Summary: The first time he says to you the L word.

His olive-green eyes always expressed what his mouth couldn't let go. Most of the time, especially when he wants to tell you something, he gets so nervous that he always choose to just look at you for minutes and minutes, trying to explain to you what he wants or wants you to know with his light attractive irises.

This was not easy for you, but it was not impossible either. You couldn't pressure him to talk to you about certain things, and you couldn't force him to open up verbally with you. Therefore, you did everything possible to understand his looks, his facial expressions, his touches.

It was as if you had learned another language, almost.

Nor was it as if he did not speak; He just had a hard time saying “You look so beautiful, Y/N”, “I want to cuddle, Y/N, come here”, “Kiss me, Y/N”.

But especially it was hard for him to say “I love you”.

And he loved you too much. He loves you, too much. There are no words to express how much he loves you, how much he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, how much he longs to build a future with you.

At the beginning of your relationship, the fact that he didn't say the L-word after you did, hurt you. He noticed it and felt guilty. How can he not love you? How can he not adore the color of your eyes, the smell that your body spread off when you hugged him, your lips against his skin? How could he not want to hear your voice, your name, your giggle?

How can he not love you?

His head kept wondering the same thing - listing all the reasons why he was in love with you - as he watched you cook something in his kitchen. He got up from the couch and walked carefully -not wanting to make too much noise-, loving how focused you were on cooking. A warm smile played across his lips when you blinked at him.

“Haji? You good?” your voice was so melodic, but it was nothing compared to how sounds when you just wake up. You were adorable, you were perfect, you were the love of his life. No, not only that, you were everything to him, his world, his life, his other half. You were that then, and you are that now “Are you hungry?”

His mind travels through time. He remembers the first time you spoke to him, the time you confessed your feelings for him, the kisses before the matches, the kisses after the matches, the feeling of your fingers stroking his hair as he cried on your chest because of his insecurities, how you always had the exact words and actions to make him feel better.

He remembers why you here, why both of you are together.

Why you both deserve to continue together.

And why you have to stick together until some supernatural force or death separates you from him.

“I love you”

Time stands still after those three words. He admires how your eyes open and closes slowly, amazed by his words; and he loves you very much, he loves how your lips part and your eyes moisten after he told you what you had expected to hear for years, loves the fact that you cover half of your face with your delicate hands, loves the smell of food you were preparing, loves how good the house feels with your presence.

“I love you with all my heart, baby”

Those words are stronger, now there are tears of fill with excitement and joy covering your cheeks; he loves how you stop cooking and how you walk towards him, loves how you look at him into his eyes, how your lashes look so shiny, how his hands start to clean your tears, how you smile so brightly at him.

“It took you long enough to say it, didn't it?” You want to sound challenging, but you end up sobbing into his chest, holding him tight. Iwaizumi hugs your trembling body, kissing the crown of your head with a smile. He loves how beautiful you look in his arms, loves how good the warmth of your body feels against his, loves to be the man who has the happiness, and the luck to be by your side.

“Yes” he confesses, taking your face and planting a kiss on your soft, pinky lips “I love you very much”

“I love you, Hajime”

“I love you more, Y/N”

1. describe how you first started writing and when you first posted

i began to write in general since i was around 14 like any other emo kid kdjdjsks and o began to write fics when a friend asked me for one as a birthday present. it was written in a hurry and it’s not my favorite but i really enjoyed doing it. i posted that exact same fic on their birthday

2. which of your characters do you typically resonate most closely with? do you base any characters off of yourself?

it depends the fic i guess. and not really, i think the closest i’ve been to do that is in the rockstar au (coming to the @bottomlouisficfest very soon), i put one or two of my old insecurities in h so he could connect better and wouldn’t be persieved as just an asshole-y dude cause i don’t like that and louis don’t deserve that uwu🌸

3. where do you often find inspiration?

music, movies, tiktoks (DONT JUDGE KDKDKS)

4. has quarantine helped or hindered your writing process?

before the quarantine i had around 3 wips, now i have 8

5. do you listen to music/noise while you write or do you prefer silence?

