i was thinking about doing a load of designs of fashion across the planes because i feel like i haven't done any costume designs that aren't for cosplay in a while and exploring how fashion differs across such a vast continent would be fun, but I immediately got distracted thinking about the hypothetical textile industries within the planes, which led me to thinking about Sariel in a handmade gold lace dress with symbols representing the Mother and Father, the Mindaris family, and the Eldrin empire and what an incredible show of wealth, power, and style that would be.

Happy Blorbo Blursday!
Your characters go to another country on vacation together, what kind of tourists are they? Who wants to see all of the tourist attractions? Who spends too much on souvenirs? Who tries to learn any of the language before they go? Who tries to make sure everybody arrives at the airport 8 hours early?
Just tell me what they would all be like on a trip together!
Sorry I'm a couple of days late!! My brain tried to escape my skull! Thank you for your question!! I will answer for each of the stories I'm writing <3
THE IMPERIUM CHRONICLES
Abriella would be the "mother hen" making sure that no one got left behind, everyone was staying hydrated, and that everyone was having fun. Cruz would be "dad" and "bodyguard" keeping an eye out for anyone causing trouble. Phaedra and Dez would be the ones wanting to go, do, and see everything. No matter how small or corny the attraction, they're going to want to go. Anna or Leandre would spend the most on souvenirs because they don't buy the cheap ones. If they're going to buy something, they want quality. Anna has an Eiffel Tower that is diamond encrusted. He has a block handmade of Japanese calligraphy ink that cost over $300. Thinius is going to be the one that is going to be into the food and wants to go to all the places the locals frequent. No chain places for him. Delilah will be the one that wants a schedule and to make sure that they stick to it. Talon will be the one that keeps Delilah from having anxiety when they don't stick to the schedule. LOL Olly will be the one that arranges the transportation and makes sure that they have enough room for everyone. BOMBS, BODYGUARDS, & BROKEN ARTIFACTS
Nic would be tour guide who found everything out about the location they were going and presented all the options for things to do, and briefed everyone on all all the security concerns. Mel would be the one that wants to go to all the cultural sites like museums, theaters, zoos, or aquariums. Gabe would want to go to the sporting events. Cade would want to hang out by the pool or at the beach. Alexander would be the one getting everyone to wherever they're going absurdly early. Cam would be the one that would be on Google Maps constantly figuring out the closest place to eat. Dez would be the one checking out the bars and nightlife.
BENDING THE LAW
Colin would be the one that planned everything, and Colt would be the one to question everything. Challenging it. Abby would be the peacemaker and also the one that buys every cute souvenir that they come across. Karsten and Keegan would team up to totally throw Colin's plans out the window and figure out a way to go and do all the fun things in the area. Kal would try to avoid being drug along so he could just relax on the beach. Decker is going to find all the bars. Serena and Spencer are going to look into cooking classes to keep up on their knife skills. Aoife will distract Colin from arguing with Colt so Dimitri doesn't kill them all as he gets them to the airport absurdly early knowing that otherwise they'll miss their flight like last time.
Thank you for this ask! It was fun <3

"Here, you can have the rest."
Prompt #1: Voracious
@sea-wolf-coast-to-coast
( @kukurubean gave her o-kay for me to answer her ask for the prompt! )
----
Rothe had taken a few bites and noticed that something was wrong. Aoife wasn’t poking around his shoulders with her own fork, wasn’t trying to distract him with phantom mandragoras-right-there-look-in-that-direction, she wasn’t making any move for his food at all.
It was unnerving, and he had to re-align the universe.
“You haven’t had dinner, right? Here, you can have the rest,” he said cheerfully as he slid the plate of salted cod puffs over to her.
She had the side of her chin resting in her palm and didn’t move for the plate. It took her a second to even answer. “I’m good, I think.”
...good? A plate full of his handmade salted cod puffs, still hot and fresh, and she was waving them away?
The shock tilted his concern to dip slightly into insulted. Obviously he’d have to motivate her, he thought as he took a dramatic bite into a puff.
“Are ye suuuure? S’really good!”
She raised an eyebrow at him and nodded vacantly. This was war.
Rothe ate the other half and shoved another whole puff in after it, this time not even bothering to swallow before taunting. “Reaw saldy an’... coddy!”
