the brown eyed girl snaps out of her little haze. ghosts were on robin’s mind more than they usually were. pretending to be normal is exhausting and for a second she thought maybe oz sensed that.     “roger that.”     she stood, fixing her posture as if she wasn’t sitting like a shrimp moments before. she slipped on her roughed up converse and followed oz outside. summer evenings like these never disappointed... unless she was getting devoured by mosquitoes.

they hadn’t been out too long. even just a short walk helped pull her out of her silent struggle. before breaking the silence, she looked over at oz with a smile.     "this is nice."     lips pull into a bigger smile, continuing before he could respond.     “-but it’d be even better with a slurpee.”     the sweet tooth strikes again.     “wanna stop at the corner store?”
