Dubstep is so baby!! Does she enjoy music and boop it out with Jazz and Soundwave?

Yeah she does! It's the main thing they all do when they hang out. Dubstep likes music you can feel in your whole body like... Dubstep. But avoids softer music like piano and the like.

Which coincidentally is also Soundwave's tastes though he leans on the heavily modulated and electronic. Jazz is fascinated by human culture like in general but music is something he always checks out when they visit Earth.

The Basic order of events in OWP I'm using is this:

Optimus finds the Allspark and is reformatted.

Megatron boards the Orion looking for the Allspark and is instantly smitten with the pretty warframe.

Optimus is not smitten and kicks him out of the airlock even faster.

The ship crashes and everyone is in stasis.

Sari is born and the Decepticon generals discover where the Nemesis was last seen.

Sari stumbles aboard the Orion, receives the Key and wakes the crew.

The events of season 1 take place with some alterations.

Soundwave more or less joins Team Prime as Optimus’s son while still reporting back to Megatron. This is less about spying and more a custody agreement neither of his parents are aware of.

The Decepticons sense the flare ups whenever the Allspark brings something to life, but are otherwise unable to locate it.

Black Arachnia manages to piece things together and confront OP. While being unwillingly fused to the Allspark is different from becoming half organic, there are enough similarities to her situation for her to sympathize.

Starscream also figures it out, and while Shrieking that the era of Holy Primes is long dead, attempts to pry open Optimus’s chest plates. He doesn't succeed but does gain a fragment of metal from Optimus, infused with the Allspark's power.

Megatron is ressurected, Optimus finally figures out how to fly, and Starscream is killed only to be ressurected by the false fragment in his subspace.

Jazz, Ultra Magnus, Sentinel, and Blurr all come to visit.

Ultra Magnus (falsely) is told that Optimus died shortly after spontaneously reformatting as a warframe. They take a sample of his coding back to Cybertron, and Blurr is left behind to secretly observe Team Prime.

Soundwave overhears Magnus and Perceptor discuss "modifications" that were performed on newly emerged sparks and relays this information to Optimus.

Optimus realizes that he was always meant to be a warframe and is greatly upset by the idea that his teammates were also robbed of their proper frames.

The Allspark reformats Team Prime.

the Jettwins are made, and it is revealed that Soundwave stowedaway on the Elite Guard ship. Optimus is very upset that his baby is so far away, the Allspark responds by creating more mechs.

Events of season 2 more or less happen

Blurr is rescued from Master Disaster and is reformatted. This affects his security codes and he loses contact with Cybertron

The Allspark has apparently decided that any modified Cybertronian will be reformatted regardless of how close they are to Optimus.

Sari gets her upgrade early, and while Black Arachnia doesn't lose her spider mods entirely, she does become more comfortable in her frame.

Starscream's false fragment slowly loses power the more he uses it

The Elite Guard make a return trip to Earth and gets reformatted. Optimus is forced to reveal to them that he is alive, but manages to hide the Matrix for now.

All of Optimus’s babies are under one roof, finally.

Ratchet blackmails Shockwave into protecting Optimus, but Shockwave still informs the Decepticons of the truth.

Having kept well informed of mythology by his hunt for the Allspark, Megatron realizes that Optimus is not a Prime but a Prime

Megatron chooses to earnestly Court Optimus

I made that post and almost immediately fell ill. Am I cursed? Whatever, here’s a piece for @yuukirita, who owes me copious amounts of therapy and I’m bribing them with this so at least one story has a happy ending.

Elita places her face in her servos and screams.

Across from her, Optimus frowns and gently pats her on the back. “Jazz, you’re sure B just… disappeared?”

“I wouldn’t lie about that!” Jazz places a servo on his chest, the dramatics failing to fully cover up the nervous twitches of his door wings. Elita had made several threats, and he was not eager to find out what having a mining drill through his spinal strut felt like.

“The vents,” Elita says, sighing deeply. “He’s small. He went through the fragging vents.”

