i am unable to make a coherent thought right now. i need another au to think about. i need to create lore. how do i satiate this feeling.
With a new AU of course.
So have you guys seen *cough cough* The My Little Pony Equestria Girls movies? No? Yes? Well it doesn't matter. Because I'm going to explain my MLPEG AU.
This one actually starts with Evan. He's Princess Twilight Sparkle. Or, well, Prince Evan. He's the Prince of Childhood Innocence or something, idk.
So the before part doesn't really matter, but Elizabeth (who takes the place of Sunset Shimmer) steals Evan's magic crown. Obviously big no no. So Evan goes through the portal and is human and not pony. Helpy is Spike.
There, Evan meets Gabriel (taking the place of Applejack), Jeremy (Rainbow dash), Susie (Fluttershy), Fritz (Pinkie Pie), and Cassidy (Rarity). He does his friendship thing and Elizabeth takes the crown and transforms into Scrap Baby.
The MCI pony up and beat her ass with friendship, turning her back into Lizzy. They have a heart to heart and Evan goes back to Ponyville.
And then the second movie :)
My favorite movie :)
RAINBOW MOTHERFUCKING ROCKS. FUCK YEAH!!
So, Elizabeth is the outcast of the school now. The MCI are doing their best to help her, but it's difficult. Then, just like in Rainbow Rocks, we cut to a small cafe. People are arguing, and there's a faint green mist on the floor. We pan up to find four teenagers sitting in a booth, singing.
"Ugh, are you sure this is worth it? I hate eating fast food." One of them pouts, flipping their hood back to reveal black hair, dyed blue at the front. This is James.
"We take what we can get, James." Another flips their hood back, and they're Taylor, their hair coiled in a long braid. "We can't be picky."
"Doesn't mean it's good. It's just not enough anymore." A third pulls their hood down, and brown hair reveals Matthew.
The last opens their mouth to talk, but the friendship beams from Equestria Girls is shown in the background. All four of them gasp.
"Equestrian magic.." The last pulls their hood down, and they're Michael Afton, eyes shining with hunger.
He turns to his fellow Sirens and opens his mouth, the screen cutting to black.
Blah blah blah, boring band things. Anyway, the Sirens are defeated in a cool ass song. Their Siren forms are just their representative masks (Bonnie, Chica, Freddy, and Foxy respectively).
But their gems aren't destroyed, so Michael pulls them back and they run off.
And then the Friendship Games!
Instead of SciTwi being here, Crystal Prep's star student is one Jeremy Fitzgerald. Because I can't not have him.
He's wanting to pursue a higher education, but needs a scholarship to do so. He discovers magic and becomes enamored with it, trying to understand it with the help of a little doohickey circle thing.
He finds the portal, and sucks the magic right out of it and Elizabeth. He gets scared and gets on the bus.
Throughout the movie, their magic is depleted one by one.
They're all getting desperate. They need to win the games and everything is going wrong, and they can't even contact Evan. Elizabeth makes a decision, and during an intermission she goes out from the school.
The games continue on. The magic Jeremy has is getting harder and harder to contain, and Unleash the Magic happens. He releases the magic and turns into (wait, can you guess) Nightmare Mangle. What a shocker. Look, when there's only one thing the guy is known for you gotta use it.
He becomes obsessed with magic, and starts destroying everything a la Midnight Sparkle.
Everything is almost broken, until someone shouts.
"HEY!" It gains Nightmare Mangle's attention. "What do you think you're doing?!"
It's Michael. He looks different- more mature, bolder, more confident, whatever. But it's undoubtedly Michael.
Nightmare Mangle cackles. "Who do you think you are? A hero? Why even try when the world is breaking at my very presence?" He gestures to the gaping holes in the ground and in the air, which are slowly but surely growing.
"This isn't the right way to get what you want. Trust me, I'd know." Michael chuckles, clutching at the gem worn around his neck.
