My instacart shopper noticed I added Easter cupcakes to my order, so she texted me "Happy Easter!" in the app and I was like "Happy Easter, Passover, Ramadan, and/or Saturday, depending on what you celebrate!"

so after she dropped it off and was going to her car, she called HAPPY EASTER! and then HAPPY PASSOVER! RAMADAN! and I'm yelling HAPPY EVERYTHING! and she's like HAPPY LIFE!!!

and wow, it really is a happy life sometimes, isn't it? when everyone's kind to each other. 💜

If this Passover feels ironically painful to you, you are not alone.

Passover is a time when we reflect on moving from slavery to freedom מֵעַבְדוּת לְחֵרוּת. With so many having their freedom forcibly taken away in unimaginable ways, it feels like since Oct 7 part of our own freedom is missing too.

I hope this Passover, despite the heavy hearts, brings you moments of peace and reflection.

Let's keep those who can't be with us in our thoughts and prayers, and use this time to appreciate and fight for the precious freedom we often take for granted.

Wishing you the best Passover possible under the circumstances. Let’s hold onto hope and push for a future where freedom is truly universal.

In case you didn't know, most of the Wayne clan is Jewish.

Bruce and Tim go to synagogue, Dick comes home for the holidays (yes, all of them), and I get called home to light the menorah every Hanukkah.

Barbara, Steph, and Cass aren't Jewish but they do join us in celebration.

Alfred makes the best matzo ball soup, and no, I do not take criticism on that because it is a fact.

I don't know where Duke and Damian stand, but I assume Dami is agnostic at this point? I'll have that conversation with him later.

Anyway, this is just a long winded way of saying happy Passover!