Now there was an expression on her face! She used the palm of her hand to try and muffle a laugh as he pounded his chest while swallowing. He allowed himself to be egged on by that, swallowing salted cod puffs two at a time with only a pause for some water, until--
“Well, I can’t eat ‘em now that you’ve downed the whole lot, aye?” Aoife laughed, patting Rothe’s arm as he held his stomach in an obvious show of regret.

Queen's University Belfast presents ten student architecture projects
A centre designed to help relax cancer patients and a "Carnival of Colours" feature in Dezeen's latest school show by students at Queen's University Belfast.
Also included is a performing arts theatre referencing Japanese architecture and a community centre featuring a community kitchen, market hall and allotments.
Queen's University Belfast
School: Queen's University Belfast Courses: BSc Architecture and MArch Tutors: Dr Niek Turner, Clare Mulholland, Prof Michael McGarry, Catherine Blaney, Rachel Delargy, Tarla MacGabhann, Jane Larmour, Dr Gul Kacmaz Erk, Patrick Wheeler, Jennifer Harper, Dr Nuala Flood, Laurence Lord, Guido Vericat, Aoife McGee, Dr Rachel O’Grady, Fearghal Murray, David Magennis, Prof Greg Keeffe, Dr Seán Cullen, Prof Michael McGarry, Ben Weir, Prof Tom Jefferies, Dr Laura Coucill, Dr Amber Roberts, Jane Larmour, Keith McAllister, Catherine Blaney and Dr Colm Moore.
School statement:
"The BSc (Hons) Architecture programme is a dynamic learning environment that encourages students to develop professionalism, critical thinking and creativity by acquiring architectural design, research, analysis, and communication skills.
"The programme pivots around the design studio and is articulated around three interconnected and overlapping areas: architectural design and communication; history and theory of architecture and; technology and environment.
"For stage two and three students, joint studio projects, live projects for stage one and MArch students, shared skills development events and collaborative learning projects with planning and engineering students all enrich the curriculum. A well-established architecture society (ArchSoc) and the Queen's Climate Action Network (QCAN) provide further social, educational and cultural lectures and events.
"At its core, our M.Arch programme's ambition is for each student to understand what motivates them as architects in the expanding field that is the contemporary practice of architecture.
"Across the two years, each student builds a personal portfolio culminating in a thesis project which inquisitively seeks to define a position – to establish the ground from which they can develop their future practice. In doing so, we hope that our graduates enter the profession with clear values, ambition and confidence in both architecture itself and their ability as a designer to positively contribute to the shaping of our society."
Growing Together by Kayla Enos
"This project aims to enhance the lives of the community by providing inclusive and accessible opportunities for social interaction. The scheme provides a community kitchen and dining room, a market hall and a series of allotments.
"It responds to research which associates proximity to green space with improved mental wellbeing and proposes gardening as a measure to improve wellness. The site is located along the River Lagan, in an area at high risk of flooding. Designing a flood strategy for the site became a priority for this scheme and a new flood wall for the area which also forms a footpath."
Student: Kayla Enos Course: BSc Architecture Tutors: Dr Niek Turner, Clare Mulholland, Professor Michael McGarry and Catherine Blaney
The Healing Gardens by Rachel Murphy
"A calm and relaxing environment for cancer patients and survivors, the project provides therapy and counselling rooms together with residential spaces. Connections between interior spaces and garden and courtyard views have been prioritised in the planning of the building, and a library and living space connect directly to the outdoors through a large window with built-in seats.
"Armagh is known for apple orchards, and existing trees on the site have been preserved. The building structure uses timber construction. Cladding materials include handmade clay bricks which match the colour palette of the surrounding area."
Student: Rachel Murphy Course: BSc Architecture Tutors: Rachel Delargy, Tarla MacGabhann and Jane Larmour
Performing Arts School by Arjun Bharj
"Using sustainable means of construction, a traditional Japanese style is imitated to attain a certain degree of visual softness and theatricality. The design provides a journey around shoji screens that aim to encourage exploration whilst maintaining the quietness of the proposal's thematic qualities.
"The design proposal considers the diversity of the Holyland's performing arts students. The spaces are designed to support contemporary pedagogy, diversity and equality."
Student: Arjun Bharj Course: BSc Architecture Tutors: Dr Gul Kacmaz Erk, Patrick Wheeler, Jennifer Harper
Expanding Networks – Reimagining Architectural Education by Grace Carney
"The proposal challenges the current paradigm of architectural education and proposes spaces which enable the school to act as a network between practitioners, students and citizens.
