Hello! So, I'm getting back into yugioh and my fav character was always the good old dinosaur boy himself Rex. I really love your art of him and all the other yugioh characters! Your style is very cool. I noticed you have a headcanon that Rex has a cat and that is adorable. Have you ever drawn the cat? I would love to see Rex with a cat.

I had NOT drawn his cat until now, though. I wish I could remember which episode it is (i would bet money probably from season 4) but in the dub rex has a throwaway line mentioning "his cat," and i am taking that and RUNNING. His name is Aladar like the iguanadon from Dinosaur (2000) and I feel like he's the meanest cat in the world to everyone BUT Rex. Gets fur all over his jacket, too <3

Hi guys! Heres a lil human Rebecca that originally started just as a doodle but I ended up rendering it and everything lol (Except I kinda got lazy halfway thru my bad)

okay so,, I havent posted art here in,, a hot minute so as an artistic comeback I redesigned my deputy !!

here's some fun facts to get if off my brain:

- His name is Oliver Cornwall, and he's 37 years old

- He doesn't talk much, often speaking in grunts or one word responses. If he talks to you that means he either A) actually views you as a friend or B) hated your guts

- He was in the Air Force in the past and lost his left leg. He now has a prosthetic leg and joking about him being "all-right" is his only coping mechanism

- His voice claim is Nick Offerman

- He listens to Blue Oyster Cult and Pearl Jam (yes he would get a kick out of the Jesus on a skateboard video)

- When liberating Henbane he got so stressed out that he found a patch of bliss and just,, laid in it,, for a good thirty minutes

Still hanging out in our hotel. Despite my husband saying he feels cooped up we sure have been out and about a lot. I havent bothered to pull a watercolor set or sketchbook out of the car. It just feels like too much effort. I have GoW Ragnarok in the car too but same thing..too much effort.

I wanted to doodle something christmas related but Im apparently not in a christmassy mood. We a started watching the tv show 1883 yesterday because my mom warned me Tim Mcgraw was hot in it and I needed to see and she was right. So I doodled majestic lion guy and thats about all the creativity that I have in my bones. I dont know, in order to draw I need peace and good lighting and my own personal space and I cant get that here.

Ive applied to a couple jobs and even got a text back (which Ive never seen before) telling me they forwarded my resume. But it is really hard to apply for jobs on a phone or ipad. I packed my laptop but I packed it too well. Its smooshed underneith a bunch of things in the car and I cant get to it.

Otherwise we've been to a couple farmers markets. When we lived in columbus I said I hated living on a border city. Like it kinda makes me nauseous because people from Georgia and alabama might as well be from different countries but now Im on the border of Mexico and New Mexico and it is..interesting. But this little farmers market had this baker and Im all about the french cafe pastries lifestyle..one of the best crescents Ive ever had. I could have died. And the area was actually very aesthetic too for having broken trailers and chickens. I would totally go back another weekend when we are done scoping out other empty calories.

Theres a few other french bakeries in the area I want to try.

Also hit up the local rock wall gym. I love that its private and will be 5 minutes from our house when we move in. The gym is in another building behind it. And then this post has the fanciest on post shopping center Ive ever seen including a starbucks. My only regret is is there doesnt appear to be free yoga classes. There is another massive rockwall gym in the new part of town that we havent been to yet. It does apparently have a fitness center and yoga classes included in price. I would love to go (sorry local empty gym) but its like 800$/yr and I need to be several paychecks deep to think of signing up for that.

We also did a local escape room with some buddies who live here and they've never done one before. It was a good first one too. We had to escape a mental asylum and the doors would shake and scream. Was fun.

My only plans today are Id like to hit up the major mall in the area..probably wont happen..we may go climbing this morning first but we are scoping out daycare/boarding facilities for our dog in the future. Everyplace here has requirements that make me feel like Im sending her off to a private boarding school.

I still havent been to the local art store either but I was kinda waiting til we moved into our house.

