https://www.tumblr.com/thephantomcasebook/716821484228706304/dyana-returning-for-s2-and-possibly-being-involved?source=share I would like to read your thoughts on this post. Is it true that viserys ii put a taboo on the name of her parents? Besides Luke was sending as a messenger, Aemond was not to kill him, and Luke's dragon had no chance against Aemond's dragon. And in what part does Martin establish that blacks are the villains?
*EDITED POST* 10/23/23
I'm just going to be rude (not targeting you, though). Everything this user says, ignore it, it's bullshit. Not just in this post, I mean, everything.
For how Aegon III and Viserys II, why didn't declare Rhaenyra to be a legitimate monarch to be historically called "Rhaenyra I" (despite the multiple times she's called "Queen" or "the queen" in Fire and Blood-vol 1, esp after she takes KL), look to this POST. There was no damn "taboo", this is a gross exaggeration, no, a LIE about the situation. Possibly a self-delusion born from an inability to use deductive reasoning.
Being a villain or antagonist is a position that doesn't change, and I'm not referring to plot twists...twists does not shake off the reality of a smart villain or antagonists working against the protagonist or MCs in the shadows. All villains are antagonists, not all antagonists are morally bankrupt or "too far gone" like a villain.
First, protagonist =/= "good person". It just means "who's fighting for something against them/who is this story about". The antagonist(s) is the force/figures set against the protagonist, and thus they do not have to be "good" nor "bad". However, the Dance's protagonist is Rhaenyra. It is written about her rise, endurance, and fall.
Second, while a character can be dark, turn dark, or be an anti-hero, for a writer to try to actually make THE protagonist THE villain or the antagonist, the actual antagonist would have to also become the protagonist and the entire story will have become entirely different in themes, etc. Thus, you cannot establish the greens as protagonists or the "good guys" bc they are neither the winner, the person in the morally superior position, NOR who the Dance of the Dragons is about or whose struggle the Dance narrates.
The villains AND antagonists of the Dance are the greens. While the blacks have members who are not good people (classist, misogynist, etc.), they are leagues better than the greens and are meant to be their foils where one highlights the other's qualities to reveal the differing qualities between them. An example is how Daemon, while having beaten an adult messenger, AEMOND is the one to kill a young boy acting as an envoy who never reached Westerosi majority (16) because he felt like it. The same boy also happened to be Aemond's nephew, which includes kin slaying, something Daemon didn't do until Lucerys was murdered.
Even though I am sure Daemon would have no trouble killing Aemond and the rest of his green Targ family if he could get away with it before any green tried for him and Rhaenyra or their own, the point I am making is that the greens are misogynist, classist, etc x100. And they (aside from Jaehaerys I, he's long term and Viserys I, he made many stupid decisions for his daughter) short term caused the Dance.
Finally, yes, Lucerys had absolutely no chance of surviving Vhagar nor Aemond, since:
Aemond has a deep grudge not just about the eye, but bc he sincerely believed that the Velaryon boys had no right over him to the throne and thinks them inherently lesser, so their being heirs and ahead of him in the succession line troubles his identity/aristocratic masculinity -> this fueled him to pursue Luke when he absolutely didn't have to, and to the detriment and horror of Alicent/Otto/the green cause
Vhagar is the biggest living dragon at this point in time and is battle-hardened/experienced
Luke went out expecting to be safe bc his envoy/status, so he was totally unprepared
Luke was 14 when he did and didn;t seem trained in fighting w/a dragon -- unprepared
This wasn't a fight, it was an execution.

Does Gerald actually love his family or does he view him as an inconvenience and just using them to survive. ( I’m heavily leaning for the former but I have to be honest Gerald inner thoughts are giving me mixed messages) love your work cant wait to see more
https://youtu.be/AWbeGa_QaDE
(Music to listen to if you want)
Gerald: ‘Day 15 since my arrival at this square shaped den. Silver Eyes has allowed me to continue my existence another day. Lately I’ve been noticing that Silver Eyes seems to take enjoyment in his presence here with her. The question that bothers him is... why?’
Gerald looks up at the flying throne of the Silver Eyes. She was the one who had taken him from the woods and bring him to this mysterious place. Originally he assumed she wished to torture him or make a spectacle of him in front of her other Demon followers. He tried to escape from her grasp the first day he arrived but alas his teeth and claws have been deformed since his emergence. He should have been killed by now he had seen so many of his kin destroyed by other Demons like Silver Eyes.
Yet he continues to be.
Silver Eyes had chosen not to slay him like other Demons would mostly have done, that was the natural order of this world. Instead she wrapped his form with her scarlet wind catcher, she made him a smaller den all to himself inclined with furs that felt like nothing he’s ever experienced, takes him into the white heaven every so often to clean his fur in her personal lake that is contained in a white rock. Even the Rabbit King, who he originally thought would be the one to smite him, gave him nourishment with the sweet taste of the red elixir that he could never obtain due to his lack of claws. These Beings were so different from other Demons that he’s learned about from his kin. Silver Eyes seemed to be unwilling to end his existence and seek to take solace in his presence.
It was a concept that confused him greatly. Why keep him around? Was he a trophy of some sort? Is it a tradition for them to take the weakest of his kind and keep him as a prisoner of some sort? Why take him of all Ursa, there are far greater and bigger Ursa that are much worthwhile than him.
That is why the others casted him out after all. If you could not feed yourself, then you would not survive. No one would take care of you and no one would give you shelter or make you strong. His own kin gave him about a moon cycle before he would either starve or be slain. He was an outcast, a early emerged Ursa, a weakling who would not survive by himself. That’s why he accepted his fate when Silver Eyes first found him, he knew he was finished.
Gerald: *laid down on his belly and made saddened Ursa noises*
He didn’t wished to be born this way, he wanted to be big and strong like the other Grimm, but that wasn’t meant to be. He wished he could understand why he was born imperfect, why he was born small and with small claws and teeth. Was his existence supposed to be a mistake? He would’ve thought more about this but he hears the approaching steps of Silver Eyes. Perhaps this would be the night she slays him, which he honestly would fight over.
Ruby: “Gerald..? What’s wrong?”
