we take a brief interlude from the major arcana part of the tarot series to add a sneaky little bonus. i'm absolutely not doing any more of the deck that's outside the major arcana, but this one i had a Vision for. Or rather, i had a vision of leonard in the sword suit and picked whichever card's meaning that would let me stick the most knives in him. luckily, i got to stick The Most knives in him!

man. the fact that leonard tried convincing viktor that his love for his siblings in spite of everything was what made him weak and ordinary when in fact he was at his most powerful when he embraced them as his family, and made them and their love and his relation to them his definition of who he was after he spent an entire season trying to remember just that. leonard spent all of s1 telling him that his siblings wanted him to feel small and insignificant and that they never cared about him and in the end it was their unconditional support and the care that leonard tried to claim never existed that enabled viktor to be in full control of himself. without even trying, they were what brought viktor to the point where he was able to harness his powers, not leonard. they loved him to the point of his own self actualization. i am in tears.

I completely and totally understand that Viktor was given A Lot of information to process all at once and it’s A Lot to handle. However. I really don’t think Allison really remembered something that happened when they were 4? 5? I think it’s something that flashed through her mind at that very moment and that’s how it’s done visually too.

I personally don’t remember anything from that age, and I’m younger than they are. So, I don’t think that Allison was just. Keeping the information to herself that entire time. And memories from that long ago can sometimes be confused with dreams, so she might’ve waved it off as a strange dream later on in life.

But, again, there was a lot of information thrown at Viktor all at once and his emotions were high, so of course he wasn’t think rationally. And we see that as soon as he hurts Allison because he seems to snap out of it and rush to her side. Then, Harold comes in and takes the confusion to his advantage to drag Viktor away.
