I know you've mentioned bi aro Reggie before, so do you have any headcanons about what it would be like for him when (and after) he finds out he's aro?

YES. I HAVE SO MANY THANK YOU FOR ASKING AAAA!!!

Before he realized he was aro and found out that was a thing he could possibly be, he thought that he had crushes on all of his friends

They were all super pretty so Reggie was like????? This is what a crush feels like right???? Because he doesn't have anything to compare it to

So he gave heartfelt love confessions to every single member of sunset curve but none of them were romantically-coded (like instead of "I'm in love with you" and "I want to date you" it was "I love you you're one of my favorite people my greatest friends") so it never went in like a dating direction

He was (and still is) super flirt-y with everyone but not in a way where he has fun messing with peoplel and likes leading them on but in a way that that's kinda just always been how he acts and if he sees a pretty person he's gonna make sure they know how attractive he thinks they are!!

Post-death and getting into the phantoms slowly becoming almost more alive and being seen by more people Kayla and Reggie become very close and Reggie thinks she's very pretty (bc she is) and since hey he thinks she's pretty that obviously means he has a crush on her so he tries to kind of go past his normal flirt-y self and is straight-forward in asking her out after they've had this kinda thing going on where they kiss sometimes (bc kissing!!! fun!! And he likes that with her so that also adds to the fact that he thinks he has a crush) But she tells him no that she doesn't want to date him, she tells him that she's aromantic and she really likes him as a friend and has liked kissing him as friends every once in a while but she's just not into him like that and Reggie is just like. What.

So she explains what aro means and Reggie has a bit of a small crisis because there's no way that he's been different from everyone else his entire life and never even noticed

But after talking to Kayla some more he comes to terms with it and fully excepts the label

He has the typical aroallo experience of thinking that he's aroace for the longest time before he realizes that that's not the only option, that he can be aromantic and bisexual

It's only when he figures out that he's aromantic and bi that he tells everyone else, and ofc they are all accepting of him and his identity

After finding out that he's aro and bi, he's still flirt-y, still kisses girls and guys, but he's just more sure of himself and isn't worried that he's missing out on anything