Jazz spares a glance up, finally noticing how the vent cover for the room is eskew. “Primus,” he says. “That kid is going to be the death of me.”

“No,” Elita says, “I’m going to be the death of you—“

Optimus tries to grab her arm but she dodges out of the way, rapidly approaching Jazz. Said bot starts running away, propelled by fear and the desire to live.

The Prime watches them run out of the room, letting out a frame rattling sigh. Then he taps his comms. “Ratchet, prepare the medbay. Tell Prowl we might be scraping up parts of Jazz for the next few days.”

“How did you get here?”

“The vents!”

Megatron stares down at a very cheery, somewhat dull pile of gold. That explains the dust. “B, you can’t be here.”

The newbuild pouts. “But I wanted to see you! I’m making sure you’re okay!”

Megatron pinches his nasal ridge. “There. Confirmation, I’m fine. Now, stay here, I’m going to have a very awkward conversation with Optimus Prime—“

“Negative. B: ours.” Soundwave, coming from a door he didn’t even know was there, scoops up B and immediately backs away.

Megatron blanks for a klik, before letting out a series of random noises. “Soundwave, what?!” 

From the hidden door, Starscream and Shockwave cheer. 

“You’re in on this?!”

Soundwave reaches them and, with some hisses and B’s giggles, they flee the scene. All three of his most trusted advisors just bot-napped Optimus Prime’s kid.

My heart is literally hurting for Star because he genuinely didn't know, and he finally is starting to be vulnerable, and now he knows it's not going to last no matter what. And the inner turmoil of the reader being so torn between him and Soundwave? Wanting both but not being able to hurt Star after he put everything at risk?? It's so good but it hurts my heart 😭😭

And Jazz finally getting someone who would listen to his feelings and get to know the real him under all his masks?? The poor guy needs that so bad, and he's finally opening up (even if she can't understand what he's saying)

All in all, your writing is amazing, and you are literally amazing ✨️✨️✨️

IDW Jazz x Reader

• “You could just let me take you,” he says as he watches you lock the door and do an awkward shuffle to put the keys away while trying to not drop one of your crutches in the process. Leaving him for work again. Wanting to help, but also knowing exactly how stubborn you are as you eye the stairs off your porch. He’d also figured out forgiveness was much easier to ask for than permission, reaching to lift you in his servos and carefully set you down in the driveway crutches and all bypassing the steps and then backing up to fall forward into his alt mode.

• Heart racing at being picked up unexpectedly, you warm watching his antics. Because he knows you struggle with the steps and he’d saved you from dealing with them when he didn’t have to. “We both know you have better things to do than chauffeur me around,” you say, trying not to laugh when he opens the driver’s side door and wags it back and forth in invitation.

• “Come for a ride, doll. I’ll behave.” Door still open, he fully expects you to walk past him to your own ugly car, so it’s a surprise when you slide in the driver’s seat and awkwardly lean the crutches in the passenger side. And then you’re right there and he’s more aware of you this way somehow than when he’s held you in his servos. You’re warm against him, soft hands brushing the steering wheel hesitantly as if not sure if it’s okay and he can smell your soap, your shampoo, you. “Alright,” he murmurs more to himself than to you, because it’s a small thing, but you’re entrusting yourself to him. And that means so much.

• There’s no way to not overthink that you’re sitting inside Jazz and it’s weird. You end up folding your hands in your lap so you don’t touch anything you shouldn’t. Inhaling as the shifter moves on its own and then the wheel spins as he reverses. “Doll, you’re going to have to at least pretend to drive,” he laughs and he’s right. Other drivers might notice you’re just sitting there so you just barely touch your palms to the wheel, letting it move freely against your skin.