"What do you know of ambition? Is all you have to say meaningless words and promises of redemption?"
He clicks his tongue. "Well, I certainly know whatever the hell you're doing is giving off a lot of negative energy. And stop talking so poetically, you're not that kind of villain."
"Oh? Then, pray, what kind of villain am I?"
Michael doesn't look impressed, kicking a stone into the vast sky of the portals. "A lousy one."
This sends Nightmare Mangle into a rage, flying at Michael. The Siren hums a little tune and a giant fox is barreling into Jeremy.
All this time, Elizabeth is searching for the magic circle thing. Eventually she finds it while Michael distracts Jeremy, and does the Sunset Shimmer Friendship Games power up to try and talk down Jeremy.
Michael is eventually knocked out by Jeremy, and Elizabeth gains his attention.
They start fighting, and start beam attacking each other. Jeremy almost wins were it not for a blue rabbit kicking him away.
Nightmare Mangle growls and looks at James, who's standing over Michael's unconscious body protectively.
"You didn't think he came alone, did you? You're a fucking moron!"
While he's distracted with James, Elizabeth seals up the portals. The magic circle thingy is laying on the ground, and Taylor picks it up. They whistle, gaining Lizzy's attention, and they throw it up to her.
"Take his magic back! It's corrupting him!" They yell, narrowly dodging a beam.
Lizzy opens the pendant and points it at Jeremy, who claws at himself to keep the magic but is drained, falling in a heap on the floor.
She depowers and goes over to him. He's barely conscious, but shivering and shaking.
Matthew comes up to them, staring down at Jeremy thoughtfully. "He almost died, you know. That much magic in a person who hasn't had any before is dangerous."
Elizabeth sighed. "I know."
Jeremy is taken to the hospital for examination, and the MCI reconvenes near the school doors. The Sirens are with them too.
"Thank you for helping us, Mike. I think we would've died without you guys." Elizabeth brings Michael into a hug.
The MCI is confused. They tried to enslave the entire world last time they saw them and now Elizabeth is treating their leader as her brother?
"It's no problem. Just a thank you for helping us out."
Turns out Elizabeth had been visiting them and talking with them, and apparently had even convinced them to join the good side. They hardly ever used their Siren powers for anything malicious, usually just saving them for party tricks or real emergencies.
And then we get to Camp Everfree. The Sirens have re-enrolled in Canterlot High, and Jeremy has kind of joined their little clique. Turns out that having the magic of six borderline pony gods in a dude at once has some lingering effects, so Jeremy's learning to control his new magic. He's terrified he's going to slip back into Nightmare Mangle, but the reassurance from his ten (10!!) new friends can only go so far before he breaks.
Michael is determined to give his friends the most normal field trip of their lives. No magic weirdness, no powerups, no Siren junk, no nothing. Just being teenagers out in the woods.
Of course nothing can ever go to plan and Jeremy's magic starts misbehaving. The others are also having trouble with their powers, and the only people who know how to control it are the Sirens and Evan. So Cassidy finds a way to contact Evan, and he shows up.
"Hey, weren't you.."
"Yeah, trying to enslave humanity? That was a couple months ago, keep up."
So, they try and work on their magic, but a being known as Vanny Everfree shows up and wreaks havoc. (It's just their camp counselor, Vanessa A., using magic rocks she found in a cave.)
They have to power up to save the camp, but Jeremy's terrified. They try managing without him, but they are quickly overpowered.
Jeremy is forced to do a magical girl transformation, and it goes better than he hoped.
The Sirens are pretty useless here, so they're tasked with keeping people safe.
They do power explosion beams, raise money for the camp, and go on their merry way.
And they live happily ever after, fighting pony magic and being awesome.
That's it

