All these time skip redesigns and now I have the urge but no motivation to do redesigns for my own ocs. I guess I can at least give some confirmation for designs I’m thinking of for them...

Kaede, still the co-lieutenant of second, would have a big change. She would have swapped her white obi for a dark orange tied with a purple cord. She’d wear detached black sleeves and thigh-high boots tied in the back with purple cords. She’d have also added a deep purple hip-length haori. Her shihakusho is still a halter one piece and she would still wear her badge on her right thigh.

Chinatsu, lieutenant of eighth now (separate verse from Yuyu Yayahara), still wears the standard shihakusho. She has swapped the purple obi for a rose-colored obi with gold trim. Her long curly hair is now styled in bun with a new gold hairpin with a bird of paradise design.

Amaterasu, lieutenant of seventh after Tetsuzaemon’s promotion (again separate verse of canon), has a sleeve of intricate tattoos on each arm and an extension of her back tattoo onto her chest. Her hair is now tied in a high ponytail with a small braid on the left side. She still wears the same green obi and standard shihakusho.

Minako, still the twelfth’s eighth seat, has the smallest change. Her hair is now a chin-length bob of wavy hair. Her ears are also now pointed and elf-like, a result of experimentation.

So, first and foremost, Amaterasu has no actual memory of her childhood, or anything before the Soul Society. Even her death or how she passed on is something she can’t recall. However, if we’re really curious of her life before death, before she became the Ama we’ve been blessed with today;

Ama was born into poverty, as a miracle child to a couple who thought themselves infertile until her birth. Despite their social cast, they spoiled their daughter as much as they could afford. Even by the time she was fifteen, her parents had even arranged for her to marry into a family that was more financially stable. Unfortunately, of course, no one got to experience or see that wedding happen.

There’s a spot on her lower abdomen, below her belly that’s extremely sensitive. Even just a light touch of fingers or lips there will cause her to tingle.

Found an interesting picrew (pm me for link!). So decided to make the basics of Amaterasu's room, ft Goro.

Since she stays in the barracks, her room is small and barren. She's pretty plain, with very little personal items to decorate. She does keep a dog dish and a plush rug in her room for Komamura's dog, Goro, and will leave her door partially open at all times so he can come and go as he pleases.

So finding these videos and the music to be really soothing. Then it got me thinking:

Chinatsu would be interested in music and instruments like this. I don’t think it’s too farfetched to say she would play the shamisen. Possibly Ama as well. It’s something that would be like therapy for her and she would enjoy immensely.

Hell, Chinatsu probably taught her, along with others interested.

Ama’s Inner World: Raijin’s Domaine

The world is always dark, seemingly illuminated by light without a source. However it’s dim and often blocked by black clouds that swirl like a thick fog and are pushed by a listless wind. Given the darkness, the surroundings of her world are indistinctive. There is notes of tall grass and a thick canopy of trees unbothered by the wind that pushes the clouds around her. There’s barely sound, silent as a void, except for the occasional cackle or crash of Raijin’s thunderous lightning.

When Ama feels the emotions of panic and anger, a storm without lightning or rain will rage. The loud booms of thunder echo in the clouds. To most, it’s a deafening sound. To Ama and Raijin, it’s but a sound of melancholy.

So I’m not sure if the age groups of my muses is obvious...? I know quite a few it is, but others it’s kind of... a guess. Thus here is a list of my muses and their estimated age groups (going by human age). Bleach muses, both oc and canon, only here.

Amaterasu Mochizuki: She actually died when she was in her late teens. However, her age now would be estimated to her early to late 20′s.

Candice Catnipp: Unfortunately a character who’s age was never revealed. If I had to guess, she’s another woman who appears in her 20′s, at the very least late 20′s. As for her actual age... I’ll have to get back on that in a later headcannon.

Chinatsu Yamamoto: Between 40′s and 50′s. She has some youthfulness still about her, but there are still a few wrinkles to reveal her age. And honestly, we can live with that.

Elsabeth Morgenstern: So Elsa here is a bit tricky. I imagine her in her mid to late 20′s. However, like the mun, she appears much younger. Like ten years younger. It’s a blessing and curse...

Haineko: Late 20′s to early 30′s. At least that’s how old I imagine Rangiku is, and her zanpakuto would reflect that too.

Kaede Shiba: Antoher late 20′s to early 30′s. She’s about the third eldest of my muses, but still surprisingly younger in comparison to Chinatsu or Unohana.

Leith Lister: Mid to late 30′s. Let’s be fair, he’s based off of Worick Arcengelo who’s also in his 30′s, so it only feels fitting.