He looked up at the Silver Eyes, she looked directly at him with a strange expression. True, her kind had many strange expressions but this was one he hasn’t seen before. No sooner than that he feels her grab his form and bring him into her arms in a nesting position. She slides her hand along his fur multiple times while swaying side to side, but this time she did not say anything. Normally this be the part where she starts making comments about his size and how she would like to crush or ‘hug’ as he’s learning what she calls it. That’s when suddenly he feels a strange sensation of her bringing her mouth to his head plate and rests them on it.
It made him feel... warm.
For many days now, he started noticing that whenever he’s around Silver Eyes or Rabbit King or whenever they hold him close to him he begins to have this warm feeling throughout his body. It was like nothing he’s ever felt before during his time in the woods. Being with his kin never made him feel this way, nor did caves ever feel like this, it was only with her and Rabbit King. Albeit, Silver Eyes would hold him like this more often than he, but he was warm as well. What was it that made him feel this way.
Ruby: “It’s ok Gerald, you can sleep with me tonight.”
Not long after that he finds himself laying beside Silver Eyes on her flying throne as she covers him in one of those flat furs and holds his tiny form close to her form. Her breathing was steady and the bottom of her face was nestled on top of his face plate. It was here that Gerald felt a the warmest than he’s ever felt in his entire existence.
He liked the warmth... it felt good.
His kin said that the Demons were banes of his kind, and yet he’s met two that have shown more care than any of his kin ever showed him.
Where he was cast, out they took him in.
Where he was homeless, they made him one.
Where he was hungry, they feed him milk and elixir.
Gerald: *licks Silver Eyes’ bare arm*
He may never know why these strange Demons decided to bring him into their den, but right now he would not want to be any place else.

BTS Members as the Sons of Feanor
OH MY GOSH WHAT THE HECK
so @thelonelybrilliance just showed up late to the Silmarillion and new to BTS and she decided to break my brain by tagging me and @abadpoetwithdreams asking us if we could match up the 7 members of BTS with the 7 sons of Feanor. May she never ask such a question again because I have spent about 6 hours total writing this rant essay that is somewhere of abouts 3500 words. I don’t have the self-control to stop myself from things like this, I love Tolkien and BTS too much
anyway here is a very long and rambling post that was partially composed in my head in the shower and is now just stream of consciousness
(Disclaimer: The members of BTS are beautiful souls and this post is in no way saying that they are as murderous as my problematic faves the sons of Feanor)
ok so the only thing I know for ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN is that Namjoon is Maedhros. if you know anything at all about BTS and the Feanorians, the reasons are obvious:
1. Namjoon is the tallest, and Maedhros is literally called Maedhros the Tall.
2. Maedhros has a lot of names but he was called Maitimo by his mom which means “beautiful” or “well-shaped one” and such an appellation is perfect for Namjoon (ok let’s be real the name could fit every single member of BTS but whatever)
3. (and most important!) never was there a more harried elf trying to keep his brothers in line and alive and not cut to pieces by some justifiably insulted cousin or Sindarin. Maedhros is the mom, the dad, the king, the leader, the eldest bro. “Guys, can we NOT be rude to the sons of Finarfin, can we NOT start a war among the Noldor when we still have Morgoth just across the way” I’m pretty sure he would also lose his passport multiple times if Middle-earth had such things, because his brothers are hard enough to keep track of. while Namjoon may not be the eldest in years, everything else matches up too perfectly. He is the leader of BTS, the spokesman, the one who encourages the other members to step up and speak, helps them with their English (even when he judges them for their dumb mistakes lol), is literally SO DONE with his bros all the time but loves them so freaking much. He is the planner, the peace-maker, yet also has fire in his veins and has seen a lot of darkness and suffering and survived to become even stronger. So too with Namjoon
(caveat: if BTS were Feanorians, and Namjoon captured by Morgoth himself, there is no freaking way they wouldn’t have done SOMETHING to rescue their fearless leader. Jin and Jungkook would storm Thangorodrim fists swinging, followed by Jimin and J-Hope, fierce like you’ve never seen them, and Taehyung would Luthien Tinuviel Morgoth centuries early, or Yoongi would simply glare at Morgoth till he shrank down into a puddle of trembling goo. Don’t laugh at me you know I’m right)
moving on
I have maybe two choices for Maglor? One is Jin, but that might partially be because everyone always talks about how Namjoon and Jin are the mom and dad or dad and mom of BTS. and Maglor is always paired in my head with Maedhros as the other parental figure of the Feanorian bros, though that might be because of how he and Maedhros look after Elrond and Elros. Of course, I love Jin’s singing and I will never ever ever be over “Epiphany”, so I am way cool with making Jin Maglor as far as the music thing goes
All this said, I am not sure if this is the best fit overall. Jin is the King of Chaos in BTS, and I wouldn’t name Maglor as such...also I think I might have another Feanorian for Jin, but I’ll get to that later (spoilers, it’s...Curufin??!) (oh no, I just realized I might have one other argument for Jin being Maglor: “I use other people to make myself happy. I make myself smile by making others smile.” Like, that could be a good quote for Maglor potentially, if you want to relate it to his music, or his care for Elrond and Elros……..but I’m still thinking Curufin for Jin. Stay tuned)
So anyway my other option for Maglor would be...oh heck no I have two other options. No wait THREE. What the HECK. ok let me figure this out. The options are J-Hope, Yoongi, and Jimin. I’m not even sure why yet so let’s find out. (sidenote: if Maedhros did not exist Namjoon the song-writer would be Maglor, as the greatest poet and bard)
1.  J-Hope as Maglor: I don’t know, I had reasons but they are escaping me. Maglor is said to have had a gentler temperament than his brothers and I would say J-Hope has a very soft sunshine heart. I guess one thing is that Maglor was left to hold everybody together when Maedhros was captured by Morgoth, and if Namjoon was ever hung on a cliff for an indeterminate amount of time or whatever equals that in our world, J-Hope would step up. I keep seeing things about how he supports the other members when they are having tough times, giving them encouragement and food and love. He leads them in practicing dance choreography all the time, and if I remember I am pretty sure Namjoon actually stated that Hoseok would make a good group leader.