• Primus, you’re precious. Eyes darting all over his interior, trying so hard not to touch anything. “What do you do normally? I mean a phantom car driving itself has to freak people out,” you mumble, shifting against him as he turns onto the road, wheels humming. Liking the feel of having you there, surrounded by him and safe, it takes a moment to actually understand your question. It’s not nearly the same as holding you in his hands, but still comforting to him that you’re there with him. It doesn’t take a lot of energy, but he does have to concentrate to create a holomatter avatar in the passenger side seat to show you what he normally does, not bothering to make it solid at all since your crutches are embedded in the avatar’s legs and torso and your head turns as it appears. He’s not sure what he expected, but it’s definitely not for you to scream and throw yourself against the inside of his door.

• “It’s me. It’s an avatar,” the glitchy thing in the passenger seat is saying in Jazz’s voice, holding up big hands as you nearly have a heart attack. “Doll, it’s okay. Sorry, I just-frag.” And the human shaped thing flickers and fades, leaving your heart hammering against your ribs. You’re still plastered to the door, hands curled into fists. “Were you going to punch me?” Yes. You absolutely were, because it had just been there so suddenly, a fixed grin on a fake looking face that was staring right at you, Eyes closing you lean your forehead against the cool glass of the driver’s side window and try to calm down and instead start laughing. Covering your face with your hands as he vents at you in exasperation, blowing warm air across your skin and you realize he’s never asked where you work, an address or anything. So how does he know where to take you? Has he been following you?

how did soundwave and hush reunite? 👀

I'll be doing a little comic for it later. HOWEVER, to answer your question, Hush and Soundwave reunite after the events of the TF1 movie.

After the High Guard leave with Megatron, Hush joins them quietly in order to follow after Soundwave. She and Soundwave meet soon after the newly formed Decepticons stop to recover. The instant she appears, Soundwave approaches in sheer awe and fear all at once. It's a bit of a stand off, with Hush not fully believing what she's seeing and Soundwave being beyond shocked to see what his daughter has become. It takes a moment, but they quickly reconnect with an embrace and all is well.

Right?

Well sort of.

If you want a little extra lore for later, read below the cut.

Hush has very few emotional ties to the Decepticons, she just wants her Sire at first. However, after being with the newly formed Decepticons for a while, she grows very attached to Megatron in particular. She sees him as being, in part, her savior (since he murdered Sentinel). On top of that, her hero worship/strange desire for paternal approval, is only encouraged by Soundwave.

Soundwave wants to keep Hush close and secure. Since she is biologically his, he knows exactly what buttons to push, what programming to to tug on. For cassette carriers, they are a naturally loyal frame type, ones who generally choose one or two mechs (and subsequently one goal) to follow and serve throughout their lifetimes. Soundwave intends to keep Hush by his side by encouraging her programming to latch onto Megatron as her guiding light. For the most part, he is successful in this goal.

However, Hush also has some Airachnid in her. She is not completely loyal even though she is latched onto Megatron and Soundwave as master and Sire respectively. Because of this, she has some doubts. And those doubts are only emphasized when she runs into Jazz, the Autobots new spymaster, while operating undercover later down the line.

Little thrills and chirps come from the cove as a tiny blur of yellow and black zips through the water, Chasing the human who walks along the shore line. The little pup eagerly calls out with little noises trying to catch their attention. A chorus of soft crooning rises among the mingled pods at the greeting of the tiny pup.

"Hello Babybee!" The human calls out softly to the baby mer. many of the other oceanides kept looking out over the pup, but they were already aware that the human wouldn't hurt the little one.

The little mer thrills delightedly while trying to drag himself onto the sand closer to them. "No, no, no baby you can't come onto the sand." They call while trying to usher the little yellow and black pup back into the water.

A pout forms on the little one's face, tiny fins flapping in dismay. But just as swiftly Dancer is there in an instant, gracefully scooping the youth back into the safety of the pool.

It's only the deep rumble of Big Blue which makes Bee turn around quickly and call out loudly to his Sire. But he doesn't move. "You haven't been annoying your papa while he's been healing have you?" They inquire only for more little thrills and chirps to leave the pup. Big blue emerges then from the depths, red and cobalt scales gleaming serenely as ever in the midday light.

