So, for the past 2-3 days i've been thinking about a little oc, and i decided to show them to you all!

This is actually the first sky oc i've made, and i'm very proud of their design myself. I hope you like my little woodcarver kiddo!

Here's a little introduction:

Chirp is a young skykid who lives by themself in Hidden Forest. Their home is a little cavern, safely tucked away under a tree. They work as a builder and likes carving wood, adding small details to their projects. They enjoy good food, crafting things, being with friends and wandering in nature. They dislike making plans, fog, and big social gatherings

social media (specifically fandom culture) has fucked me up so badly in the arena of “stan or anti” because I completely forget that there is a middle ground.

for example: I kinda like Colleen Hoover books. I don’t love her. I dont love all of her books. But I like a couple, and I think I’ll keep reading more. I also kinda wanna buy the beanie from her merch store. but I will not defend her to the death or get mad at people who don’t like her.

That has thrown me through an entire identity crisis.

because now that z-library is down, and it’s down because a person posted a tiktok about how they ripped Ugly Love off of z-lib without paying, everyone is mad at the “Colleen Hoover girlies”

AND IM STANDING HERE LIKE??? WHO AM I MAD AT? THE ONE WHO COULDNT GATEKEEP Z-LIB OVER A GODDAMN COHO NOVEL? OR THE ONES BLAMING THE COHO READERS?? LMFAOOO

And then I realize… it’s okay to be in the middle? such a weird feeling AHAHA. so instead, I just hate everybody LMFAOO

Five things I figured out after about 3 hours on my new prescription;

Fawful from the Mario and Luigi franchise (miss ya AlphaDream) is an anagram of Waffle with an ‘U’ instead of an ‘E’.

Thicc has two C’s to show a nice round tush.

It’s easier to shave after a shower than before one because your skin is smoother, thus allowing the hairs to be cut easier.

I don’t actually know the reason for why I drink so much soda besides the bubbles feel happy on my tongue.

Everybody deserves to have a good day, but not at the expense of another persons good day.

Yk what I want? I want a very early stages post canon labrumisu, but from Chilchuck's POV.

Imagine mister 'interparty romance is the devil' visiting court just to see these three circling each other like a pack of uniquely unhinged cats. And of course he sees it immediately, he's nothing if not perceptive and he's seen this happen so, so many times before. Kabru is hardly subtle in his fascination with Laios, who trusts him in turn more than nearly anybody else. He can see how close Mithrun and Kabru still are, even when there's little reason for the former captain to even stay in Melini. He can see where this is going. And he can see the disaster it's gonna end up in.

So he's just staring at them in horror, trying to figure out what in the world the dynamic here even is and glaring daggers at Kabru all the while for seemingly being the linchpin of this entire bullshit situation. King, his adviser and a fucking foreign noble?? Who thought THAT was a good idea! Is nobody else seeing this?? (no lol) Why is nobody objecting to this politically unsound love triangle that could literally ruin the kingdom they've only just established??

The anger! The distress! The despair when he first sees Laios getting all giddy when Mithrun so much as talks to him. Because hell, now he can't even blame the entire situation on one pretty boy insisting on having fingers in every possible pie, on political and personal level both!

And then they just. Quietly get together. All three of them. And Chil's just watching from the sidelines in complete bafflement because he's invented infinite worst case scenarios for how this will implode in all of their faces and destroy their friend group and topple the entire country and--

Instead they do. This. He'd be relieved if he wasn't so goddamn mad that he's spent months worrying about this shit just for them to resolve it in the least dramatic way possible.

Fuck this, he's taking a holiday.

Sketches from May (and a doodle comic from today)

These are some rough sketches for what their bursts looked like in childhood, teen years, and college. Ingo evolved to Chandelure after college so that's why he's not on there. Also woke up this morning with a vision of them having this conversation so I drew a quick thing of it.

Minor design thing but I think my favourite goof with burst is that it's just gonna change any clothes they're wearing, like Emmet will turn all his shirts and pants fluffy and Ingo is perpetually stuck in some kind of formal wear. Also how Emmet's eyebrows just get replaced by the other set of eyes.

Anyways, I'll see to sketching up a lore post sometime soon, in the meantime hope you like the art and have a good day :)