"A grid provides flexible structures, and breakout spaces facilitate collaboration. The ground floor is designed as a covered street to accommodate exhibitions and markets. Sited along the Lagan, but building proposes new pedestrian networks to connect the school with other buildings across the city."
Student: Grace Carney Course: BSc Architecture Tutors: Dr Gul Kacmaz Erk, Patrick Wheeler and Jennifer Harper
The Carnival of Colours by Ellen McKeag
"The Carnival of Colours is a three-day festival and circus based in Derry / Londonderry around midsummer. This scheme proposes temporary pavilions which provide performance spaces for the festival and a permanent headquarters for the festival organisation.
"The headquarters are made up of timber framework with smaller, integrated modules, which allow the building to expand and contract according to spatial demand. Construction is designed to be zero-waste – all components are demountable and fully recyclable."
Student: Ellen McKeag Course: BSc Architecture Tutors: Civic Stage
Artificial Super-organism Eco-Town by Stavroula Perdikaki
"Artificial Super-organism Eco-Town (ASET) explores alternative economies based on an analysis of the Dublin housing crisis and the theoretical perspective of anarchism.
"Examining homelessness and dereliction about the policies which created them, the project imagines a society in which ownership, tax and surveillance do not exist and proposes a new form of urbanism to support this.
"ASET relies on social impact and low-profit investment. It goes against governmental decisions and mainstream financial systems to create a resilient economy and housing system. Renewable energy is the currency of this new society, powering."
Student: Stavroula Perdikaki Course: MArch Tutors: Professor Greg Keeffe and Dr Seán Cullen
Scaffold by Juliette Moore
"Located in Railwayview Street, Bangor, the project takes the form of four detached dwellings, a local shop, café and community path which connects the street to Bangor train station. The project is an investigation of a design methodology that examines how linework in drawing can be manipulated to inform and justify design decisions.
"Tracing physical plotlines and analysing the geometries of the context with the predicted paths of movement through the site created patterns that guided internal spatial arrangements, structure and materiality. Lines of notation and sound were used to augment the project beyond technical configurations."
Student: Juliette Moore Course: MArch Tutors: Professor Michael McGarry, Ben Weir
The Renewable Energy Landscape of Mourne by Louis Shing
"This project aims to reconcile renewable energy and heritage landscapes. The possibility of distributing renewable energy in the Mourne Mountains is evaluated in terms of productive capacity and scenic value. The proposal unites vernacular and traditional building techniques with hi-tech renewable energy systems by integrating PV panels in traditional forms of drystone walling.
"The Automated Recycling Centre provides maintenance and recycling facilities which minimize the visual impact on the landscape. This introduces a new vernacular typology into the landscape and internal space is divided between automated maintenance and visitor experience capturing the view of Slieve Binnian."
Student: Louis Shing Course: MArch Tutors: Professor Tom Jefferies, Dr Laura Coucill and Dr Amber Roberts
Kinbane: Curating the Historic Landscape by William Brady, In Praise of Adaptation
"This proposal narrates the historic landscape and the story of Kinbane to celebrate the area's unique cultural importance. It retraces the pilgrimage of past generations to lead to the salmon fisheries under the shadow of the cliffside.
"A reroofed cottage offers shelter and accommodation from the elements. Kinbane Castle hangs precariously over the rocks below, accessed by a new staircase and path. Beyond the castle, in the north bailey, new interventions bridge the enclosure to the rising headland."
Student: William Brady Course: MArch Tutors: Jane Larmour and Keith McAllister
From Sienna to Dublin: An investigation in the picturesque by Katie Jackson
"This thesis project is a hotel for the city in Dublin that is grounded in the picturesque sensibility, informed by 'A Month in Siena by Hisham Matar'. Capel Street is a complex site with a deep plan in a dense landscape. It was a challenge to the conventions of architecture.
"Light is carved through the building using light wells and light objects. The objects are aedicules, mini architectures held within the hotel. The thesis is about making architecture that can exist at all scales. It explores how to design a space like a painter would compose a painting with a picturesque sensibility."
