maybe sometime I really will go into more detail about how inaccurately Houses handled recruits for the Lions besides for on this post (like for more depth), but the fact that you can recruit Sylvain outside the Lions in Houses is absolutely NUTS. the whole flirting with girls thing is so superficial and he knows it, so the whole idea of him joining any house because of the option of Byleth being female is super lame (even if Byleth was male he wouldn’t). his loyalty to Dimitri, Felix, Ingrid, and Faerghus itself would never allow for him to take up arms against his family group of friends or his home. he just wouldn’t.

I’m actually very happy that Hopes doesn’t allow any of the Lions to be recruited outside AG besides for Mercedes (not loytal to Faerghus) and Ashe (who you could argue Lonato with and the fact that he would just want to survive and surrender to any enemy because he needs to survive to take care of his little siblings). Only those two have reasons to be recruited whereas none of the other people in Faerghus would ever ever ever take up arms like that against their own family, friends and homeland.

I mean it’s literally basic Faerghus facts that it’s a country of extremely loyal people. they’re not loyal to their customs, just ingrained in them and Dimitri is working to carefully change any toxic customs or issues while making sure it doesn’t cause any problems that could harm the citizens (like riots and shit). they have customs that can change, but their loyalty to their home and each other is part of who they are as people.

just because they’re willing to die for their country doesn’t make them all the nonsensible shit that Edelgard and Hubert say about them. Edelgard says shit like how she can’t understand why they die for their homeland instead of surrendering and choosing to live because she’s so narrow mindedly focus on the Crest system that she literally believes Faerghus is just trying to defend its old ways and stay trapped in them.

it’s literally not. it’s a country that will fight to protect its freedom from invaders and will die for their honor, loyalty and everyone and everything they love. they don’t die to protect their systems. they fight because they aren’t willing to be overthrown. Edelgard should have known that with how long they’ve been fighting Sreng away from its borders. Faerghus is full of VERY PROUD people and you can’t just walk in with an army and go “hey so I’m here to overthrow your country and destroy your systems and throw your people in power out of power”. they’re not just gonna be like oh no how scary it’s an army. they’re gonna say bitch fuck you and your whole ass army you’re gonna have to kill us to take this country.

yeah, they’re used to their systems, but the people also recognize that Sreng has been kept away thanks to the Lance of Ruin and the Gautier family’s Crest’s power. until they’re able to find a new way to manage that, they can’t just toss the system out the window. they need a plan first and then they need to find a way to initiate that. you also can’t just change things overnight and expect the populace to be cool with it. there’s a reason it’s taking longer for Faerghus to have huge changes, and it’s because Dimitri knows how to run a country. it’s because he knows the people he needs to worry about and please are the people themselves.

tl;dr the Lions are way too fucking loyal to ever leave Faerghus. Felix is also like that and him being a tsundere character doesn’t change that. him not knowing how to handle talking to Dimitri, who he shows worry about in a very aggressive and roundabout way, is not him actually hating Dimitri and wanting to leave Faerghus behind. his issues with Dimitri also don’t extend to Faerghus itself, so even if they couldn’t find common ground again (which they do), Felix would not leave Faerghus because his country has nothing to do with their personal issues. if he didn’t like something Dimitri did as a ruler, he’d want to be there as someone who can borrow Dimitri’s ear and give him advice to help him. he would not just walk away and be like oh well I guess Faerghus is fucked. he’d work to help fix the problem.

while I understand the overall reason for Houses letting you recruit basically anyone, I know it’s also a common thing that people mention how much of an asspull the dialogue is for the characters’ reason for turning on their homeland. it’s one of those things where you can’t reasonably recruit them as a real story-based ally because it messes with their core character. in the case of Hopes, it at least handles the recruit problem for the Lions waaaay better.

like... if this universe was real, you would not be recruiting them to another country’s side in war. you just wouldn’t because you couldn’t. it’s like trying to pull a single brick out of a solid brick wall with just your hands and nails. y’ain’t doin’ it.

