There are also other organizations such as the Happy Hippie Foundation created and promoted by famous musician Miley Cyrus to help and support LGBTQ youth. In 2017, Miley released her song “Inspired” to honor Pride Month. All of her proceeds went directly into the Happy Hippie Foundation. Miley also created pride themed shoes and shirts for the Converse company. All of the proceeds from the pride merchandise was donated to both the Happy Hippie Foundation and the It Get Better Project.
