‘One Blade’ to rule them all*

Over the years I have tried to find ‘do it all’ products, products that in a pinch can do everything you need for that particular make-up, hair or prosthetic. The aim being to keep a neat and concise kit that suits every scenario, whether that be on a film set, a TV studio, back stage theatre or on location. In particular finding an electric razor that can take stubble away for period accurate looks or trim full beards for modern trends hasn't been easy but I think finally I have found one. The ‘Phillips One Blade’ can take facial fuzz away completely or can be used at 14 different lengths. Perfect for continuity facial hair trims as you can set your guard at the same length every time. What is even better is if you have an actor that is used to wet shaving they can wet shave with or without shaving gel with this super shaver. It is slim, light, rechargeable and comes with a cute little stand to keep it clean and safe on your station. A little on the pricier side it is worth it and I am only just after 8 months replacing the head. Im sure if the Hobbits of ‘Lord of the Rings’ needed their hairy feet trimming it would indeed be the Phillips One Blade that would rule them all.

Rapunzel let down your hair...*

Visiting new cities opens your eyes not only to the culture of the place but to new exciting Make-up & Hair brands.
