Tonight my loves, the Easter Triduum will begin with Maundy Thursday; the Last Supper, the Agony in the Garden, Judas’ Betrayal, Yeshua arrested and taken to the high priests for questioning; and it would all lead to what would happen the next day.

Passover is a time when we reflect on moving from slavery to freedom מֵעַבְדוּת לְחֵרוּת. With so many having their freedom forcibly taken away in unimaginable ways, it feels like since Oct 7 part of our own freedom is missing too.

A Passover tradition I have (my brother started it) we take all the things of the Seder plate, there’s chroset, a piece of gefilte fish, lettuce, horseradish, and parsley under two pieces of matzah. I just didn’t have a hard boiled egg.