The Haunted watch (FNAF fangame)
Tumblr media
The Haunted Watch is a fangame made by me (PaigeLTS05) and was published on the 8th of July 2022.
Most of the art assets were made in and throughout 2021.
It follows the final 5 days of C location remaining open, and follows the story of the night guard, Phone 'Krasnyy' Guy.
The game contains elusions to heavy violence, but only one ending (and it's the fake one) actually shows any blood.

The game contains elusions to heavy violence, but only one ending (and it's the fake one) actually shows any blood.
It’s a little thing I made in RPG maker MZ, and whilst I can code in C++ and C# and have made some things in Unity, it’s just nice to not have the weight of physics and the movement system on your shoulders so you can just focus on making a story and somehow turning what should be a simple series of ‘if’ statements into spaghetti.
Total Dev time: approx. 120 hours.
The game is called…
The Haunted Watch.
Plot:
The year is 1997.
There have been many Freddy's locations, and each tried to emulate the methods of what transpired at Hurricane, Utah.
Whilst most have closed, the location in Chicago, Illinois, is still open, despite being noted as the failure of the bunch.
With a living phone guy, a reluctant purple man who may or may not now be colluding with the police, and a focus on electrical ghosts rather than remnant, this location was quite frankly deemed a mess, and now as the 10 year anniversary of this locations missing children incident approaches, the location cannot stay open any longer.
For the last week, the night guard on shift is Phone 'Krasnyy' Guy. As it approaches the 10 year anniversary of the missing children incident, the 4 year anniversary of almost getting murdered by Vincent Taylor on his 4th night also draws close, as well as it having been a few months since the animatronics made him their ‘voice’ (which entails him having to do as the animatronics command, since the animatronics realised that having a teammate not confined by circuitry would speed up the process of finding their killer).
All he has to do is survive one new final week. But the animatronics are not trying to kill him, but instead, are intent on pushing his sanity to its limits to find out when he will break again, as they’re not letting go of their final opportunity so soon.
Characters:
Main: Krasnyy Guy (the phone guy), Philip Guy (shadow Freddy), Vincent Taylor.
Antagonistic: Gerald Taylor (Golden Freddy), Felix Taylor (Foxy), Roy (Bonnie), Celes (Chica), Ferdinand (Freddy).
Make an appearance in the true ending: Mike Schmidt, Jeremy Fitzgerald, Fritz Smith, Danielle Schmidt (OC), PT (OC)

Fake ending images:
The following images are for the games two FAKE endings. The endings that are not cannon. The glorified game-overs.

Character portraits
The only portraits I used in this fangame that didn't belong to me are the two used for the arcade game characters. One came with the engine and the other was made using the in-engine character creator. But you won't see them here.
All of these are hand drawn:
Main: Krasnyy, Philip, Vincent

Krasnyy's portrait was the only one re-drawn in 2022, and he got a 'distressed' portrait to boot.
Antagonistic: Gerald, Felix, Ferdinand, Celes, Roy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ending:
In the true ending, Krasnyy and Vincent get new portraits.
Even the characters who ONLY appear in the true ending have a portrait.
Tumblr media
As mike appears in all endings, he also has a portrait.
Tumblr media
And that's a wrap! I hope you play the game. It should take an hour, and DO NOT RELY ON THE AUTOSAVE (I didn't find the setting to switch autosaves OFF until after the games release and if I touch it again, it'll eat my time with overhauls).