Minako Kita: I know I had said early 20′s somewhere early in her development, but I feel that needs changed. I’m gonna claim her to be about mid to late teens. 

Mizuiro Kojima: Okay so! This one. This one is such an area I gotta be cautious of. While I do play the og high school Mizuiro, I do welcome roleplays of him in the time skip. So if it’s pre-time skip, in his teens (15-17) obviously, but post-time skip he’s coming to his late 20′s (27 specifically).

Naomi Mori: Late 20′s (29).

Retsu Unohana: My eldest muse currently. Let’s place her at about 60′s to 70′s.

Yachiru Kusajishi: Definitely 10, maybe younger. She is baby and an actual child.

I also wanna talk about why there’s wh*re put here, and gonna play with a human au here for her. Disclaimer; mentions of sexual abuse, slut shaming, and prostitution.

So, if anyone’s seen Ama’s occupations, she's an ex-prostitute. It’s not delved into in her official biography (simply out of respect for those who are sensitive to the subject). But what I’d like to establish here is that her prostitution was non-consensual, but forced upon her by her ex-lover and only family. She took any patrons at this time, desperate for the money demanded of her by her partner (and partner is used loosely here). This included married men and sometimes women. This of course put a negative label on her throughout her district.

After escaping the trauma and discarding her forced profession, she doesn’t care to talk about or even mention it. All official paperwork is even left as vague as allowed. Only a few people know of her past, such as few in the fourth division including Retsu Unohana, along with Sajin Komamura and Tetsuzaemon Iba.

In a human au, I imagine her story is very much the same as her main verse. An ex-prostitute, escaped from an abusive and toxic relationship. All the same only a selected few and her doctor knows. She probably works an social media influencer, focused on fitness and health. This plays very much into her journey from a healer to one of the strongest (and now lieutenant) of her division. Her favored fitness training is yoga and martial arts, primarily self-defense.

She also does lots of charity work, supporting domestic violence and sexual abuse/harassment victims, and mental illness awareness. Most of this is done more in the shadows however, with use of money earned through sponsorships.

Of course, an influencer isn’t without haters. And given how she’d have the same disassociated personality, it’d be no surprise for her to gain a thread of anti-fans; with plenty of insults and slurs to label her.

Amaterasu & Minako : probably the Meiji period. Minako’s a bit earlier than that.

Chinatsu, Kyoka, & Unohana : definitely feudal Japan, anywhere between the 12th to 17th century.

Elsabeth : uncertain, but possibly 16th century western Europe.

Kaede, Dina, Haineko, & Naomi : either 90s or 2010s/modern, or anywhere in between. 80s possibly for Dina.

Leith : obviously the 1920s, as that is the era he grew up so...

Candice : the 1930s- 1940s, WWII era. the US specifically.

So reminders about Ama, ‘cause she doesn’t really get around much.

She’s the lieutenant of 7th, following Iba’s promotion after the Blood War. Her position beforehand was as their third seat. She’s been with the seventh division since Komamura was promoted to captain, where her former division was the 4th. With @bellringerbrawler​ Shigeru, the position is shared between the two as co-lieutenants. There’s some specifics I’m sure Jeff and I gotta work out, like why Iba took on *two* lieutenants.

She looks up to both Komamura and Iba, with a tiny crush on her former captain. This, of course, never blossoms into anything more. Her love for dogs stems from her admiration for her captain, and an attachment to Goro. However, she greatly admires both men, especially as they give no judgement to her past.

Speaking of Ama’s past- I’m going to state this outright; Amaterasu has no memories of her life in the world of living. She was taken in by a man who became her ‘partner’. He used and abused her throughout their time together, even forcing her into prostitution as a means of income. Ama did kill him, though she doesn’t recall how.

Because of past trauma, she may suffer from some PTSD. Thankfully, having been a member of the fourth, it was addressed soon as Unohana or Isane caught on. She has since made tremendous progress in healing.

The only people to know about her past are Unohana/Isane and possibly anyone else in 4th, Komamura, Iba, Shuuhei @kazeshinigami​, and Shigeru.

Ama has horrid handwriting, by the way. She never really learned to read and write (though she would have known before memory loss) until she entered the Academy. If her handwriting could be described, it’s that of an elementary student.

Small reminders and coming outs for my ocs (plus two canon muses), for pride month:

Naomi, Ama, Aimi, Nagisa, and Yume are all pansexual, with Ama being demiromantic.

Minako falls under full on ace/aro. And the Akahime Shizuka is demi.

Kaede and Chinatsu are straight allies, though Kaede leans into panromantic and possibly poly.

My Himiko Toga is nonbinary (they/she pronouns preferable) and pan/demi, while Mizuiro is a trans man.