❥ though it may not look like it, he also wants to be praised by you so please do it. he becomes the happiest man in the empire, or rather, the world, when you compliment him. whether it be his looks, his intelligence, or anything else.

❥ reading together is also something you both do together! especially when it comes to books about magic in general. if you don't know much of it, felix would tell you anything you wanted to know. just watching the awed expressions you make fuels his desire to keep learning to wow you even more.

❥ felix so perfect that you never expect him to be yandere at all. he's so meticulous in a way that you will never see his 'ugly' side of him. anyone who bothers you, felix will take care of them properly. after all, coming from a wealthy, reputable, and influential family, no one would dare point their finger at him.

❥ as the devil in him begin to emerge, he found himself struggling to keep the perfect facade with sinful temptations. and suddenly, he ached to know what your body would be like beneath his, what you taste like, how certain he was that he could make you scream his name for the empire to hear. he wanted to keep you all for himself and just hide you away from the world.

Ezhno Nies ArcCoil

Ezhno doesn't play many mobile games that aren't one handed, so he wouldn't have a lot of experience playing. On a computer, it's a little different, but generally still the same rules applies. He actually prefers playing imposter, since it's less buttons to focus on, and he's surprisingly good at it. He's silent in chatting and allows others to give alibis. Unless it's voice chat, then he actually talks. On crewmate, he's DEFINITELY the last one to get his tasks done, even in ghost form. It's just difficult for him to move fast.

Keegan Moore

Keegan isn't a fan of Among Us, since he just hates lying. If he does play, he prefers crewmate, as he likes to focus on tasks. He is the type of person to ignore dead bodies right beside him and get accused of being imposter and getting voted out. Generally pretry quiet in chat, since he's not good at communicating, same thing with voice chat. If he does get imposter, there's a 50/50 shot of him leaving the game and entering a new lobby. Only time he doesn't is with friends, but you can TELL he's imposter, since he votes himself to leave.

Malli Till

Oh, lord, do NOT give this boy imposter. He likes playing Among Us, and tries to play both sides of it, but he likes being crewmate and sneaking around. Being the imposter is anxiety inducing to him, especially if his partner leaves the game, or it's a single-imposter game. He's more chatty in game than he is in real life, both voice and messages.

Riker Larsen

He'll try to play casually, but ends up getting WAY competitive. He's the type of guy to throw his phone on the bed and scream in anguish like his first born just got killed in front of him at a loss of a very good game. And the go about his day like nothing happened. He likes both roles and takes them both seriously. He's also the guy to start with the questions 'who and where' to the person who found the body.

Joey Garcia

They're the type of person to just do what they're told by the game, silently do it, but throw in false information to cause. chaos. Like, people learn to take her information like a penny in a pocket to a rich man. They just love it. There are some points where they take it seriously, but mostly, just being chaos.

Kyro Davis

Uh.. Kyro doesn't actually know WHAT Among Us is. They've owned a pager or Nokia for most of their life. They have no clue what mobile games actually are. If they did play, they'd just be very confused of what the fuck is happening.

Marc Åström

He doesn't actually have mobile games on his phone, the only game he has is Minesweeper, and a few games that Gremlin has downloaded. He mostly uses his phone for communication, and prefers playing arcade games like pinball, Fix-it Felix, or Pac-Man. He also likes the coin pushers, oddly. But, yeah. Has never touched a console, computer, or mobile game that wasn't a basic.

Damen Michaels

Fucking LOVES playing imposter. Right out the bat. Being able to act sneaky and corner someone to kill them, using doors and lights to his advantage. This boy has developed strategy from playing as imposter so much. Honestly? 9 times out of 10, he's the type of person to make Riker rage, because he's just good at it. He's also good at being crewmate and guessing who the imposter is, but he loves being imposter himself.

"Why are they all in red?" Bella asks

Mingi managed to spin you around so suddenly and heave you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, making you squeal loudly before he ran up the stairs to tag a room.

There were four rooms which would mean three rooms will be used by two people, three in one room. So naturally, Mingi decided he'll be staying in the biggest room with you and Jongho.