Okay Okay. Hear me out here. So we were given the statues this morning, the ones that didn’t look like any known breed, right? Anyways, i took the image of that statues and sketched over one of them

The leftmost one in the circle. That one. I put together a quick doodle to get the dragon i’m thinking of out of my head. By these three statues, it looks like it’s a scaley and bulky dragon with regal looking horns and the usual 4-legs, 2-wings, modern dragon stature. The tail could be more extravagant ngl, but I was lazy here. Same with all the scales. Scales are a pain in the butt to draw.

To start: Primary is the grey/coal colors, secondary is swamp, and tert is denim underbelly with Nature Eyes. Colors based on my progen because i was half-joking earlier that I’d breed change her into one. I was thinking it has these large growths/scales/frills (?) behind its actual horns as part of the secondary, kinda like fae. Reminds me of the pokemon kommo-o tbh. It would have a short muzzle, like a tundra and snapper.

And simple, bulky, almost bogsneak-like feet as seen in the earth scene. I could’ve made them a bit more hand-like and chonky like bogs, but again, quick doodle.

Anyways, i could be WAY OFF. But this is what I’m thinking the m pose would look like. The f pose (middle statue in circle) i think would be spikier and smaller, maybe less bulky and scaley? This is my modern breed theory. If I’m close at the reveal (tomorrow?) I’m gonna Flip. This would be the coolest dang earth breed.

ok so playing around with the idea for a simple normal world domestic au for ghs and i know thats boring but thats the POINT. as always ive been thinking about chef and gregory PUNCHES THE WALL MASCULINELY listen tf up...

gregory owns a dusty little bookstore and one day chef goes there and theyre the only ones in because james is off at school but then it starts to rain and chef cant leave otherwise his flame would go out so he has to wait out the storm at the shop... and its this dark and kind of drafty little place with old lamps (most of which arent lit) and weird antiques and knick knacks that gregory sells on the side and gregory cant help but be super nosy and get to know chef. chef doesnt totally understand why he keeps coming back because gregory annoys him because he’s so cyptic and chef is blunt and doesnt care for small talk but he ends up bringing gregory lunch because he challenged his cooking expertise and NOBODY doubts his abilities and ever since then greg has been an avid fan of his cooking and chef ends up continuing to bring gregory these cute little lunches....

they get to know each other and chef is like “come to my restaurant” and gregory is all like “haha are you asking me out on a date” and it ends up being a 5 star super amazing fancy popular place and gregory isnt necessarily surprised but hes amazed and is like “why did you never tell me about this before. you are so quiet” and chef makes him a super awesome dinner and it basically ends up being a date.

the little lunches chef brings turn to flowers and to hot cocoa together and in the autumn they go on walks around the city and wear scarfs and stupid sweaters and gregory wears itchy little cardigans. when theyre on this little path around the lake and everything is red and grey they stop for a while and look around and greg looks down and takes one of chef hands in both of his and fidgets around and smiles and chef HOLY FUCK give me a minute. with his other hand chef holds gregorys face and greg reaches up to pull his scarf down and they KISS. 

in the summer chef and greg wear stupid hawaiin shirts and chef is the bbq dad in cargo shorts. gregory ends up introducing him to catherine and after she gets over her initial crush on him they become good friends and she visits him at work on her lunch break. she visits the little bookstore all the time too and james absolutely loves her and she always brings him candy and because hes got a morbid curiosity she tells him about her job with all the surgeries she helps out on and gross stuff like that

chef can clearly tell gregory has trouble feeding himself and everything he makes is just boxed dinners and james hates it it sucks so chef starts coming over in the evening and makes dinner for them and he dishes it up and calls for james to come and get his plate and they eat at a little table together in their little house that is right next door attached to the bookstore. chef starts to let james help him with cooking and teaching him how to cook. james wants to grow up and be a train conductor but he loves cooking too and chef isnt verbal about it but he adores the kid

