Lagi pngn nonton film yang bikin memacu adrenaline 😹 I honestly prefer action movie than horror movie krn lebih bikin jantungan gitu. Elaah. Film yang diangkat dari kisah nyata di Hashima Island 1945 pulaunya gak jauh dari Nagasaki - Jepang. Awal mau nonton liat sinopsisnya dulu sekilas dan belum ngeh terjadi pas masa akhir perang dunia ke-2 bulan Augustus 1945, yang bikin menarik juga tbh gegara pemainnya #songjongki wkwk sama Kim Su An bocil yg main jg di train to busan. . Jadi cerita singkatnya itu ratusan warga Korea dipaksa buat kerja dipertambangan di pulau Hashima milik Jepang tapi kayak dijajah gitu emang dijajah sih krn waktu itu, Korea masih dlm kekuasaan Jepang dan Jepang bersekutu dng A.S. Upah, tempat tinggal mereka jauh dari layak dan makanan yang dikasih juga eughh bgt 😬 masa makananya kaya dedek terus keluar tikus sama kecoa byk 👹so mereka pngn melarikan diri ke negaranya atau atleast gak mau mati disana. . Diluar ekspektasi aktingnya babang jongki kurang greget jauh lebih bagus pas #descendentofthesun, standing applause buat su an, semua ekpresinya dari seneng sedih sampe berhasil ngebakar manager jepang dan nyaksiin Nagasaki dibom keren 👏 Rada bingung juga sih diawal cerita banyak bgt plotnya dari grup band yg mau dikirim ke jepang tapi ditipu, terus dipaksa naik kekapal, tiba2 jongki muncul, ada gengster Korea juga, dan kepala kerja Korea ternyata penghianat. 30 menit pertama too boring dan gak rekomended. Tapi "action" dari film dapet sih dimana gue gak berani liat battle mereka too scared😵 apa2an kepala diputer2 dng tangan kosong 😲 . Dari film ini pulang2 googling krn penasaran sama pulau Hashima, akhir perang dunia ke-2 sampai dihubungin pas bgt hari ini kemerdekaan RI dimana waktu itu Hiroshima & Nagasaki di bom sekutu dan akhirnya Indonesia bisa memploklamirkan kemerdekaan. Yup jd belajar sejarah lg lewat film lebih seru. At least filmnya berfaedah 😸 . When I have lunch with Martin Scorsese. My brief conversation would be.. Tigerwon- Martin, what did you think about the movie Battleship Island? Martin- Well... I have been watching Korean movies over 20+ years and with each movie I learn something new. For this movie, some of the scenes were captivating. Tigerwon-Really? Which one? Martin- Remember the scene where the metal bridge fell down and the Korean people KNEW it was the only way to leave the island? They knew on the other side there was a ship waiting for them. Tigerwon-oh yes! I remember. Martin- when that metal bridge collapsed and fell, I didn't think that it was possible to use a simple fabric, tie it to the metal and pull that metal up to the wall so people can cross over for their freedom. They were Determined. Tigerwon- Indeed! This movie was unique and the story was interesting. It showed the Non-Hollywood version of WW2. Most of the young generation are forgetting and not realizing how much the Soldiers died for their country. You know Martin, I was shocked to find out actor #JavierBardem as Raoul Silva from the movie Skyfall was 🎥 in Gunkanjima (Battleship Island) #Hashimaisland someone mentioned -there's something spooky about that island. Martin-oh yea? Tigerwon-Thank Goodness for subtitles. I would not get through this movie without it! Martin- Me too 😂🤣 Martin- By the way I enjoyed the 360 VR video that you created. Very clever...