"My bag is still downstairs, you know?" You giggled at Mingi as he put you down on the king-sized bed before dropping his bag near the bed.

Mingi kept trying to push Wooyoung's arms and legs off of you and soon Wooyoung was doing the same. Now you're just stuck in the middle of a childish pushing game until you had enough and smack their arms to get them to stop.

"Okay, if you wanna room with me here, you both have to behave or else I'll swap myself with whoever's with Yunho," you told both of them sternly as you stood up to glare at the both of them who are still oh so comfortable on the bed.

Wooyoung smirked at you as he lifts his arms to rest behind his head as support, "damn, never thought my girlfriend can be so hot while nagging," he smugly said.

From the side, Mingi scoffed at Wooyoung's words, "FAKE girlfriend you mean," he said, emphasizing harshly on the word 'fake'. Wooyoung scoffed back at him, "No, REAL girlfriend as of today, we talked about it in the car," he then looked at you, asking for confirmation, "right, (Y/N)?"

Mingi's eyes bulged out at that, shocked to hear the information. He opened his mouth to question you but you raised a hand at him, signalling him to hold it so you can say your piece, "no we didn't Woo, YOU told me what you wanted and I didn't say anything else about the matter because who talks about that in a chat?" you said, rolling your eyes.

Now it was Mingi's turn to have a smug smirk thrown towards Wooyoung. The latter, on the other hand, pouted as he sat himself up. He pulled you close and wrap his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your belly to look up at you with puppy dog eyes, "but I was being sincere... I really did mean what I said and I'm not gonna take it back," his bottom lip jutted out as if to add more effect on his sadness.

You cooed at how adorable he looked, your right hand came forward to cup his cheek and your left hand move to push his hair away from his forehead that fell to his eyes.

Wooyoung was smiling happily at the affection you gave him, he even tightened his arms around you and puckered his lips, wordlessly asking for kisses from you.

Just as you leaned in to peck Wooyoung on his lips, Mingi cleared his throat loudly, making you snap your head at him. He was looking at you with an eyebrow raised, as if questioning you and what you're doing. You rolled your eyes at him and settle on giving Wooyoung a peck on his forehead.

"You know what, Woo, I'm willing to try the whole us being a real thing," you said. Wooyoung's eyes widened and a large smile broke out on his face. He was about to holler out in happiness just as Mingi jumped up into a sitting position, he was about to protest but you beat them both to the punch, "however, that doesn't mean I'm gonna be straight out your real girlfriend, alright? I need time to get used to the real you first," you continued.

Wooyoung groaned before detaching himself from you and letting his body drop back to the bed with a flop. Mingi on the other hand was snickering at Wooyoung, seemingly content with how things went with you two.

You moved to sit on Mingi's lap, which he welcomes by wrapping his own arms around your waist and pulling you flush against him so he could rest his chin on your shoulder. You giggled at Wooyoung's antics, thinking that for someone with his status around campus, he's pretty freaking adorable, "okay, come on, do we have a deal or not?" you asked, nudging his leg with your foot.

The nudged man sat up slightly and squint his eyes at you, "can I still touch you and stuff?" he asked. You were about to answer him when Mingi cut you off, "elaborate on 'stuff', please," he said, his own eyes squinting at Wooyoung.

A smirk bloom on Wooyoung's face, "well... Things boyfriends and girlfriends usually does," he said vaguely. Mingi furrowed his eyebrows at him, "but you both aren't boyfriend and girlfriend," "well technically we are," Wooyoung shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. Mingi cursed under his breath, something along the line of "fucking technicalities,".

Their little banter made you somehow feel a little satisfied. Mingi's protectiveness over you and Wooyoung's persistence is really a sight to behold, it definitely brought a smile to your face.

"Okay, so then our whole 'fake' status is to be dissipated, from now on we are officially two people who are genuinely trying to get to know each other better in hopes that something could happen," you said, smiling at him. There was a nervous energy within the group the whole time they were in Alfheim. The men felt weird with Loki there and Loki felt weird with the warrior lady always hovering around.