6. what is your biggest writing pet peeve in your writing or in general?

me repeating “Oh...” over and over again through tall my fics, it shouldn’t be legal

i just leave the fic for a bit, i don’t really like to push myself about this cause i’m just doing it for fun

the easiest is the dialogues, i could write pages and pages of just dialogues in hours and the hardest is the smut dhjdd

it depends, is the antagonist? i ask myself how’d i feel if i were them, like a third party just trying (and usually failing) to get in between

13. what is your favorite and least favorite word?

i like “wet” i just... yeah.... and least favorite i don’t really know tbh

14. what is one thing about your writing that you’re really proud of and one thing you hope to continue working at?

i like that people conect with the characters because i always put a lot of effort in making them realistic (as much as i can), i make them flawled and sometimes even messy but with good hearts and intentions, all of them are (even the antagonists). and my grammar OH MY GOD MY GRAMMAR

15. what work of yours has your favorite ‘verse/world building? how did you come up with it?

hands down the ice prince fic. and funny thing is, i already had my prompt for the fic fest but i just couldn’t stop thinking about one particular prompt about a bratty prince and an alpha who hated omegas and the amount of POSSIBILITIES that had. two days later or so, the mods of the fest gave us the opportunity to pick another prompt if we wanted and the rest is HISTORY

that that’s okay to fuck up, that no matter the circumstances you have to respect your partner and TALK WITH THEM and that a person can be successful, independent and a badass while being soft and a c*mslut

i think “write whatever you like, you’re not being paid for it anyways” is the best and only advise i’ve actually listened to

WOW oKAY his smiles r just so big?? they rnt even contained by his mouth,,, his mouth cannot hold onto them bc they spread across his whole face 2 his nose 2 his cheeks 2 his eyes adhjsahd everything lights up n its like a virus!!! if jackson is smiling u can bet urself that every single other person in that room is smiling too,, also u know those dimples he has?? theyre not dimples,,, i dont know how 2 describe them,, but when he smiles w/o teeth little shadows appear either side of his mouth,, those. not 2 b dramatic but thats where i want 2 b buried when i die <3 he also has the biggest laugh lines which r so characterised n special 2 him that u cld literally cut them out of a picture of him n ppl cld guess it was him from just those shadows !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fourthly his eyebrows. his eyebrows r better than mine adhjksadh im like how,, again??? theyre so unique to him n,, they truly havent changed since debut n i think thats the best thing! <3 u know when hes concentrating super hard n he pulls that face where his eyebrows r pulled right in n he looks super uncomfortable,, ahdjshad some1 print that out 4 me. im hanging it up on my wall fifthly his cheekbones r more chiselled than a pillar, n r more defined than any contour has ever made anyone elses (kim kardashian can go home! truly cancelled),, but despite his cheeks being super defined?? they go super chubby when hes smiles n i think thats the cutest thing since winnie the pooh oh my godahdjhsad sixthly his hair. its honestly the fluffiest thing ive seen! i honestly have a theory that jasckson was a puppy in a previous life n some of these qualities were passed onto him this life,, like his eyes i sent earlier! n now he has the fluffiest hair that u just want 2 ruffle bless ahdjksahd honestly whether its black brown or blonde or up or down or tragic (stop stop it era) his hair always looks amazing n he 4ever remains my hair idol <3 also when he shakes his hair,, i dont know what hes doing when he shakes it but whatever hes trying 2 accomplish, he makes it look like the fanciest hair technique n he looks like the cutest boy while hes doing it <3 and u know when He decides to bless us all and jackson lets his stubble grow and families around the world r fed? also u know when he ties his hair back into a man bun n fashion is redefined?hes a true icon. :( seventhly his arms r the sexiest thing known 2 man. honestly,, the Rock is cancelled every single time jakcson flexes!! every time jackson wears a tank top, body builders r devastated as they realise that they will never reach his level of sexy,, can i just say. jacksons constant willingness 2 show off his arms is the best thing ever,, jackson feeling happy n confident abt his body is the greatest thing any1 cld ever wish for. also i lov how hes always taking his top off 2 show off n even though the members r always calling him out 4 it he still does it,,, king of not giving a fuck n loving himself! <3 eighthly his LEGS!!!!!!! HIS LEGS R HIS LEGACY O H MY OGD i dont think a single person doesnt know abt how excuse the vocab thicc jacksons thighs r. i know theyve gotten a tiny bit skinnier lately which is 1 of the saddest things from 2016,, but honestly,, everytime he shows off his legs n remarks how wonderful n muscley they are.. an angel gets their wings. his calves r better than king henry the 8ths ninethly i wld just like 2 say how cute in general jacksons face is! :) u know when he gets flustered n he covers his face??????? my heart truly grows every single time <3