Bee pouts but subsides against his sire's side, tiny purrs and trills of disappointed longing leave the pup as he clings to the larger mer.

Windblade is first to respond to the little pup, drifting nearer with grace. "Bumblebee, there you are! You know better than to crawl on the sand" she Coos softly to the stripped pup.

Starscream scoffs, though his fins lay flat in disinterest. But ever-playful Skywarp spins gleeful loops around Windblade and pup. "Aww, lookit the little bitlet! You're getting so big, your colours are looking bright" he hums while gently looking over the pup.

"Now now, little one, you know the rules. The beach side is for walking friends, not us, can't have you getting yourself beached." She soothes, calming his upset with the practised ease of a carrier well versed in youthful disobedience. "Aww let him have his fun, Blades! We were all curious pups once."

It's only the deep rumble of Optimus which makes them all go quiet. Bumblebee turns around quickly and calls out loudly to his Sire. But he doesn't move from Windblade’s hold. Optimus slowly takes his pup from her hold cradling the little one close.

"Bumblebee," he rumbles gently, "you know the rules, little one. No going on the sand, you are too young." Gently yet firmly he lifts the pup into loving arms, cerulean eyes glowing with warmth at his little one.

Bumblebee pouts but subsides against his sire's powerful arms, still emitting little Trills of disappointed longing. Optimus meets the caretaker's eyes, they both watch each other for a moment as he continues to cradle his pup.

A mournful stillness falls over the mingled pods as they watch Optimus with Bumblebee.

"last season was a difficult one. But I'm glad to see your little one out and about" Her field pulses faint sadness, she had lost her own too early, taking quickly to Bumblebee as many of the pod did.

“As am I, I'm forever grateful for all the humans have done for Bee, I doubt he would have survived without their help” he rumbles softly. Windblade continues to wiggle her claws at the little one who giggles and grabs them.

"We can't keep losing generation after generation like this. Something's thinning the gene pool and we're not breeding fast enough to replace what's lost." Ironhide calls out while swimming closer. “Hey pup” he hums, giving the little one a head rub.

Starscream hisses uneasily. "There are fewer pods venturing near each cycle. It's those land crawlers doing, mark my words they are the reason for it!” He huffs out.

"I'm aware of the drop in our numbers but as it is, the only help we have received with our young is from the humans, had I not taken Bee to them when I did we would have no surviving pups." His words give them pause. they all knew Optimus was right, Bumblebee was very sick and without the marine centre's help he would have perished.

Optimus to turn to Starscream. “How is Megatron?, I haven't seen him since out fight”

"Megatron's wounds mend, though slowly." Starscream's fins flick in agitation. "The stress is getting to him, he wonders why Primus forbids him his own spawn. But spared yours”

Skywarp chitters nervously. "It's never been this bad before, not for long cycles. Even Megatron knows something bigger's going on, making it hard for the little ones to survive.”

"Maybe the softskins are right and it's more than just bad luck or genes. Something's changing in the deep, and we're on the losing side regardless of the cause." Ironhide shoots back

But Windblade flashes her finned guardians a quelling look. " What matters now is caring for Bumblebee and hope that we are granted a change with the next season."

Windblade continues stroking the youth gently. "Bumblebee would not be here if not for the humans' care. It seems...our song may rely on theirs, if it is to have any hope of continuing in the seas."

Her words are met with uneasy hesitation never before have the Oceanides relied upon outsiders, but Optimus had. Drift speaks up as he Drift's beside Rodimus "Our numbers fall while theirs climb ever higher. If we do not accept assistance, soon there may be no pods left at all."

Starscream hisses uneasily. "Dolphins grow ever more bold and numerous, harassing us when we feed where once they gave a wide berth. The orcas too have tasted our energon and now we have to be wary of them."

Ratchet croons in concern. "The humpback and grey kin have fallen silent, their great pods have moved on. No allies remain in which we can seek refuge when predator numbers swell, our best option is to stay here till they return to these waters."