Also one time Namjoon was talking about Hobi (oh shoot, should J-Hope of the many names be Maedhros of the many names? Lol maybe in that one universe where Namjoon is Maglor, then Hobi could could be Maedhros) Namjoon says that J-Hope is like water (where did Maglor toss his Silmaril again hmm?) and puts people at ease. Well idk about other people but Maglor seems to have put Elrond and Elros at ease because even after that whole Kinslaying thing “love grew between them as little might be thought.” I too would probably come to love J-Hope no matter the past between us. He is just that sweet and soft-hearted
2.  Yoongi as Maglor: ok honestly I really really actually want Yoongi for Caranthir, more on that later. However I also like Yoongi as Maglor because it is unexpected, yet certain things just feel right. I keep thinking about Yoongi’s “First Love” where he raps about how his PIANO was his first love (GOSH ISN’T THAT THE SWEETEST THING EVER) also in Lee Sora’s “Song Request” he raps this: “I’m happiness to someone and the soul to another / A lullaby to someone and at times a noise / I’ll be with you at your birth and your end / Remember we’re always together anywhere / I’ll always console your life / So just lean on me and rest sometimes” and LOOK I JUST DIED TYPING THIS but what I am getting at is music is burnt into Yoongi’s soul as I think it is Maglor’s, and Yoongi really is very soft and loving and also one time Namjoon said that Yoongi “makes me ponder about what kind of person I am” and Maglor several times is a voice of reason and very much tries to dissuade Maedhros from going after the Silmarils one last time. Idk it could work (but also...CARANTHIR) (BUT ALSO OMG YOONGI’S VOICE MURDERS ME WHEN HE RAPS AND HIS PASSION WOW AND NOW I AM PICTURING MODERN DAY MAGLOR RAPPING  OBLIQUELY ABOUT HIS FAMILY AND PAST AND PAIN UGGGGGGGHHHH
3.  Who was my other choice? Right, Jimin. Why did I say Jimin?? ? i don’t remember, dang it
Ok I think it is definitely time to do Caranthir.
As previously stated, I love Yoongi as Caranthir. I have my reasons personally I think they are very good reasons :D Ok Caranthir is WOW ok I am OFFENDED because I just went to double-check something on wikipedia and I typed Caranthir into the Google search engine and the first three results were all about this Caranthir dude from the Witcher, and while that game seems very interesting I am UPSET for Yoongi’s I mean Caranthir the Dark’s sake.
AHEM
Caranthir the Dark. What a name. I mean it might just be a reference to his father-name of Morifinwe and to his hair, but he is also described as being the harshest and quickest to anger. Yoongi, bless his soul and his actually very soft and squishy heart, is well known for: being unbothered by BTS general antics, for being the one to sit back and watch everyone else do dumb stuff (like when they were all dancing to MIC drop and he just walks away from them, or when they are all acting like kids jumping in the pool and he just watches with a smile on his face while drinking a glass of wine and look to me Caranthir is the one Feanorian who doesn’t pair up with anyone in particular, like we have Maedhros and Maglor, Celegorm and Curufin, Amrod and Amras, but Caranthir is the one who goes off and lives separate from them and
GOSH now I sound so dumb because I am NOT trying to say that Caranthir doesn’t love his bros or that Yoongi is a loner that is NOT what I am saying, agh I mean Caranthir is great (minus, you know, the kin-slayings the Feanorians sadly fall into) and even befriends Haleth’s people and protects them, t’s just this weird categorizing thing in my head, that Caranthir is the crusty brother, and while he loves his bros to DEATH and they him, the majority of his bros are sliiiiightly afraid of him, in a brotherly way, like how the members are with Yoongi! Like just recently oh what was it, they were on a BTS Run episode and someone had to splash or otherwise give Yoongi a penalty and right away everyone was like NAMJOON YOU DO IT. turning to the leader hyung because they don’t want Yoongi to be mad at them
Of course now I am remembering that one post of gifs demonstrating how Jungkook is the only one who can bother Yoongi without dying lol except NOW I am picturing Amrod the youngest Feanorian* being the only one who can bother Caranthir and then the ensuing PAIN because Amrod Umbarto (thanks for THAT name, Mom) perishes (in certain canon) in flames at the Burning of the Ships and wowwww no I do not need any of this pain
*SIDENOTE: AMROD IS THE YOUNGEST IN CERTAIN CANON WHICH CONFUSES THINGS A HECK OF A LOT SEE THE AMROD AND AMRAS SECTION BELOW
I’m pretty sure I have never rambled so much in my life and also pretty sure I have way too many parentheses and not all of them are closed oops
Anyway, imagine Caranthir as the brother you are afraid of but would die for and who would die for you if anyone looks at you wrong, the brother with the wry acerbic wit, but who LITERALLY LIGHTS UP THE UNIVERSE WITH HIS SMILE AND ALSO DOESN’T EXPRESS HIS LOVE ALOUD AS OFTEN AS SOME OF YOUR BROTHERS DO BUT
HE SECRETLY LOVES PHYSICAL CONTACT AT TIMES AND ALSO SECRETLY LOVES PIGGY-BACK RIDES EVEN THO HE PROFESSES TO HATE THEM AND GIVES OUT WISE LIFE ADVICE TO HIS BROS AND HIS PEOPLE AND IS SUCH A SOFTIE FOR HIS BROS AND OCCASIONALLY SENDS ONE OF HIS BABY BROS LONG LETTERS WITH A SIMPLE “I LOVE YOU” AT THE END THAT HAS CELEGORM OR AMROD CRYING FOR TEN MINUTES (HAHAHA GUESS WHO I THINK TAEHYUNG WOULD BE)
Also someone has to be the best cook of the Feanorians and it might as well be Caranthir
….apparently I’m not done with Caranthir, because “the Dark” also makes me think of a dark horse, or at least something happening that is unexpected, and that reminds me of that interview where dad/mom/interpreter Namjoon was like yeah none of the other members can speak English, and then Yoongi just out of NOWHERE speaks a line of great English and Namjoon was like ….guess I was wrong
OKAAAAY WHERE ARE WE
I do not have very clear thoughts about who the rest of the members are so let’s just go with my brain and hope it makes some good connections
Let’s do Celegorm since I just mentioned him
Celegorm could be either Taehyung or….Jin? :? Merrr idk. Let’s examine
I think the main reason why I jump at the option of Tae for Celegorm is because of Tae’s love for his dog Yeontan, or Tan, and of course Celegorm is the master of Huan, and they had a very special relationship for ages until Celegorm f---ed up. Seriously, you want to see something cute? Look up Tae’s Vlive that is entirely focused on his lil pupper (what am I saying look up ANYTHING about Tae and you will find something cute)
On the other hand Jin could be Celegorm because Celegorm is known as the Fair and if you don’t know by now that Jin is World Wide Handsome I don’t know how I can help you
OMG WAIT I JUST THOUGHT OF OTHER REASONS WHY JIN COULD BE CELEGORM! So Celegorm’s father-name is Turcafinwë, which basically means “strong in body” and Jin has got those broad shoulders (gosh they are so broad). Also, Celegorm’s mother-name is Tyelkormo, or “hasty riser,” referring to his quick temper and habit of leaping when angered. And this doesn’t perfectly relate but the amount of times I have seen Jin yelling or just being wild in general or even just pretending to be mad makes me think of this. Also there was one time idk what was even going on but Jin was struggling to pronounce Bangtansonyeon-dan (SAME) and saying it was too long and difficult and J-Hope was teasing him and Namjoon told him not to get mad since he had been calling himself a fairy and shouldn’t be mad as such, and Jin was like hey I can be a mad fairy if I want lol
See now I am just confused because now I am looking back at Jin as Maglor and I might like that better? WHY IS THIS SO HARD
Speaking of Jin, and Celegorm, why on EARTH was I thinking of Jin for Curufin? Ugggh see my problem is I ran out of time last night and so I am finishing the essay some 20 hours later and I kNOW that when I was saying Jin should be Curufin I had a better reason then their names rhyme. Heck, I could make that same argument for Jimin as Curufin.
