i’ve been crocheting this vest for the whole month 💀 very happy with the result

If running errands on Halloween, you bet I will dress up! I am a human who, who will not confirm or deny, have a secret rendezvous with a vampire. That is all I will say in the matter. 😉

So that Halloween vest I was working on? This is the final result, & it looked awesome. I’m making more vests like this from now on, in different fabrics that is.

I played FFIX’s The Castle Frozen In Time on repeat to get into the mood & now I have pandemonium on the brain. 😝

I have made an effort to wear something that I have handknit every day this week. And today, I'm so happy to be finally wearing my Academic Vest for the first time. Aptly named now, I suppose. Couldn't even wait for my hair to dry I was so excited.

THIS. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN BREAKING MY HANDS OVER FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. most of this was done in the past 72 hours and OH MY GOD you will not believe how many times i stabbed myself while hand sewing this

if yall have questions about HOW TF i recreated this ask box is open but im gonna be honest my guy i dont remember half of this process

Took the time while making this patch to document the process so I can make them more efficiently in the future instead of trying to remember what I did last time 😅

Idk why but I love going back over what I've written/drawn before and reassessing with new my conclusions :)

it’s finished!! Now that it’s all tidied up, I’m really enjoying it. It’s made from a vintage 1940s pattern in trans colors. I saw the yarn at the store and had to have it! I think it’s a bit long on me though, either that or my shirt should be untucked, or maybe I need high waisted pants. And like I said in my last post I should have knit it flat instead of in the round. But other than that the fit is really nice and it was so easy to knit.
