You have some nerve writing that amazing Klaus fanfiction [which btw called A DARK TWISTED FANSTASY ✨️] had me all invested and shit.

And now that I'm done reading it, I feel empty... and I have to find more Klaus fanfiction

That's a big ass struggle all on its own, having to first even find a good Klaus fanfiction. Every time I look up TVD, I keep seeing that grinch grinning bourbon drinking incel whiney bitch having bastard EVERYWHERE and if not him then Kai (and don't even get me fucking started with him 🙄)

And having a POC MC is ultra rare... it's either S*lena G*mez, H*lland R*den, Barbara Palvin or ironically another bubbly blonde woman (that they can slide into all the vomit inducing Kl*roline scenes) always being front and center. So when I not only saw a good written Klaus fanfiction but with a POC MC, I wanted to jump for fucking joy.

And ANOTHER THING writing POC with culture... DON'T BE A JULIE WITH YOUR WRITING PPL!!! (obvious example to what I mean by that: BONNIE BENNETT).

In the beginning, there was him. Long before Hellsing Organisation, long before Iscariots and Millennium, there was him. The king of vampires. It was a thrill for the first century or so, but the thrill wore off soon enough, until the only thing that could fill the empty space where the soul should be was mindless bloodshed. In a way, he wanted Van Hellsing to be the one to kill him, to put an end to his misery. But the man was not so merciful. He left him alive. So it was just an endless stream of bloodshed and misery he left in his wake, with no end in sight. A pitiful existence, but fitting for a monster like him.

And then there was Florence.

Former Iscariot, Florence was an interesting creature. Full of life, she was everything he was not. She liked to call herself a witch, and her nature powers made her a deadly foe. She was beautiful as much as she was dangerous. Rose full of thorns. And somehow, she considered him a friend.

Friend. What a strange word.

She knew who he was and what he was capable of, yet still reached out her hand. Foolish, maybe, but that was just who she was. She shone as bright as a star. And he was grateful that some of that shine fell on him too. He wanted her to shine for many years more. After all, is that not what friends do? Wish each other well?

"Al? Are you awake?"

And here she was, fearlessly going down the stairs into beast's lair. Who else but her?

"You know I'm always awake for you, my dear human. What brings you here at this hour of night?"

"Nothing much. Just couldn't sleep. That's all."

Alucard hummed.

"If that's all, then perhaps you might join me on one of my midnight walks? Night is so beautiful after all."

"Alright. But we're not killing anything at this hour. Unless absolutely necessary."

"Wouldn't dream of it. Who do you take me for, my dear Florence?"
