Really loved this place a lot. It has 3 museums which have got war weapons & the wax statues holding them seemed as if the were real. As we entered we were thinking that hats off to this man who is standing without blinking his eyes but to our surprise we found that they were just statues. The light & sound show is really really superb. I've not seen such kind of show before hand. Superb Place !!!! To be honest we were about to skip this place... But thankfully we didn't. We saw there Cultural Program with Folk dance, Light and sound show and 7 D movies. Highlight of the visit was Light and sound show and Folk Dance. Both were Amazing. 7 D movies was fun for Kids and is very well managed. The 7d show is excellent, at par with international standards of West. Another one to do is the sound and light show which is one of its kind. Much better than the ones in Udaipur and Jaipur. Armory is very well done with statues almost life like comparable to wax ones in madam Tussauds. Liked the marital arts show and cultural performance of the fort. A must visit for traditional & cultural shows This place was not part of my tour & it was recommended by my driver who mentioned that it is a fort. However, when I visited the place I was impressed. The entrance ticket was reasonably priced and the place was very well maintained (cleanliness wise). What I enjoyed the most was the cultural dance like the Bhangra with the colourful costumes and also the sword fighting acts. The 7D show on Sher-e-Punjab or Lion of Punjab was simply amazing which was historical. The people/staff at the place were very friendly/helpful in direction or explanation. An amazing experience. The 7D and the laser mapping show are must watch and are comparable to international standards. The laser mapping show makes you have goosebumps as the story of Indian independence is projected.
