Headcanon that Roshan only ever went easy on one person during Mario Kart - Tremaine. And this was before they started dating because Roshan figured Tremaine wouldn't want to date him if he was ruthless to him during the game. After they started dating (both times), Roshan treated Tremaine like every other player because he already won him over.

Tremaine: You were nicer to me in Mario Kart before we started dating.

Roshan: Yeah, because I wanted you to date me. Figured you wouldn't be interested if I kept blue-shelling you.

Tremaine: ... That is actually kinda sweet

How do you think Asher and Hammie would have reacted to Roshan and Tremaine getting together (and breaking up. and then getting back together)

Hi! thanks for asking! That's a good question!

Getting together the first time:

I think it would be obvious that Roshan and Tremaine like each other so Asher and Hammie would already know about their feelings. I think they would even bet on when Romaine gets together lol. I think Hammie would notice the crushes first and may even try to convince them to tell each other, but Asher notices when Roshan keeps protecting Tremaine during their Warcross matches and pulls him aside one day and says "I know that you like Tremaine, but you still have to Shield the rest of us."

My hc is that Tremaine fell first but Roshan fell harder, so I think Hammie would clock that Tremaine has a crush on Roshan pretty early on. Asher would probably notice it too but doesn't think anything of it since lots of people probably have crushes on Roshan (I mean he fought the Demon Brigade over Roshan at the Wardraft that year so he knows that a lot of people want him lol). Then when Roshan falls for Tremaine, and they do get together, Asher tells them to not let their relationship mess with the team dynamic during matches, but other than that Asher and Hammie are like "FINALLY" and are very happy for them.

The breakup:

Since they all knew Tremaine was struggling with drugs, I think Asher and Hammie thought that Roshan would go above and beyond to help Tremaine because anyone could see how in love he was. So they are very surprised when Romaine breaks up and Tremaine leaves the team and joins the Demon Brigade.

Roshan is devastated but I don't think he tells Asher and Hammie that Tremaine 'cheated' on him since neither of them ever mentioned it and he didn't mention it to Emika, either. He probably keeps to himself for a while and Asher and Hammie feel terrible for him and they also start to hate Tremaine for breaking Roshan's heart (because neither of them ever thought that Romaine would hurt the other).

Overall, I think they would be very shocked and would try to pick up the pieces the best they can.

Getting back together:

Asher and Hammie wouldn't be surprised. I mean I think everyone could see all the tension between Roshan and Tremaine during every scene. Plus given how Roshan was panicking in the waiting room to the point where he said he and Tremaine were a couple? They would just be waiting for the inevitable. They would def be wary since Tremaine hurt Roshan at first, but if they find out the real reason why Tremaine broke up with Roshan (and learn how Roshan's father never approved of Tremaine and assumed the worst of him) then I don't think they would worry too much. If Roshan is happy, then they'll be happy for him.

Also Tremaine helped them and almost died in the process so I imagine it would be hard for anyone to stay angry at him after that.

(But Asher and Hammie still give Tremaine the shovel talk. Likewise, the Demon Brigade gives Roshan the shovel talk. Emika just tells Roshan to keep his family away from Tremaine so he doesn't have to hear any disapproval from the Ahmadi family).