Except I also have a second and better argument for Jimin as Curufin, at least under the circumstance where Taehyung is Celegorm. Look, all the BTS members are really close with each other, and you can literally argue all day about who is closer to who (a really pointless waste of time in my opinion I mean why argue when you can just melt over them all being sweet and funny and kind and teasing with each other) but anyway all that aside one thing I love in particular is how sweet Jimin and Taehyung often are with each other, holding hands and comforting each other and being on teams in competitions *starts laughing at the memory of them being complete disasters that one cooking show* and anyway Celegorm and Curufin seem pretty inseparable, running around causing all kinds of trouble (guys sTOP). Jimin and Taehyung have called themselves soulmates, so it makes sense to have them be part of a duo
Not that Taehyung would engage in a kidnapping stunt like Celegorm did, but the point is, Jimin, the precious bby, has Tae’s back
Jimin: “Taehyung is the happiest when he is with me” aww
This has nothing to do with the point of this post but I just need to stop here and say that Jimin is so freaking talented I was just looking up some gifsets of him and obviously his singing is angelic but also OMGGG his dancing!!!
Ok, jumping back slightly, I guess one way Jin could be Curufin is if Jungkook is Celegorm, because I could see those beautiful dorks running around causing all kinds of trouble, except I really have no reason to have Jungkook be Celegorm, especially since he is very much Amras in my head for reasons
OOOH NO I also thought of a way in which Jungkook could be--wait for it--cURUFIN. WHY AM I LIKE THIS
You see, Curufin was his dad’s favorite son and thus Feanor gave his favorite son the exact same father-name Feanor had, Curufinwë, and Curufin is the only son who chose to use his father-name over his mother-name if I recall, and anyway all meaning he probably loved his dad a lot and was proud of his name, and this makes me think of how Namjoon gave Jungkook the title of the Golden Maknae and of how freaking much Jungkook looks up to and respects Namjoon (look while Namjoon is a hyung, he is also a dad figure, so he may as well be Feanor and Maedhros both)
I guess if Jungkook were Curufin, Jin could go back to being Celegorm
Aaaaggggh you do not know how much hair I have pulled out this is taking a lot of brainwork
FINALLY AT THE LAST TWO
We now present my exceedingly confused ramblings regarding the twins Amrod and Amras. Before we begin, let me SHAKE MY FIST AT TOLKIEN FOR MAKING THIS ESSAY EVEN MORE CONFUSING TO WRITE
See, I had Jungkook all set up in my head as Amras, the youngest son according to the Silmarillion. Jungkook is the maknae, the baby, and all the members DOTE on him and he loves them and respects them and pesters them and it’s great, so yeah Jungkook has to be Amras the baby of the Feanorians. I would then put Taehyung as Amrod, the just barely older bby who the other members also adore and protect. Jungkook and Taehyung are SO FREAKING CUTE whenever they are doing stuff together, whether it is singing or hugging or holding each other on their backs while they singing. When they goof off together or pester each other, they are the most precious, must dorkiest dorks to ever be my faves. Hence why I pair them together in my head as Amrod and Amras, at least the times when I am not pairing Tae with Jimin or Jungkook with Jin. Amrad and Amras seem as inseparable as Celegorm and Curufin, and they go off and live in some beautiful wild part of the land and basically stick to hunting and staying out of everyone’s business until they get reminded they took a stupid oath
EXCEPT then Tolkien has one alternate writing where the youngest is actually AMROD and Amrod dies at the burning of the ships because Feanor doesn’t know how to count his kids I guess (Namjoon you lost something again) (sorry that is a terrible joke) (but is it made slightly better by the fact that while Namjoon is apparently Feanor he is much more Maedhros, who was against the burning of the ships and did not participate?) so like this is where I started to get my third headache (exacerbated by the fact that I haven’t eaten dinner yet and it is 9 pm what is wrong with me) because then I have to make Jungkook Amrod and Taehyung Amras. It’s such a trial having to write both their names next to both Feanorians
On the other hand, an interesting thing to think about is that in this alternate writing, Amras was so aggrieved by his brother’s death that he called out Feanor--Feanor!--for being so dumb as to A. call or let his wife call their youngest by the name of Umbarto (the Fated) and then to B. accidentally let him perish in a fire that FEANOR started because he had a grudge (and I think Tolkien wrote that that Amrod was possibly sleeping on the ships because he was upset with Feanor for the terrible deeds he was committing, so like, double way to go Feanor)
I am really tired and hungry my head hurts
What am I missing?
I like Taehyung and Jungkook best for Amrod and Amras a lot BUT if I were doing one of the other options above, I could see having the follow lineup:
Jin=Celegorm, Jungkook= Curufin, Jimin=Amrod, Taehyung=Amras
In this instance, I could see Jimin and Tae as either Amrod or Amras no matter which one is older. Taehyung could definitely be the bby and do his own thing but could also be the brother who mourns his brother and calls out Feanor. Actually though Jimin while being young and precious gives me more of an older brother vibe than Taehyung does, so I guess I would have Jimin be the elder of the twins. Yes, that makes more sense
UGH but wait if I put Jimin and Tae as Curufin and Celegorm, I could put Jungkook back as youngest bby Amrod or Amras, but would Jin fit into the older twin role? Maaaaybe, if you just think about Jungkook and Jin heading off by themselves and goofing off...I don’t like it as much though
Possibilities So Far
Maedhros: Namjoon, maybe J-Hope?