"The great sharks now prowl only the farthest blue edges, driven from their feeding grounds by the loud noise and flashing lights of human undersea vessels. We have no kin but our own, our safety is the shorelines unless we are in number but with a youngling we can not take to deep waters yet."

Bumblebee chirps again, wiggling in his sires' hold until he escapes, disappearing from Optimus' side and swimming back to the human on the sandy shore again. It earns a laugh from the human as they scoot forward a little. Gently brushing the little frills of his head. It makes Optimus' spark ache.

Starscream vents quietly. "Few among us have known the happiness of sparking and rearing young. I doubt the other pods are having the same issues as us, perhaps we need new mingling when they come to the sands again"

“ It could be an option, considering our five Pods seem to not be having the best of luck” Sunstreaker mutters softly.

“ I'd like to see Chromia again, Hopefully Elita’s pod returns ” Windblade murmurs to herself, she could only hope that Chromia had better luck with a pup. But she did miss her bonded.

“You know the landers don't seem to have much issues with offspring, maybe they'd be willing to help us out” Rodimus blurts out, he wasn't exactly paying full attention to what was being said.

Windblade's fins flare in startled protest. Turning towards the bright orange and Red Oceanide. "Mating with outsiders goes against the sacred bonds of pod and kin!"

"Mating season nears and our numbers dwindle," Rodimus insists. "I'm not saying we have to do anything, it was just a thought!." He huffs out but lounges back against the rocks, his eyes watching the human now playing with Bumblebee in the shallows. But it does make many of the others stop to think. Humans seemed to have much better luck with their young than the Pod. But even that there was no promise of young or if a coupling of that sort would be viable.

Skywarp speaks up next. "If it means pups, what does it matter who their carrier is?"

Ironhide rumbles grim concerns. "Involving outsiders in matters of our Pods could alter both species in ways none foresee."

The younger mers pulse with surging field and logic as Rodimus presses his point. Bluestreak begins voicing his opinion. "Look how the caretaker cares for Bumblebee. Is that so different from how one would care for our young? And see how the little one beams at their touch, as content as any podling among kin!"

"He's got a point - the softskins aren't so strange. And if it brings pups, what's to lose?" Vortex states while watching the other pods continue to argue over the subject.

"Frag the fleshies, if it means more bitlets! Who cares? if it saves our pods I'd say it's worth it” Onslaught remarks only for other mers to hiss at his crash words.

But steely Jazz croons, despite his love for their little caretaker and the other human's of the centre he didn't trust that other humans wouldn't use it to their advantage. "Breedin' another species ain't no simple thing, mech. what's to stop the softskins wantin' somethin' back we ain't willin' to give?"

“We mate freely when the tide flows, so why not them? On land or sea,” Swindle shrugs, it was true, some mers had multiple mades others single, but due to the times they had taken to mating with multiple in hopes for young.

Rodimus refuses to relent under Elders stinging reprimand. "Do you think I propose this out of boredom or mere lust?" he retorts hotly. "Since my own youth, our numbers have halved - and how many more fading cycles must pass before no pups remain at all?, this season we have one surviving, one Pup between Five pods"

"The landers recognize as we do that something ails us. If natural means no longer can restore our numbers, then must we not embrace other paths, however unorthodox, hey im all for if we find another way, but what happens when next season we have no pups"

Rodimus spins to pin each dissenting elder with a fiery piercing glare. "Or would you have us fade to nothing instead, condemning future generations to exist only in memory?" His impassioned defence strikes silence from many.

Optimus' gaze turns to watches with quiet intensity as the human and pup interact, observing how they handle the bitlet with such care.

Long has he guided his pod, but he too knew something was amiss. The broods he once bore long since ventured into the deeps few remained. Yet...if agreement could be found, built, why not try. “If by this season we have no young It will be something the human will know. They are intelligent. If they are willing to assist, we will gladly take their offer” Optimus rumbles, it's the end of discussion as he slowly moves away from the others towards his bitlet.

