Looking through my omnibus copy of The Different Story and Hanokage saying in their end notes that they made a decision to not have the same kind of heartbreak the original PMMM series had is a definite mood.

I’ve tried doing the same thing in my fanfics… I figured, realistically, it can’t be sad all the time.

I know im not the only slag whos complained and redesigned Leila Ibuki but I think we all can collectively agree this design could have been SO GREAT had they just given her some fucking pants

Usually I dislike it when people redesign characters for showing a bit of skin, I think its misogynistic at worse to assune a character is being sexualized all over having a midriff. Like Iroha's design isnt that awful get over yourselves

But

Why is she walking around in her bare fucking undies

Like that is just completely unnecessary

I thought itd be a bit tedious just to draw the character only to give her pants so I just redid her entirely.

Of course there's prob better redesigns out there, I'm not gonna say my design is like the best all and shit like that, though let's be real, any design that doesn't have Leila waking around in her undies is 100% better

If I can only change one I'm giving Leila the pants she deserves

It's just a crime because the rest of of her outfit is so good but then bam - exposed underwear. Kyubey come back and finish her outfit!