Maglor: Jin, J-Hope, Yoongi, maybe Namjoon
Caranthir: Yoongi
Celegorm: Taehyung, Jin
Curufin: Jimin, Jungkook
Amrod: Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin
Amras: Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin
……………………….
I have spent five minutes now trying to figure out possible final line-ups but it’s all a mess
I  LITERALLY CAN’T THINK ANYMORE
I DECLARE THIS ESSAY/RANT HAS COME TO AN END
PLEASE CHELSEA SEND HELP!
WHAT AM I MISSING/HAVE WRONG? IS THERE A BETTER SPOT FOR J-HOPE? SHOULD SOMEONE ELSE BE CARANTHIR? COULD JIN BE A CARANTHIR IN SOME WAY?? (I THINK I COULD HAVE THOUGHTS ABOUT THAT BUT I AM TOO TIRED TO THINK THEM)

Side Story: Dragon Slayers
Have your adventurers collected loads of dragons blood? Are their bags of holding drooping heavily with the life force of wyrms? Do they have enough viles of dragons blood to fill several casks? Why not sell it to a charismatic rich person!
If your campaign has a lot of dragons, even wyvrns and non true dragons, in it and your players keep collecting blood when they do survival checks to harvest the body, perhaps add a new twist to the campaign:
A charismatic rich noble in the neighboring town has heard of their most recent conquest of slaying a dragon and invites them over for a dinner in their honor. He has a lovely estate, there are several pseudo dragons that frolic in the foyer as you enter. Before dinner they take you to the garden to show you their collection: a captive flock of faerie dragons in an oversized aviary, a mated pair(s) of wyvern tending to their brood within a large crater with a chained net over top and several cages housing various Drake’s. The drakes and the faerie dragons don’t seem too intelligent, almost more like mere pseudo dragons or beasts (if any player has experience with dragons this may strike them as odd)
A small fleet of wyvern riders patrol the grounds, the drakes patrol the grounds at night. The guards aren’t your typical rider, they’re more refined and uniform in appearance and bear the sigil of a dragon profile on their armor and shields. The wyverns also adorn metal armor (+2 to AC). The drakes almost seem feral in their behavior, your host tells you not to leave the house at night for your own safety (detect magic reveals the drakes and faerie dragons have been subjected to a feeble minded spell so much it’s practically permanent)
There are dragon skulls lining the entrance to their estate and large monoliths and statues to the great beasts through out the property. Around the perimeter of the estate are humanoids with dragon heads, but not dragon born. Literally just humans with a head, like they’d taken two different dolls and stitched them together for the model (they’re golems). His prized artifacts of his collection is the shell of a huge dragon turtle hanging over the mantle of a large fireplace in the dining hall. (If you have Tome of Beasts, there is one Dragonleaf tree in the back of the estate encircled by stone, the characters may notice a crèche under its roots but the host heeds them not to go near it, informing them of its nature)
Over dinner he tells you his story. He is a ranger who specializes (favored enemy) in dragon hunting and trapping. Over the years he’s amazed a huge wealth from the great dragons he’s slain and the money he’s profited from the Draco kin he’s captured, bred and sold. He has the largest breeding population of faerie dragons in the lands! He even managed to create the first recorded hybrid of a faerie dragon and a pseudo dragon, which looks like a pseudo dragon with prismatic scales and dwarf (barely functional) butterfly wings that fawns over him like a house cat.
After dinner he invites you to stay the night. In the night one or more of your players hear an anguished scream that is neither human nor draconic but a mix of both. They leap out of bed and investigate where the shriek originated from, which leads them to the dining room. (No amount of investigation will reveal the hidden room behind the fireplace yet, this is simple precursor)
The next morning the host says he hopes they slept well. If they bring up the noise they heard, he’ll pass it off as the wyverns getting frisky or one of the drakes being hungry. An insight check will show he’s trying to hide something but not sure what. He then asks the party if they’re interested in a business opportunity. He informs the party that he’s actually followed them before an come across their most recent kill, noticing they’ve harvested the blood from it and mostly likely of many great beasts. He says he’ll buy it off them. If asked, he’ll inform them he uses it to nurture young dragons to aid in training them (they need a HIGH insight check to see if this is a lie. It’s half true, what he says is correct but not his only reasoning)
A. If they say yes, he’ll throw another feast in their honor and invite some of his other ranger friends over. The banquet will be in two days (third day of their stay)
B. If they say no he’ll extend his welcome to them for a week or so while they recover from their most recent adventure (they can’t leave. Attempting to do so causes Wyvern guards to descend on them and drake protectors to block their exits. Even stone golems with dragon heads will stop them. Too daunting for a fight)
Regardless of which choice they chose, he remains courteous to them. On the second day, the party is free to roam around. They may come across a section that has been sealed off by magical means. They may observe various estate hands using wands of feeble mind on the drakes and faerie dragons, if asked they’ll say it’s to keep them tame and in check. If they chose option B his friends will still show up and give them a distasteful greeting, as if the party had offended them somehow. There will be a social mixer on the third day of their stay (essentially the banquet but not in their honor) and most will give the party a cold shoulder, but a drunk wizard might let talk to them. If they chose A the guests will introduce themselves. Aside from rangers there are several arcane practicioners, speaking to any of them reveal they have great reverence for dragons both out of admiration and fear, but they’re respectful (the drunk wizard will play this role). There are members of various races but you don’t see a single Dragonborn around you (the characters will note this if Dragonborn are somewhat common in the campaign)
During the mixer/dinner, the pseudodragon hybrid will get the attention of one of the party members (if any party member brought up the screams they heard and express concern, the dragon will seek this member out) and guide them to a closed of section of the house. It will then speak, for the first time the characters have seen at least, a draconic command word and the door will open. Inside the room is a vast library encircling a statue of a great dragon (an insight check will reveal its an adult red dragon given the horn structure). On the desk will be open books and various manuscripts. All of them relating to humanoid dragons: Kobold, Dragonborn and many references to half dragons. (If you have the dragonleaf part, the winow outside shows the tree in plain view)
At this point the host enters the library. He says the skeleton is the first dragon he ever slayed, a fearsome red dragon named Gargalorix. He gives the story of how the beast burned his village, slew and ate his family and wrecked havoc on the countryside for a decade. He feared and respected Gargalorix, and almost seems to refer to him in awe. After that day he started adventuring and became a ranger, killing a handful of young dragons he eventually returned to his old home and single handedly slew Gargalorix. From then on he cast aside his adventuring party and took up the mantle of dragonsbane before retiring. He says he kept the skeleton as a token to the night and power of the great dragon. He says he didn’t hate Gargalorix, he envied him. All that power, the fiery blood that coursed through the beasts veins. He then says “that’s how I founded the brotherhood of dragonkin”.