"Yes, yes hello sweet baby, you know I'll get in trouble if I'm around you too much, vets said you need to be around your pod, can't have you getting too attached to me" they hum mainly to themself knowing full well the little pup didn't understand.

Bumblebee thrills piteously, tiny claws outstretched and straining toward them, flexing futilely. "No test today baby, you look so healthy now!" They chimed but sigh as the little one drags themself into their lap. Slowly scooting down the sand they sit in the water so Bee doesn't dry out too much. Their eyes watch the larger Oceanides talk amongst themselves. It almost sounds like a melody with the sweet sounds they made.

“Are the adults boring you baby?” They tease softly only for the little yellow and black pup to snuggle Into their side purring contently. “Gonna get me in big trouble with Quin Beebee.

It's a long while before the older mers finish what seemed like an intense conversation.

Gracefully Big blue nudges nearer, slowly beaching himself close to them, trying his best not to startle either of them. gently but firmly he lifts the pup away, cerulean eye meeting their own with gratitude beyond words. They smile and laugh softly as it earns a grumble from the little one who didn't want to be disturbed.

jazzwave au where jazz and soundwave spend half their interactions flirting and the other half fighting. jazz drops from the vents in soundwave's habsuite while infiltrating the nemesis just to drop a rose on his desk. soundwave sends ravage with a custom mixtape for jazz to hide under his berth covers before she carries out her actual mission. jazz blows a kiss to soundwave from across the room before pulling out the hard drive he was downloading information on and fucking booking it. soundwave catches jazz in a dip and then fucking throws him off a cliff.

Alls well and good up until someone gets caught by the AutoBots and interrogated. "What's your plans for [Name]?" "Smash." "[Different name]?" "Pass, ew."

You can just see Carly and Spike having wildly difefent reactions(she is laughing so hard she might pass out and he is disgusted) to the interrogation in the background, the autobots are not ready to process what smash or pass is and what it mean that the decepticons, at least this one, know and CONCIDER YOU AS A SMASH

Bumblebee, Jazz and Blaster knows what smash or pass os tho, it still baffles them if said captured decepticons is, say, Soundwave, Megatron or Receptor

So I got a four for one in questions about Sparkplug AU. Your AU has got me in vice grip now, and I want the know about the lore.

First: We've seen Rumble, Frenzy, and Ravage, but no Laserbeak... where is the guy at, is he okay?

Second: Since Soundblaster's design is based off of TFP Soundwave does he have is own mini-con, if so I'm gonna guess it's Buzzsaw since that's been the usual status quo with Soundblaster these days?

Third: What does Sparkplug think of the other members of Nightflyer's family like Slipstream, Acid Storm, and Airachnid did they break the cycle and become friends?

Fourth: How did the Autobots feel about Soundwave when he defected with Megatron?

1: Laserbeak is around! He’s safe don’t worry. He just likes hanging out and sitting in trees. He’s enjoying a nice retirement as of now.

2: yes!! Soundblaster’s only mini-con as of now is Buzzsaw! He actually built them himself with parts found around Skockwave’s lab. Buzzsaw is very dear to SB and he takes great care in maintaining their upkeep.

3: at first she’s very cautious and wary. She knows these bots will definitely not like her so she stays away. However post Tarn and Nightflyers death, pre Nightflyer being reborn, Slipstream and Sparkplug are forced to work together. They’re able to be honest with one another, Slipstream telling Spark about how she hates having to put on a fake smile in order to be respected by the people of Cybertron. Spark is able to comfort her and assure her that she likes the real Slipstream, brashness and all, and that they probably could have been friends if they met earlier. They still have a very Starscream and Megatron like back and forth, but it’s clear it’s all in good fun rather than hate.

