees and students regardless of the position they occupy, if Markus will be an employee or not I have no idea why the season hasn't been released yet I'm just speculating like everyone else.

Yeah, I understand. I just don’t think Markus won’t be considered an employee of the school. But yeah you’re just speculating, sorry if I came off harsh. It’s not really directed at you specifically; I’ve just seen so many people who are so determined to hate this storyline and are looking for any excuse to hate Markus. I also think with the way Linda greeted him as he walked in the house that she doesn’t have a problem with him being friends with Sara.

Ultimately at this point no speculation can be considered wrong because we have no idea what is gonna happen. Who knows, maybe Simon will fuck the gym teacher 💀

I don't know if anyone's noticed this but in this scene, it's a tiny little detail but Wille's shoes are spotless, as if they are new. But Simon's shoes are speckled with dust, suggesting that he has been using them since a long time:

I don't know why this detail is so close to my heart but the fact that the show subtly nods to how different they are in so many scenes like these, in terms of class, in terms of them as two completely different personalities, both from the inside and their outward persona. But the way their feet intertwine, and the way Wille tugs Simon towards him, suggesting their solidarity, and their love for each other despite all of these evident differences is just......poetic cinema. I love how they manage to say so many things in just a single frame shot.

I think maybe we should forget about that... but he can't hide from those deep feelings - the staring at Simon, the tossing and turning thinking about him, the looking at pictures of him, the feel of his fingers against his own skin, does he wish it was him he was touching instead? Then.. to see a couple kissing and think instantly about Simon, remembering that first kiss they shared, how he felt.. frustrated because he shouldn't be thinking about him, that kiss, having those feelings.

Looking at himself in the mirror... it becomes clear.

You can't forget it.. Yes you want him. Yes you like him. Yes you want to kiss him again. Yes you want to try, despite everything. ❤

Young Royals chronology

I created some chronology variations for YR, there are three major variations that happen from the start dates of classes to the first kiss so I left those three options separate, the other variations are minor and put the options together with the explanation.

[correction] As noted by @youngroyalsnshameless here there is a conversation between Henry and Walter at Wille's first dinner in Hillerska where they say that Wille's initiation party will be the next day, as we know the party takes place on a Friday so the Wille's first day at school could only be a Thursday. I made changes to the timelines.

1st Option

8/17 to 8/20 – Start of the school year in Hillerska

10/1 Thursday – Wille starts school in Hillerska (Simon tells August he's been at school for over a month. Henry and Walter talk over dinner that Wille's initiation party will be the next day)

10/2 Friday morning and afternoon – Fuck Monarchy, conversation over lunch, Simon goes to his father's house.

10/2 Friday night – Initiation party

10/3 Saturday – Wilhelm on the table (hc Simon is at school Saturday to rehearse with the choir)

10/5 Monday – Wille talks to Simon in class

10/6 Tuesday – Bro tap, Simon plays videogames with Rosh and Ayub

10/7 Wednesday morning – Wille and Simon run with the rowing team and then study together

10/7 Wednesday Night – Rosh Football Game

10/8 Thursday morning – August talks to Sara and then Simon in the library.

There are two possibilities for Erik's wake, if we keep the fall holidays at week 44 (from 10/26 to 11/1) like is in the real world, Erik's wake would have to be between 10/19 to 10/23 , (most likely 10/23 a week after his death) because we see the Hillerska students watching the funeral on TV and that means they are not on vacation yet. But if we put the fall holidays in week 45 (from 11/2 to 11/8) this gives a longer window of time for the funeral, which could be any date between 10/23 to 10/30 being most likely the 10/26, ten days after his death.

10/23 or 10/26 – Erik's Funeral

10/26 to 11/1 or 11/2 to 11/8 – Autumn holidays

11/16 Monday – Wille returns to school. (This gives him a whole month that he doesn't see or talk to Simon which is quite a while, but I believe it makes sense within their history and also shows that Erik's memorial was not just because Wille returned, but also because it's been a month since Erik’s death.

11/16 Monday afternoon – Simon goes to his father's house and steals more medicine.

11/17 Tuesday – Simon gives August the drugs to sell

11/23 Monday - Simon receives money from August, Wille tries to ignore Simon while talking to Felice.

11/23 Monday night - Simon goes to his father's house to pay him, Wille goes to meet society at 11:30 pm. (I know a lot of people put Wille's back to school and society party in the same week, but I think even August would wait a few days for Wille to readjust before dragging him to a party with alcohol and drugs and a week fits better in chronology.

11/24 Tuesday from dawn to afeternoon – Wille on the soccer field, Simon rescuing him, first time, golden morning, breakfast, lake ride (this was an emotional day)

11/28 Saturday Night – Wille at Simon's, Fish Scene

Here again we get into another date dilemma, it all depends on whether the person wants Wilmon to have spent more time together or apart. If it's more time together the society meeting and the discussion in the music room took place on 12/07 that means that Wilmon got some peace and happiness for almost two weeks, but it also means that Alex's suspension went well longer, but I believe it still makes sense it was a complex issue involving possible drug trafficking and a wealthy heir with good lawyers. But whoever is on the “misery suits you good” team, the society meeting and discussion in the music room took place sometime between 10/30 to 11/04 and that means Wilmon was separated for over a week.

12/7 or between 10/30 to 11/4 – Society meeting and discussion in the music room.

12/11 Friday – Wille throws Alex and August under the bus.

12/12 Saturday – Society lies to the director

12/13 Sunday – Santa Lucia “I just didn't want to lose you.”

12/14 Monday – The Queen goes to school, Rosh and Ayub visit Simon

12/15 Tuesday – Simon and Wille reunite “We didn't do anything wrong.” “No, we didn’t”

12/19 Saturday – Wille denies the video

12/21 Monday - Simon breaks up with Wille "I don't want to be anyone's secret", Felice finds out who made the video, Wille confronts August and discovers the Queen's betrayal.

12/22 Tuesday – “I love you” “I hope you have a nice Christmas”

2st Option

8/17 to 8/20 – Start of the school year in Hillerska

9/24 Thursday – Wille starts school in Hillerska (Simon tells August he's been at school for over a month. Henry and Walter talk over dinner that Wille's initiation party will be the next day)

From here onwards, the dates are the same as in the 1st option.

I'm sure there are several holes in this chronology or I forgot something, it's also good to remember that YR is a work of fiction and therefore has creative freedom. Also, English is not my first language, so sorry for the mistakes, I can't remember the last time I wrote more than two lines in English.