Why He Lost: Despite his Junior Roland Garros win, Tommy Paul struggles on clay. What needs to change?
Back in 2015, a young junior named Tommy Paul raised the championship trophy at Roland Garros. Granted, he beat fellow American Taylor Fritz, who isn't exactly known for his prowess on clay. But making it to the final suggested they both could play on this surface, right? After all, ranked 15th and 16th in that tournament were Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas, who are now considered among the best clay courters in the game.
Since that win, however, Paul hasn't done much to show he’s become more proficient on clay, indicating that his title might have been more about a favorable draw than dominance on the surface.
To many, Francisco Cerundolo's victory over Paul was no surprise. South Americans are typically strong on clay, and despite Paul's Junior Roland Garros title, he's not known as a clay court specialist. Does this mean we should always count out Americans at Roland Garros? And what does this mean for Taylor Fritz's chances against his next opponent, Casper Ruud?
Before diving into that, let’s examine the Paul vs. Cerundolo match to see where the Argentine excelled and where Paul needs improvement to credibly challenge opponents on clay.
Tumblr media
Key Factors in Cerundolo's Win
Clay Court Advantage:
Cerundolo's Win Rate on Clay: Cerundolo has a strong record on clay, evidenced by his performance in the clay-court season leading up to Roland Garros. He reached the semi-finals in Rio earlier in the year and had a solid run in Monte Carlo.
Serve Efficiency:
First Serve Percentage: Cerundolo had a first-serve percentage of 76%, significantly higher than Paul's 56%. This difference allowed Cerundolo to win more points on his serve, maintaining consistent pressure on Paul.
First Serve Points Won: Cerundolo won 71% of his first-serve points compared to Paul's 78%. Despite Paul's higher percentage, his lower first-serve rate meant fewer opportunities to capitalize on his stronger first serve.
Break Points Conversion:
Break Points Conversion Rate: Cerundolo converted 4 out of 5 break points (80%), while Paul managed only 3 out of 7 (43%). This efficiency was crucial in shifting the match in Cerundolo's favor during pivotal moments.
Baseline Play and Consistency:
Winners and Unforced Errors: Cerundolo hit more winners and made fewer unforced errors, showcasing his superior baseline play and consistency. In their previous encounter, Cerundolo had a winners percentage of 51% compared to Paul's 43%.
Long Rallies: Cerundolo's ability to engage in and win long rallies forced Paul into defensive positions, leading to more errors from Paul.
Improvements for Tommy Paul on Clay
Improve Movement and Footwork:
Sliding and Recovery: On clay, effective sliding and quick recovery are essential. Paul needs to enhance his movement to better handle the high-bouncing balls typical of clay courts.
Increase First Serve Percentage:
Service Games Stability: By increasing his first serve percentage, Paul can secure more free points and reduce the frequency of relying on his second serve. This would alleviate pressure during his service games.
Enhanced Baseline Strategy:
Constructing Points: Paul should focus on mixing topspin with flat shots to keep his opponents off balance. A more aggressive and varied baseline game can help him dictate rallies better.
Mental Toughness in Break Points:
Break Points Performance: Improving his mental game during critical points, such as break points, can enhance Paul's ability to convert these opportunities more effectively. Paul's lower conversion rate (43%) compared to Cerundolo's (80%) highlights this area of improvement.
Physical Conditioning:
Endurance: Clay court matches can be grueling. Better physical conditioning will help Paul endure long rallies and maintain a high level of play throughout the match.
By addressing these specific areas, Tommy Paul can improve his performance on clay courts and increase his competitiveness against players like Francisco Cerundolo.

I had such a scary dream last night the whole idea of it was kind of idiotic but I woke up sweating and shaking. Basically my neighbourhood was being terrorised by some guy who just ran around and beat passers-by with a stick. He gained power by attacking people. If anyone retaliated it made 0 effect on him. The police intervened and shot at him and it didn't harm him in any way whatsoever. I was like wtf this is terrifying there's no one who can stop him the whole world will fall into mayhem because of this one guy who gets unlimited power from attacking others. Also Taylor fritz was there which felt equally distressing

As of today Stef is no longer a top 10 player and I am sad about it :(
He entered it March 2019 and will be leaving after nearly 5 years. Of the current top 10 players he has the second longest consecutive streak, him and Djokovic are the only two players there who have never left after entering- I say this in present tense because the rankings don't officially update until Monday
This is partially Andrey Rublev's fault, he lost to Alex de Minaur yesterday meaning that Alex overtook Stef. And then Taylor Fritz won today which officially knocked Stef down to no. 11- Taylor probably would have won anyway, but Andrey really shouldn't have lost and if he hadn't Stef would still be no. 10 (unless he then lost to Dimitrov in the semis). This is why I'm trying not to stress too much, points wise it's very close and it's so dependent on what happens to everyone else
I knew I hated Fritz lol- he beat Stef at Monte Carlo (where Stef was twice defending champion) last year, and at AO this year (where he was defending finalist points). Both of those times Stef was coming off injury so it's frustrating given the circumstances but I'm not actually worried- healthy Stef wouldn't have much trouble against him. And now he is responsible for the end of the top 10 streak? Boo
I mean, given the injury trouble he's had on and off it's impressive that he kept it for so long. It was the back injury end of last year that caused this, otherwise he would likely have done much better at the AO and defended more of his points, and he didn't get the rest and practice in during the off season so he's doing it now- if he'd played this week he likely would have got some more points but he didn't
It's not the end of the world- Stef is defending almost nothing until April and even after that there is plenty for him to gain so he'll get it back quickly, it'll be a few weeks at most I think. And at the end of the day it is just a stat. But it was a nice one to have and I am annoyed that it's gone
(Despite the stress he causes me I have missed him terribly. I'm looking forward to Los Cabos and Acapulco in the next couple of weeks)

