Not sleeping in a hobbit house tonight...but I’m still dreaming of how magical our little adventure was yesterday!✨ - “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us” (Gandalf) - I couldn’t get this quote out of my head after watching the LOTR movies last night... cause I’m so. stinkin’. grateful. for that TIME I’ve been given here on this earth.🌏 And I’m going to KEEP making the most of every single bit of it, right alongside my partner in crime. Making waves & doing all of life differently- seems to be our life’s anthem. And I wouldn’t want it any other way. - He’s always been the biggest supporter of my wildest dreams, (which I honestly only feel safe enough to talk about bc it’s HIM that brings the child out in me(to come up with all the craziness in the first place😂) ...So here’s to starting year 3 of creating life on OUR own terms. The sun hasn’t shown up very consistently while we’ve been here- and as most of you know, I’m a sunshine ADDICT. So when it finally came out today....I instantly had to hop away from the computer to play a little bit on my hands outside🤸🏼‍♂️before it found a cloud to hide behind again.🌞 - And thats just like life isn’t it?? - We’ve got to stop waiting to get all our “ducks in a row” before we let ourselves truly LIVE life. Before we GO for it. There’s this misconception that a PERFECT time is out there... But what if that “perfect time” is taking you away from the opportunity of RIGHT now. What if the moment you’ve been waiting for, is passing as we speak because the power comes from starting NOW not “someday” - I’m not gonna miss out when the sunshine comes out to play. (It’s happened too many times before) And I’ve learned that we really never know when it’s going away... Takin’ a break from emails+messages to get upside down today🤸🏼‍♀️ And Literally, I’ve NEVER felt so strong in my inversions than I have over the past few days. Caught myself hand-standing last night in the middle of the RV & not only holding it-but finally being able to make leg placement adjustments withOUT crashing to the ground😂🙌🏽 (I know you yogis get my excitement🎉) - A.K.A. One of my biggest December goals is to practice yoga at least 5 minutes everyday this month. Maybe it’s sitting in child’s pose the whole time, focusing on my breath, or simply messing around with handstands while it’s snowing for the first time here in VA❄️ - But I feel like I’ve been less consistent with my practice since we left Nashville, and I’m ready to come back now. My body’s craving it. My mind NEEDS the space. And more than anything, I’m DETERMINED to get these handstands down like it’s my JOB. (Especially because I’ve gained SO much muscle in the past few months & want to USE THOSE for this!)😂🙌🏽 - What I’ve been learning lately: 1. banana back is easier but doesn’t last long...so go for good alignment, focus on one line from your hands to your hips. 2. the faster you can get ONE leg above your hips and create that line, the less energy you’ll waste using while trying to kick up...& more you can use to MAINTAIN staying up. 3.