Student: Katie Jackson Course: MArch Tutors: Catherine Blaney and Dr Colm Moore

It’s a Day 29 of #decvinylworship by @simonxsludge: Discovery Of The Year. Aoife Nessa Frances - Land Of No Junction (Basin Rock, 2020) At #9 of my Top 25, this is the highest ranking album by an artist who was completely unfamiliar to me when the year began. My eagle eye spotted the name Cian Nugent (he produced) in a write-up about it and I was immediately intrigued as I loved his album Night Fiction. My instincts were correct, as I quickly fell into a swoon - which has yet to abate - over her misty, ethereal brand of psych-folk. I also like the textured, slightly handmade feel of the package and appreciate the rock-solid pressing, which just sounds glorious. If you haven’t listened yet, you still have a day or two to make YOUR discovery of the year! #decembervinylchallenge #dvw2020 #vinylcommunity #vinyl #vinylcollection #vinylgram #vinylgeek #vinylcollector @aoifenessafrances @basinrock #indiefolk #psychfolk #folkrock @ciannugent 📷 @karencapucilli https://www.instagram.com/p/CJZxIt7gXdb/?igshid=5cotf4j6f3zk

can you give me some fun facts and stuff about Vivianne and Aoife they are my fave magimons. Like basically headcanons (but since you're the creator they're actually canon.) thanks!!! ❤
OH MAN I’m touched, Aoife has been there all along and she’s such a powerful character. THANK YOU i shall deliver you the good FACTS
General
Aoife and ViGi (Vivianne-Giselle) are in a feud. ViGi hates Aoife to guts; while Aoife literally doesn’t care or know who ViGi is.
ViGi once wanted to insult Aoife but accidentally asked her out on a date. This repulsed ViGi so hard she decided to hate Aoife even more
Aoife and ViGi are both Linette’s best friends. Linette is trying to bring them together. ViGi hisses like a cat whenever that happens. Aoife wants to give it a chance but VIGI IS A PISSBABY
ViGi
ViGi speaks in an obnoxiously old french vernacular. No one understands her unless she gets upset and speaks in “normal” french.
ViGi lives in a very huge 17th century french castle, inherited from her mother. She takes care of it a lot. She’s strong.
ViGi hates all the pain and horror that come with the horns popping out of her skull and neck when transforming. But she LOVES them because they look sick.
ViGi tried to name her rapier. She had 30 good ideas until she decided to give up.
ViGi uses an Iron Maiden in her fighting. We all know that. But i want to stress it out. She NEVER uses it right. NEVER. SHE JUST. FUCKS UP CONSTANTLY. THROW IT AROUND. THATS NOT HOW YOU USE IT YOU IDIOT
ViGi is gullible, i’m sure you can tell that madwoman that boneless pizza is a thing and she’ll buy into it.
Aoife
Aoife lives in Oregon with Naomi. Naomi’s family (and parents) are apparently okay with the fact that a strange Irish girl with a constant scarf stays in their household.
Naomi’s mother always tries to get the father to question everything Aoife does. The Father complies and always gets ready to scold Aoife about paying a rent but eventually graces Aoife with mercy because she proposed to pay him with a cool handmade sword
Aoife’s ponytail is an important core of her character if you untie it, you unlock two things: a fist in the face, and beautiful midlength blonde hair. Only Aoife decides when her ponytail should be untied.
Aoife loves making fancy outfits for her friends. She’s a talented sewstress
Aoife feels the need to name everything she possesses. Her gauntlet-shield is named “Fearg”, her sword is named “Epilogue”, her horse “Harmaggedon”. She also has a natural, dullahan-like tendency to give a nickname to every people she meets.
Dullahans always give humans a nickname in order to avoid killing them by pronouncing their names. Aoife doesn’t have this power, but since she has lived many years alongside the dullahans, she picked the habit up.
Aoife has a fake ID so she can go on and drink alcohol. Aoife loves alcohol.
Aoife’s top 3 pick-me-up: 1. Cider 2. Blonde Beer 3. Red Wine
Aoife is banned from all the pubs of England after they figured out that her ID was a fake one all along.
Aoife possesses a small vineyard somewhere in France. Only her is allowed to drink her own wine.
Aoife, like most of Irish MagiMonsters, is named after Irish Mythology. In Ulster Cycle, Aife is a scottish warrior woman, the sister of mighty warrior Scathach, the Teacher of Cu Chulainn.
Aoife’s trainer and teacher was Scathach, the Kelpie MagiMonster (an OC of Mine, not the actual mythological Scathach). Scathach is Aoife’s godmother.