He then explains that the brotherhood is a secret society that operates under the radar among circles of the ranger community. They fund the society (it’s totally a cult but he won’t use that word himself) from their domination of the great lizards. Their goal is to become like the dragons. They resent Dragonborn, saying they don’t deserve the blood coursing through the veins. They believe Dragonborn take their gift for granted and are unappreciative of the power they come from. Suddenly other members of the cult enter the room and the single character is abducted effortlessly and quietly (perhaps several members used a sleep spell or hold person, making it impossible to do a save since there were multiple attackers on one target). The hybrid dragon cowers in the corner than leaves out an open window, taking with it a crystal ball that it’s master doesn’t see as he’s preoccupied with the party member.
The other players are unaware of what has transpired. They notice the host leave but the other guests seem to crowd around them and strike up conversations (if they chose option B this seems weird, almost as if their entire disposition has changed). The host tells the party some lie about the party member that is pretty believable (make this unique to your campaign of course). If they persist with questions on their party member, a being identical to the party member arrives (it’s a doppelgänger the host has hired). If they keep persisting they will be knocked out similarly. If they chose option B they’ll be knocked out before the doppelgänger arrives.
Either they will retire on their own free will to their rooms or they will wake up there after being knocked out. If they chose B, the doppelgänger will make its debut in their room as their companion and say they got sick after the party and hallucinated. The double then leaves. Their dragons blood is gone by this point if they chose B. Either way they’ll be left in the room.
The hybrid dragon will appear at the window, knocking with its head. In its hands the crystal ball. Once let inside, it will hold up the crystal ball and using telepathy tell them all to touch. When they do, his eyes will flash and they will see the events that transpired in the library through his eyes (the crystal ball is using his memory, a modification of detect thoughts)
When they exit the room, the double will be there. Then behind them in the hallway another double. In total, 2-4 doppelgängers appear and the first wave of the battle begins. Once they slay the doubles they’ll notice none of the other guests are present. The hybrid dragon will be at the end of the hallway and call to them in draconic.
Inside the dining hall will be the hybrid dragon by the fireplace. As they approach, suits of armor (with dragon effigies and horns) will animate and attack. If your players are high enough level, perhaps replace the suits of armor with drakes. Once they defeat the second wave, the hybrid will speak a draconic word out loud to make the fireplace open to the secret chamber.
At the base of the stairs will be a cultist. He’ll try to flee but the hybrid dragon will use euphoria gas (automatic fail for the cultist). The hallway will have several cells with Dragonborn inside. They’ll tell the party that they were all kidnapped and some have been killed, drained of their blood before being fed to the wyverns. One of them is in special shackles, he’s a cleric of bahamut and his shackles are preventing him from using his spells. He says the hybrid dragon has kept in contact with him and while the details are fuzzy explains what the cult wants to do: bathe in dragons blood to become half dragons.
C. The players leave the prisoners in their cells
D. The players release the prisoners
Whichever choice they chose, a Dragonborn will be revealed to be a doppelgänger and either attack the players or warn the rest of the cult (depends on your players level).
Eventually the players will be recaptured again (you decide how). The host will reveal his plan to all of them, then monologue about the greatness of dragon kind. You’ll see some cultist who have draconic features but not fully, which the host tells you is because they experimented with using Dragonborn blood or that of non true dragons like wyvern, dragon turtles and drakes. Around him will be pools of blood, corresponding to the types of dragons the party has killed and collected blood from (and a dragon idol will be placed by the pool the same color as the color of the dragon who’s blood is within the pool).
As members of the cult begin chanting, the host and various high ranking members will disrobe, showing tattoos with draconic writing and dragon patterns. They will then enter the bath. The cult leader will enter a pool with a red dragon idol next to it, regardless of the fact if the players had killed a red dragon or not. He will then emerge as a half dragon and all the cultists will bow as he begins monologing. He says him and his half dragon brothers will now chose dragon names, dubbing himself Neogalorix. As the cultists are distracted, the hybrid dragon reappears (it used minor illusion to disguise itself as a box) and quickly brings the party members the keys to their shackles.
A fight will break out. If the characters willingly sold the blood, chosing option A, some cult members who transformed to half dragons will escape, they’ll be reoccurring characters now (should have at least one for every chromatic color, but mix and match as you please). If they refused to sell it, the will remain for the fight. This reinforces that their actions have consequences and even their choice in sales can have massive effects.
If they chose option D and released the cleric of bahamut, he will heal as many living Dragonborn as possible and then cast greater restoration on as many drakes as possible, then as many faerie dragons as possible. The fight might take place outside. If you have the dragonleaf tree, that tree belonged to Gargalorix and when the leader stands under it it will ally itself with you, as it’s mast was slain and it has disdain for the mockery of dragonkind that the cult created. The wyvern guards are mostly unaware of what he cult is up to and may or may not help the leader. If they flee they’ll be mercenaries and reoccurring characters. If the characters chose A and sold the blood, the Hybrid dragon will depart on its own to the nearby woods (it may ally itself with the cleric of bahamut). If the characters chose B, the hybrid will thank them and possibly join them for a short period of time.
The opponents will be rangers, veterans, doppelgängers and cultists. Despite having arcane users present at the party, none will fight (unless your party can take that on).
