Does anyone else find that they don't relate to anyone else who has the same diagnosis as you? Like I have Bipolar2 but when I read posts and chats of other people with it, it basically seems like we're talking about two different things. Like yes I'm impulsive and my mood jumps all over the place but I'm not as unreasonable as some of these people. Like I read that this girl trashed her boyfriends things because she was in a mixed episode and he was late coming home? Or people having slight disagreements and suddenly they act like the world is over and no one loves them? Like I get mental health is hard to deal with but like realize that people have lives outside of you and most of the time of they're late or not responding right away is because they're busy and have their own lives. Also it's natural to disagree with people and some of y'all need to grow up and realize that people will not cater to you

If you’re doing Veganuary, that’s great, I’m sure veganism is good for you and the world etc, but keep in mind that a lot of people with eating disorders are triggered by food restrictions thus it isn’t an option for them. So don’t get all preachy about it. "It’s not Veganuary’s fault that you have a mental health issue!” you may shout at me. And you’d be correct. Equally, the tide of plant-based #influencers repeating the word ‘grains’ over and over and over didn’t make me anorexic. But when you’re desperately trying to fight a demon in your brain that clutches at every reason NOT to eat something, they certainly don’t help. It is of course wonderful that the nation’s excessive meat consumption, rallied against by many for so long, has finally come to mainstream attention. Veganism, for an ever growing number of people, is the right choice; taking a little extra time to consider food choices and meal preparation leaves their relationship with food untouched. Yet for more of us than most people notice, even a mere flirtation with veganism could be problematic. So go ahead and cut cheese and meat of your dietary, good for you but please dont bombard us and make us feel guilty with your new “healthy” diet.

Apologies for the lack of posts over the past 2 weeks or so but as you can see after over 3 years of avoiding the fucker it FINALLY caught up with me and Charles 😭 😷 🦠 Now thankfully slowly starting to get back to normal and back on track again after pretty much being hit for 6 and in bed all the time. That being said it has given me some time to reflect on a few things and spend some time away from here and social media in general. I don't understand

I never knew that there are people who can't imagine things... he finds books boring, thinks there's no such thing as discrimination and hate crimes, thinks that all men are more than a little gay and that if they vehemently deny that they're gay, he could turn them.

I can't stand having conversations with him and he sits next to me for 8hrs a day, 5 days a week.

i’m all for getting thinner and I agree that I may look better if I’m thinner and literally everyone in my life is telling me to stop being so fat but at the same time all these thoughts in my head about what i should look like comes from society 

and 

honestly 

fuck society for constantly pressuring me to try to look good for everyone else whilst being uncomfortable 

fuck society for controlling whether I’d like an extra donut an extra sandwich or an extra large coke 

and fuck society for telling me whether it’s appropriate to not wear make up the next morning bc im too tired from working but i have to suffer with people telling me i look terrible

we’re teaching the future generation that nobody likes you unless you fit into these specific standards and for making us think that other people’s opinions matter more than our own