in the winter gregory wears one of chefs oversized sweaters and spends the day in bed with a cup of cocoa and a book because he’s old and his joints hurt and hes got a cold and chef takes james to school and picks him up and they visit his restaurant for a little while until he drops him off at home and james runs around the room and tells his grandpa all about his day

omfg wait can i give chef like a normal name...... thats not just chef... everybody calls him chef and he never shares his real name but gregory ends up learning it and he calls him it at really special heartfelt moments aw fuck

ok i think this is all i have now i will update with doodles one day possibly? i havent thought about anybody else in the au yet because i always focus on these guys but ill get there eventually if you have ideas Talk to me

Final result of the anti-anxiety daily walk super plan!

I failed at the last hurdle lol. But also sorta not?? Cos i mixed up the days and technically i should bhave finished on the 5th but i was going until the 7th. So i ended up doing 8 days and just missed the 9th when i never wanted to do 9 in the first place so TECHNICALLY i won???

And really it kinda wasnt my fault here, i didnt ditch the last lap around the neighbourhood cos of anxiety but cos the weather is EVEN SHITTIER THAN USUAL TODAY. Hot weather and britain really do not mix, we have no airconditioning and are used to cold rainyness all year round so our houses are built to stay warm. And everytging's crowded so going outside is heat hell too! Its been sweaty AF all week and im proud of myself for still being able to keep up the daily walk despite that. Probably got better exercise than expected, tho it also made it harder to be non anxious in crowds! Some days were too hot to wear my binder without fainting, and i legit have never been out in short sleeves and non baggy clothes for almost ten years. So again, very proud of myself! Icm becoming way more comfortable going into crowds as The Me and Not Dying! But today was the absolute worst hottest day in an already horrible summer, and i just couldnt do it. I did go out for a small walk technically but i literally just went 20 metres and then went back indoors cos i was Already Dead. I joined a pokemon go raid with another dude tho so that was almost a functional social interaction! XD but yeah after ten minutes of resting in the shade doing pokems it became apparant i was not gonna be able tp bounce back from this potential heatstroke lol. But i didnt count it as a walk cosi didnt even gegt one kilometre. But then again the original intent was anti anxiety rather than the most exercise, so maybe it did cpunt cos it was stressful sweaty gross day and the road outside my house was pretty crowded and all? Ehhi probably should have decided on the actual rules for this thing before i started doing it, lol...

Anyway final result was 14km walked in the super sun, and thats not half bad! Thats double the very minimal goal i set of a 1km lap of the neighbourhood each day. And i prevailed through 4 mildly socially awkward situations, which shall each be a quarter of a point, perhaps! I do not know what i win with my 15 points but i sure do have them!

But alas i might be a tad delayed on the drawing prompt monster i was gonna make at the end of the week. Its so fuckon hot that my computer whirrs up to potentially dangerous heats after just an hour of work. And my keyboard and chair are also Burning, and for the most part i can block out the screen glare but its still throwing off my perception of colours and contrast. I was absolutely heat destroyed just doing that stupid lil nintendo switch photo edit to warm up my skills :(

But i have doodled a bunch of potential designs! So if u guys wanna see this unfinished stuff in bad phone photo form, i could upload that? Or i can just try and stay up all night and hope it cools down enough in the brief 4-5 hour window of darkness we have. Seriously i havent been getting good sleep for ages, i cant sleep without a semi weighty blanket on my shoulders yet it boils me alive yet if i try and sleep without the blanket im just laying awake for hours and then i still wake up from boiling alive just slightly less so. Alas! And ive been trying to do strategies like sticking the blanket up over the window as improvised curtains cos MY DUMB HOUSE HAS NO CURTAIN RAIL but it keeps falling down even when i nail it in. I cant use proper big nails cos the landlord said only sticking up posters with tape and stuff. I think i might be allowed to paint the walls tho but thats irrelevant.

ANYWAY BUNNI IS A BAKED POTATO AND RAMBLING FROM STRESS OK BYE