The statistics for the hybrid dragon are the same as the pseudo dragon, except in addition to fire breath it has euphoria breath and the inate spell casting ability (charisma is its spell casting ability). The spells are minor illusion and color spray. He can speak fluent draconic and sylvan and common, but his telepathy is limited to simple thoughts. He only reveals his fluent language abilities after the battle. The host never knew it was intelligent enough to speak, assuming it was like pseudo dragon more than a faerie dragon. Since he was clever enough to play along, he was never subjected to the feeble minded spell. The cult leader realizes with his dying breath that the hybrid dragon was not only his greatest mastery over dragon kind but also his undoing. The only reason the dragon used the crystal ball was because time was of the essence and explaining it would have taken too long, and it wasn’t sure it trusted the people. The dragon is chaotic good, and speaks I frequently preferring to use body language or telepathy to express feelings and emotions.
The party may inherit the house, depending on their actions the now restored drakes may stay as guards. The faerie dragons will leave and so will the wyvern, but the faerie dragons may lend aid in the future depending on the players actions. The cult had large coffers that the adventurers may loot, included items should be wands of feeble mind and various dragon kin eggs

At Home By Myself (With You)
L’aan decidedly felt that something was off.
He sensed something... A presence he’d not felt since...
He felt his blood turn to ice-water. As quickly the thought crossed his mind, he felt a shift in the atmosphere, coalescing behind him, and whipped around to meet the intruder.
The dark skinned Miqo’te greeted him, all blue eyes, and wicked smile. “Hello, father.”
L’aan’s stomach lurched at the sight of the demon. “Y’hento...” He practically retched the wicked name out. “I saw you die. Your aether burned from existence. How are you here?”
“We both watched him.” He said, simply. “Reason for that being, I am not Y’hento.”
L’aan, still forcing the bile in his throat down, took a proper gaze at the creature. Yes, the resemblance was uncanny, the aether that marked him smelled horribly familiar, but he was distinct from the demon L’aan knew. Hair a complete white, like some ghastly reconstruction of his mother’s, a face structure more like his father’s, scars placed in identical areas, eyes bright and blue like his husband’s...
Like his predecessor, this new creature had taken aspects of the people L’aan cared for the most to build a foundation for his identity.
“For sake in simplicity, I bid you call me... Y’ensid. Yes... That name sounds right. Homage to dear older brother, but something of my own as well...”
“You’re within me? Like he was?”
“Technically, you are now, as well.” He waved a hand to the room. “Within yourself, I mean. This existence you call a dream.”
“Why are you here?” L’aan asked, though he already suspected. He took a defensive stance against the creature. “I won’t let you possess my body. I know what to expect, you won’t control me.”
“Calm yourself, father.” Y’ensid lifted his clawed hands in a pacifying gesture. “No one’s forcing you anything. Not that I could anyroad. Your husband’s ritual made certain of that...”
L’aan’s ears perked curiously. “The Soul-bind?” He pressed a hand to his abdomen, pressing the phantom ache. “The one that closed my aether tear?”
“The one that surrounds your aether with his, yes.” Y’ensid nodded, with a disaffected expression, combing fingers through the ghastly white hair. “None of us can so much as come close to your core anymore, let alone seize control.”
L’aan felt his stomach dropped to his feet. Us? “There’s more of you.” It was more a statement than a question.
“Yes, but rest assured, none of them are as powerful, or as canny as I am. In fact, out of all born in the sea of your soul, t’was only Y’hento who challenged me.” He propped his chin on a fist. “Actually, I should thank Salem. Had he not bound that tear in your aether, I might not of survived brother’s subterfuge...”
He felt sick. After the incident with Y’hento closed, L’aan had assumed his origin was a stray voidsent that he lured with his grief, and trapped within his fears. Bricked in with his heart, to keep from hurting again, until his friends and husband tore down the walls. Learning now that he was a vessel for multiple void creatures... It was insanity. “What are you all? How did you come to me?”
Y’ensid tilted his head, looking thoughtful. “I suppose you need an explanation, yes. Especially for what’s to come...” He took a more serious stance, preparing to explain. “Creatures such as us are not uncommon. Incubus and Succubus that feed on the emotions of mankind. Their desires, their envy, even hatred is something we sup upon...”
“Many would summon us from the void, in exchange for power, knowledge, or yes, even our company.” He scoffed with amusement. “Amazing what brings our kind to this realm... But for us, the ones within you, we were brought upon you for the purpose of conception.”
“Conception?”
“That’s the best term I can think for it...” He shrugged. “From the progenitor, we are given the spark of life. Little more are we, than wisps of thoughtless energies in the void. They are the ones who find hosts for us, ones with strong energies and emotions, that we may form the concept of ‘self’, and from the sea of your soul, we are birthed proper.”
L’aan was definitely about to be ill, he was sure of it. “You’re saying... This void creature impregnated me with you all?”
Y’ensid’s face scrunched in displeasure. “I... suppose you could put it in such a way... Though I don’t personally care for it. I feel it’s more fitting to say, the progenitor infected you with us, not unlike a parasite.”
“That doesn’t feel any more comfortable to me...” L’aan said. Despite this experience supposedly being in the realm of his dreams, he definitely needed a seat, setting himself down on the couch.
In a flicker of what might be considered a show of concern, Y’ensid spoke again. “Time is growing short for you, I’ll make to point.” He strode to stand before L’aan. “I require your aid. Such in a way I suspect would be mutually beneficial to the both-.”
“Forget it.” To L’aan, it wasn’t even a question. He would not go down this treacherous road. “I was weak once to let a demon nearly ruin me, I’ll not offer you any chance to.”
“Not even if it meant to purge the others from you, completely?” Y’ensid  rhetorized. “Or to restore your talents in magic?”
L’aan’s ears perked again. “What do you mean, ‘restore’?”
“You’ve had quite a struggle learning thaumaturgy, yes?” He gestured his hand passively. “You’re a exemplary healer, thanks to the elementals that provide you strength to weave magic into healing arts. But it’s no coincidence that the lot of us are here, while your talent for it is near innexistent...”
“You’ve been hindering my black magic.”
“Not us, solely.” Y’ensid began to pace about, glancing around the room, studying the simulacrum of both his and his husband’s belongings with barely expressed curiosity. “The progenitor, seizes most of the blame. The reason for the brood-parent of our kind, is to gather aether for it. To swear fealty to it, and keep it in a steady supply of power.” He turns his face back to him. “Y’hento knew this, even when he erupted from you, left the rest of us to shrivel and dissipate. Such as why he craved the power of the primals he slayed with you as his puppet.”
“He meant to give that power to the brood-parent?”
