I love the concept of Lovebug and Hatebug, especially if they are literal bugs, and especially if they cause actual sickness.

I have made them!

I have bugged Adwin with the classic Lovebug by @things1do Hatebug (I can'ts find who made the AU, so please tell me so I can credit them) Sorrowbug by @narusparable and Horrorbug by @finnleywiththesillys

I started out just recoloring him to fit each theme, as well as giving him different glasses, and then I went ahead and gave them full designs of their own basically

Sadly Sorrowbug and Horrorbug look the same in how their expression and pose are, there's differences, but it's only slight, but I can't think of how to make him look more scared then sad without changing his eyes completely

Okay… so We have Lovebug, Hatebug, and now Sorrowbug. Now what's next? I mean if we think about human emotions in categories we have Enjoyment, Anger, Sadness, Fear, and Disgust. I mean watch inside out.

But we have something that sorta correlates between three of those emotion categories. (I'm considering love and joy as similar things for simplification) But we lack ones for Fear and Disgust. So hear me out

Horrorbug. Giving the person increasingly more anxiety as it progresses, to the point they lock themselves away and either by killing themselves to stop the constant fear or die from lack of self-care as they hide away from everything in an empty room to limit the amount of things that can happen to them.

Basically, the longer they have it the more inclined they are to do anything to stop the painfully scary intrusive Thoughts they have. Which could lead to Murder, Self-injury, Destruction, Suicide or Worse things I can't think of in the moment.

And like all of these bugs it will never truly subside. As they might lock themselves away in an empty room, no windows, no items, not even a door if they can manage it; nothing will help. Not even the comfort of another person whom they may try to kill in the process of being comforted.

Basically the only sign of this would be ones of typical mental health deterioration. You know lack of energy, feeling on edge, looming dread, insomnia, etc. And it could vary from each one infected. Just like normal mental illnesses would.

Except of one key difference. The infected voice cracks more often. Like its strained or like they were singing a high pitch, even if they're talking normally.

Anyways, just an idea about it. Not making it an official thing so feel free to change it or just completely disregard it :3