the curse of ATP Madrid 2024
remember toronto's chaos? yeah this one's crazier
(shoutout @rodlaveraryna for helping me find the toronto post when I totally lost it)
first of all, the World #1 Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the tournament, making the fairly new #2 Jannik Sinner the top seed at a Masters 1000 for the first time.
In the first round, Félix Auger-Aliassime (who, keep in mind, took Nadal to five sets at Roland Garros) loses the first set to Nishioka. However, he comes back in the second and third sets to win the match 4-6 6-1 6-4. We'll be seeing a lot of him. In a Next Gen battle, young phenomenon João Fonseca loses the first set to the clay incompetent Alex Michelsen but proceeds to bagel him in the second set and then win the third with 4-6 6-0 6-2. Fabian Marozsan (of beating Alcaraz in Rome fame) saves eleven set points against Karatsev to win the first set and goes on to win the match 7-6 7-6. Moutet and Shang play an almost four hour match in which Moutet caused a massive delay by demanding the umpire give him coffee. And, most insane of all, teenager Darwin Blanch is drawn against Rafael Nadal for his second tour match ever. The scoreline is 6-1 6-0 (at least he got a game!)
Second round - here come the seeds. Jakub Menšík, yet another Next Gen wonder, upsets Dimitrov in three intense sets 6-2 6-7 6-3. Félix bagels known clay flop Mannarino. Fonseca loses quite brutally to Norrie. The ultimate clay hater himself, Daniil Medvedev, loses the first set to Matteo Arnaldi and looks absolutely done but comes back to win 2-6 6-4 6-4. Another known clay hater, Alexander Bublik, jokes his way through a win against Carballés Baena, who was so frustrated that he hit a serve directly at Bublik. Ben Shelton bagels Machac. Rafa manages to beat de Minaur, who he just lost to in Barcelona. Stefanos Tsitsipas, fresh off of two clay finals, is beaten by qualifier Monteiro 6-4 6-4.
In the third round, our top seed Jannik Sinner starts to show sign of discomfort, and his opponent Kotov is serving for the second set after Jannik won the first. Kotov has set point... and hits a questionable underarm serve that Jannik crushes down the line. Jannik goes on to break back and win the match 6-2 7-5. In the beginning of a long line of strange occurrences, Félix's opponent Menšik retires in the second set. Daniil loses the first set to Korda, yells at everyone, accuses the umpire of working for the Illuminati, but comes back to win the match 5-7 7-6 6-3. Bublik, the other resident clay hater, beats Ben Shelton 3-6 7-6 6-4, stetting up a match against who but Daniil. Holger Rune, who made two clay masters finals, loses to Griekspoor 6-4 4-6 6-3.
We start off the fourth round with another shaky Jannik match where he barely gets past Khachanov 5-7 6-3 6-3. At the exact same time - I kid you not, the exact same time - is a rematch of last year’s final. Carlos Alcaraz has match points over Struff at the very same minute as Jannik, but loses all three of them and extends the match another half hour or so, eventually winning it 6-3 6-7 7-6. Daniil comfortably wins the clay hater battle 7-6 6-4, and Bublik seems perfectly fine with it. In a strange occurrence of two varying levels of servebots on clay, Taylor Fritz beats Hurkacz 7-6 6-4 (including a very predictable tiebreak). Perhaps the strangest of all, Félix takes out Casper Ruud, the man who would marry clay if he could, 6-4 7-5.
And now to the quarterfinals. Think these matches have predictable outcomes? Wrong! Only Taylor manages to emerge as the favorite who wins, beating Cerundolo 6-1 3-6 6-3, an American servebot into clay masters semis. Meanwhile, Jannik withdraws entirely, giving Félix yet another walkover. In what may be the calmest match of his career, Andrey Rublev beats Carlos 4-6 6-3 6-2, ending his Madrid title streak. And, Daniil retires against Jiri Lehecka.
So, the semifinals no one expected. Andrey dispatches Fritz 6-4 6-3 after they traded breaks in the opening two games. And Félix receives yet another walkover when Lehecka retires a few games into the match. Yes, he received not one, not two, but three walkovers en route to the final.
In the end, though, Andrey wins it and claims a second masters title. So, that’s the end of the story, right? No, because in his interviews afterwards, Andrey reveals that he has been extremely sick for the entirety of the tournament and that he could barely sleep or eat. A bizarre yet fitting end to this strange tournament.