“He meant to usurp the brood-parent.” Y’ensid corrected, turning his head again, plucking a knick-knack off a shelf, examining it with his hands. “Such as what likely got him destroyed...” L’aan watched, as the demon turned the bobble idly in his hands, before setting it back where he found it, as if it weren’t the phantom of the actual thing. “Y’hento was ambitious, but he never was one to see the big picture...”
L’aan tilted his head, narrowing his gaze at the other. “Not like you, I suppose?” He prodded.
He shrugged. “My progenitor can’t touch me, while I am still inside you, the protective outer layer you are.” He steps back into place in front of L’aan, putting his hands behind his back, his white tail swishing behind him. “From in here, I can seek out my siblings, simply devour them, add their power to my own, as such I’ve already begun.”
“What do you need from me, then?”
“I want my progenitor to dissolve. Wiped clean from existence, the same manner you saw happen to Y’hento.” He surmised, plainly. “Now that I know it’s possible for void-kin to be burned in such a way, and with your newest skills with both magic and blade you’ve learned in Gyr Abania, I would have you help me. Not assuming direct control, I would act as your navigator to see the job gets done effectively.”
“And after that?”
“I would simply wish to exist outside of you.” He pulls his hands from his back, turning his empty palms outward. “Autonomy. That is my one goal.”
“What if I refuse?”
He inclined his head. “What are your other options?”
For what was probably the thirtieth time in this interaction, L’aan’s stomach flipped. He hated he had no rebuttal for the demon. There had to be other options, other avenues he hadn’t been able to pursue when Y’hento had took him over? Certainly some kind of exorcism was possible?
Y’ensid shrugged, tossing his hair. “Time has run short, the waking world is calling.” He crossed his arms over his chest, regarding the other. “Give it some thought. Hells, talk with Salem, if you wish. The next time you hear from me, it will be under your invitation.”
That was the final word, as the room dissolved into darkness.
As soon as it had dissipated, L’aan had returned to the room, face pressed into a cushion, and with dream dust in his eyes.
He pushed himself up on the couch, looking about his home blearily, a ringing ache in his head. Judging by how dark the room was, it was sometime in the evening. It didn’t seem like Salem had returned yet.
L’aan stood, his bones creaking in protest, as he made his way towards the bath, picking his clothes off along the way, littering them on the floor.
For a time, he sat just on the edge of the bath, scooping water into his face, and checking his reflection, as he contemplated the dream he had, and the creature that came to him.
“The next time you hear from me, it will be under your invitation.”
L’aan’s ears pinned to his head as the worry pecked at him. He tucked into a curl, recklessly throwing himself into the bath with a vitriolic splash.

Two Georgia inmates serving long prison sentences and “dangerous beyond description” overpowered and killed two guards on a prison bus before fleeing in a stolen car, authorities said.
The deadly escape happened about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday as the guards drove 33 inmates between prisons, and it set off a massive manhunt involving local, state and federal officers, Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills said.
Sills was emotional as he described the scene.
“I saw two brutally murdered corrections officers, that’s what I saw,” he said. “I have their blood on my shoes.”
Donnie Russell Rowe, serving life without parole, and Ricky Dubose, who has prominent tattoos on his face and neck, overpowered, disarmed and killed Sgt. Christopher Monica and Sgt. Curtis Billue and then carjacked a driver who happened to pull up behind the bus on a rural highway, Sills said.
They got into the “grass green,” four-door 2004 Honda Civic with the Georgia license plate number RBJ-6601 and drove west on state Highway 16 toward Eatonton, southeast of Atlanta.
“We are still desperately looking for these two individuals. They are armed with 9 mm pistols that were taken from these correctional officers. They are dangerous beyond description. If anyone sees them or comes into contact, they need to call 911 immediately,” the sheriff said.
The two inmates got a head start by taking and tossing the Honda driver’s cellphone and leaving the other 31 prisoners locked inside the bus, Sills said.
“My biggest worry is they’re going to kill somebody else,” Sills said.
Later Tuesday, the manhunt shifted about 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the north to the city of Madison, where Sills said the two men burglarized a house and then two men fitting their descriptions were reportedly seen in a Family Dollar store less than a mile away. Authorities had no further signs of the inmates and had no reason to believe they had split up, Sills said.
Multiple agencies contributed to a reward of $60,000 for information leading to the arrests of the two inmates, Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Nelly Miles said.
Monica and Billue were both transfer sergeants at Baldwin State Prison. Monica had been with the Georgia Department of Corrections since October 2009 and Billue since July 2007.
How the two inmates managed to reach and overpower the guards remains under investigation, Sills said.
“They were inside the caged area of the bus,” he said. “How they got through the locks and things up to that area I do not know.”
Protocol is to have two armed corrections officers on the bus, but the officers don’t wear bullet-proof vests during transfers, Corrections Commissioner Greg Dozier said.
“We lost two of our fellow officers, two of our kin. We see our officers as our family,” Dozier said.
Monica was 42 and leaves behind a wife, Dozier said. Billue was 58 and is survived by his father, five sisters, two brothers and two sons, said Jim Green, an attorney who’s speaking for the Billue family.
“Officer Billue’s family asks for prayers for all of those who are now placing their own lives at risk to bring these men to justice and asks anyone who has information that may assist in apprehending these perpetrators to please contact law enforcement,” Green said in an email.
The guards were moving the inmates to a diagnostic prison in Jackson, where their next placement was to be determined, Dozier said, adding that inmates do not know their transfer dates ahead of time.
Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal pledged every state resource necessary to catch the pair.
“The selflessness and courage of these two brave souls will not be forgotten, nor will their sacrifice and service,” Deal said in an emailed statement.
U.S. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said federal resources are being committed to help catch the fugitives. The FBI and U.S. Marshals have joined the investigation, Sills said.
“An attack on any American law enforcement officer is an attack on every American law enforcement officer and the principles we all believe in,” Rosenstein told a Senate budget panel in Washington Tuesday morning.
Both escaped inmates were serving long sentences for armed robbery and other crimes. The Department of Corrections said Rowe, 43, has been serving life without parole since 2002, and Dubose, 24, began a 20-year sentence in 2015.
A photo released by the sheriff’s office in Elbert County, the site of his most recent conviction, shows Dubose with prominent tattoos. He appears to have a crown tattooed above his right eyebrow, writing above his left eyebrow and large letters covering the entire front of his neck.
“They need to surrender before we find ’em,” Sills said.