4: it depends, most of them still really don’t wanna be associated with them. However those who actually got to know them, found they were pretty harmless and pretty good bots (incredibly flawed but good deep down). Jazz was the fist to accept Soundwave along with Blaster, funny enough, due to Sparkplug’s existence, Elita would make Soundwave an honorary member of the girls squad. A lot of the old heads (Ratchet, Magnus, Cup) were rather fond of Megatron’s old soul. However other then that, most do keep their distance.

Financial HCs for the G1 Transformers!

This is for the part all pre/post-war, but I still thought it was funny.

Optimus

Op is pretty responsible, and was decently stable. Not super stable, but not frequently worrying about food or anything kind of unstable. The only thing he’s bad at budgeting is when it comes to purchasing interface amenities.

Elita

Elita’s like Optimus, pretty responsible and stable. Again, only irresponsible with interface amenities, and hers is usually on restraints and collars, compared to his more on toys and other items. Usually Optimus is the one who spends more at a store floating around, where she’s in and out with exactly what she needed/wanted.

Jazz

For being a career criminal who stole money for a living pre-war, he’s not the best at budgeting. He sees one thing that he thinks he should get Prowl, and all responsibility goes out the window. So pre-war, he’s neither financially stable nor responsible, and is only stable post-war bc he’s got Prowl around and pretty much everyone is pretty stable.

Prowl

Prowl is stable, but isn’t super good at budgeting at first, even though Barricade taught him how to do it properly. Ultimately he gets better eventually, and by FOP he’s really good at taxes. And post-war he’s the one doing them (bc Jazz commits tax evasion on the regular-).

Starscream

Starscream is incredibly financially stable, and responsible. He is a prince born into old money, and when he went to the science academy he was cut off and forced to budget a small allowance every month, so he learned very fast how to properly manage money.

He does taxes (tax him more, for all he cares. He loves taxes), he is very cost aware and efficient (this does not mean he’s cutting corners, he’s just well aware of what he’s spending, and how it will affect him later down the line, when he gets things.), and is not typically known for blowing his money for fun. Sometimes he’s a small spending mood, most of the time he’s pretty stingy with anything >10-20$.

Megatron and Soundwave

These two have no sense of financial responsibility. Combined they have less than 50¢, and Starscream is betting the approximate number is 42¢.

They’re both broke, and don’t know how to handle any amount of money. Star can barely give them a 20$ bill without them immediately sending it down the drain, they’re that bad.

I'm disappointed that Transformers One had so many great designs for minor/background characters and then Hasbro didn't produce figures for any of them except Wheeljack and Mirage for some reason. The toyline has over a dozen different versions of Optimus, but no Jazz, no Chromia, no Skywarp or Thundercracker or Slipstream, no Darkwing, none of the Thirteen Primes other than Alpha Trion, and the only Soundwave and Shockwave figures are Blokees (which are great, don't get me wrong, but it'd be nice to have toys of them that can actually transform).

Compare that to the toyline for the first Bayverse film. You know who got a figure? EVERYONE. Main characters. Secondary characters. Background characters. Characters who weren't even in the movie. Bayverse Arcee's first figure was released in 2007, two years before she made her on-screen debut in RotF! Dreadwing got a Bayverse figure and he didn't appear in ANY of the movies!

What's going on here, Hasbro? Do you not want my money?!

Transformers Allspark: Megatron's and Codexa's Work Buddies.

So my AU finally has name: Allspark! A reflection that it's a story about family, generations and the legacies that come with.

This post is focusing on Megatron's and Codexa's work pals.

Megatron is a miner in one of the most productive places for Energon in all of Cybertron, while Codexa is an archivist in the Temple of Primes.

From Megatron's side:

Jazz: Logistics officer. A bundle of fun, and lover of music and culture. He has a rivalry with the killjoy of Soundwave.

Soundwave: Communications officer. The guy who's responsible for everyone commnicating with each other. Lover of excellence, but also thinks Jazz is an annoying sh-t.

Brawn: DA BOSS. He's the manager of this entire unit. Small in size, big in personality, mightier than most bots. Respect his authority.

Blackout: AKA THE BIG GUY. The man who transports Energon in-and-out. A giant of a man with a strong sense of comraderie.

Shockwave: Former senator and scientist, but got empurata'd for reasons unknown. Thankfully his personality is still intact, however he's doomed to be a glorified processor. Suffers constant boredom and annoyance.

Lugnut: Lugnut is Lugnut. Not bright, but acts as security to make sure nobody is thinking of doing anything rowdy. Loves his job.

From Codexa's side:

Mistress of Flame: Speaker of Solus, and the primary teacher of the ways of Solus Prime. Aloof and none-too-personable, but can be inspiring when need be. Her presence on Cybertron is a signal of Caminus' interconnectedness with the home world.

Dai Atlas: Calm, Steadfast, and one of the mightiest warriors to ever live. A lover of peace who makes sure that his temple is a sanctuary for others.

Cyclonus: The professional Unicron's Advocate, a woman with knowledge of all the holy texts and philosophical tenents, and it's her job to poke holes in each, thus ensuring that society never takes one philosophy too seriously.

Star Saber: THE Paladin of Prima, who holds the Compendium of Prima, a holy book that talks about the life (and failings) of the great Paladin of Primes. Wise and powerful, but also witty with a sharp tongue if needed.

Tigraton: Originally a pilgrim who came to the temple to be closer to one of Onyx's relics, decided it was better to stay as an advocate for beast formers everywhere. Deeply spiritual and introspective.

Pyra Magna: Temple Guard, unusually more cynical in comparison to the others. She has seen much, and hasn't done prayers in a long while, but the Custodians of the Temple of Primes are family and she'll do anything to protect them. Anything.

when a soul goes to the pits, they sign their t-cog away meaning the t-cog slowly desintegrates. Rendering them coglessfor the rest of eternity, ripe to mine all day. If you know the musical, you know that the miners of hadestown loose their face and sense of self; the t-cog disintegrating is a representation of that. Truly signing their life away.

Solus Prime and Megatronus Prime are sparkbonded, she must spend 6 months (in earth vernacular) in The Pits (Iacon) with him, due to the fact that too long of a seperation would kill them both. She has duties as a prime upon top, just like he does in The Pits. This is my way of crossing over persephone's pomegranate incident lmao.

The primes take on very much a 13 olympians role, Solus being a forger; she takes care of the surface, "planting" her engineering, to say.

Iacon/Hadestown is ruled with the ideals of the decepticons, which obviously is not good and so not very. Whereas Orpheus in the musical very much has a "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" attitude, especially when he wishes to take the miners with him when he and eurydice leave the underworld, perfect for OP in my humble opinion.

How did the autobots and Decepticons in your au react to their first kill? Did it change them permanently or were they completely unbothered by it?

The cons are fine. It didn’t bother them too much.

With the exception of Soundwave who even still hasn’t kill a soul. And Slipstream who has avoided killing someone. She dreads the day Star presents her with an autobot to kill.

Megatron killed like five people when he was like 12. Most cons are military grade bots and are wired to do it.

As for the autobots they have struggled greatly.

Optimus will never completely get over his nerves. His first kill he threw up. A lot. Sometimes he still will.

For Elita, you can add that to a big pile of guilt she has. She was protecting her son at the time. She will try to avoid deadly force as much as possible, but if you mess with her kids that’s your own damn fault.

Scavenger didn’t like to do it. Partly why he joined the autobots.

Wheeljack was fine. Do with that what you will.

Bumblebee hasn’t killed a soul.

Chromia and Ironhide. I included them together because it was a group effort. Kinda. Ironhide had to smash someone face in. Many many sleepless nights. Ironhide didn’t know he was capable of that. He didn’t like it. It freaked out chromia too.

Jazz, he tries not to think about it.

Ratchet has and will. Over and over again if he has too. Has held off on deadly force for Optimus.

Most autobots try to avoid using deadly force. It’s apart of their moral code. Using violence is permitted until all other means have been exhausted. Most autobots were once civilians.

Drones are fair game.
